The room was very clean and well planned, more than usual hotel rooms. Lots of wardrobe space and build in space to put your bag. The shower had a fixed shower glass screen which is much better than the flimsy doors or curtains that you sometimes get.

Stunning hotel with excellent staff. We were greeted with drinks on arrival, our little one was greeted and made welcome too. Everyone said hello. Breakfast - huge selection for all needs/wants. Rooms- beautiful and staff cleaned as and when. They were excellent and friendly. The pool was clean and there were plenty of sun beds . Towels given out so no need to save a space. 15 mins from the airport. Kids area was super - lots to do and outdoor area well maintained and clean for them too. Beautiful beaches within 15 mins walking ( trainers needed as hilly) Best hotel we’ve stayed at! We will return!

Hotel had very different “vibe” as had an African theme with lots of taxidermy in main lobby and colonial theme throughout. We had garden room which opened onto grassed area by pool which was lovely. Bar service was very slow - think more staff needed. Breakfast buffet was very good. Overall would recommend hotel as clean and nicely maintained. Easy access to port and surrounding areas. Enjoyable stay

Upon arriving we were told “we cannot find your booking”. After a long pause and feeling quite awkward, I showed the completed booking and receipt and we were told to go and sit down whilst reception asked reservations to locate it. We were offered a drink which we accepted however the attitude was not the most friendly and welcome you’d expect at what’s meant to be a high end hotel. After 40 minutes my husband asked the receptionist whether we needed to find an alternative accommodation but he then said it has been located. I asked what the problem was to which I was told “I don’t know”! We went to our room. Given that there was 3 of us, the room should have had what was advertised as a double sofa bed. It was in fact a small foam corner sofa with a sheet on the cushions. The air conditioning was terrible and the door handles on the balcony were broken. My husband swapped beds with our daughter mid way through the holiday so she could be more comfortable. He went down to reception and asked for something to be done about this bed. Nothing was. When we checked out and asked about our stay, we were told we should have told them again about the bed and they could have done something, bit too late and they shouldn’t need to be told twice. What we did find was that they favour German nationals over British. The Guest Relations lady was overall quite rude. Needless to say we will not be returning!

I stayed here with my wife on a 9-night break and we really enjoyed it. The staff were very welcoming and helpful at all times. The resort was clean, tidy and well-maintained. We chose a Comfort Class Pool-View Room and it was large and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast (which was excellent) was available until noon every day and good food was available all day until well into the evening. The resort has a large supermarket nearby and is close to bus stops which make local travel very easy. There is a cycle route nearby and the hotel will make arrangements for bicycle hire if you wish. You can also arrange car hire with the hotel. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Lindner Golf Resort and would recommend it without hesitation.

Lovely hotel. Bed improvement could make it top.

The hotel is very lovely and service is good. Breakfast is a pleasure, and a small beach is only a 20-min walk away. Parking is so easy.
On the down side, the beds are not really comfortable… From the mattress to the linen and pillows. Moreover, I asked for a twin room, which they acknowledged upon checkin but once we got to the room, the beds were still together and they are a pain to separate.

Very relaxing, excellent hotel.

Excellent staff, really friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The food was also very good, it would be nice to have a separate lunch menu at the Chumbo restaurant and perhaps some smaller, snack style options but the quality of everything we ate was superb. Very clean all round, room cleaning of high standard. Very clean pool. We went in term time so few children and relatively quiet. About 10 minutes from Palma so easy to visit and some excellent restaurants in the area recommended by the hotel staff. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was peaceful and quiet. Attentive staff. Lovely big rooms and a private balcony. Obviously due to the current situation there were hardly any other guests there so most days we had the pools to ourselves. Sara at breakfast was particularly lovely, happy to have a chat and left a great impression, remembered our morning drinks order after the 2nd day. Being there was no buffet service breakfast was ordered from a menu of what would normally be out, the system worked very well. The Chumbo cafe did a great lunch, excellent beef wrap and Caesar salad. Though I will say €18 for two ice creams, a Fanta limon and a bottle of water did seem expensive for a poolside snack! Check in and out very easy, again staff super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting the island with a hire car. Very easy to Palma and local spots like Puerto Portals.

Beautiful hotel. Only downside was that it is quite a way from any shops, restaurants and beaches. We had to spend a lot on cabs although we did find the buses were very good also. If you want somewhere to stroll to in the evening then there is nothing around. If you are happy to stay in the grounds then the restaurant is lovely but quite expensive.

