This family-friendly apartment hotel is located in the city centre, in the heart of a new residential area. It is right in front of the town hall for the 8th district of Lyon (the second largest city in France, after Paris).
It is also close to the main hospitals, the universities and several theatres and cultural centres. The tram takes guests right into the heart of Lyon Presqu'ïle.
Lyon Saint-Exupéry International Airport is approx. 20 km from the hotel.
Opened in 2005, the residence provides 115 air-conditioned apartments spread over 4 storeys, offering a friendly, functional space for working, eating and relaxing. It offers a wide range of amenities, including an entrance hall, lift access, a breakfast room, Internet access and, for a fee, car park/garage access.
Each of the 115 apartments includes a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with electric hobs, mini fridge, microwave and dishes, as well as a direct dial telephone and free high-speed Internet access. Each unit also comes with satellite/cable TV and individually adjustable air conditioning.

From the northern ring road (Périphérique Nord), take the exit for Lyon Mermoz Nord, then drive straight on. From the southern ring road (Périphérique Sud), exit at Mermoz.

Amazing receptionist who stayed open late for us to check in after the train sabotage around Paris. Super helpful staff and a comfy, well equipped apartment - perfect for the family. Easy to access public transport and quiet, safe area close to all the main transport hubs and the Olympics.

Decent for the area, but not too close to centre
The staff at the reception was friendly and professional. They had a lobby for breakfast if desired. The room was spacious, basic/simple. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was quite small that lacked counter space for prepping meals. Luckily, the A/C was available, but the coldest was not so cold to keep comfortable at night. They had utensils to cook. We had to take out our own trash and clean up the kitchen after we left to avoid 30 Euro fee. Towels were not changed out unless you stay there for more than 4 days. Location was about 10 min walk to the Bachutt tram line which had Casino grocery next to it.

The hotel staff created a guest guidebook to Lyon, that lists all the hotel amenities, how to use the air conditioning, heating, laundry, it even lists all the 100+ TV channels. It also lists all the local restaurants, groceries, cafes, parks, public transit, shopping centers, etc. It's much better than the info on Lyon in a standard travel guide. It was really helpful and must have taken a lot of time to put together. Thank you!

Although it is not located directly in the downtown area, the overall location is great. You have on walking distance: Tram and subway station, bakery, groceries, etc... The room was super comfy, fully equipped and quiet. Definitely would stay here again.

The hotel is ok and very convenient for the private hospital (literally opposite). Not much else in the area. Minimal facilities in the room, limited toiletries.

Good place to stay if you don't mind travelling
We stayed at this hotel for a conference. There aren't many things nearby restaurants or attractions. The nearest metro stations are about 15 mins away if you walk. There are a grocery store and prepared food place nearby that will allow you to utilize the kitchenette in your room. However, the hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful. They have a daily breakfast, but it's probably not worth the 7.70 euro they charge- you're better off making you own.

The rooms were much too small - it would have benefited from having walls and doors removed.The kitchen was very basic, without an electric jug, and the cooktop was ancient. A long way from town, although the tram was about a 15 minute walk away and tram service was very good.

I fair distance out of the centre of lyon, 20mins walk from nearest metro station grange blanche, 10min walk to tram buchet. Staff ok but not the best i have encountered (except for one girl who was very good). From the address given a little hard to find this location. and price to high for the location and the quality of this hotel.

Good value for money
In a quiet location near Jean Mermoz Hospital on the east side of Lyon. 10 minutes walk to nearest tram/metro stations.
We stayed in a 1 bedroomed appartment which had a double bed in one room and bed settee/desk/cooking area in the other. Cooking area included a microwave oven, 2 electric rings a fridge and adequate crockery. Very clean and a generous supply of towels/shower gel throughout the week! Perhaps a little small for 4 people staying for a long period but was fine for us.

We stayed in a 1 bedroomed appartment which had a double bed in one room and bed settee/desk/cooking area in the other. Cooking area included a microwave oven, 2 electric rings a fridge and adequate crockery. Very clean and a generous supply of towels/shower gel throughout the week! Perhaps a little small for 4 people staying for a long period but was fine for us.

Nous avons choisi cet hébergement sur des critères de propretés et nous avons été plus que déçus! L’alaise du lit n’est ni changée entre les clients ni même nettoyée. Nous avons retrouvé toutes sortes de saletés , des cheveux, des poils… le problème a continué dans la douche et sur le rebord de l’évier avec encore une fois des poils partout. De plus il y avait d’énorme toiles d’araignées aux coins du plafond. Bref, ça ne vaut clairement pas le prix.

Bra o behjälplig personal! Helt ok frukost o pris för detta(tillkommer). Bra avstånd till stan och lätt att ta sig med både buss(nära hotellet) och tunnelbana(8 min promenad till stationen. Rekommenderar dock att bo närmare stan om man reser privat. Själv skulle jag till St Prieste som ligger i närheten för jobb.

Appart hôtel vieillot et d'une saleté inacceptable, surtout en cette période. On m'a donné un premier studio que j'ai de suite demandé à changer car il y avait une grande auréole jaune dans le lit, sur le drap du bas au niveau des fesses! La chasse, ne fonctionnait pas, elle était cassée. La personne à l'accueil était désolée et très agréable. Mais elle m'a donné un autre studio où en apparence tout allait à peu près bien, à part les murs sales et les étagères du placard à linge dégoûtant. Mais au fil des heures j'ai découvert l'état de saleté des lieux! Interrupteurs gris de saleté, WC à peine nettoyés, coulures de dentifrice sur le meuble de la salle de bain, sol sale, téléphone collant et tâché, table de nuit avec des trucs collés...etc, etc, etc! J'ai passé 1h à nettoyer avec des lingettes et du gel hydroalcoolique. C'est vraiment inadmissible, surtout au prix de 100€ la nuit et se disant 3 étoiles. Pour finir, cet établissement accueille des locataires qui semblent habiter là et qui sont extrêmement bruyants, nuit et jour. Bref, l'enfer!

Pas de petit déjeuner même en sac individuel à cause du Covid et MANQUE DE PERSONNEL alors que temps de personne sont sans travail et en grande difficulté . En plus nous devons vider les poubelles et les porter au local poubelle où allons nous au prix de la chambre car le prix reste le même bien sûr . Il faudra bientôt faire notre lit et la salle de bain 😡 ils ont de la chance d être en face de l hôpital mermoz c est le seul atout 😩

Nous sommes arrivés dans la chambre une odeur de cigarette. Dans la salle de bain juste un petit savon, pas de gel douche ni shampoing. La vaisselle sale, trace de café et de boissons dans les bols et mug. Mauvaise expérience, c'est la troisième fois que nous réservions dans cet hôtel et ce sera la dernière je pense.
