My daughter and I had a fantastic holiday here. Rooms were fairly small but had compfy beds and kept spotless. Hotel is really quirky and great attention to detail! Every one is friendly. So much to do with the theme park and water park included and upgrade of €15 each for the golf and laser challenge was a bargain. Dont usually go for all inclusive but tried here and was really pleased we did. Lots of choice for every meal and never a queue for drinks. Would recommend and would absolutely book here again.

It’s a great place for kids, the whole experience is centered around children and family fun. The staff are very nice and the setup very safe.

Come home from here yesterday, food wasn’t the best it was very repetitive and could tell it was all cheap. We ate out quite a lot of times because it wasn’t appetising after being there for 10 days I was ready to come home.
The small and large pool kept cutting everyone’s feet so there was blood everywhere which isn’t very hygienic. I did report this to the life guards numerous times as they had to put stuff on the kids feet but they didn’t seem very bothered.
The rooms wasn’t cleaned by the cleaners all they did was make the beds and if you didn’t get up by 9 and have it done then it wouldn’t be made. I wasn’t really happy with this as my 6 year old spilled drinks on the floor so it was sticky and we had been to the beach a few times so there was sand on the floor.
The entertainment was really poor only 1 good show the whole 10 days.
On a plus side the kids really enjoyed it the splash park is brilliant, the crazy golf, upside down house and 4D cinema etc was brilliant.
Considering we went in these circumstances it was really good close to the town so plenty places to go and eat out and the beach is a 5 minute walk away. Glad I didn’t go when the strip is open as we are quite close to it so could even here the music coming from a few places that was open. Would of been shocking if the strip was open so wouldn’t advise going when it all re opens properly.
The hotel is very noisy as night as in people maybe people need to be considerate when it’s late.

The hotel is excellent for families , just got home from a 5 day stay, really impressed especially during the covid crisis , the hotel is lovely , drinks are good , entertainment is good , the only issue was the mask situation which is really irritating .
Food was ok ... had a brilliant time and will defiantly be returning next year hopefully by then things will be back to some sort of normal

Fantastic hotel for anyone with a young family. I’ve been twice this year with my 6-year old son. He loved the water park when we came in April. It was closed when we were here this week so we visited all the other attractions we didn’t get to see the last time. He lived it.

Exceptional property. Food, staff are brilliant. The only realy thing I can say is be ready for the noise outside.. it has nothing to do with the hotel its the other hotels guest near the property which is to be expeted when you are in Magaluf. Recommended when you have children they have everything children will enjoy.

It’s a shame really, the hotel is clean and lobby, reception and bar area is nice - the rooms are a bit basic and small, but perfectly fine.
The pool was good and the soft play was great for young kids. The staff were so lovely and it’s perfectly safe for the kids with an alarm system if children try and leave on their own.
It’s just such a shame that the hotel is so noisy and the noise goes on until all hours. I think the hotel could do with more action against the noise. Even signs up on each floor asking people to be quiet in respect of other guests.
There were a few fights we witnessed in our stay and the language of some was bad when there are young kids around. I left my room with my 5 year old and found a man outside feffing and jeffing about something and this was pretty standard to hear.
If the hotel could get behaviour of some in check it would be a good family hotel.

My son loves the park so much and we wish to go back next year if possible. The room is clean. The staffs are fab. Food is good and varieties. We hardly go anywhere except staying inside the resort. The staffs at the kids club are well train. My son didn’t want to go anywhere because of the clubs. There are so much to do inside the resort for children. Fabulous.

A perfect family hotel with great facilities. We were early, upon arrival we were greeted by the theme park manageress - what a credit to the hotel (lovely English lady). She arranged for our bags to be taken in and arranged wristbands to visit the theme park.

The hotel has selected some of the greatest staff, the staff couldn't do enough for you and extremely tolerant towards the children.

The hotel is close to the beach. Food was excellent and plenty of choice for vegetarians.

The only downfall during our stay 5 to 9 April was the hotel wasn't ready, work was going on throughout which spoilt our stay. It was opened prematurely as the pools weren't ready (although the hotel had a regular bus taking people to their sister hotel). The petrol cutting machinery was noisy which meant sitting on the balcony wasn't an option. Once the work is complete this wouldn't be an issue. The work is near completion and should be ready by 1 May 2019 - Shame Hotels.com didn't inform us prior to booking or going there.