Didn't like the fact that I was going to be in a room overlooking the car park! According to them it had a view of the golf course if you had a ladder that you could climb. Had to upgrade which cost a lot of money. Also nothing else near to eat/drink unless you were fit & could walk to Portal Nous or the Marina. Not good if you are elderly. The menu at the poolside bar could have included more simple food. Breakfast was good but appeared to go on all morning which was a loss of revenue for the Hotel. Didn't appreciate duck in swimming pool & sparrows at breakfast. I love my garden & birds but not whilst eating!

This hotel is situated close to beaches and not far from the airport or Palma. Free parking was a plus for us. The staff are very attentive, however slight language barrier made one of my meals a bit expensive. Asked for a cheese and salad sandwich with fries for room service, got a plain cheese sandwich with a massive bowl of salad and no fries! Ended up paying 15 euros for a sandwich as not a fan of salad on its own so couldnt eat it. However the reception staff are super friendly and did provide help whenever needed. Pool area is nice and rooms will be refurbished in November making it an overall brilliant hotel soon :)

Lovely hotel surrounded by golf course

The hotel is very well run and takes the form of an African Safari Lodge comprising three timber clad low level buildings. All the buildings overlook the large grassy area around a very blue swimming pool and pool bar. The food is excellent and breakfast is served until 12pm. All this creates a very relaxed atmosphere in which you can really enjoy your holiday at your own pace. There is also a spa and I enjoyed a 50min sports massage. The set up and team were great. Whilst you can walk to several beaches taxis from the hotel were reasonable with a cost of 6/7 euros to Port Portals and 15/16 euros into Palma. Overall a great trip. They are going to be closed from November to Feb to update 100 rooms with their African theme so if should be even better next year.

Amazing stay a beautiful hotel with excellent staff . sylvia at reception helped me extend my stay and gave me an upgrade all the rooms are stunning and comfortable beds . The food is tasty and beautiful and healthy options the breakfast buffets is one of the best I ever had generous and you won’t need lunch later. The pool is heavenly great sunbeds and towels provided I had friends for lunch to visit with children and they are impressed how child friendly such a sophisticated hotel also was . Good showers and left luggage if you have a late flight you can stay all day after checkout . They could not be more helpful friendly professional and relaxing. Good location to walk to illetes port Portals buses to Palma and great local supermarket gym tennis club

First class hotel

This is a first class hotel! We stayed as a family of 4 for 4 nights in a wonderful spacious room. Quality linens, comfy bed and oversized balcony. The staff here were fantastic! Every one we dealt with were incredibly friendly, helpful, polite and smiling all the time. We ate in both restaurants and the food was extremely good with a varied menu. The pool area was lovely, plenty of shade amongst the trees and fresh pool towels on demand. The hotel is only 5 mins drive from the port, so very handy. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. Thank you Hotel Lindner for very enjoyable stay!

Exceptionally well attentive staff very friendly and cannot do enough to help. Food excellent especially the bbq Saturday evening with good music. Pool and gardens clean and lots of beds available in shade when needed. Service around pool and pool restaurant excellent. Highly recommend and certainly would return on next visit to the island.

Peaceful hotel for chilling and relaxing

We had a fabulous 5 nights at the Lindner. The pool and the landscaped area around it is done in such a way that it never seems busy. Everything is well looked after and there were plenty sun beds with padded mats even when the Germans were reserving their sun beds hours before they intended to use them. We were half board and although there was not a huge amount of choice each evening, all the food we had was excellent. Only one small complaint and that was that our terrace was on the side of the hotel driveway and despite a grass area and a hedge separating us from the drive, in the late afternoon and early evening cars, especially taxis, roared up and down it and it was very noisy. Speeds bumps might slow the traffic down to a more acceptable noise level.

Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens, great swimming pool & close to Portals Nous marina & also easy access to Palma. Attractive, peaceful hotel with all the facilities you would expect & the breakfast was excellent. Good sized rooms with balcony, fridge & internet. 15 - 20 minutes walk to Portal Nous marina & beach area but the bus stop was also close by If you don't want to walk- also easy to get to Palma- regular service & cheap too. Pool restaurant served a wide range of food & staff were very helpful & friendly. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay & found plenty of sun beds. Plenty of good restaurants to eat nearby & supermarket across the road.

Lovely Hotel

Although we have been to Palma many times, this was the first time we stayed at The Lindner. Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. We booked a First Class room and it was lovely. We had a large balcony and a view of the Bendinant golf course. Although we did not participate in any of the special lunches, we noticed that there were several special ones offered whole we were there and they appeared to be lovely. Everything at the hotel was very well organized as well as very clean. We normally stay in Palma as we enjoy going out in the evening in the city.

