Le Chamois is a nice building in a great location at the base of Blackcomb mountain. The rooms are larger than average for the cost, and hotel layout is easy to navigate. Only 3 stars for property condition as the common areas are in need of a refresh (carpet, paint, furnishings). Otherwise, I recommend staying at LeChamois for a Whistler trip.

There needs to be more information given about the parking situation 25 a day is alot to swallow. There were 2 heaters and a dyson fan but no instructions or remotes for any of them. You needed an engineering segree to get hot water in the shower.

We were on the 4th floor and I guess residences are upstairs and made a lot of noise till very late. They were moving furniture and music loud and we can hear everything. Besides the noisiness the hotel was great.

Pay Big Money, Accused and Charged for Bad Service
It is not cheap it is not in the main village, it is noisy, smells like weed coming through the vents. Coffee maker still has grounds in it when you make coffee. Then their is small chip in the glass table top you think nothing of it because it is not really affecting you. But after your stay they just charge you for a new top saying it happened on your stay and you need to pay, no connection no questions. Call and talk with manager telling him no way I could have chipped the table my wife and me stay by our selves and never even put anything on the table. Was told they would get back to me. Did they no clear that they have bad service and do not take care of their own property. Do not stay at Le Chamois not worth the pain or the time it will take to deal with they terrible service.

Booked this property for a spur of the moment solo boarding trip. the location is perfect for ski in/out. Right at base of Blackcomb gondola so you can watch for the line to start building (6am) and get out there before it grows too long. The room had everything I needed and was comfortable.

Very nice suite, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel is right outside of the Blackcomb mountain gondola, which makes very easy and convenient access to the mountains during ski season. The whistler village is only about a 10 minute walk away from here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here.

We loved this stay of ours, the suite was perfect for my two tween daughters & I. The location was a short walk into the village area which was lovely & included a bridge over a little river. It is a very safe, quiet & nice area to stay in.
I took off a few stars as the main bathroom was dirty. There were crumbs in the bathtub when we arrived & the dishes in the kitchen cupboard were all dirty. I had to rewash all of them before we used them. The tv’s in both rooms were not set up properly & I had to ask staff to come & set them up our second night so we could watch tv. Reaching front desk staff was also an issue. The phone lines would just say no one was available and I needed to go down to the front desk each time I needed assistance which was a bother. I was told they had just switched phone systems so hopefully it will no longer be an issue in the future.
The pool & hot tub amenities & the laundry facilities are all clean & well kept.
All in all I highly recommend staying here & we will be back again soon!

The room was larger than we expected. We were disappointed that there was not really any complimentary tea/ coffee, or robes. The room also smelled like chemicals or harsh stain. The hot water took 15 minutes of running all the taps each time we needed a shower. When we asked the front desk for the wifi password, they told us to find it on our sheet and hung up.

Room was spacious and nice and we would've had an amazing time however I had the worst sleep of my life because the blinds were so light and did nothing so all the lights from the buildings behind were shining all evening and the morning sun woke us up by 6 AM -if you like to sleep in the dark or sleep in past 6,this is not the place for you. It was also frustrating that the ice machine was broken, the vending machine did not sell any water, so we were very thirsty and the elevator was broken for one day so we had to use stairs. It was also a bummer that there was a Keurig coffee machine, but no Keurig coffee pods and coffee filters and coffee but no coffee maker so was unable to make coffee sadly.

Terrific location by the Blacombe gondola. Beware the gondola only runs on weekends in late April and May. Not ski in ski out anymore. That was left out of the description. Guess I shoulda researched it some more. Hotel Seems to be getting run down. One elevator out for maintenance (they say upgrade but we will see). No working ice machine. Front desk informed me there was ice for sale at a shop down the street. I’ve never stayed at a hotel without an ice machine!!! The pull down wall bed was hard as a rock. The other queen bed was good. We were in room 403 and it had 2 separate bedrooms with lockable doors which was very nice. Very roomy.

