I had an amazing stay! The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. I loved how convenient the location was easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The ocean view from my room was beautiful, and it made every morning feel special. Definitely a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I’ll be coming back!

The hotel is fine, front desk team were helpful and friendly as were all the restaurant and pool staff. Room was quite dated despite being a highly graded room and quite dark in a corner. Biggest issue was the noise from the massive construction around and in front of the hotel so it wasn’t particularly restful or pleasant during our stay.

If you fancy a going back to late 80,s stay here. Its extremely dated .and everything looks worn out and the hotel reception staff where rude and un helpful. The guy that manages the pool area was the best guy there.

It may have been 5 stars back in the 80,s its more lile 3 stars now . Lastly if you have a room on the lower floors bewarned its noisy at night due to the night club next door

Positives: very nice room and bath with lovely view of the Marina. Restaurant was excellent both nights we went. Beautiful decor in public areas.
Negatives: it took an extraordinarily long time to check in. Two associates were working with two clients who evidently required extra help. A third associate should have been called. The pillows were awful. They are enormous and uncomfortable to sleep on. Would recommend a selection.
If you want to be near the tourist zone, this isn’t the place for you. However, if you want a quiet area with excellent restaurants nearby, then this is perfect.

Everything about Gran Victoria oozed class. The staff and management were approachable and supportive and were top class.
The views of the yacht basin and the harbour in general was amazing even if on some days spoilt by the super cruise ships.

5 stars hotel

Checking was a bit disorganized, not really a line and people cutting in line without any reaction from the staff. Some areas need some attention but other than that, this hotel has real 5 stars amenities in the room (like bed turnover at night with chocolate on the pillow and night slippers by the bed), impeccable rooms and great beds! Every staff member was extremely nice and helpful, congratulations to all and management for such a well run hotel! We will come back for sure.

We arrived at the beginning of a busy weekend, check in slow, we were allocated a room much smaller, poss 22 sqm, than the one we reserved and paid for, 34 sqm. Another room was offered at an additional €90 per night. The bathroom was tiny. Turn down service happened 2 out of 6 times. Communication v poor. No compensation offered. Poor great. Lots of building work so v noisy

Stayed here just for one night. Service is fantastic, quality is high. Room was nice, not brand new, but very comfortable with a bed a mile wide. The bathroom looked stunning, although I did have an issue directing the shower where its needed. The breakfast was superb on the terrace with a stunning view of the marina & overlooking the pool.
The menu for dining did seem very limited with without any clear information whether vegetetables etc, come with the dish so we ate elsewhere. We did use the bar where service is great. Bottled beer was €7 with complementary dishes of walnuts & almonds etc on the table.
Would definitely go back.

I travel quite a bit. This hotel ranked right up there. The place is airy, comfortable, nicely furnished and the staff could not be any more accommodating, helpful, friendly and service-oriented. The restaurant is excellent as are the bars and my new favorite bartender, Samir (Sam). Highly recommende.

Perfect hotel for a short stay in Palma. The staff were helpful, quick and friendly. Whenever we asked for anything they were quick to get it and help out. We stayed in a partial sea view room, which was exactly as stated. Nice balcony to sit and have a coffee looking out to sea. The beds were comfy with lots of pillows. The products in the room were plentiful and smelt lovely. The facilities in the hotel were great. Order a coffee in a morning and get a croissant with it, nice touch. The hotel is a pleasant 30min walk from the centre, so it’s in a quieter neighbourhood and lovely location on the front. Perfect hotel for what we needed. Quiet enough to sleep, buzzy at breakfast, very clean and today and lovely ambience.

Amazing hotel

The hotel was amazing, staff where so helpful, our bedroom was kept spotless and everynight they turned the bed covers back and left chocolate s on the bed. Those little extras made our stay very special. The hotel is situated in a perfect spot, views amazing and watching the sunset coming up when having breakfast was a sight to see.