AVOID the local shops, Aldi is opposite the hotel at the rear for water and fruits etc. The local shops charge what they want and tend to rip off the tourists.

All in all, the hotel is great, excellent location and facilities. Anything it lacks is made up by the wonderfully great staff!

Perfect with small children

A nice clean hotel with a fun park included. Great if you travel with small children. I would not recommend it to a couple without children, as there are really really a lot of children everywhere. Our children loved it, so we are happy. Great family hotel!

Staff were all first class in all parts of the hotel. The restrauant what a nightmare, it was just like a cattle market, 90% were children just running about and no organisation filling any of the food up when it had run out, it was an experience but never again.

Perfect for young kids.

Lovely hotel especially for kids. A lot of acrivities for young toddlers to keep them busy the whole day. The only downside is the room. The furniture is old and room lacks the basic amenities (no bathrobe, no slippers, no tissue inside the room, no minibar or coffee machine).
But anyway it was okay with us as long as our baby is enjoying and is safe to play while we go out to beaches and shopping alone!
Manuella in the reception was a huge help for us and very friendly.

We arrived late and were put in a room which must just been decorated, the toilet door wouldn't lock or shut properly due to the lock being painted with gloss paint. There were too many children too so we asked to change to another Sol hotel but were told no.We were moved rooms which was much better but for us still too many children, which seemed odd as most uk children were still at school whilst on our stay. The hotel seems to try very hard but is let down by the condition of the rooms and the noise. Not really adult friendly!

The park itself was amazing for my son. However, the room we got smelled bad (like fresh paint) and even my son was complaining about it. I was just staying one night so I did not bother to ask for a room change. Food was ok.

Hotel was ok but nothing special. BCM is 200m as crow flies so no sleep with louts shouting and screaming at all hours. Then to top it off, hotel cranks up the music as 8am at pool bar in the morning. Very dated plus one particular staff member on K3 Climb was very agressive with kids.

Close to everything but lacks organization

2nd time at this hotel after a great experience last year returned to find the hotel has sold out to big travel chains. So if u want to get up at 7am to secure a sun bed by the pool, que for drinks as only 1 bar is open - book away. Rooms are clean with fresh crispy bedding. Food ok but again loads of Queing and the staff can't keep the tables clean nor layed, ended up most nights getting the cutlery for our table. Great location for night life and good attraction for kids to visit. If ur staying at hotel to watch evening entertainment get there early due to lack of seating.

It's a bit noisy

Generally it was a positive experience staying at this hotel. Katmandu Park is perfect for the kids and the fact that it's free for hotel guests is excellent.

The location of the hotel is a bit two sided, it's nice and close to the beach, just a couple of minutes walk to the sea and lots of decent restaurants. The down side is its location in relation to BCM, and the fact that noise insulation from the doors onto the balcony is pretty much non existent. It was pretty tough for me to get a decent nights sleep due to the shouting from the streets and the noise from the corridors.

The hotel entertainment was pretty good, again, aimed at kids, so perfect for families.

All in all, the only downside is the fact that it's a little bit noisy, but we had a good time anyway.

A work in progress

The hotel on the whole is ok. This is still being refurbished and does offer good value for money. My group I was travelling with out of all the three rooms we had not one of them looked like the ones advertised. I would not recommend bringing children here as it is full of younger people going clubbing and being disruptive at night. The staff were very polite and welcoming. One of our rooms on arrival had half a bath and the air con wasn't repaired for 4 days and once this was repaired water started dripping out of it. The theme park is decent because it is free. This is a 5 min walk away from the strip so some of the rooms will be subject to noise.

Close to all the action!

Great kids club and ok entertainment on an evening best act was queen tribute. Food was ok plenty of choice for breakfast & evening meal. Once all the extras in the park is finished kids will love it. Obviously a resort for hens/stags - if u don't want this don't go! Rooms basic but clean with massive comfy bed!

