This is not a 4* hotel, it is 3 stars at most. Overall, yes, I had a pleasant holiday at BQ Belvedere, but there were some things that let it down. Cleanliness was okay but lacking in detail - grime under the bed, under the sink and ants and silverfish in the bathroom. But what was worse was the appalling attitude of the restaurant and bar staff. Very rude, passive aggressive and generally unhappy to have to serve anyone. Customer service beyond the reception team was significantly lacking. Although I would go back to Palma, I would NOT stay here again!

Beautiful hotel, stayed B&B and the choice for breakfast was amazing, menu at pool bar very reasonable and tasty too! Theres a bus stop right by the hotel & only 2 euros into Palma and there's a free shuttle bus to Palma Nova as well! It is located up a big hill with lots of steps which I didn't mind but those less mobile would struggle..the same if you had pushchairs.

Check-in wasn't that good as soon as you say \"good afternoon\" they a binder in front of you with all the hotel information, to be honest is good but could have waited a few minutes.
The information about the pool/beach towels is confusing and taking in consideration that you have to pay in CASH, probably this should be mentioned when we booked. Ended up renting one to find out later that the shop downstairs sells towels for €10 (renting + deposit was for us €24 that we got only €10 back when we return the towels).
Food was nice and the theme nights were quite good, plenty of choice.
Not eco-friendly you won't find a single water foutain around the hotel but we were able to find vending machines.

The hotel provides shuttle service to Magaluf and Palmanova which was convenient but very limited time available. With no shuttle after 6 PM.

The hotel is close to Cala Major which was very nice. It’s about a 10 minute walk and there’s plenty of restaurants to go to along the way.

Hotel is very clean and they allowed me to check in at 6 o’clock in the morning. On my birthday, they sent me a bottle of champagne to my room.

I would’ve liked more amenities like complementary water in the room, coffee maker. Make sure you pack all your toiletries as there are none provided either.

If you’re not looking for anything over the top, it’s a great location. If you’re on a budget the pool was nice and there are two poolside bars.

We had a bunch of issues in this hotel mainly to do with the service. The staff members were a mixed bag, some were nice and others were quite rude. My friends had a mix up where they were given the key to a room that was already in use, their room also had ants crawling all over the entrance. My room had silverfish in it and for some reason the cleaner sprayed my whole room with vinegar (which did not kill the silverfish) and I had to sleep in a room stinking of vinegar. Honestly this might sound terrible but it wasn’t all bad, the beds were so comfortable and the room was nice despite all of that. I wish some of the staff were more polite as I had issues of a staff member ignoring me when asking for help, but responding to others (obviously my race may have been a factor in this situation, but I don’t want to assume. Maybe he didn’t like my face or something). Whenever we’d call the number for reception they wouldn’t come or respond for the longest time. The hotel is nice and the food was alright too, we got half board. But the staff… chip on their shoulders

just had a fantastic 4 night stay here, with the all-inclusive package. The food was excellent, and we never had to queue too long to get drinks. The pool area is beautiful and we never had any issue getting a sun lounger in the mornings. We used the free shuttle bus to Palmanova too which was great. The rooms are comfortable with an excellent shower.

Hotel has a major ant infestation. Woke up to hundreds of ants crawling on the floor and on my luggage, as well as ant bites. Staff did not apologize and refused to move me into a different room. Staff then proceeded to blame me for the ant infestation, without even looking into the room or adequately cleaning. When housekeeping finally came hours later, they did not clean and left numerous ant carcasses all over the ground. Staff unfriendly, judgmental and unwelcoming to solo travellers. Areas behind the furniture in room had papers from previous guests, meaning room had not been cleaned in these areas for over a month.

Rooms are sad looking, dirty and no decorations. Not even a tissue box or mug is provided. Horrible value for money. Hotel also charges for the use of safe and pool towels, which is not listed anywhere on the posting. They require you to pay in cash too, which is impractical and clearly an attempt to maximize their profits. Your money is better spent anywhere else on the island. This is at best a 2 star accommodation, even that is generous.

Loved the hotel and where it’s situated. The views from our hotel room on the 9th floor was amazing. The food and drinks were delicious. I would definitely recommend all inclusive when booking the hotel. Supermarket on the lower ground floor has everything you need. The amenities and customer services are 👌 10/10. The staff are always friendly and helpful and can accommodate requests. You can also walk to the beach from the hotel. Overall a lovely experience and would definitely come back.

