We had a great stay here. The staff were so friendly and the hotel was spotless!
Our only grumble was the beds are very firm and wasn't to our liking, and the sunbeds are situated VERY close together around the pool - felt a bit like being a sardine in a can. So if you like space this isnt for you and being an adults only it was also very quiet.
Saying that, i would definitely come here again. The rear of the property takes you to the beach in 2 mins (walk) with loads of shops/supermarkets. The rooms are a great size with everything you need for self catering.

The property was as it said in the booking 50 yards from the beach and a beautiful beach. Plus all the bars and amenities r just outside . Staff wer fantastic and very polite it’s small and compact which is perfect for this place can’t wait to go back .

Just back from a girly holiday with my best friend.Hotel is very clean and in a great position.,so close to bars and 5 minutes to the beach.Staff we’re friendly.Will definitely stay here again when back in Majorca.Only 1 small gripe no drawers at all in the junior suite.

Great place, lovely pool area, friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble for them to help you have a fantastic stay. Would recommend a pool view room. A number of different lifts made it easy to get to any level. Room 517 was everything and more than what we expected. Definitely will be returning to Sol Lunamar.

This was our second stay at the Sol Lunamar and would definitely recommend it. had a slight problem with the aircon but was sorted straight away. reception staff were polite and courteous especially Margarita in which nothing was too much trouble for her. The hotel was very central for bars and shops.

We had a standard room without a view. On check in it was a bit worrying as we were told it was not a good room and they tried to upgrade us for a fee. This was a little upsetting as a first impression.
The room was adequate and what we expected for our price.
I have worked in hospitality and we always tried to give the best experience to our guests. If superior rooms were empty we would use them to give an even better experience than expected.
Overall great experience lovely pool area and pool bar.
Palms Nova is very touristy we really struggled to find authentic Tapas etc…
Lovely beaches and great location.

Lovely Hotel, great location, clean, great pool, beach access is at rear of hotel .Nice friendly bar staff, games area, pool etc. Rooms have small kitchen with microwave and hob ( no kettle ) some people have said the beds are hard but to be honest they suited us fine and we slept perfectly. Lastly this is a quiet hotel, no huge parties of people , mainly mature adults. Reccomended

Sol Lunamar is run by heartless people. We were unable to travel because of Covid, and they were unwilling to refund, or even give us a credit. Hotels.com was even less help, as the two of them bounced back and forth blaming each other and nothing got done as I watched my money fall in the pockets of Sol Lunamar, while I was unable to even visit.

4th stay at Sol Lunamar. Amazing location and property mostly excellent as always. However a few issues with room 609, the door would not open very easily with the swipe card provided. Would often take approx 10 attempts to get in however the card worked well in other areas. The shower was over a small 1/2 bath and had high sides which you had to climb over by squeezing between the end of it and the toilet as the glass shower screen was along the side. Would be impossible for anyone older or less mobile and very unsafe as not even a handle to use when climbing in and out. Finally, the kettle was old and took 13 minutes to boil (we timed it). Would stay again but this bathroom needs updated urgently.

Great location on the edge of Palmanova with everything within walking distance and a bus stop right outside if needed to go any further or to/from the airport on the A11.

I can't believe European showers don't have full enclosure. It's a single glass panel so water splashes EVERYWHERE....I spent so much time on a dangerously wet slippery floor.
The bed was ridiculously hard and the room was not AT ALL soundproof. Its in the Magaluf section so expect drunken noise.

I liked the building, amenities, and kitchenette though :)

The hotel was in a really good location, 10 minute walk along the beach if you want to party the night away in one direction and 10 minute walk in the other direction if you want a nice relaxed evening with a nice meal and some milder entertainment. I would highly recommend trying out 'The Grillhouse' across the road from the back entrance of the hotel. The hotel interior is nice and modern, however the budgeting of the hotel does let them down. you have to pay a deposit for the aircon remote and also tv remote/special plug. We stayed for 10 nights and whilst the cleaners made our beds up every 2 days they did not change the sheets which was quite disappointing with the price we paid, this is the very bare minimum you would expect. we found a number of cockroaches within our bathroom which was very unpleasant. It would have been good for the hotel to provide some form of entertainment, it would go a long way! a few suggestions would be, every couple of days at the pool have an optional game of volley ball, or water aerobics - it would really encourage business and socialising. Another suggestion would be an early evening entertainer out by the bar, maybe a singer or even a quiz! that again would encourage guests to buy more drinks at the bar, before heading out to a night out / meal. over all we had a good holiday and the staff were all very nice, especially the bar staff and the cleaners. be wary if you do go out to Magaluf though, as my partner's phone was stolen!!

The only problem were the wifi was not working at all in the room and very weak in the lobby. Also the elctricity in our room was keep switching off when using the hobb. We stayed as part of a private party spread amongst a number of hotels. This is a basic hotel, limited f&b but pleasant staff. Room safe is extra cost. TV and AC remotes needed a daily deposit. Room cleaned every other day. Beds were hard and pillow, only 1, was soft. Good location for cafés and beach. Limited parking, we parked in the road. Good terrace with pool and bar.

