The window in bedroom was looking out on corridor area rather than any sea or buildings or park view if I go again ask for a sea view room lovely and housekeeping excellent very comfortable Air conditioning vrry much appreciate
The dining aspect was strange anyone staying in the hotel were seated at the back of restaurant and given a set menu whereas anyone who came in for food had a much bigger choice and got to sit outside or at least with a sea view what a pity Id say charge a bit more if necessary and treat everyone the same
Reception staff very helped, dining staff ok
On the whole lovely place to stay just a pity no supermarket close by the one that is near is a good 15 mins walk and very hot for walking Fridge in bedroom wonderful and thanks for water and coffee machine for all kinds of hot drinks

This is my favorite Budget Hotel in valencia. I've seen several times over several years and always had beautiful service, impeccable cleanliness, and an enviable walk to the beach. The area is safe and accessible. I will be back every chance I can. And Diana at the reception is one of the best people I've met. Her service was incredible.

The ABOSOLUTE WORST hotel experience that we've had. The hotel part was full we were given a 2bd/2ba apartment without our agreement. The apt was spacious but sterile. It had a separate entrance from the hotel. The only way to contact the front desk was to go to hotel part in person as there were no hotel phones. There were air fresheners everywhere (rooms, hallways, elevators) that automatically sprayed a very strong scent. The hallways were pitch black during the night as the lights automatically went out, so you had to fumble to find the light switch before entering. On the first night, my daughter got a burn from the shower faucet because the water was so hot. When I took my shower, the water was cold. The front desk was of no help (I'll call and maybe a few days.), We learned to not touch the shower faucet and take short warm showers. There was a twin bed that collapsed when my daughter sat on it (it was missing almost 1/2 the slats). The person at the front desk just replaced one of the fallen slats and didn't offer any apologies/explanation. We woke up to multiple mosquito bites on our faces and arms (had to buy deet and spray it on our beds each night). We probably killed/smash half a dozen mosquitos. There was also a dead cockroach in front of the elevator. Also, we were told that we had to take out the trash to the large city trash bins in the street. There are no maid service to the apt. When we complained, the front desk was of no help & no follow-up. AVOID!!!!!

My request for a room away from a lift was totally ignored and I was given one right next to one. Luckily the lift was not too noisy and could not be heard through ear plugs. My room was large with bare stone floors and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was wonderful.. very spacious sink unit, nice shower and bidet. The tv had no channel in English and to use the safe involved walking inside a wardrobe with restricted space and no lighting at all- totally ridiculous location for such and the use of a torch was needed. on arrival a form had to be signed acknowledging that any damage caused had to be paid for. I therefore had to point out that my room had cracked window panes..and these were sitting inside rusting frames. The staff in general were unaccommodating, vague and non communicative with necessary information. I learnt that cooked eggs at breakfast had to be requested by looking at another guest's plate! On my last day breakfast was late starting and I was asked to keep out of the restaurant at the same time a guest was inside it on the previous day. All in all I wouldn't recommend.

Expedia only puts up pictures for 1 level of Junior sites with sea view but the hotel actually have 3 levels. We had a small window with a tiny sea view, after you look past the rusted sign, metal posts and littered roof top. When complained to front desk they said it’s not on them that Expedia is not properly displaying the property.

It was a great location, literally on the beach front, extremely close to other restaurants, hotels and a good range of eateries. Also clise to a taxi rank, information oint, the marina, a park for children, bus and metro (tram) stops. Those are the pros, the cons are that it is equally close to a noisy party club which goes from around 2pm in the afternoon to dome unearthly time is the morning. Fireworks at 2.39am and the racket from this club lead to many disturbed nights of sleep. No fault of the hotel, but soundproofed the windows are not as advertised. It was the only negative thing about the trip. Room was ok no coffee machine as advertised in the picture, breakfast was ok but some items need to be covered away from the flies that come for breakfast too. The cold meat, cakes, pastries and bread rolls being victims. I avoided most of these which was a shame. Luckily i had checked reviews of the hotel and knew i could order a fried or scrambled egg but no one told me this there. No staff was rude, everyone friendly and helpful. I didnt use the restaurant. Lucky i have previously read reviews about the noisy club and broght earplugs but it was still louder than expected and disturbed me

The apartment we stayed in is separate from the hotel but attached to the hotel. The walls needed cleaning from dead mosquitoes but the accommodations were nice. It has a huge balcony overlooking the beach and the waves of the Mediterranean.