Lovely room which was serviced every day. Sea view. Fabulous shower. Room had fridge which was handy for water, beer and wine! Great choices at breakfast buffet. Drinks good value if you're not all inclusive. Large pool with plenty of sunbeds. Luggage room and showers available if you have a later flight.

Fantastic hotel, looks recently renovated. The pool is beautiful and they have daily activities. Go all inclusive but pay at the property, it's only 44€ but is more expensive on booking websites. You can add the all inclusive at any time during your stay and it comes with unlimited drinks. Although it's in a quiet location, they provide a free bus to a neighbouring town with a nice beach.

We have just returned from short break (friends) 6-10 July. We had an amazing stay. The hotel is spotless throughout. Our room was huge and on top floor. We had a wrap around balcony from the bedroom and a second balcony off the lounge. The all inclusive option is a must. The food was fabulous. Lots of choice and freshly cooked. The snack bar also had lots of choice. The drinks were great. The service is a little slow but you are allowed 3 drinks at a time, so if you’re impatient you can always have 3 drinks at a time! The staff were so helpful in all areas of the hotel. The shuttle bus to Palma Nova is free and only a few minutes away. There is a beach down the road too. In all a great stay and would definitely return.

Generally, we had a fine stay at this property. Staff was friendly. Rooms and hotel were very clean. Food at the buffet was average. Pool was big, nice and clean. It’s not close to the city and requires a bus to get there. This is really a hotel for families looking to stay at the pool the entire trip and like the “unlimited experience”. Not good for backpackers, those looking for culture or real experience.

Rooms clean, bed comfortable. In all my years Ive never met such unfriendly staff, the odd friendly one but overall miserable and fake smiles. Ordering from bar at night you'd get told sit down an use QR code that no customers could use as didnt work. Rude. Everyone told same thing.
Kiosk Keith at pool bar never cracked a smile and made wanting to get a drink uncomfortable.
Food was plentiful but cold every night bar one.
I cant tell you how many people tripped over unmarked small steps which were dangerous.
Hotel coach very useful for escaping the enviroment.

The hotel was comfortable and in a convenient location. I was very satisfied with their breakfast! It’s a must! I do believe they should have more irons available as their limitation on irons makes it difficult to access one. I also believe irons should be brought up to the rooms of the guests when requested, as opposed to requiring guest come downstairs for the irons - this is a huge inconvenience and not quality service.

Nothing to complain about, the hotel was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was very good and lots of variety i.e full english, continental, pastries, fruit and yogurt. My room was on the front of the hotel so if there was any noise from the entertainment or pool area I didn't hear any. I only paid for room and breakfast but you can pay €22 to have lunch or dinner there. I also asked for late checkout when i checked in and the staff member told me to check on the day of checking out, I paid €40 and stayed in my room untill 7pm which was perfect as it was raining all day so i relaxed untill getting to the airport for my late flight.

Great hotel. Fantastic facilities and wonderful food. My single room was small but price point equalled this out. Staff went above and beyond to keep hotel clean. I liked the more secluded location…ie up the hill so it means a lovely quiet stay. Comfy beds and super quiet rooms. I really enjoyed every aspect of this note and will definitely go back and highly recommend.
Some of the food was outstanding - Majorcian fish, tempura vegetables. Rest of food was great. Varied and tasty. Breakfast ran on an industrial scale to feed the guests who all come down at 0930 with eggs constantly fried, tables cleaned and staff ready with a smile.

Surrounding area given a 4 as roadworks retarmacing getting San Augustine ready for the summer.

The rooms did not appear clean. AC often stopped working in the middle of the night. Comforters weren’t on the bed but were stuffed in dirty bags in a dirty closet for us to collect. The room is very bare bones other than a small mini fridge that wasn’t effective at keeping anything cold.

Front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. We asked if they had any local recommendations for restaurants and they told us to just google bars. They wouldn’t help us with making a reservations at a nearby restaurant.

They also make you wear these hideous lime green wristbands during your entire stay. I would not recommend this hotel and would never return.

Lovely clean hotel with huge warm pool. Free air conditioned shuttle bus to Palm Nova beach was appreciated. Taxi into Palma was only 15 euros. Lots of steps to get down and back from Cala Major - lovely beach restaurant in sandy bay but parts of this area are a bit run down. However with Palma and Palma Nova so easy to access this was not an issue for us! Great value for money.