I was on a short break with my daughter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sol Katmandu. There was some work going on at the hotel but this did not hinder our stay. The hotel was very central to the beach, shops, bars and restaurant and was suitable for all ages.

It's a building site but will be nice!

This hotel eventually will be very good as it's in a prime location and has lots of good facilities to offer but the day we arrived the hotel wasn't even open. We were the 1st guests and the place was a building site, but for the unconveiance we did get upgraded to all inclusive so can't really complain, although we never really used it as a young couple we were out all the time.
I was quite worried about noise but you couldn't really here to much. They said it will b complete by the end of May but I'm telling you that won't be finished till about August so bare in mind if your thinking of booking.
If you have kids it will great as you get unlimited access to the attraction (and the water park once it's built).
The pool is nice and the food was average. It's 2 minute walk to Magaluf main strip and BCM but also in the quiet area ...... So u can sleep!

Great hotel for children

I just returned from sol katmandu park and resort with my daughter who is 5. We had a wonderful time.
Positive points: location, across from theme house, nice kids activities and mini disco. Near the pirate show, the beach, the water park. Nice kids entertainers and good reception staff.
Negative: we were on the 5 th floor, right across from the big club. Even with windows closed, you could still hear the music - very loud. Very thin walls. Good breakfast, average dinner. We saw one cockroach during breakfast, but the staff quickly removed it.

I would recommend this hotel.

Great park and good quality hotel

I booked this, along with my 7 year old son, with the reservation of experiencing the 'Magaluf juveniles' which you expect from the name Magaluf, Benidorm, San Antonio etc.
I'm pleased to say that, along with Benidorm, which I went to last year, it was much cleaner and pleasant than I'd imagined.
The hotel itself is about 200 metres from 'the biggest nightclub in Majorca', BCM and BCM square.
Even though we were so close the noise was no where near excessive, ok we had some of those 'juveniles' down the hall who woke me on a couple of occasions about 3.30 in the morning but even so I soon popped off to sleep again so no big deal.
Having said that, what they should do when they find out they are a bunch of lads or girls then put them on the lower floors maybe?
The food was good and varied and of course the park adjoining the hotel, which was all free to hotel guests, was excellent with its 2 mini golf courses (Best and prettiest courses I've ever played on).
Lifts in the hotel take an absolute age to arrive so if you are near the lower floors its best to walk to your room.
Above all this is a 3 star hotel and it fills in for a good quality 3 star and if they make the upgrades next year (No single sex parties and sound proofed rooms it could quite easily become a 4 star.
Reception staff are friendly but their system takes to long to check you in, only complaint.

Great location with local bus services and various car/motorcycle hire companies in vicinity.
Free access to Katmandu park up till 6pm. Walking distant to clubbing Mecca BCM in one direction and family orientated shopping and restaurants the other direction. Beach is short walking distant. The hotel itself has very clean rooms and polite staff. Morning breakfast buffet has good variety to suit most. As with anywhere in Magaluf - Groups of young lads n lasses with hormonal highs are to be expected being a club central especially during high season. I would certainly recommend this hotel for families as well as the usual stag/hen groups, singles and couples. The only drawback - no wifi in rooms

Nice hotel, shame about the staff

Recently visited the Sol Katmandu and really enjoyed the stay. The hotel is clean and the pool area nice. The hotel is only a short walk to the beach and strip so has an excellent location. HOWEVER, the reception staff in this hotel appeared to range from UNHELPFUL to RUDE. Do not expect it to be easy to check-in and be prepared to wait in line. Our room also overlooked BSM square so was quite noisy, not a major problem if you plan on staying out late anyway.

Hotel being refurbished at the moment. Wasn't told there would be building work. Room wasn't ready when we arrived. After waiting for 2 hrs, we were given a room with a door that didn't lock. Maintenance were sent to repair it, so we went out & left them to get on with it.. Came back 2 hrs later to find a completely steaming drunk young lad asleep in my bed!! Complained to the manager & she blamed us for not locking the door!!! Her maintenance were supposed to have repaired it! Didnt feel safe in the room after that so asked to be moved.Disgusting service, wouldn't stop here again if it was the last hotel in Maga!!

