Lovely complex.

Nice rooms, small enough but all you need. Had a nice one with direct access to the pool from the balcony. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. Lovely pools and entertainment was grand. Location was great. Parking on site was a few euro per day but no spaces when we checked in so I parked on the road nearby. No problem getting a space nearby for the rest of the stay. Activities on site were great (tennis, crazy golf, football pitch, volleyball, basketball) all included. The high ropes were not working at the time of the stay. Food in the restaurant was really nice and high quality but a couple of times the grilled chicken was not fully cooked. I think the chefs cooking in front of people queueing made them feel they needed to serve it too early. Snack bars were dotted around and good too. Drinks were good. Only down side was the cockroaches. A nightly round of searching under the beds. Usually would find at least one, worst evening was 3. Also quite a few around the bar area in the evenings. May be the location, but other hotels we stayed in on this trip didn't have the same issue (or maybe at least they had some level of containment as the only cockroaches found were already dead or dying). Not much around the area if you want to venture out without a car, apart from a lidl a couple of shops by the beach and the fantastic views of Los Gigantes down the road. Great place to explore the island from by car otherwise stay on site and enjoy the all inclusive.

We visited this property from the USA for a family vacation (family of five with three kids under 12). The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was what you would expect from a large resort. Plenty of options: some of it good, some of it not so good. The hotel has two large pools and plenty of activities for adults and kids. The views from the hotel (ocean and cliffs) are spectacular.

Offsite activities on the island are very good. I would recommend taking at least one or two excursions. We did a boat tour, water park trip, and star gazing excursion, all of which were excellent. The stargazing tour, in particular, I would highly recommend. We rented a car for the trip, which I would not recommend. Shuttles and taxis are a better way to go.

One minor downside is that this hotel is not beachside. The beach is walking distance, but the walk is down a very steep hill. The beach, however, is gorgeous and worth the walk.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this resort to a family from the USA. The resort is akin to what you would find in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Aruba, etc., but the surrounding area is much more accessible and fun to explore.

Not the nicest all-inclusive but perfect for a family on a budget. There was a lot for the kids to do.
Our disappointment was the room. Outdated with cheap appliances. The fridge wasn’t actually a “fridge” we were told. This was a challenge for us because we needed a way to keep my baby’s milk cold.
The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices but less so for lunch and dinner. The spa was nice. My son had fun at the kids club. The baby club was closed Tues and Wed and they require an extra fee.
Overall not a bad place to stay if you are on a budget.

Overall we had a great stay. The staff work very hard and it is super clean and friendly. The areas that need improvement are the friendliness and customer service of the reception staff and the entertainment for new year. Both were not good enough.
Firstly the reception staff were not friendly and made you feel they were doing you a favour. The only one who was good was Rita. On arrival we had a problem as we booked 2 rooms as a family with children and at the time of booking and afterwards sent messages requesting they were next to each other. After spending money on two rooms for a week this was not a difficult request especially when booking 3 months ahead. It was not done and the reception staff were not friendly and did not apologise. They blamed the fact that we booked on Expedia. They did move us the next day, and it was fine. But it was an awful first impression of the hotel, for such a simple family request.

The entertainment on New Year was poor. There was nothing fun for people to do or dance. People were bored. This would need to improve.

Apart from these two items, we had a great stay. The food was good. The new year dinner was outstanding. We enjoyed the location and atmosphere in the hotel. It was spotlessly clean. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent. Overall it was a good choice.

The hotel is very crowded, way too busy and nothing feels like it should for a 4 stars holiday.
Everything feels very average, nothing is that bad to complain but also nothing great either.
Entertainment facilities are ok and staff really do their best, but there is just a lack of organisation and way too many people everywhere to make anything fun.
Food on all included restaurants/bars (we had all-inclusive) is average at best, with some ridiculous upselling on some very basic things for the “landi” guests.
Everything just feels like a race, everyone saves beach lounges (even though the staff specifically says it is not allowed on checkin) or seats by the bar, and even saving desert on their plates that you see just going to waste afterwards.
It is just a massive hotel with way too many people to be even close to a 2-3 stars

Family friendly and heated pools. Plenty of sun beds for everyone and a warm friendly staff.
There is plenty to do for the kids and housekeeping was excellent.
I would recommend.
The only thing I would say is to have hand sanitizer around the restaurants as all inclusive buffet we need to encourage people cleaning their hands more before eating.

