The breakfast was great also but they need to restock the foods more.

This is a great hotel located by the beach and walk in distance to nice beach front restaurants.
The rooms are spacious and clean. One thing that this hotel needs to get rid of is the wooden decorative ladder that they use in the bathroom as a towel rack.
A lot of people probably hang wet towels after they shower on this wooden ladder and naturally the wood was covered in mold. The mold was visible on the middle racks where it has been used the most. For that reason we used our own towels and I asked for extra towels which I didn’t place them on the wooden ladder.
The breakfast was bellow average and “clean” dishes had dried food particles on them. The glass cups also smelled ( if you know, you know). Once I grabbed few plates and felt/saw dried food particles. I couldn't bring myself to eat there. The food wasn't very appealing either.
My husband ate breakfast, and he said it was bellow average.
The hotel lobby and main staircase and hallways are super clean. The staff at front desk were very nice. Cant say the same for the restaurant staff. Overall the location and cleanliness was good. The rest was just ok!

Great property right on the beach. Ocean view room was amazing. Front desk was very helpful, and dining options at the hotel and all along the strand were really good!
The only bad thing was the nightclub across the way was so loud until 3:30am. Kept me up all 4 nights I stayed there.

This bouquet hotel is very nice. The sangria, garlic/tomato bread, and paella are magnificent! However, it is within a very short walk to a beach club with very loud music that closes at 4 a.m. It was also extremely difficult to get a taxi to town. Uber X with pre-tip is the best option.

Very good location to the beach. Rooms are nice. Be aware it is a bit noisy with a night club not far from the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Staff was so helpful and friendly, especially Margot. I would not recommend the restaurant for dinner, as it's overpriced and cramped on the patio.

This is a lovely hotel overlooking the beach in Valencia. The bedroom was large and well-equipped. The bed was comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect as there is a choice of dining and bars right next to the hotel. The area is quite lively, but it is also safe and clean. The Marina Beach Club is close by and has loud music plus the occasional fireworks which can be heard.
Travel to other parts of Valencia is easy and the hotel is near bus and tram routes making it a perfect location for sightseeing.

So pleased we chose this hotel. The Staff were brilliant from the moment we arrived till we left. Very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Lovely modern decor fabulous appointed rooms and bathroom. I was most impressed by the quality of the \"made-to-order\" breakfast. It's difficult to understand why more places don't prepare scrambled eggs the same way.

Loved our stay here. The location is perfect right on the beach with lots of dining options nearby. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic. The options and service are great. If you book an ocean view room be aware that there is an outdoor disco that goes until about 3 AM if it's not raining. You'll need earplugs if you're not lured asleep by the thump thump of dance music. No place on the beach here is immune to it, even with the doors closed.

This is a wonderful hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful. We had a seaside room that was large, airy and comfortable. The only downside is the marina club nearby that blared dance music until the wee hours. We sleep with earplugs in so it was not a big deal for us, but it does impact the chill vibe of this hotel.

Right on the beach, which was gorgeous…Hotel is clean and safe… as written in other reviews, you are likely to have some street noise at night (possibly on weekend only) from either beachside bars, or crowds returning home from those…
There were few things that caused some frustration:
- breakfast starts late, at 8 am on weekdays, and 8:30 on the weekend. Our train to Seville was at 9:20 am, and we could not have breakfast on the day of departure
- no food or drinks from the outside was allowed in the room… why?!
- if you dine in their restaurant, which was fantastic, a “default” welcome basket of bread and a bottle of plain tap water will cost you 3 euros each… just beware…

Pros - The hotel is by the beach and can walk to bus station in 9 mins, which takes you to city center within 30 mins. The staff are extremely friendly! In winter, you can get up at 7:30am and still see the sunrise.

Cons - There is a really bad smell in the bathroom… the staff said it was because the temperature change and it happens often. I didn’t book an ocean view room, so you can see other rooms from the window. It’s not convenient to take the public transportation to the airport. You need to take the tram then transit to the airport line, which will take more than 1 hour.

Looking for a lovely beachside hotel, this is it

Amazing hotel right beside the beach with friendly reception staff.

We visited for a long weekend and we're well chuffed to enjoy this hotel. Less than a minute from the beach so you get to enjoy your breakfast looking into the beach.

The breakfast is consistently good and we never left hungry although they tend to run out of things, like most hotels, towards the end of service.

