Mixed feelings really.. Upon arrival we did not really feel welcomed. We had a somewhat confusing explanation of the hotel, went through the normal

Breakfast: Good selection, good coffee included in the price, the juices were extremely sugary, and needed to be watered up so we could drink them. The food was room temperature (eggs, sausages etc.) which I did not like, so I ended up using the microwave oven to warm up the food.

There are two separate buildings that everyone can enter without any consent until reaching their room door, as there is a public pathway and staircase between the buildings. It would be better if access to the rooms and restaurant area were more controlled.
In terms of service, it was a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the staff asked for the room number at the restaurant, but most of the time, no one asked anything. They didn’t replace both bathroom towels — only one was left in the room, and we had to request a second one. In general, the finishes are not great, and it’s noticeable that the hotel is quite old.
Breakfast, however, was excellent — plenty of options and great service.

We had a view over one of the pool on the 3rd floor. The rooms are in different buildings which we liked as restaurants were in several of them. Buffet food was good but particularly liked the street food area. Burgers, Italian and tapas. Our room did have a drains issue smell at times in room 1353. We put a wet towel over the shower waste and that stopped it.

Thank you for a perfect stay I have stayed on many parts of the island and have stayed in palma nova torrenova and Calvià around 15 times over 30 years and this is by far one of the best huge selection of food / drinks staff amazing maid 5stsrs location central but away from crowds beach over the rd lots of sunbeds highly recommend

My room didn’t have the air conditioning working properly. Only part of the vents were workings in the ac and a bit difficult to sleep in the hot weather. My safe wasn’t working and had to request to replace after a few attempts and it took a while. Out of the two elevators to 7th floor one was broken for more than a day and had to wait for a long time for the lift. Staff were friendly but the hotel need to up their standards and more efforts need to be put into maintenance. It’s a very good hotel in a good location

The hotel in general was decent enough wit three swimming pools and couple of bars and the hotel is about 150m to the beach. The room we’ve got was not very well maintained( for unknown reason we got an handicap room) no chairs to sit, Water from the shower flooded everywhere in the bathroom, one of our bed was wobbly and unstable. House keeping didn’t change the bed sheets for 5 nights and didn’t care to fill up the coffee/tea bags as well as you hear people talking and sometimes screaming out side of the room. we asked for an upgrade/ change but the answer was its fully booked. The staff are pleasant. Need better

Location was fine and staff was nice. Unfortunately there was no laundry facilities for guests. We asked multiple times and never got a straight answer from staff about laundry availability. Then we’re finnaly told they would do it for 2.5 euros per piece. Would’ve cost hundreds of euros to do a load of laundry. Secondly, the air conditioning was not turned on for the most of the stay. It was about 80 degrees F (26C) on average. They said it wasn’t summertime yet so the AC wasn’t turned on. That’s great, accept it makes it hard to get good rest when the room is very hot. The AC did come on for our last night there. They must’ve decided it was now summertime. Overall an OK hotel but if I were to go again id look for somewhere else for the reasons mentioned above

Don’t stay here! It’s NOT like the Dreams Resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean

No beach set up - lounge chairs or food or beverage service
Staff Not Accommodating !!! Actually Rude!
We booked the best suite available in the Preferred Category…Not worth it
DO NOT do the All inclusive because you WONT want to eat there
Our room service was never delivered
Our bed was not set up as twins as we had requested even after we requested them remake it - it was never done
I wanted an information booklet in our suite about amenities/ room service / gym classes etc - was told they didn’t have on
They said they have 4 restaurants on site - No it’s one serve yourself room with 4 types of food you can order on your phone via an app. This was a terrible shock we only ate at dreams for one meal!
The preferred lounge mini bar was locked until 12 noon everyday - that meant NO Diet Coke to start my morning!
Never stay here!!!!!!

The hotel is clean and in a great location for getting into Palma/the airport. Room was big and overlooking the pool. Lots of choice for food, however, the setup of the street food dining area downstairs needs more staff/explanation of how it works. Also, one day we waited 1hour for lunch at the Oceana restaurant and staff were openly stressed and unhappy. Entertainment staff were lovely, others need to be a bit more aware of customer service. All in all a good stay and would come back! 😊

Wonderful resort. Room was a bit small but very clean and modern! Great pools but it is a 5-10 min walk to the beach as the hotel does not have beach access. We loved the entertainment but the hotel restaurants we tried (Market Café andLa Trattoria) were just ok. Would stay again and would recommend!

All good, apart from some of hotel staff struggling to communicate in English. Also no do not disturb sign in the room and minibar was empty. There was toothpaste stain in the bathroom and only a small bin in the bathroom. However the stay was very pleasant.

