This hotel was real quality. Even though it is a big hotel we heard no noise from other guests. The food was excellent and the location beautiful overlooking the marina. There was some road noise but as I live on a busy road in the UK it did not bother me. Overall I would like to come back again next year and would recommend it to friends

The staff are unreal here. The service for drinks and food was exceptional.

Tips- the balconies are really low. If you have a fear of heights or don't like being high it's definitely better to get a lower floor.

Horrible Value…Not worth it… nothing like photos!

When we got there, we were asked to pay an additional fee for a second person even though the room was listed as a double room. When we got to the room, it looked nothing like what was pictured, old beat up furniture, stained upholstery, old bathroom, not cleaned in detail, Cracked tile and spaces in the wood flooring, the freezer in the mini fridge was frozen and over flowing. Just overall not good. Falsely advertised. Looks as if they may have updated some rooms and used those for the photos. Definitely would not ever stay again. I have some photos to post but realized the others I took were uploaded directly in the chat with hotels.com when I was trying to report this upon arrival

Awful hotel, terrible restaurant

Just shocking! My son (13 years old) ordered fish and chips for dinner (cost €24) and received uncooked fish half frozen inside (see pic). Luckily we’ve noticed but this could have easily give him a bad food poisoning. When we said something they just re-cooked the fish. Still charged us and no care!!! When I went to complain at reception I was told there is no manager around and no one in charge is available????? So again no care. We’ve also had to change rooms during our stay because of an awful smell coming from the sink in the bathroom. We’ve complained - someone came to spray something in the room which did not help at all. It was literally like being in an awful public toilet! When we complained again - no manager, no one to help. So I left messages to be contacted by email - 4 days later and nothing! Awful!!
DEFINITELY NOT A 4* HOTEL. Shocking service and restaurants chef can’t cook but still happy to charge. Could do with better clean too

Nice hotel. Great location. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice with aircon that works well. The bathrooms are not very modern and maybe could benefit from some renovation. Overall, I’d recommend it and I’d be happy to stay here again.

Our room was very tiny but clean, we also enjoyed coming into a cool room after the heat outside.
100% will stay there again, front desk staff not so friendly, may be language barrier, the pregnant lady we saw at check in was very nice, others, not so much.

Hotel Bellver is very well-located in the heart of Palma, facing to “ paseo marítimo” . The hotel was so nice .My room was basic but had everything I needed for my stay,it was clean, with an acceptable bathroom. The pool and restaurant area were very pretty with a beautiful view to the city, and staff super friendly.We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Mallorca.

Needs renovating!

Hotel Bellver is in a great location and is competitively priced. However. The rooms seriously need refurbishment. On the city side of the Hotel the double glazing is inadequate to stop the road noise. The marina side rooms are better but there are road works in front of the hotel that have been going on for over a year and have another year left! During winter, the AC system only gives out heat so on warm winter days. Of which Mallorca has many!, you have to open windows and suffer more noise!
The bathrooms are really outdated.

Nice modern property, rooms are standard but perfectly functionaly. Breakfast is varied but found the hot food not very hot. The location is great for sightseeing approx 20/25 min walk but there are buses and hop on hop off bus stop close by.
Only negative is that they are currently doing major road works along the main road that runs around the marina so can be a bit noisy when sitting by the pool....

Pros: Excellent communal areas that are kept to a high standard. Lovely pool area and breakfast terrace. Great food. Pleasant staff. We paid for a ‘city view’ and still had a great view of the marina and harbour although our friends were facing the back of the building so this was just luck!
Cons: even on the 10th floor we could hear a lot of outside noise including people walking home from nights out at all hours of the night (and I sleep with ear plugs). The rooms also deserve an upgrade to the same standard as the rest of the hotel, as it’s like entering a whole new hotel once you’re up there!
If in the future the rooms were upgraded I would definitely stay again for the luxury of a large hotel with pool in such a great city location.

The hotel was quite old and it was way over-expensive for what it is. The staff indications were all wrong. They were nice, but not really knowleageable.

Not a 4* hotel- service poor.

When we went to check in at the 2pm time stated the hotel would not let us and told us that hotels.com were wrong and the check in time was 3pm. We sat and waited this extra hour with our bags and then the room was still not ready. The staff on reception were rude and rolled their eyes at us. Disappointing to say the least. The lifeguard around the pool again was rude when we asked why the pool was shut early. This hotel is a little out of town and we ended up getting the bus into the centre. Bang average hotel- I would avoid staying here again.

Hotel centrico y habitaciones comodas

El hotel muy bien ubicado a 15 minutos aproximadamente del centro histórico de Palma con Farmacias, restaurantes y supermercados a pocos metros. Las habitaciones sencillas y comodas. Lo unico fue que una de las habitaciones que tome tenia un olor como a caneria y en la otra se escuchaba todo lo que hablaban en la habitación de al lado. Los elevadores muy lentos. En cuanto al servicio al llegar nos atendió una chica blanca, cabello chocolate y ojos claros que la verdad a todo le decia que no. Pedi 2 recámaras juntos con tiempo y me dijo que no habia, le pregunté si podia dejar el carro afuera mientras hacia el check inm me dijo que no sabia, las horas de los desayunos no sabia. Con esa cara de brava la verdad y casi me voy. Nos dijo que para llegar al estacionamiento debiamos subir las escaleras diagonales y después bajar, resulta que si me metia por el tunel subia un piso y llegaba al parking directo. Por ultimo, el desayuno del hotel muy bueno y completo. El servicio de limpieza muy bueno.

questionable stay

The room was very old with some cracks in the ceiling and bad soundproof, as I could hear everything from the upstairs guest. The bathroom was clean.

The housekeeping kept disturbing and coming into the room without even knocking the door. I was getting changed and they just came in which was very uncomfortable. I asked the reception to knock the door before coming in but it kept happening.
The staff was friendly otherwise.

Nice hotel but definitely overpriced

Paid for a room with sea view but was given a room with a view over an air conditioning unit. Called reception and they sorted straight away which was good. Bit of a queue/wait at reception but staff on the deck attentive once they understood what we were after. Nice pool and lovely bar staff there who were very attentive. Just the pool was v busy as it’s quite small. Overall a nice place to stay once we’d sorted out the room issue. But definitely overpriced at well over £200 a night.

If you like noise and teens… perfect.

This was our first trip to the island. The hotel was in a terrific spot. It was just filled with teenagers running around all night. The hotel next door had teens spitting out of their windows onto the outdoor staircase. The breakfast was ok. The pool was crowded. We took day trips away from the area and ate dinner in town when we got back. Daniel was the best part of the experience. He gave us great suggestions on where to go and which beaches best met our needs. He suggested restaurants that we liked and helped us secure taxis. Other than that… I would not recommend this hotel.