We stayed in 302 and it was beautifully renovated and very comfortable to stay in. It seemed larger than it was as the design is very thoughtful to space management. Minor things could make it better like at least S&P in the kitchen, the ice tray is inadequate and the toilet paper things are poorly placed, again very minor. There were no towels in the pool area when I went Sunday morning @8:30 so that was a bit annoying to have to go back up to get my own. Hot tub size is fab!!!

The unit was nice and clean. If you are a mountain biker I wouldn't recommend staying here though. They don't have a very secure lockup and are very strict, not allowing bikes in the rooms. Westin, Hilton, pan pacific, and even aava all have much more secure bike lockups. My family and I have over $15k in bikes and I'll never stay here again unless they improve their mountain bike support

The location was great, at the edge of upper village, where it was quieter at night, but close walking distance to lower village with all shops and eateries. The hotel needs update but acceptable. Swimming pool is small. The room needs cleaning before checking in, we found hair and debris around bed and drawers, so requested staff to provide new sheets. Staff were friendly. Overall it is an okay hotel at that price.

We stayed off season, enjoying the early summer nature of Whistler. The hotel itself was perfectly located in the upper village, near everything but away from the parties. The suite was incredibly comfortable and well appointed for our family of four. Front desk staff was helpful and efficient. Be aware that you do have to pay for parking.

We (family of 4) were extremely happy with our stay at Le Chamois! I can not speak for other room but our suite 304 must have been recently renovated because it was modern and very clean! Both the sofa bed and queen bed were very comfortable. Blackcomb gondola was literally on the doorstep, close to shops and restaurants. I could easily have stayed in the suite for a week. Only negative was pool and hot tub were down for our stay. Extremely satisfied with stay!

The location is terrific. However, this unit (402) was terribly disappointing. One of our party stayed in 302, which was gorgeous. Fullly updated, full kitchen, etc. The same could not be said for 402. Tacky, tacky. Wine cooler for fridge, which wouldn’t stay closed, cheap mismatched, broken “dishes”, hair dryer blew the circuits, what a ripoff.

Had family stay at the same time in a different room that was very outdated and needed a lot of work. Each room is completely different so look carefully before booking.

Amazing location! The sofa bed in 210 was absolutely not worthy of being called a bed and was horrible for our 16 year old son who typically can sleep on anything. It was appalling for the cost.

Person at check-in and check-out was not super friendly and we felt was in the wrong job. Definitely did not feel welcomed. Room 304 was updated, clean and bright. The only downfall was the bedroom window is above where the large delivery trucks back in. Was woken at 7 am to loud beeping sound of one of these trucks our first morning. Hotel is conveniently located.

Location was okay, not too far from the village, rooms were spacious but dirty especially the bedding. Beware of furniture, they seemed very old with air vents about to fall off. One of the chairs broke after sitting on it for the first time during the whole stay which also happened to be on the day of check out.

Really nice place, we enjoyed the 2 showers and extra space with the kids. I was worried the room would be too hot, but even in 30 C it was quite comfortable. I enjoyed staying in the upper village, away from the crouds.

The hotel in itself is really nice, very pleasant room. It has the old school feel to it with a soaker tub where you'd expect to find the kitchen but we had views of the mountain and honestly the room was absolutely perfect in every way. Comfort, cleanliness and views! Would stay in this room and hotel again. Close to everything too, really fantastic spot.
Due to covid, there was essentially zero service. We requested more coffee and were given the wrong coffee and ended up leaving the hotel every morning to find some. There is currently no room cleaning so we ended up with bags of trash in the room and lacked clean towels though they did bring some up when we requested, however there was no one to take the old ones.

The rooms are gorgeous are kept clean, it is only a 5 minute walk from the village and staff was friendly. We had issues with parking because the underground is 6’8 not 6’10 but if you don’t have a large verbiage you should be fine. Also one thing that isn’t shown on Hotels.com is that you have to be 25+ to stay here.

Located in the Upper Village offered the quietness I was looking for and convenience to the restaurants and shops. It is also a 1 minute walk to the Blackcomb chairlifts if you are planning on skiing. The rooms are comfortable although the bathroom could use some updating. The front desk staff were friendly. The reason I selected this property was for its location. Just 1 min walk to the Blackcomb gondola and I like it that it is not as noisy as properties in Whistler village.