The only thing this hotel has got going for it is the rooms are very clean.
I stayed for one week with a friend ( we are both female), we were woken up every night, due to the DRUNKEN noise of the other guests mostly gangs of young males, starting at 3.00 in the morning and continuing untill about 7.00 then at 8.00 the cleaners would arrive.we only made it to breakfast on the first morning, the other mornings we were so tired that we missed breakfast.
We were on the first floor with a flat roof in front of our balcony.
The male guests would shout and swear to one another from there balconies, bottles,plastic table and chairs, cigerette butts,food,and a towel and sheet full of vomit was throwen from the balconies and landed on the flat roof,on a daily and nightly basis we did ring security numerous times during the night but to no avail. one security guard for a ten story hotel !!! a joke. if u are male aged between 18 and 25 this is the hotel for you, if you are over this age or have children please please avoid this hotel like the plague. we found the same on the beaches gangs of young men who were drunk 24/7 not a place that I will ever visit again. there have been seven deaths in Magalluf so far this season, one of those deaths happened while we were there, a drunk woman drowned at night .I was ashamed to be british as I can only decribe the men out there as loud mouthed ignorant animals.Oh and there is about seventy men to one woman holiday maker.

approx 18 of us gents on a 4 day weekend stag do in magalluf.
the hotel is basic and a little tired BUT this did not matter because the main items required for a good lads break was there and very well managed- the hotel is very well policed so that the party goers did not get OT in front of the family stayers and the bars, food and pool area were an enjoyable place to be.
Location for Magaluf- almost perfect, it is a 3 minute walk to the Club square and 4 minutes to the bottom of the strip- 5 minutes to the beach. There are some nice little bars and restaurants just outside the hotel.
The taxi from the airport was €40 each way including a tip.
The hotel rooms were basic but adequatelz equiiped and have small balconies to catch some fresh air on.

A nice size Hotel with all the ameneties of a 3 star. A well run restraunt with plenty selection of foods. May has comfortable temperatures in Magalluf and the resort is not to busy. Do expect to find groups of hen and stag parties around the resort and plenty of appeal to over 55's

Very nice hotel just a five minute walk from the beach. Rooms cleaned every day of our stay and food very nice with ample choice. Staff very friendly and even called our room to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. Just far enough away from clubs so you can sleep at night. Only down side is that beds are ROCK hard, so have plenty to drink before going to bed as you will wake up early! Would stay here again.

Extremely family-friendly hotel. Impressive and consistent layout of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and the facilities at the hotel are very good. The location of the hotel is also very good. A 25 minutes drive from the airport. From the hotel, there's not far to Palmanova and Palma. Also a short drive to marine land. Only thing pulling the experience down slightly is the quality of the food at the hotel. Some days it was good, and other days not so much. It is obvious that a lot of the food is precooked.

Haben das Hotel am selben Tag der Anreise wieder verlassen und haben uns ein anderes gesucht. Leider war unsere Buchung nicht erstattungsfähig. Selten so eine schreckliche Absteige gesehen.

Sympa mais besoin d’amélioration !!

Hôtel sympa , top pour les enfants qui trouvent leur bonheur !! Propreté impeccable, service agréable, par contre très déçu de la nourriture , à améliorer !!! également mauvaise insonorisation dans le bâtiment et les chambres ! Literie correcte mais peu mieux faire , Chambres très simple niveau déco et qui ne ressemblent pas du tout aux photos présentées sur le site ... Manque d’animation en journée et en soirée , seulement 1 bar le soir ... trop d’attente !!

Hotel bol dobry, strava aj cistota. Bol zrekonštruovaný, takže izby boli dobre. Personál milý a nápomocný.
Negatívny. Hotel je predražený na tu oblast,a za všetko chcu príplatok, a hlavne polpenzia, ako sme mali my. Napoje aj k vecery, aj voda, aj polovica atrakci nieje v cene.Hlucne okolie, najme pre mladistvých, disco atd.. A nie pre rodiny z detmi.Takze vela hlucnich a opitých Angličanov co vam ziapu celu noc pod oknom, a na druhy den ma polovica monokle a zlomené nosy.

