This property was not at all what it appears to be in photos posted online. The room was not clean upon receiving it. There were stains on the pillow cases, sheets and towels, and needed replacing immediately. The only \"blanket\" provided was a single flat sheet and staff was initially hesitant to provide additional sheets when asked. The mattresses were not very comfortable. All the surfaces were dirty and I had to wipe all of them down again after receiving the room. Additionally, I had to clean the shower. The other guests were yelling in the halls and playing loud music into the early hours of the morning every day until about 6AM. The front desk was unreachable by phone and when informing them that the phone did not work, they failed to rectify this issue. The breakfast, that was an additional cost, was terrible. It does not entirely cater to dietary restrictions making choices very scarce - and it did not taste very good either. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to have a relaxing stay in Mallorca.

Fabulous, would definitely stay again!

Had a great 4 night stay here. We stayed half board. Food was fab, one of the best I've stayed at, with some super little touches. Rooms were basic, but expected for this location. Plenty big enough for my friend and i. Lovely bathroom with super big waterfall shower. Perfect location for the beach, strip and square.
Loved the wristbands with room key - no worries about loosing room key!!!!

When I arrived I was told at reception that the hotel was closing and that I had been booked in at the Melia Calvia Beech. This hotel is about a 10 minute partial uphill walk, and there was no offer of transport or a drink. I am 74 years old and had just bused down from Puerto Pollenca. Fortunately I am reasonably fit. I wanted to be in an adults only central hotel and ended up halfway up a hill with people enjoying half term family holidays. There was not prior notice of any changes.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel as it was in a great location, 2 mins from beach, stores, restaurants and bus stops. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The only “ complaint ” was that it was a little noisy at night but I would still definitely recommend staying here.

Sol house calvia beach has an amazing beach club which has a really relaxed feel and music great pool and right on the beach the food is great. Hotel room had some punch holes in the wall and wasnt too clean also requested a double bed and it was 2 singles pushed together the main pool area and bars was great music and very care free bring your own drinks... teenagers do stay here and come in early morning shouting and banging on doors so bear that in mind also you are almost forced to wear a pink wristband whick has your room key in it and when you dont the security kick up a fuss at night and threaten to throw you out luckily the reception are ok with you just having it on you and put them straight... overall we had a good time and its great for partygoers but anyone looking for a good nights sleep or a clean comfortable room stay away

Do not stay here

We were a group of 28 y/o from Canada, and decided to pay extra for a 4 star nice hotel to get away from some of the riff raf big mistake. Party hotel with people yelling and blasting music at all hours.

The room was a pigstien with multiple cockach sightings, dried blood on the floor, cigarette burns on the couch, stains on the wall, and toilet. Housekeeping didn’t take out garbage once during the 5 days, all they did was change towels and make beds.

When I asked the staff for a new room due to all the issues they sent a maid up who proceeded to put bleach on the caked on blood stains and said “if it was blood bleach would take it away” it looked like it had been there for years.

Felt gross the whole time. If your an 18-19 year old I guess it’s fine since it’s a party place but would not reccomend to any adult.

The front desk staff were super friendly especially given the place they were working in, but the cleaning staff did nothing all week.

The hotel location is great, it has a modern feel. The vibe was a bit too calm for magaluf maybe because of the time of year I went. Staff were friendly, security won’t allow you to have dates come back to your room, which kinda sucks since you pay a lot for your stay. The food is okay in the hotel, prefer to eat at restaurants

I chose this hotel because it was supposed to be a four star, adult hotel, it turned out to be a party hotel with many young people staying here, very noisy hallways throughout the night up until 5am. A huge group of recent high school graduates and university students arrived as part of tour group catering to students.
If you are in your late teens, early twenties this is the place for you, anyone older - it's a no.

Great value for money and in a great location. The breakfast was good and the hotel was immaculate. I’d recommend for anyone looking to spend some time in this part of the island. My only small bit of feedback was my room was supposed to have a double bed, but was two singles pushed together. Other than that a fantastic stay!

Good hotel, had to wait a while for check out, no atmosphere around pool music was awful and large dj booth was empty the entire time even though it was August. Pool area nice although didn’t like that none guests were allowed to use due to lack of sunbeds. Would revisit but only if it was cheap otherwise I would look elsewhere .

The hotel is in a good location, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. However the hotel in itself is very basic, the room I stayed in had seen better days. The walls and ceiling had splatters of random dirt on them. The hotel staff was not welcoming at all, they provided what you asked for but with no hint of a smile, just a blank expression. I will visit Majorca again but won't be returning to this hotel.

On arrival the receptionist was quite rude. The stay was decent though the walls are very thin and we could hear all sorts. On our final day we arranged to have breakfast early as we had an early flight, when we went to the restaurant, all staff seemed clueless and said they’d forgotten. Incredibly modern and clean hotel. Good food and pleasant environment around the pool. Very near the beach and some good restaurants along the seafront. Would stay there again.

Good hotel for kids and very near great activities and theme parks for them to do and visit.
And all round great hotel for adults and kids. There is an area where children are not allowed giving adults quiet and rest and relaxation.

Me and 2 friends stayed for a week, the hotel is beautiful, the room was clean and fresh, the air con wasn't working properly, we went to reception and whilst we were at dinner it was fixed for us, the dinners are ok but the meats were cold/luke warm everyday!

The only polite staff were those on reception the rest were rude!

Perfect stay - modern, clean, well equipped hotel

We had the perfect stay in Sol House The Studio Calviá Beach. It was beautiful, modern, clean and well equipped. The hotel was in the perfect location and has 2 pools! Your room has small bottles of complimentary after sun and sun lotion which is a great touch. It is not somewhere you want to stay if you are planning on a quiet holiday though as there are people arriving in and out of the hotel at all hours as Magaluf is a big party area. This hotel suited us perfectly. The only problem we had with our stay was the smell of sewage from the bathroom, there must be an underlying issue with the sewage in the area. Just put down the toilet seat and keep the bathroom door closed to keep the smell at bay.

