It is right in Whistler village, with all the restaurants surrounding it. There is grocery and pharmacy close by. The playground is right in front of the property. The gondola is also a short walk away. There is a trail that leads to Lost Lake. Everything is within walking distance so we did not need to use the car during our entire stay here. Parking is free which was rare for a property in the Village. The parking area was very tight though. We used the full kitchen for breakfast and lunch, and just go out for dinner which saved us money. The unit feels warm though, even with the windows open. The heater was definitely off already. They provided us fans, which was great. There is washer and dryer inside the unit, which we did not use, but nice to have. The whole check-in process needs to be read thoroughly so you do not miss any detail, otherwise everything was smooth. There was also a number to call if you needed help. TV has an attached roku, which is great for kids wanting to watch streaming apps instead of cable. I love our stay here.

Unit had all the kitchen equipment and was close to grocery store, hospital and pharmacy. The shuttle buses worked well. It could use new dining room chairs especially since it was a deluxe unit. The initial entry is awkward but help from others made it possible to use the elevator. Overall we were very pleased.

I stayed in this complex several times over 20 years ago and I’m happy to report that it’s still a great place to stay and has definitely had some upgrades in the intervening years. Walk to everything from your unit (5-10 mins to the lifts) Excellent value for your money.

Very comfortable apartment, meticulously cleaned and prepared for our stay, including a well equipped kitchen that covers all your needs. Very warm and comfy - loved the gas fireplace!

Well located with easy access to all Whistler village, supermarket, liquor store & pharmacy all right next door. Was also right next to the free shuttle bus stop negating the need to walk very far in ski boots. Hot tub in the complex is a very nice feature as well!

The Rockies Experience

Excellent accommodation! Everything we required was in the condo, we had a lovely view and it was very warm and cosy. Location was extremely convenient for shopping and restaurants. Would certainly recommend and return if we are ever in Whistler again. Many thanks to Tanya who was extremely kind and helpful in sorting out a few booking issues for us.

This is a great location, room was fine. However, we had a frustrating experience with checking in and communication. We were given two key fobs which indicated the parking stalls we were to use. Due to the elevator being busted by our spot, we utilized the other stall indicated on the fob.

For days, no issue. Then we shockingly found our vehicle towed. Despite our license plate being on file, they towed it. After calling to see what the issue was, it was indicated we weren't assigned the stall, despite our key fob indicating which stalls we could use. Looking online, this seems to be a quite common thing that occurs on this property, when taking the couple seconds of ensuring the correctly tagged fobs are used for customers.

If you're looking for a place to sleep, I think it's a fine room for what it is. But I also question a hefty cleaning fee when they want you to clean out the garbage yourself. $115 to throw some sheets and towels in a washing machine for their next customer? I dunno man, seems a little sus.

Overall, pain in the butt moments for a vacation. Shell out extra for better accommodations.

We liked our stay. Check in was not easy. We were instructed to use a code and use the elevator within30 seconds of entering-we did but without a fob the elevator did not work. In our latest credit card we have been charged an additional amount. We left the room clean, removed the trash as instructed and followed
The rules that applied to that condo as laid out on the instructions in the room. I have contested these additional charges through my credit card. I probably won’t stay at this location again. Also when we entered the condo it was sweltering because the cleaning service turned off the air conditioning.

Was well cleaned inside my unit, did quick answer the phone, well prepared the items which were for convenience such as kitchen supplies, washing machine, dryer with detergent that sent by email when i got confirmation from the market lodge.

But few things that wanted to mention to improve for better service for the customers who may stay as the first time to.

1. Better put the information inside unit that inform where is the garbage bin that wasnt sure for the first time and had to go out throughout the parking lot door to check if the bins were outside, and later found that it was right next the parking lot door.

2. There were the hook, or metal bar for hanging the towers in a washroom, but just kept falling down and made big noise several times that made us end up being upset. Those were just attached on the wall like decoration only, but not for using at all. So I i wanted to let you guys to see that needed to fix properly and let it be there as itself came apart when i left the unit.

Just small issues that you are willing to improve asap for sure, so I am willing to visit there again later for sure, there is quiet, good location, cleanness, and even small hot tub also very good.