Easy public transport routes into town with buses and trams close by and it's walkable if you are up for an hour's walk.

They also have a great selection of wines.

Room was pretty large with a great bed and views either onto the beach or Street.

If you have some time check out the roof top cocktail bar for a relaxing drink at sunset.

The property is right on the beach close to the harbour. There was a beer festival close by when we stayed that made it noisy at night. There was a beach club that played loud music which you could hear when you were on the beach. Public transport to city was easy and cheap. Several restaurants close to hotel however you need to travel to shopping centre or city for more choice.

What was excellent: staff and service, location at the beach and near good restaurants, pretty room, delicious breakfast buffet. What was an issue: a perfume, flowery smell that would not go away. It was very strong in the room and less strong throughout the hotel. The staff tried to help but couldn’t because the smell seems to be coming through the HVAC system.

If you’re lucky you can get free parking just outside otherwise pay parking is across the street. The beach is right there , the water is amazing., Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Hotel Balandret has the best staff- so attentive, friendly and helpful. They even sent me a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine for my birthday which was unexpected.

Our room (number 13), was an Executive suite which looks out to the Main Street was very comfortable. The wood floors in the rooms mean you can hear everyone else in the hotel but that wasn’t really an issue as it was a quiet time of year. Our curtain also did not shut fully so the beautiful sunlight and evening lighting came through but once this is fixed, I am sure it’ll be a lovely dark room. The other reviews are right - the pillows are so comfortable.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is really good and the proximity to the beach is great. We had a room with a sea view which was beautiful and we could avail of free parking outside the hotel, and close-by when that was full.
All in all I loved this hotel but the main issue we had was being kept awake by the music at a nearby beach club until 3am every night. We didn’t complain to the hotel as there is nothing they can do, the club is mostly open-air and across the marina from them. However, since they play loud, thumping dance music until the early morning, if you have a sea view room you may face problems with the noise. I am a light sleeper so it was a big problem for me. Had we stayed in a different room here, we may not have faced any issues. I would still recommend this hotel to anyone, but choosing a quiet room is a must.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the beach. Everything about the hotel is great, but there is a HUGE dance club across the beach from the beachfront rooms. The bass vibrates the windows, and unfortunately we were there for a Saturday night. The club looks amazing, and if you are into clubbing, this would be a great stay for you. If you want peaceful sleep without earplugs, I would consider staying somewhere else. The hotel is amazing though.

Very cool outside, but open windows means significant noise.
This property does not appear provide cooling during what used to be a cold period called winter. Winter no longer exists in this part of the world. 25+ degrees room temperature is for me far too hot for sleeping or comfort.

A beautifully decorated hotel. The room was spacious and the air conditioning useful although a little bit on the cold side for our Liking. The staff at the reception desk was very helpful ant the restaurant attached to it of excellent quality!
A pity there was no lounge as such unless you had the most expensive rooms...
Our room had a view onto the garden/car park, probably best as there is a lot of noise on the beach side at night!

Great Hotel, spoiled by noisy nightclub

Hotel was great however, would advise against having an ocean view room during the summer. Unfortunately there is a nightclub close to the hotel that has loud music playing and fireworks going off until around 3 - 4am. We received an email from the hotel on the day we were due to travel there warning that there may be some noise but they could provide earplugs if needed. Unfortunately it was too late to re-book anything else so had to suffer. If we had know that there would be such noise we would not have booked this hotel. After complaining the hotel did not want to compensate for the disturbance stating that this usually happens during the summer months. Not being warned about this in advance spoiled our entire experience of Valencia as not being able to sleep until 4am is not a relaxing break.

Great visit to Valencia Beach.

Hotel location is excellent with the beach just a few footsteps away. The town rents lounge chairs and umbrellas for 5 euros each. Well worth a daily investment of 15 euros to have a comfortable beach location. We reserved a waterfront room which was sizable by European standards. Numerous restaurants sit directly below the boutique hotels and a promenade makes morning and evening walks very enjoyable. Would be very happy to stay here again in the future.

Great informative staff. Very friendly and always helpful. Clean and visually pleasing hotel and room. Only complaint were number of towels in our room. I stayed with my sister and we were each allocated one bath towel and one hand towel. We each have long hair and needed two towels each. Despite this towel ration everything else was top notch.
