However, receptionist charged me a different price to pay at property when I've asked her to check 3 times on 2 occasions on the day of check in, the next morning they called me at 8AM mentioning that I am the one who made the mistake...

Very clean hotel with nice pool area.

Very clean hotel. Nice pool area with drinks and food available. Location of the hotel was on quite a steep hill and a good 10/15 bus ride into palma and a 10 min walk to the port area. Some of the staff were very nice at the hotel, a lot more approachable than others. We liked that it was situated out of the city centre but if you're mobility isn't too good it may be difficult.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is delicious! The pool was great. We had parking on the property it was super convenient (€10/night). We walked to great restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend this place if you have a car because it’s outside of Palma.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Beds made every day. New towels every day if required. Good selection of food at breakfast. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from Porto Pi shopping centre near to the cruise ships and ferries. 45 minutes walk to the cathedral and old town but a taxi will get you there in minutes. Excellent all round.

Balcony with a view, was actually a view of a hedge, a tree and ground level next to the car park where you could literally climb over the wall onto my balcony, this did make me feel a little unsafe so i left it locked and didnt use it.

The hotel is new, so all the areas are very well preserved and clean. The room was big and comfortable . Loved the full lengh mirror in the bedroom. It could have a microwave and a kettle.
The pool was beautiful, but you can only be inside up to 7pm, which is not nice for the summer season (up to 9 would be perfect).
The gym is small, but really good.
The guys in the reception are very gentle.
Overall, my stay was good, but its position up the hill made the accesss a bit difficult.

Everyone was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast had a good range of hot and cold options with also some health.

Swimming pool area was lovely, with a variety of seating/lounger/beds. Life guard on duty kept everything ordered and tidy as folks arrived and left.

Was a lovely spontaneous and unexpected touch for a gift to be left in our room on the day of my partner's birthday during our stay.

Elena who checked us in was friendly she greeted us in a happy professional manner she thanked us for choosing BQ. We had experienced a bad Cruise due to the Weather. We walked in tired and grumpy not knowing what service to expect. Yet her greeting said it all, she made our stay at BQ enjoyable as we were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary. She went the extra step and provided us with a bottle of Champagne to celebrate and we thank her for that extra service. The breakfast and restaurant staff was also very friendly, the food was amazing a full hot breakfast. Would I stay here or recommend it to others \"YES\". I would keep the staff if I were management they make a difference its not just the hotel or amenities.

Loved this hotel. Its a small quiet hotel slightly out of the main pamla town, but worrh the wslk in. The room we had was very spacious 2 balconies, well supplied kitchwn area, good air conditioning whoch was needed. Breakfast fantastic range. Pool area kept really clean, lots of loungers and umbrellas for shade.
Definitely recommend and definitely would return.

Nice modern hotel, pleasant room with a nice balcony. Had a bit of trouble with noise -- maybe just a noisy resident upstairs. Reception were fantastic - tried to get another room despite the Easter rush, offered to speak to the people in the room above etc. Still pretty noisy though. Fantastic breakfast - well worth the ten Euro. Location is a bit 50/50 -- quite far from the town, but close to the port and with restaurants and bars along Joan Miro avenue a little way down. Some parts of the neighborhood looked a bit grubby but hard to say. Palma seems to have a graffitti problem everywhere so might actually be really high end.

The receptionist were really friendly, on the bar we asked to sit outside for consuming our snacks, the barman slapped the door really annoyed about us asking. As well during the dinner we told the waitress that the food was frozen, she took it back and come back saying that the chef said that was ok. Believe me my partner is a chef and it wouldn't never complain for nothing. Really disappointed.

The stay was very nice. The staff were friendly, polite and always happy to help. We had breakfast included and food was not bad. The room is good size and there is outdoor pool and gym, too. The location was peaceful (good for sleep). It is a bit outside city centre, but there is few bus lines to take you to city easily. Alternatively, there is commercial centre nearby. They have McD, pub and stores. We had one glass of beer for €1.50 in one pub. If you have car, there is also parking space available.

Clean but super noisy

The staffs are very friendly and the room is clean. However, I do not recommend booking this hotel (at least for the next few months) if you plan to sleep past 8 am. There is a construction site at the end of the block which looks like they are just starting the job and the walls and windows are not blocking any sound at all. You could also hear every conversation someone had in the hallway through the door (which is sadly quite common among all hotels in my experience).

The hotel staff are not helpful and are quite rude. They have long conversations with people in Spanish when they can see a queue of guests waiting for their attention. It might help to have a couple of people at the reception at the same time.