The apartment was what was advertised. Great location for those that want to be by the ocean. Plenty of restaurants as well. Would be nice to let people know coffee is not provided, after first night. The nightlife around the area is very good. We really enjoyed the stay. PS The tram and bus stop are very close and getting to city center by tram was 15 minutes depending on which stop you got off at. The bus will take you to the aquarium with no transfers.

Not what I expected for the Jr. Suite

The room was okay just not what I expected from all the rooms they picture. There was damage to the room (cracked mirror, hole behind door handle, which I know they can’t immediately rectify) advance notice would have been appreciated. There was no availability for room service even with a restaurant attached to the hotel. I was not able to order at the restaurant and bring the food up to my room to enjoy while relaxed and comfortable. They give you the menu in the room with a QR code for more options which leads you to the conclusion for the availability of ordering up. They also let you know in the room you may request a free bottle of wine but it states you must go to reception to ask for it. Why not offer this at check in? Or send someone up with options as I have received in other hotels. The staff was wonderful as I made several visits to the front desk due to the phone not working (it could have been my misunderstanding but I was never able to get a dial tone). I also couldn’t figure out the shower. I did think the water was off adding to my minor irritation. I got instructions from the lovely woman at the front desk which proved to be incorrect. I was, however able to get it working (a lift, to turn on the water then a twist, for temperature control). Hot was to the right and cold to the left the opposite of all other nozzles I’ve used even here but I got it! The location was the absolute best so I made the most of it by spending my time meditating in the ocean.

The property itself was nice and spacious. What really impacted our stay was the terribly loud music from a nearby venue. Music started in late afternoon and got increasingly loud until about 3:00 a.m. Even with the storm shutters down it was impossible to sleep. Oddly, there were very few patrons at the music venue. Often the same song would be played repeatedly.
If you want to stay out all night and party, this property may be the right fit. If you expect to sleep, I would look elsewhere.

The property is rather a B&B, it has only a few rooms above the restaurant. Very poor conditions, terrible smell of sewage and mold. The front desk is a bench of the restaurant casher. We booked a bedroom with a sea view. Expedia sent us this picture alone with the confirmation. We arrived at 1.30 pm, but could not check in, because the room was ready. Still they took our passports, and completed check in. After waiting till 3 pm we got the key to discover that instead of the room with a view we had a bedroom of the size of a closet with a window to the internal staircase. We refused to take the room, but hotel charged us a no-show-up charge for the first night. I would never recommend this property and suggest to rate it as a one-star B&B. This property is not even in the list of hotels on the map of Valencia. The property was misrepresented in our reservation, and the penalty charge for the room we refused to take speaks for the place reputation itself.

Hotel in excellent location.Very good room service,room was spotless. Quite a modern hotel, big resturant downstairs. My major issue was the lack of soundproofing. I could hear noise from the corridor,upstairs and street. My room faced the back and I could hear every delivery sound,people talking and general noise. The window was not doubleglazed, it was just too thin. Bring earplugs if you want to get some kip.

Uncomfortable broken mattress. It is not firm and sinks in all the way as soon as we lay on it; hence we both got lower back pain after 2 nights of sleep there. They could also pay more attention in the detail and fix the wobbling facet, clogged sink and cracked TV. Worst of all, we received the rudest customer service from the waitress working in the restaurant during breakfast hour. We asked politely if we could get coffee and she raised her voice at us for no reasons. She definitely ruined what was meant to be a lovely start of our day. Never again at this hotel!

Property located on the beach close to the port and many restaurants. Breakfast (included) is just okay, everyday same food. Disappointed with the room, a very tiny window that didn’t get any light inside. The first day was no hot water and parking is hard to find during the day. (Public Parking on the street) I requested to change the dark room with no windows, no working phone, the safe needs the key from reception and I was told that this Is the room that I have chosen on Expedia site.... I was very close to call Expedia to find me a different hotel after we had no hot water in the day we have arrived and the entire next day until evening. After that was okay.