Only issue was parking; as with most whistler properties the spots are laughably small and I have a small truck and could not fit as there was a truck in adjacent spot and concrete pillar on other side. Had to pay an extra $100 for the “oversized” spot to park my compact pickup. As I was leaving another fellow was repairing his mirror as it hit the concrete pillar. So if you have anything tacmo sized or bigger per prepared to pay and are age for different spot! Other than that excellent property for the price!

Close to the supermarket but not close to the gondola. There was a free shuttle though to the gondola every 15mins so that was good. It was a weird arrangement where you had to take your own garbage to the parking lot, the entry requirements were a new concept for me. You had to race to the lift when buzzed in juggle the door with your luggage etc, so first impressions were 'this is not easy' but given it was the cheapest property in Whistler, I was ultimately happy. With the budget price comes no frills

The building is in market place, great location.
No A/C in the unit. It was hot in the room for our August stay. Outside was over 30C. Two fans working 24 hrs didn't help much.
Was extremely hot for sleeping. Kitchen very well equipped.
Plenty of nice restaurants options around and store with many hot food options.
I personally don't like check in over the phone, also email with instruction from Management could be simplified.

Location is great, right in the heart of Whistler. Free parking in a secure garage, large spaces.

Entry instructions upon arrival are confusing. Ours went like this- we used the call box, said our name, and the woman said \"hold please\". Then nothing happened. We tried again, and again. It turned out that we were supposed to get in the elevator right away and push the buttons, she was ringing us up. She scolded me for not reading the instructions, which were very lengthy and not very helpful.

No A/C. It was pretty warm in the room for our July stay, at night, even with all the windows open and fans going.

Our unit was very dated- the appliances were decades old and the stove had at least 1 burner that didn't work. Looks like not much has been done to the place for 30 years or so. But it was comfortable, and for the price it was okay.

Great location but incredibly loud. Quiet time is between 10 pm and 8 am...most nights it was loud well past 10 and the first shout talkers of the day started as early as 5:30 am. If you are a light sleeper...this is NOT the place to stay. Plus, since the windows had to stay closed to block some of the sound, the unit was extremely hot for sleeping.

Our room was very noisy - there seemed to be a large group of people in the room above us and it sounded like children running and jumping in the room constantly.
We were also a little less than pleased that there was a playground immediately outside our room/patio/window... small kids during the day yelling and having all kinds of fun and much older kids into the evening having all kinds of fun.
We were a little confused with id code instead of front desk for checkin and actually locked our fob in the room at one point - unable to access our room without intervention (thank you to the helpful lady on the phone). I think we prefer a front desk scenario where checkin and details are handled more personally.

Everything in this property is very old and worn. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, I think one of your staff needs to try to spend a night on the pull out sofa so you can feel every spring digging into your back or ribs so you replace the damn thing with a newer one, or at least don’t say this place has a second bed just to charge extra money. My kid had a horrible sleep, and my child is a sound sleeper that can sleep anywhere, I tried the pullout sofa one night… truly this sofa needs to go.
The bathroom cleaning before our arrival was only unfinished or done very poorly.
The bathroom was sprayed with a bleach cleaning solution but was never rinsed afterwards as the whole place stunk as bleach when we first entered the room, my eyes were bothered and tearing from the bleach in the air. I was unsure why the whole place smelled like bleach, I thought it was just cleaned so I did not put too much thought until that happened, I had a black pair of shorts that I needed to wash by hand and I laid them on the edge of the bathtub so they can dry, the shorts were completely discoloured from the bleach that was left to dry in the bathtub.
While the place has a good location and it is close restaurants and activities I won’t recommend this place.

This was a budget accommodation in an excellent location. Room itself was very small and could have used a good cleaning (bath needed to be bleached, lots of dust/cobwebs on the walls, visible mold in bathroom). Check in process was fine if not verbose (email could be simplified). The room had basically zero noise insulation as we could hear our next door neighbor watching TV very clearly all night. Overall, location was more important to us this trip than comfort so it worked, but i wouldn’t stay here again.

Location was good, you are right in the upper village parking lot so lots of food and shopping options. Ever since Covid the hours of stores and restaurants have drastically been reduced so be aware. Grocery stores and most places closed at 7pm, McDonalds is closed at 8:30pm so eat or shop before that of you are out of luck.

Parking was in secure underground but super tight spots, didn't check out the shared hot tub so cannot comment. Rooms were ok, for some reason Whistler Retreats supplies the worst pillows possible, I don't even know where they source them but all their properties seem to use them, awful. They also have the cheapest toilet paper, see through 1 ply that is as rough as sandpaper. Room with the bunks has a glass door but it cannot close due to the bed blocking the door.

