The hotel is pleasant enough and it would have been fine. Unfortunately the kettle in my room did not work. We only stayed one night so I didn't ask for a replacement. The biggest issue was that there was karaoke in a venue downstairs which could be heard very loudly in my room particularly between 12am-1am. I did not have a good night's sleep as a result. Not all rooms are affected by loud events, but some are. For this reason I would probably hesitate to unreservedly recommend this hotel and I probably wouldn't stay there again.

This hotel is in an ideal location, just behind Skier’s Plaza and near the civic parking lots. The ski locker self-storage was convenient. But the property is in desperate need of a redecoration; the rooms and hallways reek of early 80s Hot Dog era ski hotel, there are stains on the walls and carpets, and the pool deck is in disrepair. The pool never struck us as particularly clean. And our room was visibly filthy when we checked in, with hair and dirt all over the bathroom floors and garbage under the pullout couch. And they have a serious plumbing problem. None of the sinks in the room drained properly, and we had to call maintenance to unclog one and then the other toilet during our short stay. Our room was filthy enough that it made us question how clean the public spaces such as saunas or the restaurant could possibly be. We didn’t even try the restaurant because of that.

We enjoyed our stay at the Executive Inn Mountainside. We have been at the this property before. The price was good and a little less versus comparable rooms right on the village stroll. The pool wasn't open yet.

Some in room oddities like a metal piece was off the fire place when we entered the room after check in. There was no slide in the track of of the closet door. The air condition is not installed flush to the wall. A time or two I had to help the float in the toilet.
None of these little issues would prevent me from staying here at the right time or price. But I would definitely put this hotel in a 3 star category. A solid, pet friendly hotel.

Dated. Murphy bed!!! Sauna while nice inside, is pathetic to access - basically 4th floor passage way and the sauna controls are in passage way. Clearly not a good understanding of how saunas operate. Not a place I would stay again.

The pool and hot tub closes at 5 which was annoying. We didn’t get to use it because who wants to sit in a hot tub during the day? The halls also smelt heavily like vodka and must so that was a little offsetting. Jets in the bathtub didn’t work. Toilet flow wasn’t great. Fireplace was turned off for the season.. honestly it was a very overpriced room and I wasn’t too thrilled.

The staff are genuinely friendly, and the hotel has a great large pool, hot tub, and sauna. Some rooms even have their own private saunas, which is such a nice bonus. I love walking into the room with relaxing music playing and the fireplace already on, it’s a really welcoming touch.

Check in was smooth but we ended up with a strange beeping sound in our room. The maintenance people who came to help us were so nice and helpful, they really made a difference in our stay! The front desk however seemed to not be helpful once the maintenance people determined that the beeping sound was an anomaly (something left by another guest that we could not find). The front desk staff made it difficult to change our room due to only having bigger rooms available. We ended up wasting over an hour into our short stay at Whistler dealing with this. Once again the maintenance people were great and they deserve 5 stars!

My daughter and I had a nice one day stay at the hotel. The room was large and very clean and well furnished, and the amenities were excellent. Front desk staff were very helpful, and the ski storage was convenient. The location was the best, very close to the gondolas and super convenient access to restaurants and shopping. The staff were amazing. Early parking access was a plus. Our room was available before check in was a plus. The resort itself could use an update but overall the room was great. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. To have two bathrooms and a sauna in the room was a bonus.

It was late at night after being out all day and we were exhausted so decided just to share the upstairs bed.
I would not feel comfortable staying here again. I would not want to trust them to provide clean linens.

This hotel is great. A great value and the location is only beaten by a few more expensive hotels. Lovely staff all you need is here. My only warning is that we booked a family loft which is overall great with kitchen and eating area. It was for myself and 18 year old daughter. The sleeper sofa is not a good one and probably only good for 10-13 year olds and below. So my daughter slept with me as the sleeper sofa has no support and hurt her back. Other than that great gas fireplace with sauna in unit and close to everything. I would sta here again just do something different bed wise rather than sleeper sofa.

Amazing location, spacious suite with a jacuzzi and a full kitchen, also comes with two fireplaces which was a nice surprise. The suite was very comfortable and cozy, it felt like we could stay there long-term. Pool and hot tub were open but we didn’t get a chance to try them because it was raining, so next time! Would love a mountain view, but couldn’t complain. Would highly recommend staying here.

We talked to the receptionist about this and they offered ear plugs which helped for the second night but honestly, you shouldn't need ear plugs to sleep when you are paying a few hundred a night.
- the bed was also pretty uncomfortable. It felt more like a rollout bed and we both sank into the middle of it.
- the tv is very old and didn't work well. The tv didn't seem to respond at all to the remote.

All was good except my room had smelled like someone heated fish in the microwave. It remained smelly my entire stay and they were fully booked with no spare room. I sprayed air freshener and had the windows open the entire time- did not work. There should be a rule- no cooking or heating up fish in the rooms. Friendly staff. Arrived early so the room was not ready. I was able to park in the hotel underground parkade so i can leave my luggage in the car and went skiing for the day. Checked into a room with a fireplace by the bed, a kitchen and dining seating area. The hotel was a bit dated but it was quite central and quick walk to the Whistler gondola (<5min.) There is an outoor pool and hot tub but i didn’t get a chance to use it. Overall it was decent value for the age and the location of the hotel.

The room was dated although spacious and family friendly. They charge 30 overnight parking, but rule was ridiculous in Whistler. We’ve stayed in more than 10 hotels in Whistler. The mountain closes at 3pm-ish so all hotels we stayed previously offer parking until at least 4pm on checkout day. This hotel parking is not cheaper but only up until 1pm and cannot be extended even we were willing to pay for one more night parking. This is so inconvenient that you have to go back base in the middle of day just to move the car.

The bathroom setup was also awkward — having a shower directly in the bedroom area is not something most guests would appreciate and did not feel comfortable or private.
Another major frustration was parking. We wanted to ski on the day of departure. In most Whistler hotels, you can keep your car in the garage for the full 24 hours you paid for. Here, however, parking must be vacated by 1:00 PM, regardless of your check-out time. This feels unreasonable and not guest-friendly.
In summary, while the lobby looks nice, the rooms and policies do not match expectations. With better communication, room updates, and more flexible parking, this property could be improved significantly.