Hotel was in good location and some staffs are very friendly. Where most of them refer somebody else and no clear direction from the staffs- that can be improved. Food wise first few days was very exciting then felt the most of the items are same n everyday menu. Please consider to change the variety and open up more on vegetarians option. Apart from everything was very good. Finally forget to mention about the drinks which was very basic not the good quality wines/sprits available for All-inclusive. Must be improved to gain more Customers.

We spent the last several days here. Family of four with kids 12yo and 10yo. Pools are great, activities at the one pool were engaging for all ages. Drinks and snacks easily accessible. Buffets we’re good but standard variety. Snack bar wasn’t great pizza, fries, burgers. Could do with some different options there. Room was nice and clean. We hung the do not disturb sign on our door each day but it was disregarded by the housekeeping. They still came in and made beds even though we put the sign out for them not to. Balcony is good for drying pool clothes and towels. Wish they communicated the activities for the evening better. If you want quiet after 9pm then don’t bother. There was loud music played in the evenings until midnight almost as well as fireworks. So if you have small children who are trying to sleep this could be an issue. Staff was friendly and helpful. Excursion desk was helpful in booking a boat tour and it was fun! Recommend if you want somewhere to stay that’s convenient. Beach is a hike down to and worse coming back up but a beautiful place to see.

This was our second family stay here and we loved it (again). The quality and variety of the food was fantastic (lots of options for gluten free and vegetarian too). The hotel is lovely,
In good condition and well cared for. Very clean. The swimming pools are great and the staff helpful. The only area of improvement I would suggest is to have a greater variety of entertainment in the evening and extend the hours of the kids club (currently 11am-1pm, and 3-4pm).

The worst costumer relations dealt by Patrica you could imagine. My son had fried tiny little fish for dinner and soon after he fell sick, he vomited the whole night continuously and when we took him to emergency medical centre we were told he got food poisoning as those little fish if stayed for long in room temperature before being cooked can contain a bacteria that kids tummy can’t handle. We lost the entire day of our holiday being trapped in our room to care for our child. When the customer relations was informed they kept insisting on showing them “evidence” that the food poisoning was caused by the fish. Since our arrival, every day we could see vomits here and there on the floor which suggests getting sick is not uncommon in this resort. On our last day, the taxi was booked for 3pm and I spoke with Patricia from the costumer relations to see if we could checkout at 3pm instead of the usual 12pm so the kids could use the pool and make up for the lost day, the answer was “NO, it won’t be free of charge because you don’t have an “evidence” to prove your child got food poisoning from the restaurant food”. If this had happened in any other hotel a professional customer relations would have given us some sort of compensation without even asking for one. Very careless and unprofessional attitude from Patricia who felt no sympathy about what happened to our child and all she cared about was seeing evidence from doctors that the fish caused the food poisoning.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, I got fascinated how easy and AFFORDABLE you can plan your daily excursions and activities right there into the hotel, you don’t need to go anywhere, there is a desk in the hotel lobby where you just reserve all the adventure you want. I met Ana Mendez there, SHE IS AN ADORABLE PERSON, and she will guide you through all the details, directions, availability, etc. She is very professional and will help reserving your activities, in my opinion I believe this is the best choice if you want to get the most of your stay, if you are looking for ADVENTURE, I RECOMMEND planning your excursions and activities with Ana. As a summary, the Hotel is AWESOME! It is the perfect choice for families with kids, quality of service, SUPER CLEAN rooms, and public areas, that will exceed anyone expectations BY FAR!

Honest review from a couple in their 30’s: we wanted to stay in a quiet place and just relax and read a book. We paid for a sea view but a school was front of our balcony, we didn’t manage to sleep in peace in the mornings, the kids were there and played outside all day.
By the pool we couldn’t relax either cuz of the kids, they were loud and everywhere, don’t take me wrong it’s a paradise for families with kids but not a place to relax.
Food section was not as good either and u could hear someone’s baby were crying nonstop. We rented a car and went away most days, we tried to get a refund and find another hotel but it was possible from hotel.com, adults only section was only beds for adults but the kids were on both pools… short said it was not relaxing.
I recommend couples like us to book the delmar del playar ( sisters hotel) 5 min walk from this one, much more relaxing and it’s beautiful. Oh btw we stayed for two weeks and there was red flag on the beach every day!!!! We were not able to swim there and somebody got drowned there another day. Tbh a perfect hotel for families with kids to stay there and not leave the hotel. It’s very big and u will do 10k steps a day from ur room to the pool.