Coffee machine didn't work properly, bottom plugs in kitchen didn't work (they came to check why the microwave wasn't working and that was the issue). Sink has hose faucet that doesn't come out, nice sink but that was not ideal. Only cloths to clean pots, would have been so much easier to scrub a pan with a scrubbing sponge or a brush.

Was overall an ok place, if you are just hitting the slopes or hanging out in the village then it is fine, hefty walk to the hills if you have kids and gear to carry though, easier to drive to a free parking lot.

Would I stay here again? Probably not unless it was a really good rate.

The location is great. The place is pretty dated and also very loud! Lots of people in the hallway and it sounds like they're right in your room. The hot tub facilities were really nice, but they are far depending where your room is and you don't know if it's gonna be full. Would be nice to have a booking system of some kind for the hot tub during COVID. Overall okay stay! Not at all worth the price, but I think that's just how it is in tourist hubs.

We stayed in a comfort Studio suite. Very nice suite, very clean inside, with modern furniture. Fully equipped with everything you could need, lots of storage. Great location in the town center too. The only slight downside was the balcony. It was one of the reasons we booked. It had dirt and lots of leaking water (I assume from the AC). Together they made a dirty water, so we always had to wear shoes outside. The balcony furniture was plastic and broken too. But this is only a minor drawback in an otherwise very nice place to stay.

Hi would to warn you about a few things that are quite important to know. The bed is as uneven as Whistler is. The refrigerator wasn’t level every time we would open the door it would make everything fall inside. The table was also uneven we had to put carton under each one to level off. The were little microscopic black bugs that kept biting my shins and feet til I bled. We had a parking spot reserved for us but and always used by someone else staff included. The last day we had to park somewhere else cause ours taken so we got towed had to to pay a taxi to go get our car at the impound cos in total was more than $200. They removed our access 1 hour and 10 mins before departure. We called the manager to tell her that we had been towed to be answered stupidly that every time you park elsewhere you take a risk of being towed and they also said that we should have waited every time someone was in our parking we should have called to get it towed which would have been 4 times during a six day stay during our vacation very unprofessional on their part, that’s just what you want to be doing during your vacation managing your parking spot so unprofessional and not managed correctly. I responded to her that was totally ignorant. Would never return there we paid 2021 fees for a piece of outdated crap that is outdated. Circa 1980’s. We request reimbursement of the towing fees and taxi fees

Great Spot, Would Recommend!

Had a great stay here. Great location and a nice spacious enough room. The room is slightly tired (dated) but still clean and nice. I would stay here again & recommend it to others.

There was a playground right outside our window, and the kids start at 7am. So no sleeping in.

Checkout was a little weird as you have to leave the key fob in the room, but also need it to go down the elevator. Had to take the stairs when checking out.

We left a few jackets behind in the room. At first, dealing with the management company that answers the phone was kind of a pain, but once I got to deal with the local Whistler manager, she was great! She went above and beyond to return our jackets and I am very grateful for that.

The Room was very out dated and both of the pull out beds were worn out to the point i was being stabbed with springs all night. It was like paying 2020 prices to go back to 1986. Old broken remotes, 80s toilets and fixtures. Burning hot taps that were overly sensitive to the touch. A bathroom fan that stayed on unless i messed around with a humidifier in the middle of the night. I stay at economy places and am far from a rich man but i couldnt recommend this place to anyone.. I feel ripped off.

For the love of god, DONT STAY HERE

Stayed at the Lodge before. Its a discount acconodation in a village area that can get real expensive, real quick. We knew we were getting budget friendly accomodations.

What we DIDNT know is that we would be getting a room with cockroaches in it. I found 2 of the gross bugs in the room at 5am after check-in. I called the management company number, but that only goes to an answering service, day or night. After 5 calls (5am, 10am, 12pm, and 4pm) finally a \"maintainence man\" showed up.

He started asking questions like, and I am not joking \"Whats a cockroach?\" \"Why is that so bad?\" and more.

When I expressed we wanted to be moved to anothet, similar but clean room he said \"Well if there are roaches and they infested your bags, we cant move you, that will just spread them\" ABSOLUTELY ABSURD!!