We had a family 3 night stay in January just for a short break, we would definitely stay there again. Hotel is not walking distance to much so glad we had a car. Facilities and restaurants are good and staff very obliging. We had an issue with our room to which we were moved to a better one without any question.

The Lindner is lovely, obviously an older hotel but well kept, catering mostly to Germans especially at this time of year. Service was excellent throughout and the breakfast buffet which was included was wonderful. , Lovely grounds. Disappointed in the spa, felt it third rate with indifferent service. We went off season and only one restaurant open. Our room was delightful, spacious with garden balcony. I would certainly go again and recommend it to friends. Very good value for money.

Fabulous, family friendly hotel

We had a wonderful night's stay at the Lindner Hotel. Our room was beautiful, and enormous, the welcome at reception was very friendly and the facilities were fabulous. It was very family friendly, with a lovely kids club and a great kiddie pool, but the hotel and pool area were both incredibly quiet and relaxing, even with the facilities for children. We felt completely relaxed and refreshed after our stay and will definitely be returning.

Nice hotel, very quiet

Very nice hotel, very clean and nicely set out in an African hunting lodge theme. Location is ok but done people might struggle with the walk to the beach which is around 20 minutes and involves a fair hill. Taxi, bus and small supermarket just outside the hotel, a bus to Palma is only €2.10 each way. Lovely quiet area, nothing to do directly around the hotel but that is what I was after. Only issue was the number of sun beds with towels on them but were unoccupied for most of the day, the hotel has a no reserving sun bed rule but doesn't enforce it which did mean we couldn't use the sun beds on two days as there were no empty ones but plenty with just towels on.

Don't go unless your German!

Don't go to this hotel unless your German! Your check in information is in German, only German TV works in the room, all the staff talk to you in German. When complaining to management about this they sent a TV engineer on the day of my departure and then receive no other reply or apology from Carolina. Wouldn't return.

Beautiful setting perfect to relax

This is my 4th year returning to the Lindner. We love the atmosphere and the quiet tranquil setting. It's very family friendly but maybe seeing we don't have children they have always put us at the other end away from the children's pool.
From the minute we arrive we feel looked after but it's not stuffy at all. Makes it so easy to relax straightaway.

Oozes class.

Used to stay here quite regularly up to 4 or 5 years ago, so it was great to go back and
it made me realise what a fantastic hotel this is. It's not a modern hotel, far from it, but just oozes class in an old colonial way. The friendliness of the staff, the atmosphere throughout, great breakfast and lovely grounds. I will ge back to returning here and playing some golf next year.

The hotel was excellent. In terms of presentation, helpfulness of the staff, facilities and location it could not be faulted. Everything you would expect a 'German' hotel to be.

We ate lunch in the Chumbo pool bar most lunchtimes and a couple of evenings during our stay and the food was always of an acceptable standard. Plenty of options for the kids with respect to activities and the crèche service was an excellent touch.

All in all a pleasant stay in a well run hotel / resort

We stayed here for 3 nights, staff was very friendly, was a pleasant surprise to find that we were given complimentary childcare (by Eva thank you) - the boys were also given lovely lunch at the hotel restaurant too! Champagne on arrival was nice. The only thing we found which was a bit different from usual is that the porter sent our luggage to our room before we got there. We were expecting to be \"accompanied\" and when we asked him as he walked past us to go back to reception, he casually pointed us to the room diection (a few blocks away). We expected a hotel of this standard that at least he would go the extra mile to show us to our room.

Good but a little isolated

This is a good quality 4* hotel principally used by German clientele. The hotel is very well equipped with large car park, indoor & outdoor pools, spa and inside & outside restaurants.
The hotel offers free breakfast for guests with a large variety of hot & cold food.

The rooms are very nice, well equipped and furnished in 3 low-rise (2 floors) buildings set in lovely grounds within a golf complex.

However, the hotel is a bit isolated being situated between Illetas & Portals Nous (approx 1 mile in each direction). There are a few restaurants & bars near the hotel, but all were closed when we were there in October '14 and we ended up going to Portals Nous and beyond in the evening.

The Lindner has an African safari theme with lots of quirky artefacts in the lobby & public rooms, but this adds to it's character.

A very nice hotel if you want peace & quiet, but not for party animals !!