We booked 2 rooms and one was extremely small, it was supposed to be for 3 people but was way too tight and it was clear that the sofa bed had been crammed in there - we had to squeeze against the wall to get past. The electricity in the second room went out in the morning, despite the key being in. As we were going to check out after breakfast, we did ask for this to be looked at, although the staff were aware of the issue.

During breakfast, many of the items had finished and were not replaced, we went when there was still 1.5 hours left. A staff member came running at me and my family and said we could not sit near the window because it was the bar area, although there was no signs for this and she could see that we had already started eating. She then rung the reception to tell them about us sitting in this area, which we later got questioned about. We seriously did not kbow it was a restricted area and as a family of 5, this was the only area with a table big enough for us.

The rooms have no tea or coffee for making hot beverages and also no kettle. The plug sockets are not near the beds.

One thing I really liked was the free use of a computer and printer in the reception area.

The location is about an hour's walk from Palma city centre but there are good bus services (1 to/from the airport; 3 and 20 to/from Palma). Castle Bellver is a short walk away.

Our stay at BQ Augusta was great. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff are very friendly.

We stayed last week for 4 days. I know it’s the end of April so not the hottest weather but the pool was freezing this is the only con along with the beds being 2 singles and not 1 double.

But these minor disadvantages are easily ignored as everything else was amazing. Breakfast is great for a hotel and the TV in the room even has English channels.

Will definitely be returning to Bq Augusta.

Reception and restaurant staff were excellent - couldn’t do enough to help. I requested a cot bed in advanced and on arrival this was already set up in my room. When I then asked for an extra bin, this was provided at first request. I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness; whilst it was ok on arrival, the room was not cleaned well during my stay. This included only changing the sheets once a week and not replacing towels with fresh ones when they were left on the ground; at times, towels were picked up and simply put back on the rack. This was very disappointing especially in a room with an infant. It would have been lovely to have an indoor pool or at least access to one at a neighbouring hotel.

The kindliness of the staff was amazing. They make you feel comfortable in every situation - for me this aspect is more important than everything else. Nevertheless also the accommodation itself gave no reason to complain. i stayed there to explore the isle by car going for some hiking tours. it turned out to be a perfect little spot outside of the city centre but still close enough with a beautiful view over the city from the balcony.

Smart modern hotel in a quiet neighbourhood

Very pleasant hotel up the hill From the Mariba innPalna which is very lively in the evening with many bars and clubs. Whilst the hotel does not offer views of the bay it has a nice pool and terrace. Rooms are simple but attractive with good bathrooms. I would have preferred to have an armchair in the room but beds were comfortable. Staff are very friendly helpful and courteous. Free car parking was most welcome and altogether the BQ Augusta offers value for money

Hotel is hardly 10 minutes from the bus stop which can take you to the center in 30 minutes. Bus frequency is great during the day. Hotel is 20 minute walk away from a very famous beach (not sandy) and a shopping center.

Smart, minimalist and stylish. All staff were friendly, helpful & most spoke good English. Twin room was spacious with excellent air-con. Bathroom was big, modern with a huge sink & shower. We stayed for 2 nights & were well looked after. Cocktails and snacks were really good, well presented and very reasonably priced. Late check out until 5pm was well worth paying extra.

This hotel is new, modern, and clean. The rooms are very spacious, and the outdoor patio is a wonderful addition. It is about a 30 minute walk to the port and an easy 5-10 minute drive to the main attractions. The staff is extremely friendly and the breakfast is excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

I would NEVER recommend this hotel, or this area to ANYONE. The service was absolutely horrible. I have no idea how this hotel was so highly rated. It's small, boring, rude/unhelpful staff, no views, mediocre pool/fitness facilities & breakfast. It's basically in the middle of a terribly scary area... No bars or restaurants within close range, NO BEACHES within walking distance. We left this hotel early to go stay in another because it was so terrible.

The Reception Staff were friendly and gave an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant too. The room was clean, had plenty of space, wardrobe space, the bathroom was clean and smart.

The breakfast buffet offers a lot of good choice, only minor irritation was the scrambled eggs and some of the hot food was a bit luke warm, but in the main, you won't be short of choice. I do have to give mention to the fact I was with a fellow traveller who has to have gluten free food and they really did a great job with gluten free breads, brioches and biscuits.

Also a bit of credit to the hotel bar too, it is a little out of town and you could class the bar as being a bit of a captive environment but the prices were pretty fair 2 euros for a small beer, 5 euros for Aperol Spritz, which is comparable to bars in the town.