I didnt want free accomodation. I didnt want a major upgrade, I just wanted a clean room. Instead, this \"maintanance man\" told us to go to dinner while he worked the problem, then called to let us know he had an exterminator spray bug spray in the room (with all our belongings in there) and he was very annoyed at us for this inconvenience to him!!!

Beyond terrible service, gross room, and run down. Damage and stains everywhere. The carpet under the bed was literally missing and they have the nerve to charge a security deposit OUTSIDE your Hotels.com booking.

overall very nice place great location

It was a ski trip with my husband! place was small cozy but close to everything! We enjoyed! We wished to have kitchen and little bigger room but we manage without!

Sofa bed linnen has not been replaced (stains and sweat smelling, including the pillow cases).
Tub drain was plugged.
Kitchen sink's faucet was damaged (very difficult to operate the faucet's valve).
Gas fire place switch had a very bad conexion (had to be operated several times for it to work)
Pans for cooking are very old and worn out.
Location is good.
View to the plaza is good.
They left a nice box of Belgian chocolates as a welcone gift.

Great once you’ve got into the room.

The check on procedure is a pain, we had to sign a disclaimer and provide credit card details beforehand. When you arrive you have to follow email instructions with a passcode to enter your room.
Once this was out of the way the rest was great. Location was superb, apartment was clean and comfortable with underground parking inclusive in the price. Coffee shops and restaurants were just downstairs and it was just a ten minute walk to the gondola and chairlifts.

The location was excellent! Steps from village stroll, and shops. Liquor store and drug store down stairs. The downside to #212 is it is in original condition. In this day and age i would expect it to be updated. Dish washer didnt work and sounded like a bearing was gone. Needs work!

Numerous stays in whistler but worst room yet

Room 234 was a descent room but had many issues needing to be addressed. Moulding falling off in bathroom, bathtub drain would not stay in place making tub fill with water, countertop in kitchen with large broken edging falling off, sink leaked Badly, no screens in the windows so bugs flew in while trying to cool room since no air conditioning.

+ Had the utilities necessary in the room
+ Provided ample towels for 3 people
+ Sofabed was decent in size
+ Good location; close to Whistler Village

- The coffee maker and water boiler had grime in them
- Too complex of a check in and check out instructions; would have been nice if there was a front desk to get everything done
- Bedroom did not have a window
- Would have been nice to have a locker for more security at the hot tub

It’s a lovely pleace located right at the action center. Next to all the stores shops and activities. Free parking is a nice bonus. The apartment is big enough and has all the amenities including washer/drier. There is a hot tub on the property. This rental is priced well and expected to do some minor care like taking linen and garbage out, which seems to be a common practice in Whistler. Not having staff on site to ck in require a bit of planning. Like one need phone service to be able to get the initial entry. I had to run to Starbucks and use viber. Otherwise staff on the phone was pleasant and supportive to help me get started and available 24/7. Would return again.

This has been the worst experience of a place to stay in Canada. It is an extremely complicated procedure to sign contracts, pay extra fees and even check in. It is impossible to reach the staff directly. When you telephone their pager service they do not always get back to you, and then say they did not get the message....
Even though hallway renovations have been happening for over a month I was only told 24 hours before check-in and offered an extra late departure for free by way of compensation. I explained that I could not be around paint fumes for medical reasons, but I was assured it was really nothing and no chance of that.
Upon arrival, the shock of the hallway under construction included paint fumes, exposed drywall dust and sections just lying on the ground. There were open electrical sockets, light fittings and emergency exit signs hanging down from the ceiling just by their wires. Not all the lights were even there so it was extremely dark. It took a while to find the room as not all doors had numbers.
Once inside the place we learned that the bedside lamp was not working, after making a meal the dishwasher was not working, after filling the sink the plug did not fit and the water drained.
It took quite a few phone calls before we got to speak to anyone. When asking for a different place to stay or a refund it became quite a challenge. I was told that this would be the same situation in a 5 star I am waiting for a refund.

Disappointed

Building very dirty and dark, hallway very spooky, building look abandoned, not safe, unit clean but very hot all day and night, not comfortable to rest at all time. Very noisy all day too, early trucks delivery and night owls screaming and yelling at all times. Don’t recommend anyone to stay here at all.

it was okay if you don't care for appearance

The place was a little beaten up. Lots of tares in the walls/holes and when we got there they had a ton of insulation piled outside of out room so it wasn't in the best shape while we stayed.