When I got to check-in I was told that Sol House would be closing during the period of my stay ... and I was offered accommodation in the nearby Sol Wave overlooking the beach. I took up the offer and was very happy there. Very goos service from the Sol chain.

Stayed here as couple in mid 40s. Facilities were very good. Breakfast excellent though Evening Dinner had little choice and best avoided.

Pool was very good including the upstairs VIP area. Hotel is well situated being close to beach. Main complaint was the noise at night from people though as this hotel was marketed towards a younger clientele this is to be expected.

Seen complaints about the staff though never had any issues and they seemed willing to help.

Overall excellent hotel and would stay again.

Hotel was great, looked just like the pictures. It was clean and comfortable, located right in the centre of everything. I would definitely recommend it. The reception staff was also friendly and helpful. The only thing I would have liked differently was that for a couple, twin beds were placed together as I requested which was uncomfortable at times so would have liked a double bed instead of two twin beds and coffee/tea making facilities would have been ideal for the room also. However, overall the stay was brilliant!!! :)

The only negatives from my husband and I are the constant hot water fluctuations in the shower and the dual twin beds (would have preferred a queen or king bed instead). Staff was very friendly, food was good and pool/grounds were stunning!!! Would definitely stay here again. Pools were not heated so would like to stay in July or August next time.

Don't go if you are an American. It is like spring break at Daytona Beach X 10 24/7. The hotel played bad music all day and night and you couldn't get away from it due to paper thin walls. The tourists made it really bad too.

Literally the only thing we can fault is that we were put on the ground floor at the back of the hotel near to the vents and not great view. Also we had numerous large cockroaches in our room, they wouldn't move us room but we got some given bug spray instead. It's a shame cos everything else was perfect! Would definitely stay again but would get a pool view room probably .. and hope for no cockroaches! Cocktails are amazing!

A. Problem with the water temprature in the shower. Not fixed during the entire week if our stay and staff refused to change us rooms.
B. We paid for a room with king size bed and instead got two single beds.
C. The hotel's description mentioned Dj's and parties but there was nothing of this kind. In fact it was the quietest mist boring hotel in the area.
Hope management will take these comments into real consideration and improve.

A lot of light in the morning (the curtain is not enough). The cocktails at the pool very tasty and are reasonably. The service of the suitcase room at the last day is very good and useful.

Hotel was fantastic, lovely seating areas around the pool and great music playing. Not a hotel if you want peace and quiet but great if you like music without it all being too manic. The rooftop terrace is lovely with a small pool and again nice seating areas. My one complaint is that at about 6 o clock you are moved to the downstairs pool which is mad as the sun has gone from there but it is still lovely on the roof. Hotel great for location as both the beach and strip a couple of minutes walk away but far enough away from noise.

Brilliant hotel - for all types of holiday!!

I have visited this hotel with friends before & i was really impressed with the facilities! However we were a little sceptical about going on a family holiday.
My dad, little brother (age 16) & myself (21)! My dad has gone on holiday to mallorca every year for as long as i can remember & usually stays in port de pollecia, however due to booking this holiday late everywhere was pretty much fully booked or ridiculously over priced.

I have just had 2 months working in magaluf - so i recommended we stayed there - clean beaches, close to attractions, in walking distance of palma nova a more relaxed place to dine/ drink with live shows pretty much everywhere & of course the night life!

Sol house trinidad is clean, rooms were spacious, fresh towels - cleaners everyday! easy going, great facilities (pools, pool bar, gym, on site spa) the food was incredible not your average buffet!! If it wasn't for anything else i would simply recommend it on the food!!!

It is located in the middle of everything! Its about a 30second walk from the beach! a few minuets from the strip! loads of restaurants and bars close by on the sea front!!

As a whole we were all impressed! We had an unusual but extremely enjoyable family holiday!! i would recommend to all!!

Having stayed in the Sol House Trinidad in 2012 I was very impressed with the way it has been refurbed. The rooms are fantastic and the new pool side terrace is impressive. If the personality of the staff matched the refurb it would be a perfect 10 but in terms of facilities and amenities I am very satisfied!!!

Beautifully presented hotel in the ideal location

The hotel's features and rooms were stunning and hard to fault; you could tell it was very well looked after. We had a beautiful sea view room with undisturbed views of the gorgeous ocean; which ideally was about 100m walk from the hotel.

The only thing that let the hotel down a tad was the staff. The majority of them didn't speak fluent English and so were not very helpful. In one instance I asked the front desk the simple question 'where is good to eat around here?' and they said they didn't know. Which is quite poor if you ask me, as working on the front desk you're meant to know the surrounding area well.

Other than the staff the hotel itself was near to faultless and I would definitely stay here again!

Dont go to this hotel

Dont go to this hotel! They have like one person in this all hotel that speak english. A.c. not working. They dont unser the phone. The bath is poor. And many other mallfunction. They just dont care about nothing. And they tell u thats the way it is.

Excellent Hotel

Well where do I start, Six 18 year olds on their first lads holiday. The hotel was perfect and we couldn't of asked for more, the rooms were spacious and perfect for what we needed they also had a nice clean bathroom. Maids would come to clean your room everyday but because we weren't that messy we only had it cleaned twice over 7 days. There was a free safe that you set your own code too that made us not worry about leaving our phones, money, cards etc in the room. The pool was really nice and the upper ''VIP'' deck (not really VIP because anyone could use it) was perfect to come down to and chill after a night out. Would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in magaluf.
