Nice enough hotel, a bit vanilla. Everything is ok but nothing about the hotel feels four star.
A good three star.
Double room was very small, no side unit on one side & not blackout as described.
Gym is decent but opens too late in the morning.
Well located for the main city & ideal for the theatre.

I was shocked and very disappointed that my bed was not made and room cleaned daily. Only new floor mat provided on one day. Having my bed made etc. is why I choose to stay in a hotel and not apartments or Air b&b.
The use of the request card should have been made clear at check in. I think staying in a hotel it should be completely standard that the bed is made and room cleaned daily. It should not be by request.

I would recommend this hotel. Better than photos. Staff excellent. Would definitely return. Enjoyed our walks into the old town, however there are lots of buses if preferred and lots of restaurants / bars / cafes nearby.

Great hotel for exploring Palma. Walkable to old town Palma. Not far from restaurants. Hotel clean and comfortable. Has Spa (did not use). Outdoor pool very nice and great area with loungers. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff cheerful and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Rapid taxi service.
Nothing wrong with the hotel building but little that shines out. Room wasn't the biggest and typical situation of a double bed means two singles pushed together.
Location is walkable to the centre of Palma, but not a huge amount in the area.

Lager wasn’t cold at the pool bar.
€3.50 for a can of Fanta is a bit excessive.
Menus on the table at the pool bar at 6pm but no food available until 7pm.
Rooms small and basic but very clean and had all you need for a city break, including a fridge and a safe.
Hotel staff great. Location is fine - a few streets back from the promenade and about a mile into the old town where most of the bars and restaurants are.
Plenty of beds at the pool

It’s fine for a good price, but not luxury

Visited with my daughter on a birthday treat stay for her. There were pros and cons with our stay:

Pros: beds very comfortable, pool area quite nice, location as described and fair for price, breakfast buffet and bar food nice options and reasonable price.

Cons:
1. Staff are not here to help, they just feed back a professional ‘we are sorry to hear’ for any issues and then do nothing. For example we had an issue with ants all over the floor of our room- they said they sent a cleaner and she couldn’t see anything and then when I asked again they said ‘we already sent the cleaner, she did everything she could’ so we just swept them away ourselves- not ideal and quite gross! Also we called down for shampoo and conditioner and they just said ‘sorry we don’t have any’ even though there is a sign in the room saying you can call if you need anything…
2. On arrival, even though they swipe a credit card for deposit they still want a €10 CASH deposit if you want pool towels- I didn’t have local cash for a short stay and just off a plane travelling since 3am the reception lady suggested I walk to a cash point. This is very annoying!
3. The spa is for 16 and over which is not stated on Hotels.com and was very disappointing for my daughter.
4.The WiFi is terrible so if you’re bringing teens, they will complain that they can’t scroll videos or watch Netflix.

Hotel Isla Majorca is a comfortable, clean, well-located hotel that provides great onsite services and the convenience of walkable access to many useful amenities: restaurants, groceries, historic sites - everything you need. The pool is nice, the pool bar is nicer, the lobby cafe offers a convenient coffee-plus start to the day. Really pleasant and accommodating.

Could not fault this property at all. We were skeptical that we were not going to be close enough to the old town upon arrival, however the 20 minute walk into town was lovely and we enjoyed our experience much more knowing we could stop into one of many bars on route into the old town.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The room was clean, modern and not too cramped. We stayed in the standard room and thought it was certainly one of the better rooms we’ve had for this price range. We spent most of our time around the adults pool which was quiet and tranquil. The pool side bar is convenient, but expensive for what you get. We preferred going to the Mercadona around the corner and buying our own bits and bobs for lunches.

The spa is a MUST. It was my first time going to a spa however my girlfriend considers herself an experienced spa attendee and she was absolutely blown away at the amenities the spa had to offer. The spa has a 13 step process it recommends you follow which includes the pool, sauna , steam room , plunge pool, jacuzzi, lymphatic showers, acupuncture stones for your feet. The list goes on. The best part, all this was €12 per person.

The location is amazing. You are on the outskirts so you have many cheaper bars and restaurants nearby however if you head 5 minutes into town you’re surrounded by much more upmarket bars and restaurants. It’s about a 3 minute walk to the marina.

We stayed three nights and could not recommend it enough.

Really enjoyed our week at HIM Hotel & Spa. The breakfast was amazing. Room was in good shape and the balcony was nice. Front desk people were friendly and helpful; ditto Alberto and bar staff. Tried to keep our towels for the day, but they changed them daily anyway. Good weight room and pool area but water temperature in October was a little cool.

Algo que estropeó completamente mi estadía fue el ruido. En particular en la habitación 119, al lado hacia la calle hay una puerta de acceso de empleados que con frecuencia sueltan y golpea fuerte al cerrar. Esto en la habitación se escucha como una explosión, lo que todos los días entre 7.30 y 8.30 de la mañana me despertaba reiteradas veces.
Otro punto a mejorar es el blackout, no es bueno y deja pasar bastante luz del sol.

El hotel en sí no está mal, está bastante bien aunque por el precio uno esperaría mucho más

The hotel in general looks decent. The staff is kind but we had no water to shower or in the sink the morning of our check out which is totally unacceptable. Also the elevators were broken the whole time we were there. I was expecting a lot more from this 4 star hotel and what i paid for.

Our 4 night break was superb, the staff are all extremely both friendly and helpful, nothing appears to be too much trouble.
The room with the terrace made our late afternoon a real treat, enjoying a glass of wine whilst catching the sun laying on our sun beds.

