The air conditioning was near impossible to get to work. The dial just rotated and the temperature would do what it wanted. The bed side light did not work and the hand wash was not restocked. There was a loose socket in the corridor with visible wires. I found dirty cutlery and plates in the racks at breakfast and cereal was not restocked. It’s the second time I have been bitten by a spider at a hotel b&b. Location was great and it would not put me off visiting another hotel b&b.

Relatively good location in terms of public transportation. Friendly at check in. Poor room service. Sometimes paper cups and sometimes not. Same with toilet paper and towels and once cleaning product left on n bathroom. Had a triple room that was stuffy. Had to open the window at night but quiet streets.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the Perrache train station and the city center. We chose it because of the affordable price and the proximity to the river cruise dock, Quai Claude Bernard. The breakfast was good. Room amenities are basic. The hotel is quiet and has an elevator. There is a TV with news in the dining area. Staff were mostly helpful.

the guy at reception let us drop our bags earlier and we went back a couple of hours later and checked in, not the friendliest but ok, we could use the hot water in the coffee machine to cups of tea but we didn’t want breakfast as we ate out every day. Beds were comfy, shower was good, only issue I’d say is turn your heating down a bit in the breakfast area, it’s far too hot, you are eco friendly with the signs saying save water etc but then the heating is way higher than it needs to be. Loved my stay here so would stay here again

Well located, very easy to walk around. The rooms were clean and small. The most anoying thing on the room was the door closer in the bathroom, I don't understand why having one there and it was hard. I also liked the breakfast.

This also was the only hotel during my trip to France that charged my extra for leaving the call a few hours extra.

I left the room the following morning after I arrived . I specifically left the sign , do not disturb . on the door . When I came back around 3.30 pm , the TV and air con were tunned off and my bag was opened . Nothing was missing , obviously they were looking for cash . I reported to the reception staff menber . I havent heard anything since.

We were unable to check in at check in time because they did not have our room ready for us. We had to wait half an hour, ended up getting into our room around 3 and were late for our evening activity. Other people behind us in line got rooms before we did. I would also like to add that we stopped by in the early morning to drop off our bags and were told that the room would be ready at 2.

When we went to check out, no one was there. We waited a few minutes but still no one came.

Nice place, with very firm beds

The hotel is very nice and seems new. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was good with many options and the hotel was clean, with a nice seating area in the lobby. My only complaint was the firmness of the beds - I tried both beds in our room and they were the hardest beds I have ever slept on. We stayed at other hotels in Paris and London after this and the beds were much more comfortable.

The location is really convenient for the bus/train station and walkable into town. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby. This hotel is in the student District and is in a very quiet neighborhood but has some lovely Places to eat and drink very nearby. There are two tram stops not very far from the hotel. Staff are are very polite and helpful. It is a pleasant walk into the heart of the city, There are plentiful supermarkets nearby.

The only drawbacks to this hotel are that a kettle and mugs are not provided in your room for the convenience of having a hot drink in the morning, Should you choose to not eat the hotel breakfast

Also, Although the room itself was very clean as was the bathroom, This has to be one of the dustiest rooms, I've ever stayed in - Not sure why that is?

As an asthma sufferer I found that turning the air-con off and and keeping the window open helped Keep the room cool without agitating the dust. The only drawback was that this then invited mosquitoes in at night...

There was no guard for the shower, so the water spilt onto the floor - it would help the hotel if they redesigned the shower so that
It has a door which covers the whole of the shower enclosure So that you don't need to use a towel to mop up the spill.

We didn’t like this hotel. Starting with Parking, which was very tight and getting the garage door open was a challenge. The common areas of the garage area smelled like dead rats. Hotel staff were cold and not so friendly. The after hours staff would walk around barefoot, and when I asked for an extra pillow, it seemed I was bothering him.
The room was so small, and it was very difficult store and accessing our luggage.
Location was good, and walking distance to everything.

