Lovely overall but service issues
Our stay was lovely until the last day. The property is beautiful and the staff at the bars, pools and desk were all very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Concierge was very helpful and we loved Henry A, the butler. Wonderfully pleasant and helpful! Everything you think about a 5 star hotel. We did not do the breakfast buffet the first two says we were there but went down for our last morning. The service was not good. The buffet was divine and we ordered our coffee and water which came quickly. We then got our plates and when we sat down there was no silverware so we asked for some and some additional coffee. We got the silverware but no coffee. About 10 minutes later I asked another waitress to check on the coffee and could we please get some more water. That never came either so I walked up to the manager and explained that we had never received our coffee and could I get a to go cup. Meanwhile the servers cleared our first plates but took our silverware and again we had no silverware to eat our fruit and had to wait for that to be requested and brought. It was just disappointing because it was our last morning there and we wanted to have a relaxing morning and we couldn’t get coffee and silverware which are pretty basic. Up until this point I would have given it a 5 star but the fact that it didn’t go well and the manager didn’t even apologize was pretty disappointing.

The best. Possibly the best upscale hotel experience in the past few years, best staff, best breakfast, excellent lower tier restaurant Aqua even during low season (their Michelin1* Es Fum restaurant has been closed till March).
Caveat #1: St, Regis has a wonderful scenic location on the bay, but has no direct access to the sea. Great area for jogging by the bay, even in February. Hotel will advise re beaches.
Caveat #2: no golf on premises (hotel will arrange nearby courses, my woman friend liked Muntaner (with related Quinto second) and Bendinat the best. Other courses nearby tend to be flat (friend sez boring) but I have not seen two lines of 100€-plus automobiles ever like the one at Golf Santa Ponsa - the course being flat and boring according to my experienced golfer friend.
In sum, Marriott St. Regis rules...

Really nice hotel with a Spanish style. Pretty lobby and very welcoming staff. Nice Bar and lounge by the lobby as well as the Es Fum Michelin star restaurant. Clean and nice rooms. Bad gym, very small. Guest service, the butlers( LEO especially) and all the receptionists were great and very friendly and helpful. Same at the Es Fum restaurant.

Unethical reservation policy
After reserving two rooms in early May for myself and wife and elder daughter and her family, my younger daughter was unable to reserve a suite for her family of five. I tried to cancel through Expedia, but the hotel policy was that all reservations were totally non-refundable. (This fact was not stated on the Expedia on-line booking form for flight+hotel, which says that air tickets are non-refundable, but does not refer to hotel rooms). My two rooms could easily have been refunded and new bookings taken so far ahead of our visit. In the event my two daughters went to another hotel and I invited my son and his family to use the second reserved room.

Fabulous hotel with every luxury you would expect for this standard of hotel. Staff lovely and very helpful and courteous. The gardens were amazing with lots of space and attentive pool service. Dinner was excellent but breakfast could be improved (not hot enough and less choice than we expected at such a luxurious resort). Our room (junior suite) was one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in with every conceivable facility and a great balcony. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

My Mother and I were looking for a nice, relaxing way to spend a long weekend following a hiking trip in the hills of Mallorca. The St. Regis really fit the bill. We were greeted warmly and immediately ushered away for a cocktail while the check-in was completed. The hotel staff couldn't have been more pleasant and the room was divine. One of my favorite parts of each day was breakfast - a feast fit for kings! My only complaint was the language barrier with some of the hotel staff and associated confusion. For ex. it was explained to us that we were entitled to two laundry items per person per day, but upon check-out, I learned it was only ironing services, thus I had incurred charges I wasn't expected. Also, in the spa, the ladies managing the desk were very difficult to understand and there was a lot of confusion upon check-in and check-out, and no one really explained the amenities of the spa overall. Services were great though.

hotel was well situated We arrived at 10.30 am and check in was not until 3 pm but they provided us with coffee then allowed us early check in. The hotel itself was beautiful from the property to the rooms. What lacked was service. The service and amenities were more like a three star instead of a five star. We tend to stay at Four Seasons properties and they have the St. Regis beat on service by far. The pool was beautiful, but no water service and they charged almost $10 for a liter of water. The staff was nice, but not overly friendly or accommodating. There were times when there was no one at the reception desk that could help us. If you can get this hotel for $400 it would be worth it, but not for $700-$1,000.

Hôtel qui est décadent et n est certainement pas un hôtel 5 étoiles. État général très vieillot , rien n à été refait depuis des années sauf les chambres qui sont correctes. Nourriture vraiment très moyenne et qui reflète bien l état général de l hôtel . Personnel gentil mais pas très professionnel et qui cherche à faire payer le client toujours plus mais sans service supplémentaire. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel il y a d autres options sur l île à des prix beaucoup plus abordables.