Lovely hotel, terrible plumbing noises

Great location and a lovely modern hotel.
Rooms are simply decorated, but clean and functional. Nice small balcony.
Service was great and the gym is well equipped.
Negatives: the balcony light doesn’t turn off until the small hours, so if you don’t shut your curtains there’s an annoying light.
The rooms are very noisy, if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
Constant noises from plumbing rattling through the bathroom walls and from neighbouring rooms, plus noisy fridges make it very hard to get a good nights sleep.
I did report this on the first night via hotels.com but got no response

This was my third stay at this hotel. It is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. The hotel and outside spaces are well maintained. The hotel rooms are also very nice. The buffet restaurant has quality delicious choices. The only improvement would be the dessert selection - I have lactose intolerance and there was only fresh fruit on offer for me. Other than that, this hotel is wonderful. A short walk into Palma along the Marina.. just perfect. I’ll be back time and time again.

Great pool area with plenty of seating and bar area which serves good food and drinks. Lifeguard available poolside at all times. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast with lots of options and omelette station. Overall we would have expected more in terms of other areas for a 4* property - we were told use of the spa facilities was included on check-in but we were then charged for use on departure (despite us saying we were told use of the facilities was included); only one bottle of water in the room for the entire stay; we had booked a room with a terrace but this was above the reception area where guests seem to be able to smoke outside, meaning our room had a persistent smell of stale cigarette smoke and we sometimes couldn’t sit out on the terrace; cleaning of room was sometimes after 4pm; self-service luggage storage. Good for what we paid as we benefitted from a loyalty discount but unlikely to return if we are ever back in Palma.

We likeed:
- great, walkable location by the port,
- friendly and helpful stuff,
- gym ( almost empty most of the time),
- tasty food,
- room and bathroom size,

The only dislike was when hotel was almost full 24/25/26.12.2023 and it felt a bit overcrowded during dinner and breakfast. In terms of noise we did not notice huge difference.

I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to do a lot of sightseeing, spend time in the city, like walking, cycling.

Lovely hotel with great customer service and great breakfast options. Walkable to restaurants, cafe and 20/30 minutes walk to the centre. Not particularly keen that there was no air conditioning as the air conditioning get switched to heating in the \"winter\" which was 20 degrees when we went in November. This meant our nights were very hot and we couldn't sleep. We eventually got offered a fan on the second night, despite raising the issue on the first night.

Location was okay - taxis are plentiful on the island. I did not use the spa or restaurant, but they looked nice. My main issue was no tea/coffee in the room, no minibar, just an empty fridge and only one bottle of (warm) drinking water in the room. It would have been nice to have found that bottle in the fridge. No \"extras\" in the bathroom either.

Decnt and convenient place to stay. We were quite surprised to be put in a handicap room on the first floor, which put a bit of dampener on the trip as it was so dark without a balcony. Also, when we first arrived, the AC wasn't working and neither was the shower. Both things were fixed as soon as we raised it, but might be good for the hotel to check on these things before people check in.
Staff - the Bar staff were amazing, really friendly and quick, and always attentive. What was not so great was the reception staff working at night, specifically one person who was just plain rude, and not helpful at all. Everyone else were great, but his behaviour was downright unacceptable, and he should not work in service to be honest.

But location wise it was very easy to walk to old town Palma and if you needed a taxi, reception was super quick in ordering that for you.

Im puzzled how this hotel is rated 4 star. Considering other 4 star hotels I have stayed at on Mallorca this hotel does not rank 4 star in service at all. Be aware you will pay for everything! A kettle in the room is 3 euros a day!

Negatives - room was very small and didn’t feel save having the balcony open as we was put on the 1st floor overlooking the car park.
Room 119 you can hear when the rooms above flush the toilet and then a constant dripping pipe for 5 minutes after. Not ideal.
Location is further out than I’d have liked but that’s probably my own fault as it seemed closer to attractions on the maps
€50 euro for late check out also as an FYI for those with late flights like we did but you can store luggage

This was our second visit here so it was a hotel we really like. Sadly on this occasion it failed to meet our expectations. No room service after 22:30. No food available after 23:00 at the pool bar .. we arrived late due to delays at immigration so trawled the streets at midnight on a Sunday trying to find food. No drinks available in your room apart from 1 bottle of water. A cotton bud left on the bathroom floor from a previous guest that after 3 visits by the cleaner was still in the same place when we checked out
However a word of advice , if you book this hotel ensure you book the'free cancellation ' option . We had a family issue a week before we travelled and asked if we could rearrange our trip, Expedia also intervened and we were basically told 'hard luck' . I fully understand this was my fault but some understanding would have been appreciated, so we had no option but to travel , frankly we are very disappointed and sadly will not be staying here again due to our very poor customer experience

Weekend break - clean comfortable room with an excellent breakfast, highlight being the made to order omelet by a delightful chef.
Choice of sun loungers available at both pools and reasonably priced pool bar.
Good location - 20 to 30 minute safe walk to the centre. Bikes available to hire for the day for €10 and enjoyable safe 20 minute cycle to the beach on assigned bike paths.
Staff all very helpful and look forward to returning in the future.

Absolutely brilliant, faultless. Staff friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel and grounds maintained and presented to a very high standard. Room modern and more than adequate. Went half board and impressed by quality of breakfast and evening meal. Great location. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning.

Hotel refers to itself as a Urban Oasis. A great definition and a great place to hang. A few km from the beach area and 2km from shopping, a paradise for walkers. Overall an enjoyable experience.