The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Mira have me some great advice for trips out. The hotel is very clean in all areas. The staff are out early cleaning the pool area every day. The entertainment team made a great effort. I particularly enjoyed ‘The Pink Ladies’ and their free cocktails. I loved the free shuttle to Palma Nova. Lots of choice for the buffet. A great stay. I stayed here for a few days this July for a solo break. The hotel was clean and it felt safe. The pool was clean and there were enough sun lounges. The poolside food and drink options were great. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because there aren’t a huge amount of veggie options in the dining facilities and twice when I asked about a dish which had no label I was informed at that counter by the chef working there that there were no veggie options notwithstanding a dish which was “labelled as veggie” at that counter; when I queried this the chef said it’s not really vegetarian which meant all the food items were not labelled correctly and on prior dining occasions I may have had something which was labelled vegetarian but actually wasn’t.

The hotel itself in terms of bed room space, cleanliness, reception staff, cleaning staff, pool and outdoor space is great! The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming and helped me with a number of queries and with directions.

Drinks and snacks during the day OK and in June there is not a mass of people. The area around the hotel has not much to do. The hotel is on a hill so expect climbing from restaurants and shops back to the hotel. Convenient bus connections from the hotel to Palma and Palmanova/magaluf

Super pleasant 1 night stay in that hotel !
Super easy access by bus from the city center (a bus stop is right in front of the hotel).
The swimming pool is as great as it looks on pictures.
Rooms are pretty spacious, super confortable and look like they were recently renovated. Super clean and modern bathroom as well.
The balcony is pretty big, and the pool view is enjoyable.
I was there on a day without any night animation, so I can't really judge that part, but let's say that I was a bit disappointed as the common areas were already pretty empty around 10/11pm. Not the best if you want to socialize a bit.
But the only real downside is probably the location : let's say that the area around (were the shops and restaurants are) is not the best, although I managed to find a couple of really nice places to have food and parties ;-)
On the other hand, the beach that is 10 minutes away from the hotel by feet is a really nice one ! The water was super clear, I definitely appreciated it :)
Overall, I highly recommend this place for a few days in Palma de Majorca (but probably not for an entier week, in my opinion)

We were here for a long weekend. The hotel is very minimalistic on the verge of basic but a very very nice environment to be in. The food choice looks small but it isn’t. there wasn’t anything that I tasted that I didn’t enjoy.

The rooms were airy, the bathrooms were small, but more than functional. Lovely big showers and the balconies all have Some at some point during the day.

We booked the cheapest room available which was shown as an unrefurbished room. The room we were given had been refurbished and was at the back of the property over the kitchen. I instantly was concerned about noise pollution. There was none. Wonderful morning sun.

The animation team do their best to cheer everybody on. It’s a shame that people don’t take part in their activities because they are very good.

The grounds are very well maintained. The pool and loungers are very nice and plentiful.

We upgraded to all inclusive. I was very happy with everything that was included

Now the negatives.

There is a tourism tax that needs paying locally at the hotel.

The hotel provides beach/pool towels, but these come at €3 a day with a €20 deposit in cash.

The service at the pool bar and the pool snack bar is painfully slow , I ordered a chicken kebab and a salad. It would have been quicker for me to have dried off, dressed and gone to the main dining room, eaten a three course meal with a glass of wine served in a glass than it did to get something from the snack & pool bar.

BQ Belvedere is a great place for a family holiday, the pool is fabulous and the hotel is modern and stylish. We found our room to be very clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. The facilities are excellent and the staff put on entertainment for the children and the adults during the day and in the evenings too.

The worst thing was the bathroom equipment, you know that if you go to a 4* hotel you don't have to worry about bringing shampoo or conditioner. Well not here! Hygiëne kon beter. Op ons badkamer zaten er nog oude spatten van tandpasta op de muren. Toilet liep ook uit langs de onderkant. Maar voor de rest was de kamer proper en net.
‘s nachts was er wel veel lawaai op de gang door de mensen die ‘s nachts uit waren geweest. Is wel spijtig dat je daardoor wakker wordt gemaakt.. ‘s morgens ook wel heel vroeg lawaai. Dus de nachten waren soms wel kort op zo een manier.