This was our 2nd time staying at Landmar and it is fabulous. The only bad parts are...tiny bugs in the bathroom..gross. Rude people in the gift shop and thank goodness we ate out on Monday evening. I'm not sure what was going on, but the line to eat was all the way down the hall. Its terrible to see families with exhausted children just waiting to eat dinner. I still highly recommend the Landmar and would stay again. My family loves it there and there is always something to do. You can't beat the value. The best thing about this stay was the female singer/guitar player they had Monday evening, she was absolutely fantastic!!!

Beautiful views and nice pools. Unfortunately we received little notice about how the activity and dinning services operate. This left us frustrated that we couldn't have dinner at the restaurant or schedule a high rope climbing activity without reserving a day or so in advance. Reception also missed on opportunities to be a little flexible rather we heard several times, \"this is not possible\". Landmar felt more like a cruiseship marry-go-round, where you get on, then you get off, don't expect any 4 or 5 star customer service.

Not to write home about. Checked in, got wrong room. Breakfast buffet is ample and large variety, but mediocre quality. The coffee makers dispense instant coffee, the juice is diluted cheap concentrate. The upside are freshly cooked eggs at the omelette station.

Another huge thumbs down is that they charged extra for the use of the in-room safe. Well, there is a first for everything and this was a first for me.

Other than that, i visited the restaurant exactly once for dinner as we arrived late.

The pool has a slide, but no water park as advertised.

The pool area and the free activities including climbing forest, mini golf, splash pool, beach volleyball, archery and others were nice and well kept.

All in all it was ok, but not good value for money. We will not come again.

Very friendly staff who put on adult and children's games throughout every day and different cabaret events in the bar area each night (including Christmas day.

The food was excellent quality with a huge choice.

It was such a large complex and well organised it didn't seem crowded at any time. Even though it was fully booked.

Weather was great and we've come home with a suntan after only a week there over Christmas.

The reception was terrible. They don't know how to greet or welcome their guests. Unless you are spanish, this place is not for you. They are racist. The 2 restaurants are terrible and they don't know what a la cart means. They give you the buffet food and its not an actual single dish. The buffet was ok but lots of Pork which is really displeasing. The staff are all rude except for the guys who run the games and some guys at the buffet service. The reception is the worst. They truly need a course on how to talk and treat their multicultural guests. If u r of color, this place is not for you. You will realise it instantly. Which is a shame.

We went first week in September when it was a lot less crowded. Staff could not have been nicer. Pools were fabulous but due to poop in the pool 3 separate days one pool each of these days was closed. Animation team was fabulous. Great activities for young children especially minidisco at night. Food was good. Room could use an updating but overall for the price we felt it was a great deal. Overall, enjoyed it.

My wife and I went with our two children (ages 4 and 5) and had a great time, save for one significant point - Expedia advertised they had babysitting facilities on offer but the hotel confirmed on arrival that they do not and have never offered this. If babysitting is a service that is important for you - they do not offer this here, despite what Expedia had advertised!

That aside it is a lovely hotel, the kids club and entertainment are fantastic and the food was very good.

The hotel seemed to be very well run, there is plenty to do on site and it represented good value for money.

