+Staff were friendly and were able to prepare the room sooner than the check in time.
+Room’s spacious (Queen Room for 2 people) and had a good range of amenities (body wash, shampoo, coffee machine, bottled water, iron and safe)
+Good night sleep

- Room was dusty all over.
- noise transfer from balcony door was very loud like the door seal wasn’t working. On a busy main road so a lot of noise from cars.

Overall, a good stay for the money. 10min walk to the city centre of Palma. A lot of restaurants in the area if you didn’t want to walk too far

I would not recommend this hotel. From the moment I walked in, there was a distinct unpleasant smell throughout the property. The place felt old, poorly maintained, and in need of serious renovations. The location didn’t help either, it’s in a run-down area surrounded by numerous Thai massage parlors, right on a busy intersection where traffic noise was constant day and night.
The WiFi didn’t work at all during my stay, and when I asked the staff for help, they were rude and dismissive. In fact, the staff’s general attitude was unwelcoming, and they offered no useful assistance, not even with basic local recommendations. Overall, this was one of the least pleasant hotel experiences I’ve had between the smell, the noise, the poor service, and the outdated facilities, I regretted booking here. Shocked that this is a Marriot.

I would’ve marked my overall rating a lot higher but I was misled by the staff on the building parking. The cost was never discussed and I was under the impression that it was going to be free. When i checked out i was charged $30 EUR a night for parking when there was free street parking thay I would’ve been completely fine with. The interaction rubbed me the wrong way and lack of transparency doesnt feel great.

Disappointing stay. The staff was unclear about extra bed charges, and the parking lot was full, forcing us to park on the street where our car window was broken. The area felt unsafe, and the poor treatment at checkout only made things worse. Wouldn't recommend.

Hotel has a nice bar / lounge area the location is convenient however the rooms are all facing an extremely busy cross road and it’s impossible to sleep without ear plugs. We had to buy some from the pharmacy next door the next day. Room was clean, would have been nice to provide some soap to wash hands (we had to use the shower gel provided in the shower). Staff were very polite and accommodating.

A good hotel one street up from the harbour. Restaurants on all four corners of the crossroads. Easy walk to castle, cathedral and town. About 30 mins to the beach, not really a hotel for summer beaching but excellent for town and food. 20 mins from airport…very nice. Breakfast excellent.

Rude staff and things missing/stolen from room

Clean and comfortable, and good location. However we had some problems with the staff. One person in the group had a dress gone missing from her room, and we suspect that is was stolen. When she addressed the receptionist (a young man) he was very rude and not willing to help at all. He did not inform her that she needed to contact the police and did not help instruct her how to. Fortunately another more experienced staff member was able to help and got her in touch with the police. Because of this it would not feel safe to return to this hotel.

The staff at this hotel is amazing. They were very gracious to my parents, throughout their stay. But most impressively, my bridal veil was damaged by a laundry service in the USA. Though no fault of their own, the hotel staff coordinated services to have my veil repaired and steamed in less than 6 hours, ready for my special day.

Hello, I had a very bad experience and here are my comments.
1)I called one day before asking for parking. The receptionist told me 'dont worry there is no problem, when you arrive we will provide you with private parking' however when I arrived the other receptionist told me 'you had to pre-book parking because we only have 7 places therefore is fully booked'and I had no parking in the end (!) although I called to make sure this doesnt happen.
2) When we arrived there is no place to unload the car with luggage. bare in mind I am travelling with kinds hence loads of luggage, strollers, baby in arms, car seat, etc..
3) My husband was looking for parking as it was a busy night there was nothing available nearby so I got down the car and went to the lobby to ask for advice and there was nobody at the desk for about 15 mins.
4) I asked for help at the reception and a guy called Alberto told me'I am alone hence I cannot help you.
5) Alberto was very rude and unwelcoming. I was very surprised because as a Marriot Bonvoy I am not used to this rudeness.
6) I asked for a baby bed crib, he replied 'if I find one I will send it to you but I think they are all taken'.

Very clean and friendly staff. The pillows are very uncomfortable and lumpy though which was disappointing and didn't fit with the great mattress and detail in the rest of the hotel. Location was ok but it was about a 15 minute walk from town, 25 min walk to the beach and in the heat, this is a lonnnng way to walk. It is near the marina, but there is no beach there.

The hotel is clean. Staff are superb. But it's really really let down by the road noise.
I stayed in room 206 overlooking traffic lights. It's so noisy the French window vibrates.
The staff friendliness,hotel interior, beds, car park and gym were all immaculate, but even so due to the noise I wouldnt stay again.
Fitting double glazing would make this a lovely hotel in a perfect location.

After a disasterous villa letting we decide to abandon and relocate to Palma half way through our one week stay. Hotel well located - a 15min walk from the city centre. Clean and room was comfortable. Only issue we had was the bathroom sink and shower not draining quickly enough. No bones about it this is a perfect hotel for business users, it was good for us (a wife and 2 year old) as a way of fixing a holiday that was close to being a disaster.

First impression was that the room and bathroom are very luxurious and spacious with an extra large TV. A little bit noisy outside but considering location that’s to be expected and didn’t affect our sleep during our 5 night stay. Only downside was that there wasn’t a dressing table/desk with mirror by a socket in the bedroom to do hair and makeup so I had to do it in the bathroom standing up

If you need to modify your reservation you have to email them instead of call. I wasted huge amount of time by trying to call, actually talking to hotel staff. The email isn’t on the website and web form won’t reach the hotel. It was frustrating that I was talking to a hotel staff but in order to change reservation I have to go back to my room to send him an email. Also breakfast was overpriced as 16 euro. The price wasn’t listed in the welcome letter so we assumed it’s included in the accommodation and we were shocked to receive the bill later.