Looks good in photos The beds ,towels were changed 3 time during our 7night stay , nice of them to put ramps in for the cockroachs to get between floors , but i think the cats kept them down , they seem to run out of bulbs in many lights in the lounge , Our room Studio was compact the bath was great if you were 4ft tall any bigger you wont fit , the shower was brilliant very hot and powerfull , Forget the Tv its only got 2 uk channels and not worth the money on the remote , the aircon remote is ok you get a refund when you check out and return the remotes , The kettle trips the power if you dont hear it boil it dont cut off , the fridge in room216 dont have bulb in it , the beds single were fine could done with more pillows or at least a bigger one , In general it was clean and tidy staff were polite ,

Arrived at main entrance, plenty of street parking and close to large free car park. At first thought it was quite a way from beach ,but soon found you can access the beach easily from gate below the pool area.The room was the cheast studio which looked out onto the road behind,an upgrade to a pool view room was 15 euro a night extra.The room was clean and sheets and towels were changed every two days.Our main gripe was the lack of power points and their location which made using kettle and toaster difficult.

The apartment was spacious and very clean, with good facilities and everything we needed for a 4 day break. All staff very friendly and helpful. For what we paid, excellent value for money.

A few things can be improved upon though: pool man is quite strict on not bringing own drinks and food to the poolside. Also you have to pay to use the safe (19 euros per stay). Rooms can be a little noisy at time, better soundproofing wouldn't go amiss.

Nonetheless a lovely break and would very much recommend sol Lunamar

Sun Bed Problems!

While the hotel is nice, there does seem to be a major sunbed hogging problem going on. You'll have to sneak down at 6am to get a sunbed and by the looks of it, they will just have a towel on for most of the day. Very annoying.

We arrived late and hotel staff were very helpful and understanding. Our room was clean and had nice views. Sometimes it got a bit loud due to young people coming in late in the morning, but we felt very safe. The hotel is situated perfectly, 2 minutes from the beach out back, 5 minute walk to Magaluf strip, 5 minute taxi away to places like the aquarium, harbour or water park. Overall we had a great stay!

We had a lovely time at the Sol lunamar apartments, When we first saw our room we were disappointed as the bed was a sofa bed and very hard and uncomfortable, the decor was also very garish. However we decided \"you only get what you pay for\" - however as time went on we realised there were lots of positives to our room - the shower was fantastic! The micro toaster and kettle were all good - no problems!. Our room and towels were cleaned every second day also the apartments were close to all amenities - the pool and pool bar were spotless and the staff were always cleaning. We will definitely be back but maybe get a room upgrade next time. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

Vey average hotel. Not what we were expecting. Had to pay pay €15 deposit for TV remote, would have expected that to come along with the room. Also, had to pay to hire an iron, and pay for wifi internet and also air con. We wasn't allocated a double bed, so husband and I had to sleep separately on single beds that couldn't move together. Room was relatively clean.
So yes, overal experience was ok but wasn't wag at we were expecting or thought we had booked.
The area however is very nice and quiet, not too far walk to Magaluf or Palmanova and the beach. Nice area but very average hotel.

Overall nice hotel. Big enough pool area and always available sunloungers no matter what time of the day. Close to the beach. Rooms are nice, enough rooms for two people staying. Hotel bar has happy hour offers available throughout the day on drinks etc, drinks were really affordable. My only issue with the room was airconditioning, it wasn't great, the room we stayed in was never cool enough. Sleeping comfortably at night was quite a challenge because it was simply too warm in the room and AC was too noisy in the middle of the night, we ended up having to switch it off. Overall a pleasant stay for a 3* hotel.

Hotel was lovely, room was standard (quite tight as we had a room for 3 and the extra bed had just been squashed in)

It was a bit strange that you had to pay €15 deposit for the TV remote and the same again for the AC remote!

The pool area was lovely. A pity they didn't put on entertainment at night to keep their guests in as it would have had a great atmosphere.

Position of hotel was fab. Right on the strip and just across the road from the beach.

No free internet is the big downside of this hotel. €6 / day, €25 / week. Had to wait until we were eating out to surf the net...oh, and on the beach! If the beach can give free internet, surely a hotel with paying guests can!

Excellent for the price. Location perfect as you are a short walk to Palma Nova front and also a short enough walk into Magaluf, depending on what you are looking for. Also very close to the beach and shops.
Definitely recommend.

Nice, clean hotel near the beach

the hotel was lovely close to the beach and perfect for self catering holidays. Pool and surrounding area was kept very clean and rooms were cleaned every other day. We had a lovely view of the pool and could see the beach from our room. However the staff were unhelpful at times. The hotel its self could not have been in a better location.