We would highly recommend this place

Overall: 9.5/10 - would have loved to stay for longer.
Room: Beds very comfortable, lots of storage space for clothes, fridge with a few complimentary fizzy drinks in (not restocked), aircon easy to use, lovely shower. There were quite a lot of what we think were very tiny ants in the room on the dresser in the bedroom and the cabinet in the lounge area. Not sure if that’s to be expected but didn’t cause us too many issues. Cleaning team did an amazing job and the room was incredibly clean. They did a wonderful job.
Food: Cannot fault it! Amazing choice and quality. All kept topped up and fresh with freshly cooked stations and a kids bit. We did sometimes eat at the snack bar, and there are a few flies but it’s to be expected and not too bad (and that’s from someone that HATES flies!)
Availability of drinks great - apart from dinner when you have to be served drinks - understand that with alcohol but would be good to get your own soft drinks.
Staff: Outstanding. Customer service experience was fantastic.
Other facilities: Water slide is just for children. To go on treetops but you need to 6 or over and I think 1.2m tall (sadly son not able to). Soft play brilliant as well as splash park. Good access to tennis / volleyball / basketball / etc. Pools gorgeous! There is an arcade and we did spend a ridiculous amount of money there but it was great fun. Entertainment was fantastic. My son loved Landi!
We went to the beach which was lovely and clean with a good wavy sea!

We stayed in a Landi Village room, all inclusive, for 8 nights, with an almost 3 year old and a 16 month old. We had a nice stay, but I would not stay there again.
The good:
Many swimming pools of different depths.
Large variety of food in the buffet restaurants. Not amazing food, but decent.
Room was stocked with milk, snacks, and beverages when we arrived.
Walking distance to beach.
Walking distance to grocery store.
The play ground and splash pad were great.

The not so good:
The rooms were not child safe. The front door and balcony door did not have interior locks. Both of our toddlers were able to easily open both doors. We had to block each door with chairs and tables before bed.
The bathroom door did not have a lock.
The all-day snack bar was terrible.
The double beds were pushed together to create a larger bed. This is normal in Europe, however, these beds were on wheels and constantly rolled away from each other. Some people might not care, but it was dangerous for our 16 month old.
Housekeeping was mediocre. The glasses and coffee cups in our room were always dirty, even after they were supposedly cleaned. Also, they cleaned our room at a different time each day, Which is very inconvenient when you have two kids who take naps.

Hotel spotless throughout. Masks mandatory in all indoor areas but restaurant staff did not make people sanitise hands before entering the buffet restaurant, plenty of gel stations available. Food was good if a bit repetitive. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options including non dairy milk at breakfast. Pool side snack bar had decent offerings too.
Rooms are a great size. We had a 1 bed apartment with a double bed and two singles great for a 11/9 year old.
Plenty of amenities for kids. 3 heated pools, water slide open for majority of the day. High ropes, mini golf, archery all included but need to be booked early as they fill up quickly. Also face masks required on high ropes. There is also a soft play and water splash park for tougher kids which was good.
Drinks were all local spirits, we stuck to wine/beer but you pay extra for branded spirits
Only downside was the Spa, it was in poor condition. Some of the areas in the spa pool not working/broken and sauna/steam room were shut for COVID reasons, however, we were still charged full price to enter.
Resort is quite spread out and hilly but there are plenty of lifts/ramps to get about ok.

We enjoyed the pools and arcade
we thought the property was a bit run down. Sinks, elevators and ATM were broken for days. The spa was out of service all week and the front desk staff were unapologetic and did not seem to care.
Most other resorts would have offered something in return but not here.
we would not go back to this resort.

Services was at low standard. No coffee or tea sachets were refilled in the room. Overall food standards were mediocre. The menu was always repeated. The drinks were not upto standard, all cocktails were premade and poured into glasses at request. The arcade was money grabber scheme. The pool tables would take the money and won’t give the balls, the reception wouldn’t take any action to refund the coins ( yuri at the reception was very rude to customer, pretty much no care service )

Nice hotel, good to the family with kids

Everything was good, nice facilities, good staff, good foods, only thing not very satisfied was the beach near the hotel is not good for swim, but if you just come to enjoy the sunlight, you will have everything in the resort. And the good beach area is about 30-40 mins by driving if yoi dont mind.

Great stay!

We had an amazing stay! The resort was really nice and we loved the pools! Especially the ones that were heated. Only negative thing I have to say is about the food. It wasn't so great.

Great food and good location

This hotel is located in the west-end of the island, about 1 hr driving from Tenerife South Airport. First thought was the location is a bit far off from the downtown and sounds like a bit boring. However, I came here for just relaxation to stay away from busy and crowded city life. So it doesn't really matter. And the black sand beach located about 10 min walking from the hotel is absolutely phenomena. Very clean and not crowded. very safe with lifeguard.