Hotel area was lovely . It said delux room which it wasn’t . Everything was old in the room and mismatched furniture . Our friends that had classic room had a much bigger bathroom and ours you could not swing a cat in it . Room dis not have a partial sea view as promised

The hotel is five star however we would give 3 star. The hotel pool area is not very nice. Gym very small for two people maximum. The hotel area is vey dusty and dirty, building side all around hotel. This means the view is not great and the noise from the building side all day long. We were on half board basis and the last day that we had to get continental breakfast to the room we have been charged £5! It is not about the money but about the principle. Hotel should not charge us, we already paid for breakfast and should provide us breakfast normally, even if it was 30 min before they started the breakfast service in the main breakfast area. We rented a car from the hotel and gave back the car on the same day and we have been charged for overnight parking although we have gave back the car at 8pm. Dinner on half board was not great. Same menu every day, i chose seabass every day as other food like meat, was not great. Would not choose half board again in this hotel. Dinner outside the hotel would be much better idea.
The highlight of the trip was the gentleman working in the guest service. He was so helpful and always gave a good advice regarding excursions around Mallorca.

We really enjoyed our 8 days at the Hotel. It was very relaxing. The staff, generally, were very friendly and made us fee welcome.
The only down side during our stay was that there was a building site next door (building refurbishment with a big crane) and the road between the hotel and the sea was a building site > plus the associated building noise.

The Gran Melia in Palma is now a bit tired, and in need of renovation. It's not quite as modern or as plush as other Gran Melia hotels, but is still a good place to stay in Mallorca.

The location was good for a resort style hotel. Staff were good and helpful.
Room was pretty dated and in need of upgrading. Pool area was ok but the pool needs updating. The terrace and restaurant/lobby were nice. Breakfast was good. We didn’t eat any other meals as prices are very high at the restaurant/pool bar/lobby bar.

Best of all was the amazing variety of foods offered on the breakfast buffet, from eggs cooked to order to fruits, yogurts, and delicious fresh pastries.

1. Reception is very very rude. (No smile. Like my boss)
2. Room is very very small (melia room) not worthy. The door is close with Gap.. all noizy things come to your room.
Not clean enough.. like very old hotel.
3. Breakfast.. unbelivable breakfast.. everyday same.. very simple no vegatable.. it is not for 5star it is like 2.5star hotel's breakfast.

I really disappointed with this hotel.

The staff made our stay one to remember. We celebrated my partner’s birthday at the hotel, two lovely members of staff brought her a cake and sang ‘Happy birthday’ to her in Spanish. We had a very relaxing time, the room was nice and the general atmosphere in the hotel was pleasing. Great views from the terrace and a delectable breakfast. We’ll definitely stay again. Thank you to the hotel’s staff for making our stay so pleasant.

i travel for a living and (luckily) regularly stay in 5 star hotels, this just isn't one of them. that feeling of luxury you should get with 5 stars (and the price tag) just isn't here.

1.the food is awful, worst quality breakfast i've had in a hotel, cheap flavourless ingredients, premier inn does better.

2.many parts of the hotel smell of damp, that shouldn't be a thing at a decent hotel of any star rating.

3.the pics are hugely deceiving as the pool backs on to 5 very busy lanes of traffic, so in addition to constant beeping in busy hours (ALL DAY!!), you can actually smell the fumes!

4.we were in a recently refurbished room, which had over an powering smell new cheap wooden furniture, about as luxurious as sleeping in an ikea warehouse.

we lasted 3 days (of the 5 day stay) and checked into a proper 5 star hotel (salt, port adriano), in short, this hotel is very disappointing indeed.

We booked a classic room knowing we would not have harbour view but didn't expect this. Also was above laundry room so woken up at 6am with a lot of noise. Staff friendly but 5 stars it is not. I have contacted the hotel on several issues.

High expectations met on visit to Palma.

This return trip provided us again with a wonderful, relaxing experience in a formal (but not \"stuffy\") hotel, replete with all the amenities we needed and desired. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and allows guests with varied appetites to become completely satisfied. This visit we dined at the hotel and had a wonderfully prepared and presented dinner. The location, across from the marina, is beautiful. This property is a bit costly in comparison to other local options, but is worth every cent.

Nice foyer. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was okay but unsuitable for children because it offers no shade and is rather deep at the shallow end. Shade is also very scarce, lying on banana lounges--ok for those who want to bake themselves until they look like sultanas but not so good if you care about sun damage. Location of the hotel is not great. Had to walk for 25 minutes every time we wanted to go to anything of interest in Palma. Looked good on the map when I booked but it is in a bad area.

Service at the pool is terrible and food is over-priced. We ordered tuna tataki one day and it was quite good. The next day it was half the size, was missing key ingredients in the salad and served in a basket so salad dressing leaked everywhere. The staff were dismissive, so I raised it with the front desk manager. He promised to get back to me but never did.

Loved Mallorca and will return, but definitely not to this out-of-the-way hotel.