Worth considering

This hotel is worth considering if more central hotels are booked up or too expensive. It's at a busy junction which means it's quite noisy. After one night we asked to be moved to a more quiet room, but even then had to keep the windows shut and the AC on all night. It's only 15 mins walk into the centre and there are plenty of buses. We were offered breakfast for 10 Euros each but decided against it because we wanted something more simple and there are plenty of bars nearby serving breakfast. It's a business hotel rather than tourist, but that made no difference to us.

Good city hotel, close to all sights

Not having been to Palma before we feared this hotel would be too far out. Not a bit, easy walking distance of the cathedral, 2 minutes from the harbour. This is a city hotel and is a comfortable international standard. Comfortable bed, good AC. Lovely green marble bathroom with excellent shower, nice towels and plenty of good quality toiletries. Helpful and friendly reception staff who helped with directions, calling taxis, changing pillows etc. The buffet breakfast was very good too.
No kettle or tea and coffee facilities in the room would be my only complaint.
Highly recommended though, we would stay again for longer next time. Taxi to the airport took 15 minutes and cost 12 euros.

Was very nice! Excellent staff, even though some of them had very limited English. Room service was nice and affordable. Bathroom was very impressive - green marble, glass vanity and shiny silver fittings. ONLY issue - we had a western facing room so it was quite warm - couldnt seem to get the temperature down to a really comfie level. Would I stay there again? A definite YES!

Nice hotel located 2 minutes from the marina, and 10 minute walk to the old town and shopping area. Easy to get to beaches such as playa de Palma (bus 25 from passeig de born). We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but plenty of local places to have a continental breakfast for around 3 euros per person. Staff were really nice, happily printed our flight tickets and contrary to some other reviews did not charge us to leave our cases for a few hours after checking out. Only downside is that to you need to pay to use wifi in your room.

I booked the room as part of my plan to chill out away from home and work for a few days. The staff were friendly and helpful, speaking excellent English (as my Spanish is poor to say the least!), and the check in process was smooth. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and looked quite impressive. On closer inspection there were a couple of minor issues (a knob missing off a cupboard, bathroom ceiling looking a little stained etc) the most obvious one being a hole in the bedspread. This is being picky, it did not detract from the comfort or functionality of the room. On the maintenance front the only issue I had was that the shower plughole was somewhat blocked, which meant the shower tray was quick to fill (no long showers alas!).
Location-wise it was very handy for local bars and restaurants, and on the public transport links if you don't want to walk to the centre. The only drawback is that it is located on a rather busy junction, and with the locals' passion for loud motorbikes and liberal use of their horns earplugs were essential for a good night's sleep.

Perfect for business stay

This hotel is up to Mariott standard, and right in the heart of Palma. But the rooms only have small balconies and mine faced the noisy Main Street - I think most of them do, even with windows closed it's a bit noisy. The breakfast room is in the basement with no windows, and no hot food, only cold. But for a simple business stay, it was fit for purpose. I would not recommend this if you are after a relaxing holiday where you can chill out and enjoy yourself though!

Good location with a good view of the marina.

This was a great hotel with a very comfortable room with excellent facilities.
The breakfast was excellent value and the restaurant staff were very helpful and pleasant.
However the receptionists were rather abrupt and generally unhelpful.
The only real disappointment was that the rooms did not have a safe which meant we had to carry all our currency and passports with us which was a concern.
Would definitely consider this hotel again.

Loved Mallorca but hotel a little above average

Cumfy bed. Close to the port and some nice cafes around the hotel. Nice beach at the end of route on bus number 3, best in Palma according to a local. Staff member at front desk named Sara was not friendly or helpful at all. Room floors were dirty when we arrived. After the first night cleanliness was okay. Bed comfortable and room quiet.

Perfect for a short stay, busy local area.

It is a wonderful hotel, around an €8 taxi to the main Calla Mayor beach and about €20 from the airport. Lots of amazing local bars and restaurants in walking distance. There's a bar called mojitos that make the best....wait for it....mojitos for €5 just over the road. All full of locals and so friendly.
The area is a short walk from the main sights, the cathedral and art gallery. Old town is also a 10 minute walk away.

It's a mainly business orientated hotel, it has free wifi in reception but a €10 charge per day in the rooms - smoking rooms available. Nice selection of bits in reception with a €14 charge for breakfast. There is no pool or other leisure facilities - but for a quick break this is no problem. Reasonable rates and the staff are very helpful. It's easy to get a cab from outside but no real rank.

Good hotel in a convenient location!

A very pleasant, clean and comfortable hotel which serves excellent breakfasts. The staff are very helpful and polite. A stone's throw from the marina and beaches and only 10 minutes on foot from the elegant old town of Palma.

Great location!

Great location, I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Palma. Super clean rooms, the staff was very accommodating.

Great Marina location

Extremely nice staff, good location, disappointed that the restaurant closes during the weekend, no free platinum breakfast nor lounge, barely a bar to visit, nice clean room with new bathrooms. As long as you don't need a bar and restaurant within, this is a good choice.

Nice and Quiet stay

The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast for very good valur for money and the room rates also. I strongly recommend this hotel.
