Absolutely loved our stay here - we only had a short stay but loved the spacious apartment, very comfy bed and ample pillows, good sized bathroom, quiet, clean and modern room. Friendly staff. We were happy with the location - close to public transport or walkable to centre of everything. Had kitchenette facilities but we weren’t really there long enough to use them. Would definitely stay again

My only MINOR criticism is that, like most hotels, my room didn't have any unused power outlets around the bed or table for charging (or any USB charging ports). It was my first stay with this chain and I'll happily use them again elsewhere.

This was a nice clean modern hotel but the location wasn't great for us. Not knowing the city of Lyon we were not sure where to stay. After visiting the city we would have preferred to stay closer to Old Lyon but this place was only a few blocks from the metro and their metro system was easy to get around on. The small but adequate kitchen set up was nice to have and great for a change of having to eat out every meal. We were there for the World Cup games.Air conditioning was OK, but not great which wasn't fun during a record breaking heat wave.

The rooms were a bit spartan, beds were hard, and the bathrooms small, but everything worked and having the small hot plate and fridge was a huge help in keeping us from having to eat out every meal. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro and in a kind of industrial area. From the outside it looks like a non-descript industrial building - so don't go there looking for beautiful surroundings. It was a good place for our family of 5 to get to the World Cup games, but did not spend any time in/around the hotel.

Had a lovely stay at this accommodation. I was a bit worried as my room was right by the lift and there were signs up telling people to be quiet, but I didn't hear a thing either night I stayed.

A good option at a decent price
Excellent front of house staff. Rooms are new and well-appointed. They are spacious and a bit funky looking. It's a very IKEA look which simple, comfortable and functional, however some aspects of the bathroom were not great. The position of the towel rail and the toilet roll holder meant sitting on the loo was not comfortable, I had to sit at an angle and leaning forward. I didn't know it had a fitness room but it is very basic. A few cardio machines and some dumbells in a very pokey room. Breakfast is well supplied but the terrasse where it is served is, again, a bit pokey. The location is pretty good, a quick tram ride to the centre of town and nearby there are shops and services you may need.

Lyon staycty - good value for money.
We had an excellent stay in Lyon. We like the apart hotels as we can cook our own food while we travel and save a little money. They seem to be reasonably priced throughout France and offer good value for money. Our room in Lyon had a balcony which was nice as the weather was nice. Would recommend this location.

The pictures are very deceiving....the apartments are much smaller then pictured on the website. These apartments are a notch higher then a hostel. First thing i noticed when I walked in was how filthy the room was. I swept the floor with the broom provided and I had a pile of dirt, obviously they don’t put enough effort into cleaning after someone checks out. The bathroom was the same way. Thank god for the grocery store down the street, I was able to buy some bleach products and clean the room....something I would have never expected I would have to do on vacation. Cleaning services during my stay were not provided...I would have thought at least fresh towels but didn’t get that either. I came back to our room with dirty towels still on the floor.

This is a bare bones type. Hotel. Everything you could ever want is in your large room but nothing fancy. It was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Restaurants in the area. We ate at an Italian restaurant, right around the corner that was exceptionally good. The room was equipped with a kitichenette. Furniture was IKEA type. I would definitely stay here again. Price was right.

Was a nice find, a little out of the main part of the city but walkable. Not much around there in the way of eating choices, especially for breakfast but we were there over the Easter weekend so the places were booked up.
Only downside was the parking, the hotel parking was tiny so our car could not fit which meant driving around looking for off-street parking which was impossible over the Easter weekend. Fortunately the hotel staff assisted with a solution and we eventually found a car space. But it meant we were reluctant to move the car or use it while we were there.

We initially got a room that smelled like cigarettes but the front desk was quick to respond by assigning us to another room. We found the next room very clean & comfortable. The staff were friendly in responding to our questions about the bus & metro.

The staff was excellent and attended to our needs promptly and efficiently. The boxed breakfast was expensive, and we learned after we had paid for a week of breakfasts in advance that we could have walked across the street to a local bakery and gotten the same food for much less. The hotel was quiet and pleasant, but the neighborhood was not convenient to shops, restaurants, and the main tourist areas near the rivers. We walked & walked before we could find a restaurant open! All in all, we enjoyed our stay but would have preferred a better location.

My wife and I were in Lyon with our 23year old daughter to visit our son who is at university in Lyon. We needed a seperate bedroom for my daughter as she sleeps in , and Dad likes to get up early and potter about. Staycity was ideal and for less than £100 a night we thought it was very good value. Very clean accomodation with a good shower. The kitchenette is also very useful even though we did eat out for the 5 nights we were there. There is a bakery just round the corner to pick up fresh breakfast, and there is also a supermarket 5 minutes walk away. In short, a great location!!