Beware that the pictures on Hotels.com and Expedia are not what you get. Also on their website it says that ALL the rooms have seaviews. Absolutely not. The most claustrophobic room ever with tiny windows overlooking a small yard with no light. There's no way to contact them in advance as the email on their website is wrong. If you need anything in advance just call them.
The room was big and clean, breakfast was very simple and staff rude. Make sure you arrive before 10 otherwise the waitress will give you a lecture that breakfast finishes at half ten and you can't sit there afterwards as she needs to set up for their very expensive lunch.
The location is amazing,but you can stay 3 doors down the promenade in a friendly place called Sol Playa where the view is amazing and staff is not rude.
This is a well overpriced and fake advertised place, very disappointing.
The only person who was absolutely amazing and a gem to the place is Maria at the reception.

Loved this hotel! Right on the main stone boardwalk. Beach access from hotel. Lots of restaurants and little stores nearby. Room was clean and comfortable. I felt very pampered when the hotel had complimentary fresh fruit juice delivered to my room! Good A/C. Wonderful front desk staff. Very good morning buffet included for a moderate cost. Would definitely book here again.

The shower was just hot water and it only flowed when she wanted it. In the morning I had no water at all. I had a double room but \"no window\", that is, it was in an inner courtyard and practically you had to sit with the light on.
The bed quite comfortable.

Better than expected. Room was very spacious, modern and clean and smelt lovely every day after cleaning. The staff were a credit to this hotel, always friendly and extremely helpful – nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was adequate – coffee superb! Do eat in the restaurant – great quality food at a good price. Do hire the hotels bikes out and head out – easy to ride and great bike pathways – we did and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Easy to get to from the airport – Metro line 5 and then connect with the 8 tram – drops you across the road – approx. E4.50 each. Would definitely return.

No windows to a double room

The location is excellent and the breakfast was great. The price I paid was also not expensive. I have no complaints here.

When I made the booking I could not imagine that a 3 star hotel could rent rooms without windows. That was the greatest shock. The room was impossible to sleep in without fresh air and natural light. Completely skewed our Valencia experience.

The staff was unable to change our room and told us that we should have booked a Junior Suite. Yes, sure, if only I knew that the room I booked had no windows!?!

Please check before booking. \"No views\" actually means \"No windows\" in their book.

Location was very good if you want to access the beach and relax by the ocean. Finding parking was a challenge and you have to use the pay-parking (10 Euro a day). Not far from the city center if you want to go and explore the city. Recently renovated hotel with good staff and service. You will leave with a good experience for the money.

Great hotel. Staff were very friendly and receptionist spoke good English. Seafront location was amazing. Previous reviews had said breakfast was poor but we thougt breakfast was ok. Any food that ran out they happily replaced. If we had one fault it would be their attention to detail in the room - rooms could have been cleaner and they need to check out fitting as somewhere broken or wearing out in the room. All this said we would definitely visit again. Loved it.

Arrived on a very sunny and warm Sunday morning when all local parking full. Do not use the underground car park it is very very expensive. If it is hot avoid room 101 in full sun. Windows do not open and air conditioning cannot cope, we changed to an inside room 103 much better. Breakfast excellent overlooking the fabulous beach. Nice hotel.

Good hotel, BUT.....

Overall it is a great hotel right on beach front. Staff is great and upkeep is excellent. Buffet breakfast is pretty basic but good with excellent coffee, occasionally they needed a little prompt with replenishing.
Our only/major issue was that the standard room we have booked was very very dark due to the window facing inside the building. If you'd imagine not having the window at all you'd get more or less correct idea. Due to this, there was absolutely no flow of fresh air despite hotel being located right on the sea front. It being mid April we had to use air conditioning for most of the time as without room felt pretty stuffy. Seeing funny side of things, you get absolutely no idea what is the weather like outside ( mid April, weather changed everyday), so few times we had to return to the room to change. I had to check weather on the mobile phone before leaving the room to dress appropriately. Other then that the room itself was perfectly fine, spacious and always kept spotlessly clean. I would happily return to this hotel only if I did not have to stay in one of their many inside facing rooms.