This hotel is fine. There’s a bed in a room and that’s about it, so it does the trick if you’re just looking to sleep somewhere. The rooms are tiny and there’s no storage or place to unpack your things, there’s no soap or shampoo provided, the bed is incredibly small (I am 5’9 and 145 lbs and my feet hung off the bottoms) and there’s little to no natural light. This definitely seemed more like a hostel and not a hotel. I would only recommend staying here as a last resort.

Positive: the bed is comfortable.
Negative: the service was awful and their staff was incompetent. We stayed there for two nights, the first room had no toilet paper at all, when reported to the receptionist, his response was, 'so?'. Next day morning, when one of us was in the toilet, the room had suddenly no lights; the other receptionist insisted that because we plugged our phone chargers in (EXCUSE ME?!). We've travelled extensively around the world, this hotel was the first one which I've been told that I can't charge my phone in my room. After a painful and awkward 'discussion' with her, she agreed to change the room for us. The second room had no electricity or toilet paper issues, instead, the shower towels smelled terrible, and even turned the heater to the maximum volume, the room was not that warm.

I barely gave comments, no mention negative comments to any hotels I stayed in, but for this one, I won’t return or recommend it.

Decent Budget Hotel

Hotel was new and room was spacious and clean. Booked 4 rooms, all the rooms AC was not working, in the end all 4 rooms had to open the windows to let the cool air into the room. Didn’t know it was a budget hotel with with toilet paper and towels in the bathroom provided. Common items provided in other hotels were not included in this hotel, eg water boiler, water bottles, coffee, tooth brush, hair dryer. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I had a great experience while staying at B&B Lyon Centre Perrache. I arrived to the hotel at 10:30pm, the check-in was very fast. Room was basic, but this is exactly what I was looking for, a clean and safe place to stay for 2 days. The hotel is extremely clean, the hotel personnel is very attentive, specially the guys that work there at night (one of them works in the day hours). The hotel is about 3 blocks away from the Perrache SNCF station/bus station, area is very safe even in the late hours. My son and I were very hungry upon arrival and because it was past 2300 most establishments were closed. We ended up walking many blocks to find a place to eat, we ended up eating at McDonalds, as it was the only place that was open.
Hotel is very secure at all times, in the late hours, the lobby must be accessed with a special code they give you, which also happens to be the code to your room. Internet is fast. TV, no selection of channels in English, but this was not a problem, as the internet is fast and you can watch anything you want online. I know they offer breakfast but did not take advantage of this option. From this hotel, one can walk to virtually most places in the city including all the restaurants in Merceire Street. Again, we felt very safe even walking in the late hours in the city of Lyon.
I was so happy with my stay at this hotel, that I am now staying at another B & B Hotel in Milan.

Mucho cuidado! Nula seguridad y pésima atención

Elegimos este hotel específicamente porque se anuncia con estacionamiento y en buena ubicación. Pero fue un desastre absoluto.

Al hacer el check-in, preguntamos dónde podíamos estacionarnos. El recepcionista nos indicó que estaba bien hacerlo en la calle, enfrente del hotel. Al ver que el edificio contaba con cámaras de videovigilancia y confiando en su criterio como empleado del hotel, que nos aseguró que era una zona \"segura\" aceptamos su indicación.

Después entendimos la verdadera razón: el estacionamiento del hotel estaba lleno. En lugar de ser honestos o buscar una solución para un servicio que promocionan, optaron por desviarnos a la calle.

Después de cenar, encontramos el cristal de la ventana roto y todas nuestras maletas con todas nuestras pertenencias robadas.

Devastados, pedimos ayuda en recepción. El empleado se NEGÓ a llamar a la policía, argumentando que debíamos hacerlo nosotros mismos. Al ser turistas extranjeros sin línea local, le suplicamos que nos permitiera usar el teléfono con cargo para llamar a la policía y a nuestra agencia de alquiler. También se NEGÓ rotundamente, sugiriendo que fuéramos a una estación de policía que estuviera abierta un domingo por la noche.

Cuando preguntamos por las cámaras de videovigilancia, nos informaron que no tenían forma de ayudarnos, dejando en evidencia que la seguridad que creímos tener era inexistente.

NO RECOMIENDO ESTE HOTEL A NADIE!