A wonderful hotel, located away a stones throw away from a beach and far enough away from the clubs so you don’t lose any sleep. Great for singles, couples and families. A large selection of cuisines. Nice walking distance to the shops and clubs. Lovely sea view from the balcony. A choice of swimming pools and evening entertainment. Highly recommended.

As a seasoned traveller I keep an open mind from staying in hostels to self catering to 5* all inclusive. After staying in dreams previous I did not expect to be so disappointed.
We paid to upgrade to the premier club not sure what we paid for. Room was nice however, no snacks, no robes, no slippers, the mini fridge had 2 beers and a can of soda. I am not a snob but if it is advertised and I’m paying extra then I would expect these extras.
All inclusive drinks are very limited, the selection is poor, all drinks taste the same and even with premier club why would I have to pay for some drinks not to mention how long the line ups and waits are to get drinks.
The supper and breakfast buffet was the same everyday day, no variety. The additional street food options weren’t always available they were so short staffed.
The evening entertainment was extremely poor and amateur, the Motown night was great but otherwise it was mediocre at best.
The property was nice but very boring, bare minimum daily entertainment.
The communication from the front staff very poor, you are given your keys and not given any information regarding what is included or available, the one day it appeared it may storm, the pool was closed and didn’t reopen. No one could give any information as to what was happening and the only entertainment when pool was closed was prerecorded football.
Finally the last night I had food poisoning.
Extremely disappointed and in no way the Hyatt standard I have had before.

Decent. Check in staff member was lovely. Some of the rooms a little dated. Horrible sewage smell from the bathroom - alert staff and no one came. We’re not sure if the smell passed or we got used to it 😂. Decent food options. Good options from some of the pool bars too. The alcoholic drinks did taste a little watered down but we still got a little buzz. Was sent a link to registered for late check out - never heard back and had to queue downstairs. Was told to “come the morning or check out”, went down at 8, told to come back at 9, came down at night, told to wait until manager came in. So a bit of a clunky process. Overall not a bad stay.

A lot of smiles, but no common sense

In general it’s a fine hotel. The hotel is big, but they have many areas, so it doesn’t feel chaotic. The staff however feels new and untrained. A lot of smiles, but no common sense and feeling of the bigger picture - and then a lot of small things that makes it feel less luxurious, eg you have to put a deposit for your beach towels, you can only get helpful answers on what’s going on in the hotel through the app and if you want a sunbed by the pool you have to “reserve” it from early morning with your towels.

The property was disappointing overall, and I would give it three stars. Despite upgrading to the preferred club suite for a better experience, we found it to be a letdown. The furniture was shabby, the minibar only provided two beers daily, and the housekeeper forgot to restock it on one occasion. Hand/face towels were not provided, and there was no bellman available to assist with our bags when we arrived. Additionally, premium liquor such as Jameson was available at an extra charge, and a deposit was required to take towels to the beach. Some restaurants were not open, which is understandable during the off-season, but it should have been communicated beforehand. This experience didn't live up to the standard of a Dreams resort, based on my previous experiences.

The hotel itself was nice but had no atmosphere what so ever. The staff were mostly miserable and made no effort to engage. General service was also sub standard.

The food was mediocre and even though we were all inclusive, we ended up eating out a lot. Hotel is not fully all inclusive where a lot of premium drinks are extra

We have stayed at many all inclusive resorts sadly we will not be returning to this hotel.

FANTASTIC STAY AT DREAMS CALVIÁ MALLORCA

we were 3 adults and had a wonderful stay at Dreams Calvia. The hotel has excellent location just by the beach and 2 swimming pools. Dinner is full of dish options and breakfast has a lot of choices.
The staff is very professional and helpful. Congratulations!
I truly think this hotel should be 5 star.

We booked all-inclusive. The check-in experience at the front desk was under-whelming. The computer system was slow had to use paper form. I think the front desk staff was new. Asked if our room was nice and her response was, \"I do not know, I hope so.\" Asked to have my World of Hyatt Membership Number added to the reservation and she did not know what this was, but asked a colleague who did enter it. We entered our room and was met with a moldy, foul smell and the bathroom shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap bottles were 1/2 empty There was a live bug found underneath the pillows on the bed that we disposed of. Dinner the first night, we ate at Market Cafe, the choices of food was very poor, the cod fish had many spines and bones and was very thin, the presentation was not good, we expected more choices, similar to those offered in Mexico. After dinner, we stopped at reception to express our concerns and they made notes in our reservation file electronically that would be directed to the local manager. They told us that the resort did not have another room for us to move to on this day, but maybe tomorrow this could be arranged. The Oceana Seafood Restaurant, is very disappointing - no seafood except for soup. We were downgraded to a Double room which was very clean and did not smell 5 days into our vacation (first available), we were upgraded to preferred status on the 3'rd day allowing access to all. All staff were excellent in their service. Won't return.

We have taken a little time to process our stay here so as, to be honest and sincere. The overall stay was OK but for the cost, left us a bit unimpressed/disappointed.