Fantastic, friendly hotel close to Portals

This is the second year we have been to the Lindner and was just as nice this time. It's only 15 mins from the airport and 5 mins in a taxi from the port. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely with the sun beds scattered around the garden rather than surrounding the pool which gives you your own space. Would definitely recommend and will be going back

Great hotel just a bit out of Palma 25Euros for a taxi. Drinks were a little expensive 5,35Euros for a coke but the supermarket is very close

Colonial style hotel with excellent facilities.

Hotel beautiful, staff multilingual. Would definitely come back. My only criticism - a very small one, food from bar/restaurant near pool was covered in far too much mayonnaise. Would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel with great facilities and location

Great hotel with courteous staff , excellent food for breakfast , lunches and dinner . Only 5 mins taxi ride from portal nous harbour and 15mins to Palma! Very accessible for my elderly mum too!

Lindner hotel

Lovely big rooms, good food, nice staff. The only part I could fault, was that there was a bit of a drain smell, which was dealt with straight away.

Great Hotel!

Quite a way out of Oxford but a real find. Great value for money, lovely rooms, good facilities. The lobby and bar areas appears a little shabby but everything else is great. I would recommend highly.

Good hotel- would return.

Room price is good value. Everything is very nicely done. Only critism is price of food. Very good food but a bit too expensive to have lunch there everyday. Other than that, everything was perfect. Will return next year.

Great for families and couples

We visit Mallorca on a yearly basis and always stay at the Lindner. We stumbled across this hotel a few years back and have never looked back since. The hotel is suitable to families and couple alike. It is always clean, staff are always attentive and the overall service is fantastic.

There is always a very calm feel here, the rooms are always perfectly clean and comfortable, and food is great. We never have any complaints! We have always recommended this hotel to any friends who visit the island, and they are also now loyal guests.

The port is a 4 minute taxi ride away with great food, great people and an overall fantastic experience.

Nice hotel

Although this hotel is on the predominantly English side of the island, this hotel is geared towards the German traveller.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from Portals Nous. The attached golf course is the main leisure attraction here.

Rooms are clean, modern, spacious and well appointed. They lack the final push of luxury you woudl expect in 5 star hotel but it is a solid 4 Star even by AA standards.

Beds are very comfortable.

The room was good value.

Overall a very pleasant stay.

Charmingly quaint!

Lovely hotel and great location. We were able to use the bus system to get around, there's a stop 3 minutes from the hotel. We didn't get an opportunity to use the massage services, but the area itself; the pool, hot tub, and sauna were very nice. There is also a great restaurant on site, we enjoyed lunch shortly after our arrival. The staff was very helpful and I would love to visit again when it's warmer.

Classy hotel with classy prices!

Arrived at the hotel and met with friendly staff and a glass of bubbly! Had to wait a little while for our room but were given pool towels and luggage storage straight away. Room was nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast was fab.
The only down side to this hotel was the drinks being so expensive at the bar 4.95 euros for a fanta orange! We were fortunate to have a hire car so could go elsewhere in the evening but it is a little isolated if you want to go elsewhere - especially in almost 40 deg heat! A lovely hotel though and a great place for a long weekend break.

Wasn't told the hotel was under major building works, pool was not built, scaffolding everywhere, dirt, dust.....went to bed early and left early as possible in the morning without breakfast!.......even scaffolding on our balcony when we could of had another room it wasn't full!......

Excellent peaceful hotel

Spent 3 nights at the Lindner. Very handy from Palma Airport - approx 20 mins by taxi. On arrival greeted by a glass of chilled cava - very nice! Even better we were upgraded foc to a junior suite which was lovely - spacious, comfortable bed and large double balcony overlooking the pool and grounds.

Hotel is primarily occupied by Germans but all staff spoke excellent English and service was always very friendly and efficient. Ate one night in the bar restaurant - my husband's choice was good, mine not so and I felt it was a bit pricey for what we got. Had an excellent meal in Restaurant Port Alt in Portals Nous, a 5 minute taxi drive away - would highly recommend this restaurant.

Hotel handy for visiting Palma - caught the local bus from outside the hotel and arrived in the city centre within 15 minutes. Great city - the cathedral is a must to visit and the shopping is great!

All in all would definately recommend this hotel and Palma for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Awesome service!

I was really impressed with the service of the reception staff. Upon checking in I had asked about some special deals for a golf courses close by and the staff advised about the Hotel's own special deals, but also told me that a lot of the golf courses have special 'direct deals'. 24hrs later I had a short letter in my message box informing me that I can save a few Euro's by booking directly at one of the golf courses. I had not expected this kind of attention to detail and follow up and was very pleasantly surprised. Apart from this the staff was very friendly and always helpful and the Hotel can be recommended.