The food was also good. We stayed there for 5 days. It has sufficient variety of food which we're not fed up with. I have to say quality of food is also good and I'm sure you also like food if you don't expect high-end restaurant quality.

Downside is the Spa and Wifi. For spa some waterjet massage were not working and a bit boring. And Wifi is extremely slow during the day time.- very late night it's a bit better.

Reasonable for families

This resort is for families with small children, not older people. Rooms are comfortable and clean, beds good. Food was a bit patchy, sometimes good and other times very average.Amenities were good for young families.If you like sitting by the pool all day, drinking beer and wine, this is for you. BEWARE the ATM in the resort lobby as it charges 16% on withdrawals with no warning that I was aware of. This was not my cup of tea at all.

hotel is one hour and 30 min from Tenerife north

after 18 hours flight from US to Tenerife the three rooms / suites reserved six months prior were not available. We were compensated with free safe in the room , free Wi-Fi and they upgraded our drinks which we believed all of it was part of the package. Also the rooms were with 2 twin beds that can not be moved together.

Nice but bring cash to this all enclusive.

We enjoyed our stay at the Costa Los G... but were very surprised by the amount of things that were not included and the amount of cash we needed on hand (maybe this is a European thing at all inclusives, but not something we are accustom to in Mexico and the Caribbean). We were also a little disappointed that we had to chase the staff for room amenities such as soap and bottled water - small things but they kind of added up. All this said, it was a nice resort for the family (kids 7,5&4) and we had a good time. The pool was great the food as good and the beach was a short 5 minute walk. It was like a cruise ship on land!

Lots of children

Very nice hotel, nearly all staff helpful. Lots of children, not ideal for couples unless you like lots of children around. Entertainment was poor and not to our taste but we were happy to find a quiet spot away from music/cabaret etc. Food was great nearly every day, we were one vegan, one veggie and a teenager who likes standard British food. Our free Spa afternoon was amazing, we also had a massage which was very good. The gym was ok but nearly all the equipment was dated and needed replaced. On of our favourite memories was hiring a Bali bed, was so peaceful and having Cava and fruit delivered twice throughout the day was lovely. The hotel got very busy on the last day we were there with huge queues waiting to be seated at dinner but we never experienced that any of the other days. We were there mid June for 7 nights.

Excellent resort, highly recommend.

Very good quality resort with lots of excellent facilities for all the family. Our 2 yound children had a great time. Different pools to choose, many activities to get involved in.
The food was excellent with so much choice but delicious all the same.
Hot was clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and courteous.

Lots to do for families. Food good. beds most uncomfortable ever been on. Pool bar should be open longer as sun hot until 9pm but it closes at 5 so if you stay in pool theres no water available.

It was great for a short 3 night break with friends. Food is reasonable and plentiful but can't comment on the specialty restaurants as we didn't qualify for the freebies given to those staying a week or more. Entertainment a bit Hi-De-Hi but seemed to suit the many family groups there. It's a fairly large complex in numerous buildings and not all the views are great, seas views are a bit distant but the town is only 5 mins away. Wifi has to be paid for as do safe's... which was a bit disappointing for a modern 4* complex.

Thanks for a great holday!

The hotel, staff, food and facilities were excellent. We were always greeted with a smile, no matter how busy the staff were. They worked very hard to make our stay an enjoyable one!
I could not fault the hotel and my reservations about going to an all-inclusive hotel were soon put to rest! I would not hesitate in going back. Thankyou for a great holiday!

Great holiday fantastic weather

Second visit to Lua Bay, absolutely fantastic hotel, great food, great entertainment , lots of beer and cocktails. A piece of advice- don't trust weather forecast especially one on iPhone it says rain and it is scorching 28 degrees out there. Even if it rains it clears in couple of hours and it is sunny again. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly!!!!

Who could ask for anything more!

Fantastic all - inclusive hotel our 2nd visit. Would recommend to all, plenty of activities now first choice have taken over for both children and adults during the day. Choice of bars for evening entertainment and food to die for! Three large pools plus extra toddler pools and plenty of sun-loungers!

If you like going out of the hotel to explore, not good unless you like hill walking, small town but nice beach (black sand), but why go out when you have everything you need at the hotel?

Will be back.