PROS:

- The room: large, comfortable, and more than suited to our needs with a small child/infant.
- The staff was overall, very friendly (some more than others) and did well in accommodating our requests.
- The location was ok and given that we were not very far from the party strip, was quiet and disconnected from that
- The two staff members for the kid's activities (a young Colombian gentleman and an Argentinian woman) were amazing and great with our 15-month-old.

CONS (NEED TO BE IMPROVED UPON):

- Preferred Club guest check-in (not efficient at all if there are multiple people checking-in at the same time).
- Room cleaning: every day of our stay, we had to call and request something they missed. (Empty all trash cans, sweep floor, basic things) and left cleaning supplies on the floor of the room one of the other days. Friendly staff, just not very thorough.
- Customer service response time: Had an accident with a clogged sink. Resolved only after calling 3 times throughout the course of a full day.
- No one to meet/greet you upon arrival and upon check out, no one asked how our stay was.
- Food: The variety was ok, but the quality of the food in the paid restaurants was underwhelming.

Overall: Great room, however, attention to guest experience needs a lot of improvement.

Nous sommes restés 10 jours avec mon fils à lhotel dreams calvia. Lhotel est tres confortable et tres propre. Il est récent et bien situé à 100m de la plage. Le personnel a été adorable avec nous. En particulier Ray qui a été un repère pour mon fils et une personne charmante et souriante, ainsi qu'Amanda qui nous a proposé de chouettes animations avec gaieté et dynamisme. Le restaurant était excellent matin, midi et soir. Petit bemol sur l'accueil et le temps passé au restaurant oceana pour la soirée sushis. La plage de magaluf est par contre un lieu de fêtes et de soirées arrosées, ce qui ne m'a pas convenue avec un petit enfant.

The staff was incredibly cordial and helpful.
The hotel and its various pools/restaurants were always clean and tidy.

The food at the restaurants was varied, but wasn't really that great.

The view from our sea view room was great.

The TV in our room could've been better by connecting it to the internet, because we only received a couple of British and Italian tv channels and no possibility of using netflix/youtube.

I sound a bit harsh, but the experience was great overall and I would recommend for anyone looking to visit a big hotel with many fun activities like karaoke and parties.

Olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä! Huoneemme oli respan talossa, 3. krs. Huone oli tarpeeksi iso kolmelle hengelle, parveke oli iso ja näkymä kaunis rauhallisemmalle altaalle. Huone oli siisti, minibaari täytettiin joka päivä ja se kuului hintaan. Meidän talon aamiaisravintolan terassi oli ”main poolin” vieressä ja näkymä oli todella kaunis! Aamiainen oli hyvä ja monipuolinen. Allasohjelma mukava ja iltashowt tasokkaat! Sijainti on hyvä, taksi ”kylille” maksaa 3-6 e, bussit (myös lentokentälle) kulkee läheltä. Rantaan on ihan lyhyt matka (ne auringonnousut!). Olimme vain aamiaisdiilillä. Kaikki kylän ravintolat ja palvelut olivat auki vielä 20.10. ja ruoka oli erinomaista joka paikassa. Kokeile rannalla Crazy ufoa, se oli mahtavan hauska aktiviteetti :) Viereisiin kyliin/rannoille kävelymatka. Hyvät ja turvalliset jalkakäytävät, mahtavat maisemat ja upeat 23-25 astetta lokakuussa. Kaikki puhuvat englantia. Ihana, rentouttava ja helppo loma!

Très bon hôtel. L’option tout inclus en preferred club est parfait. Très bon petit déjeuner, buffet correct (pas assez chaud), snack à l’Oceana avec une carte délicieuse. Bon cocktail. Différents restaurants. Équipe d’animation au top, l’équipe française et internationale sont intentionnées. Les piscines sont sympas mais pas chauffées. Plage à moins de 5min à pied. Très bon séjour 😊

Das Hotel ist im Innenraum wie über die Fotos vermittelt sehr schön, im Aussenbereich stimmen die veröffentlichten Bilder leider nicht mit der Realität überein. Es gibt weder Farbmix und noch die coole Lässigkeit der Werbebilder, sondern grau in grau. Alle Möbel grau, die Schirme weiss-blau gestreift. Das war für uns sehr enttäuschend.
Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Strand, der leider touristisch sehr überlaufen ist.
Für uns nicht ganz so zufriedenstellend, aber okay.

It’s full of Pale 16 year old boys from northern England away from their moms for the first or 2nd time , lacking class in any possible way.

on top of that , the receptionist are unwilling to consider late check outs and seems like they haven’t been Hyatt trained . hotel and rooms are fine , the breakfast is 2 out of 6 stars , always measure a hotel breakfast by their quality of juice . this is the most synthetic juice in all variations I have ever tried!