Room was a standard (Internal) room, which did not have a window with a view, but there were windows opening on to the 'well' in the middle of the building, which gave some natural light. However, there was a security light in the room, which kept us awake. Also, there were not individual bed-side lights, which meant they were either 'on' or 'off', making it impossible for one of us to read whilst the other slept. Apart from these irritations, the hotel was excellent.

Great Hotel with a touch of Class

Our visit was a birthday treat which included the Moto GP @ Curcuit Valencia. Our stay was for 7 days & Nights. We had b'fast, dinner, tapas & some beautiful wine each day. The view, promenade, beach, Mediterranean Sea and weather are the best of the best. The staff & family run business cannot make a stay any better & we will be back again next year. 2016. Can't wait...

Great Beach Hotel

Nice small hotel right on the beach. The restaurant serves great food and seemed to be one of the most popular along the promenade. The only downside we found is that there is no lounge/comfortable area to sit other than in the restaurant/bar. We had one of the internal rooms with no view/limited natural light so would have liked somewhere to sit/relax/read. This did not affect our enjoyment as we spent most of our time on the beach but may be a consideration for some travellers

THE HOTEL in Valencia

Another great week in Valencia, staying at an excellent hotel. If you like the beach, this is THE place to stay just a one minute walk to the Mediterranean sea, with several great restaurants on the same street. Conveniently located within a five minute walk from the metro-station in case one want's to go to the center of the city. If I ever go back to Valencia again, I'll definitely stay in The Coso Hotel.

Great value, great location

The location is perfect as far as being right on a busy beach with a number of different restaurants. It's also super easy to get to by bus or street car. The crowd is definitely more of a college spring break group, though. Hotel was much nicer than expected - although some rooms on the inside simply look out into a super small courtyard.

Beautiful Hotel on the Beach

We enjoyed our stay at El Coso. The room was better than the pictures and also larger. The staff was great, especially with our early check in. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Good location by beach , but not lots of choice for bars and restaurants nearby , bit of journey into centre. Hotel clean, good rooms but a little dark as only a window into a light well. Nice breakfast , local birds like to drop in too!!

The location was superb and the reception staff were good.
The room was a little awkward with no natural light as the window was small.
The bedding was not very comfortable.
The breakfast was rather limited in choice. The dinner was relatively expensive and not of good standard.

Great hotel, right on the beach.

Late Feb 2015 short stay so pleased to find sunshine and some quiet time. We were upgraded to superior room which was lovely. Spacious, cosy and a perfect view through the palm trees and across the sand to the water. Not all restaurants were open but we knew that and wasn't an issue for us.

Our stay at El Coso hotel.

Lovely hotel,perfect location on the beach,but you have to book a suite.
Excellent transportation from the airport.No.5 metro to the end of the line,then across the platform for the tram to the beach.
Lovely breakfast but only if you like continental.Breakfast restaurant amazing for the views.

Boutique hôtel right on beach

Extremely comfortable and great location for beach holiday. Lots of transport options for getting to city centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Good classy restaurant. I highly recommend junior suite with sea view. Worth the extra expense.

Ease in parking a car without paying.

Reception very helpful. Has a good restaurant. Very close to secure parking which we used to leave our car for a week while we were away on a cruise. Hotel recommended to use it. Then just paid for a taxi to and from the port.

A great place to stay in Valencia

Well I wanted a nice hotel to stay that was close to the beach and I have to say this was a great choice. While the hotel is some distance away from most places of interest in Valencia, there's a a taxi stand right around the corner as well as being a few minutes away from the Bus and Metro station. Being only a minute walk away from the beach makes it even better. Overall I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Valencia, the staff are friendly and well mannered and the housekeepers did a great job in maintaining the room nice and neat.

Enjoyable stay.

Spent a very enjoyable week in Valencia. Stayed in Hotel El Coso. Found staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was very comfertable.Breakfast fairly basic but ok. Restaurant in hotel very good.Convenient for city as very close to metro stop, yet situated at the beach.Would recommend and would stay there again.

Nice Hotel for a good price

The hotel was very nice. My wife and I really liked it. The view from our room was amazing as it overlooked the beach. The only complaint we had was that the bathroom smelled. It was clean but smelled. I would stay there again.
