Rooms were larger than others we stayed at in Europe. Room was clean, staff was friendly and it was located in what felt like a quiet safe neighborhood.

If you’re looking to spend lots of time in Old Lyon or City Center you’d be better off choosing a hotel closer to that area.

When we arrived, we entered into an air-conditioned lobby. This was a big relief, as it was incredibly hot outside. Unfortunately, once we got to our room, we found out that supposedly the air conditioning was broken. When we asked what was wrong with the air-conditioning, we were told that a technician might be fixing it in a few days, but they didn’t really know. There was also only a single luggage cart with a broken wheel. They had no other luggage card, and when we brought the broken wheel to their attention, they said a technician might get around to fixing it. Thus, we had two nights in an incredibly hot room, and the staff didn’t seem to really know how to make things much better. The cleaning lady, however, was absolutely fantastic.

A few days in Lyon

I thought this perfectly adequate, more than that if I’m honest. Okay, it’s not in the city centre but it’s easy to navigate to from either Perrache or Part Dieu. There’s an Italian restaurant a minute’ walk with other options a 5 minute walk including Columbus for coffee. There’s also a Picard close by as well as many VeloV stations if you wanted to take a bike. Cyclists do seem to be respected and feels less dangerous than in the U.K.. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who in particular didn’t want a city centre hotel or even maybe those whose budgets don’t extend to that, this is absolutely perfect!!

Luckily, I got my room!

Mixed feeling. It was a crisis day (all trains were cancelled due to the tempest). I was happy to book it through Hotel.com but it appears that my room was also booked in parallel by phone... Finally, after 30' waiting I got the room (which is great) but in the discussion I felt like a bit guilty to have booked online. To summarize, nice hotel, lucky to have had a room but the welcoming in this crisis context was a bit akward.

Murs sales, abîmés, idem pour le mobilier.
Cuisine sale (projections sur la crédence), réfrigérateur, banc avec miettes...
Dommage car le lieu a du potentiel !

Very clean, comfortable, spacious, new. Closer to the center of town than it appears from maps. 10 minute walk to Metro, 5 minutes to bus and bakery. Only drawback is that there is nothing less than a 5 minute walk away. Highly reommended...

The only good thing about the property is the suites can fit a lot of people. And the price is reasonable.
But, the AC doesn't work. They moved us, and then wanted us toove a 3rd time to a different building when the 2nd room was too hot. Now, they'll tell you the room was cold by their standards, but if you're an American going from 90 degrees outside to 79 degrees inside is not functioning AC.
They also charged my credit card twice. (The refunded the 2nd charge but this was after I told them I already paid and they insisted on taking my card again)
The biggest issue is that the property doesn't care about the customer complaint
They didn't understand why I didn't want to move rooms AGAIN. And they kept insisting I didn't deserve a discount because they provided 'good' service. The staff at the desk sucked. One girl literally tried to gaslight me into believing the broken AC was all in my head.
She kept saying 'no one else has this issue', 'I was in the room and it was working fine', treating me like I was crazy or a nuisance.... However there are a whole bunch of reviews on the property saying what I'm saying. I wish I read them before booking and I never would've picked this property.
They did give me a small refund for the first room, but only after heated arguments back and forth.
10/10 would NOT recommend

I booked this hotel because they pride themselves taking cleaniness and covid-19 safety measures seriously. Despite what was advertised, there is no 24 hour vacancy between each occupant, and several people of the cleaninf staff were not wearing masks while working.

Property is 5 minutes from metro which was convenient. There is nothing around this property. Our room phone didn't work which made it hard to call for an iron which the room didn't have. They did not provide the wifi upon check-in and when we went to ask for it in the morning there was no front desk for over an hour. Room is convenient and suitable for our family of four. Breakfast appeared to be free but no one told us about it and wasn't in the paperwork.

We had booked an overnight stay at the Quality Suites on our way to the south of France. We have three young kids so driving straight through was not an option. We arrived very late (after calling in advance to notify the hotel we would arrive around midnight) When we arrived the man at the front desk seemed confused. He was fumbling around with the computer and after about 20 minutes informed us that the key card system wasn’t working and he couldn’t activate a key card for our room. What now? He attempted to use a master card to get us into a room but that didn’t work either. Here we were at 1am with three kids and NO hotel room.... he came up with an idea to take us next door to a lesser quality hotel room, which we immediately refused after realizing it was nothing more than a dirty apartment building and not consistent with the room we booked. At this point, we told him we were leaving to find another hotel. Fast forward, we found another hotel but we’re required to book two rooms at twice the costs. (originally we had booked a family room) Needless to say, we won’t be back to the Quality Suites Lyon not will we be recommending them to anyone. And an extra special shout out to Expedia for offering us a $50 voucher for future use... completely unacceptable!

Hotel itself was nice, the staff were superb! As good a front desk service as I’ve had. Neighbourhood not so good, but an amazing little array of live cooking kitchens literally 2 minutes walk.
Only real downside was the Wi-Fi. Abysmal. Visited the front desk 3 times because I couldn’t log on. Even when they logged in for me I was barely connected.
If you need Wi-Fi, don’t stay here. If you don’t, it’s a lovely hotel.

Wonderful staff, very helpful and friendly. Location close to metro. Hallway smelled like somebody's cooking gone wrong, and the smell lingered for days. Rooms smell a little molded and could benefit from airing out. Breakfast selections few.

The staff is friendly and helpful to the utmost and will do everything they can do (except for what I believe are roadblocks by penny-wise pound foolish management.