The location is not central, be prepared for a good 40 minute walk from the hotel to the old town and a couple of sets of stairs to navigate. Because this is on a short but steep hill, I would not recommend the hotel for anyone with mobility issues. There is a bus stop about 5 minutes from the hotel, the number 3 bus operates regularly from Pointpoi in to the town for 1.50 euro. The bus stop for the airport is there too and costs 5 euro each way, it's a pretty decent regular service about 40 minutes each way dependent upon traffic.

A nice, well presented hotel, did not get to try the pool but the area looked well maintained along with the surrounding landscape.

Really good Hotel, close to Palma and harbour

Really good, well run hotel. The Hotel is well positioned, close to Palma. We walked into Palma old town,
in about 30 minutes. The rooms and kitchen areas were spacious and well equipped.
The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. I would like to give a special mention to Carmen who worked in the restaurant. The breakfast each morning was excellent, served until 10.30am.
The quality of food served in the restaurant and pool area was very good, and very reasonably priced!
We would definitely return to this hotel, and recommend it to our friends and to anybody looking for a good
friendly hotel, close to all the amenities!

We stayed there a week and we liked it. The location is a little bit isolated, but with a rental car no problems. Streets are narrow and steep. By walk you must like stairs.
Breakfast was good and incluted in room price. Staff was always friendly. Noise isolation could be better but you cannot choose your neighbours.

I stayed at BQ Augusta for a cycling trip to Mallorca. This is a nice modern hotel and I enjoyed my stay there. The room is spacious, clean and well decorated. I had a room with two twin bed which was fine for me but I expected a double bed rather. The airconditioning system was off as it was considered winter, it was not a big issue as opening the window could cool the room and bring fresh air in. The only downside was that you had to pay extra to use the safe in the room! The hotel has a small bike storage and there are a couple of good bike rentals with good prices around. Also, be prepared to enjoy a very nice breakfast. Please note, if you go for a beach holiday or a city break, this hotel is on top of a hill, and far from tourist attractions or nice beaches. Great hotel, facilities and rooms.

The staff were friendly and happy to help, hotel is a bit outside the city centre but near the bus routes. There was a good variety of food and a pleasant atmosphere. Cleanliness was excellent.

The hotel is very pleasant and the sattf were very professional, it is quite high up and taxis are required for the return journey, but overall a nice place to spend yor time.

Perfect hotel for a city break

We liked this hotel very much: clean and spacious room with balcony, very good breakfast, there was a little fridge in the room too. We also had evening snacks at a reasonable price.
I would recommend it and would return without hesitation.

Good hotel .but situated high on hill .need to be fit to walk to buses,restaurants and sea front. One small criticism of hotel....cooked breakfasts were cold.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff

Very nice hotel, with good size clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful.The hotel is located a bit outside of the centre of Palma, about a 35 minutes' walk. However, it's a very nice walk along the seafront and the port of Palma and has helped us digest all the good food we ate during our stay :-)

Lovely hotel just outside Palma

We were extremely pleased with the quality of service and of the hotel itself. The room was spacious, complete with a table and chairs, as well as a decent balcony with its own table and chairs. The pool area is great with plenty of seating, and the pool itself is well sized with a decent deep end! The included breakfasts are good, and the paid food services are excellent - we had lunch most days at the hotel. BQ Augusta is located within a 10 minute drive from Palma, and there is a bus stop, shops and restaurants a short walk down the road. It is also possible to walk to Palma from the hotel but you wouldn’t want to do that every day or in the heat. There is plenty of space to park nearby the hotel, though sometimes it can be tricky to find a space.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff

Everything about the hotel was great except for one niggle. We booked a balcony with a view and paid extra. However, we were on the lower ground floor so our view was a very big tree/ bush that was good for security but not exactly the view I thought I'd paid for. So all in all, thoroughly recommend but suggest you ask for a room on the upper floors.

Great hotel with friendly staff

Everything about this holiday was easy! After arriving at Palma airport we caught a bus and then walked to the hotel where we were met by friendly and helpful reception staff. The first day was spent by the pool, relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. Have a massage with Fran by the side of the pool, a fantastic experience not to be missed. Breakfast had lots of choice and plenty of it too. There were lots of sun loungers and no need to get up early in order to get one. Snacks were good and reasonably priced. This is a very friendly hotel which caters for all.

Great hotel, fantastic staff

Really great hotel, which is clean and functional. Very nice and helpful staff, as well as being very friendly. Great pool and bar serving a range of options, great for light meals and snacks. The breakfast was fantastic will all bases covered and a great spread. Hotel is close to Porto Pi with some restaurants there and about a 30 minute walk to the main centre of Palma. There are also regular buses or it is about 10 euro in a taxi. Just note the hotel is up on a hill, not a big hill, but there is an incline to get to it if you are walking. Fantastic and would highly recommend.