Eher ein 3 Sterne Hotel. Die Dusche lief aus, das Frühstück war vielfältig, aber nichts besonderes. Personal sehr gut! Der Pool war super, aber nicht früh genug geöffnet. Der große Parkplatz ist kostenlos aber nicht befestigt. Kam man sehr spät zurück, dann gab es kaum freie Plätze.

Die Unterkunft war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für uns um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht. Das Abgebot ist reichlich aber nicht abwechlungsreich. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas älter und sehen dementsprechend aus. Trotzdem war alles sauber. Es gab einen großen Parkplatz.

Vistelsen i palma var bra. Hotellet hade jag inte rekommenderat någon att boka kanske, är nog mer i klass med 3-stjärnor. Låg dock helt okej med strand 15 minuter promenad och en del enklare restauranger i närheten.
Testade aldrig middagen men fick höra av de som gjorde det att den inte var bra. Frukosten var ej okej.

Le personnel n’est absolument pas agréable. On a rencontré de nombreux problèmes :

- la climatisation de la première chambre faisait un bruit très très fort. Impossible pour dormir.
On nous a donc changé de chambre.

- la deuxième chambre :
La climatisation avait une odeur dégoût quand elle était en marche.
La chambre était sale (poils cheveux taches partout sur le sol, douche et toilette).
La chambre était infestée de fourmis !
Le lecteur pour entrer dans la chambre ne fonctionnait pas bien jusqu’à tombé en panne et ne plus pouvoir entrer dans la chambre. Plus d’une heure d’attente pour entrer dans la chambre.

Pour finir le personnel n’est absolument pas aimable. Très très désagréable.
On a été très très mal reçu.

Wir hatten uns auf einen erholsamen Aufenthalt gefreut, wurden aber leider stark enttäuscht.

Zimmer & Aussicht: Das angebliche „Meerblick“-Zimmer war irreführend beschrieben. Tatsächlich konnte man vielleicht 10 % vom Meer erkennen, ansonsten war es eher ein seitlicher, kaum nennenswerter Blick.

Sauberkeit: Die Zimmer waren nicht ordentlich gereinigt – weit entfernt von dem Standard, den man auf den Bildern erwarten würde.

Personal: Das gesamte Personal wirkte unfreundlich und wenig serviceorientiert. Weder ein freundliches „Guten Morgen“ noch ein „Wie geht’s Ihnen?“ – null Gastfreundschaft, null Hilfsbereitschaft. So etwas habe ich von Spanien bisher nicht erlebt.

Lage & Transport: Ohne Mietwagen ist man hier aufgeschmissen. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind zwar vorhanden, aber die Verbindungen sind sehr eingeschränkt und für Urlauber kaum praktikabel.

Fazit: Leider absolut keine Empfehlung. Das Hotel entspricht in keiner Weise den online dargestellten Eindrücken. Wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

Ich habe das Hotel für meine Eltern gebucht und sie waren rundum zufrieden. 🏖️
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Besonders gelobt haben meine Eltern das abwechslungsreiche Essen sowie die schöne Poolanlage. Auch die Lage ist top – ruhig, aber trotzdem nah genug, um Ausflüge zu machen.

Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel für einen erholsamen Urlaub – meine Eltern würden jederzeit wiederkommen! 🌞

We do not recommend this hotel.

The air conditioning left the hotel at 29.5 °C (85.1 °F), did not cool well, and made loud noises that interrupted sleep, adding to the heat. The room is small and simple, comfortable but without basic amenities such as a kettle. Breakfast is very basic and bad, with no nearby options, although lunch, dinner, and the pool are worth it, also most of the staff members are ok.

They have absurd policies such as charging cash for towels and vending machines that only accept cash, without offering cold water or drinking fountains. The shower has very low pressure, making bathing take longer.

In addition, the hotel did not confirm in time a tour we had paid for, preventing us from doing it on our last day; they only refunded the money.

Avoid this hotel, look for another area or pay for something better, it would be worth it.

Good food, charging for stuff even if all incl.

Was a good hotel, the food was very nice most of the time (had all inclusive). We thought it was quite bad though that pool towels you had to pay for (10euro + 10euro deposit, all in cash for some reason…) and the safety box as well. Weird when it’s all inclusive.

Beds are quite hard. Worked for me but my friend thought they were quite bad.

No fighting over sun beds and not that much people claiming them in the morning, was nice.

The hotel is located pretty high up, so if you have issues with knees etc., it might not be the best fit. A lot of stairs to get there from the beach.