Let me be specific. Housekeeping is great, the rooms are totally clean. But they are allowing wear and tear to lower the quality. For example, there was no tv remote in the room when I got there. I asked for one. I was told they'd ask the engineer, but those things are expensive. Never got one. Also the kitchenware is lacking. There are only dull butter type knives with nothing that was actually sharp. They said it was not something they were providing. Granted they did find me a small teaspoon with which to stir my tea and eat my yogurt, as there were only a couple of large soupspoons. The cooktop was so worn, that part of the controls were no longer visible, so I couldn't turn it on.

The beds were only marginally comfortable.

There was no documentation at all in the room about the hotel, its services or how to use anything.

Somebody from Choice Hotels ought to stay there undercover and inspect.

Very nice staff helpful and nice, multilangual, they like the kids, some even offered few gifts to my son.
Excellent value for monrey. Clean, confortable beds daily room service.
Very spacious family rooms compared to most hotels and hotel apartments. Large wardrobes.
It would have been perfect if the kitchinette was more equipped.
The small disadvantage is the location: 10 mn walk to see the first supermarket, commercial shops and Meteo station.
But i would definitively come again.

Great value for this place in Lyon. It is not super close to where you want to site see, but the price does reflect where you are staying. The room is clean and spacious. Beds are good. Wifi is just okay. We did not have the breakfast, but there is a grocery store near by and each apartment has a small kitchenette.
I would definitely say that if you are looking to budget your trip, this place would be a good place.

Never did find the \"Quality\" part of this Inn...

When checking in, we waited for nearly 20 minutes for someone to show-up; the desk agent was all alone and required to clean rooms, etc. When we finally entered the room, it was not cleaned from the last occupant so we waited another hour for a room. The rooms were okay. The fitness room was horrible and the items tossed about/broken. The 11 Euro breakfast was NOT worth it, venture down the road for breakfast! When we were leaving, we again had to wait for a desk agent; this one was sleeping off a hangover per the room maids.

OK hotel, not in a very nice neighbourhood.

The suite was nice, and breakfast was just OK.
The hotel is understaffed, and there is just one person working at the reception at the time, so there are long queues for anything you might need, and nobody to bring you e.g. an iron to your room. There was no hot water one morning, and they did not seem to care much. The internet was very slow and one constantly needs to re-login, and finally - the neighbourhood does not feel very safe. It is basically a dark construction site, with not many passengers on the streets, and some random people hanging out at the street corners. I ended up calling an uber from the nearest tram station to the hotel just to avoid walking the street to the hotel. I would not stay there again.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel in occasione del mio compleanno. La struttura si trova in una zona periferica di Lione, ma il centro è raggiungibile in circa 20 minuti grazie ai mezzi pubblici: metro, tram e bus si trovano a soli 5 minuti a piedi, mentre il supermercato più vicino (Auchan) dista circa 8 minuti.

Abbiamo scelto il monolocale superior: l’arredamento era molto piacevole e abbiamo trovato utile la presenza della cucina e del bollitore durante il nostro soggiorno. Purtroppo, però, la mia esperienza non è stata delle migliori. Poco dopo il nostro arrivo, la seconda luce del bagno ha smesso di funzionare e mi sono ritrovata costretta a truccarmi quasi al buio. Inoltre, il giorno successivo, al rientro in camera abbiamo trovato l’asta della doccia crollata. Abbiamo segnalato tutto alla reception, ma il personale si è limitato a dirci che, prima di lunedì (giorno della nostra partenza), non sarebbe stato possibile intervenire. Ho trovato questo atteggiamento poco corretto, soprattutto perché non è sembrata esserci alcuna reale intenzione di trovare una soluzione.
Aggiungo che, avendo viaggiato spesso per il mio compleanno, in altre strutture a quattro stelle ho sempre trovato almeno un biglietto di auguri o un piccolo omaggio in camera, gesto semplice ma molto apprezzato. Capisco che si tratta di un hotel economico ma manca completamente di attenzione al cliente.

La recepcionista un poco desagradable. Ya que al llegar, estaba atendiendo a una persona y una pareja esperando, saludó, una vez le toco a la siguiente pareja, entraron otros y sin mas les saludo y les preguto si querian parking. ¿Dicha persona, no me pregunto si queria parking, cuando lo normal siendo fuera de españa venga en coche o coche de alquiler? Despues me mando a aparcar el coche primero e atendio a los que estaban detras mio una vez aparque el coche. Por lo que tuve que esperar.

Évitez les chambres au 1er étage. Les rues environnantes sont bruyantes tôt me matin.
Mais la chambre est très bien, très grande et équipée d’un frigo, cuisinière… L’hôtel est situé à proximité du Rhône, parfait pour aller s’y balader. Bouche de métro accessibilité à la marche.

Si le veilleur de nuit avait pu ouvrir la porte comme il se doit, même tôt le matin afin de m'éviter d'attendre dehors pendant 1h, je pense que le séjour aurait été très confortable... Le badge ne fonctionnait pas pour ouvrir la porte d'entrée de l'hôtel fermée la nuit.
Aucune réponse au numéro de téléphone affiché en cas de problème.
C'est dommage!

O quarto precisa de algumas melhorias e alguns dos funcionários poderiam ser mais simpáticos e prestativos.

Très beau séjour de 3 jours et bon accueil.
Studio agréable calme et propre.
Cuisine minimale mais fonctionnelle.
Métro Jean Jaurès à moins de 10 minutes.

Q7 se situe dans un relativement nouveau quartier. Très tranquille. Ligne d'autobus à proximité, Métro (jean-jaurès) à 10 minutes à pied. Épicerie à la même distance de marche. Le personnel est courtois, mais distant. Appart très propre. La cuisine est peu équipée. J'aurais préféré avoir la télévision dans le salon plutôt que dans la chambre. Comme j'étais au rez-de-chaussé, l'appart était assez sombre.