Dire MERAVIGLIOSO per i bambini è dire poco!!! Unico nel suo genere... bellissimo, pulito, nelle camere, piscina, parco acquatico, giostre, non ci si può annoiare.. cibo buona qualità!! Carne e pesce dolcì.. pizza e pasta ovviamente non a livello eccellente per i gusti italiani... ma il resto è davvero il top... la colazione meravigliosa.. attenzione per i bambini (hanno fatto trovare un regalino per il compleanno del mio bambino ).. non esiste un hotel che abbia tutto questo... a questi prezzi... però... la location è tra le peggiori mai viste... Magaluf pieno di ragazzi ubriachi che fanno casino tutta la notte.. orribile... mare non tra i migliori di Maiorca ma nonostante questo qualsiasi bambino era ansioso di tornare.. (clientela per la maggior parte inglese).. ottimo soggiorno in rapporto qualità prezzo....

Das Hotel im Empfangsbereich, Pool, Freizeit ist schön. Unser Zimmer extrem klein, anfangs schmutzig. Das Bad echt runtergekommen, lieblos ausgestattet. Definitiv nicht 4 Sterne. Das \"Restaurant\" für Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet an sich nett, aber extrem laut (baulich bedingt). Sonst echt ok.

Die Anlage ist absolut empfehlenswert! Vor allem für Familien. Alles wunderbar!! Vom Essen über Sauberkeit oder Freundlichkeit!! Alles Top! Standardzimmer würden wir allerdings nicht mehr nehmen da sie sehr klein sind. Das einzig erschreckende ust...wie manche Gäste sich respektlos benehmen und HAUFENWEISE von den Speisen stehen lassen! Fast schon beschämend!

Todo perfecto menos la limpieza de la habitacion
Dos dias tuvimos que bajar a recepcion para que nos hicieran la habitacion , el martes a las 8,30 de la tarde y el miercoles a las 6,30 de la tarde y aun asi hacian solo la cama y poco mas. Habia manchas en ciertos sitios que duraron hasta que nos marchamos.
No parecio que se molestaran nada por las quejas.
De lo demas no tuvimos queja alguna , al contrario muy amables y competentes.

Super sympa pour les enfants grâce au parc avec la maison à l’envers, en plus la plage n’est pas loin, mais la piscine est moins tentante car les transats sont les uns sur les autres, tout est bétonné...
Mais attention, hôtel très bruyant à cause des enfants dans l’hôtel et des fêtards à l’extérieur !!

Big hotel in a good position and a great park

the hotel is a big structure in Magalluf, near the movida and near the beaches (Magalluf is at 200 metres and Palmanova 5-10 minutes by feet). there are many attractions in the park for the residents and for the visitors (not free for the visitors), a nice mini golf with 18 + 18 holes, various games in 4D and a Magic house with many things to see and to play inside. Food is not bad, good quality but few choices, the lunch room is too little and sometimes we had to wait...We appreciated the snakes offered in the afternoon and late morning at the pool bar, hamburgers, hot dog, fruit, icecreams, yoghourt, chips and drinks (only if you choose all inclusive, and it's my advice). Pools are nice but a little small for the structure. The real problem for this hotel are the rooms, family rooms for three or four person are very small, if you get the bigger one you have no terrace and no place outside the beds, if you chose the terrace the room is even smaller, we was very disappointed about the room.

Hôtel très bien pour les enfants avec le park aquatique free et le park à thème, l’hotel très bien situé ,la plage à moins de 3 minute à pied, ainsi que tout les petit commerce et autre activité sont sur place .un peut de monde au bord de la piscine à partir de 11 h impossible de trouver un transat pour mettre ça serviette vaut mieux la poser vers 9h des l’ouverture .. mdr
Pas mal de monde dans l’hôtel et dans les rue normal c’est Magaluf,un peut bruyant au milieu de tout c’est immeuble quand les gens pousse des crie ou chante un peut , c’est les vacances ....
Pour manger c’est tres très bien pour en tout inclus .. la bouffe est bonne et très varié..rien à dire à ce niveau là .
Le personnel est au petit soin , mon fils à fait une allergie à un fruit , on a été tout de suite prit en charge par l’ambulance qui est arriver 5 min àpres... l hôpital est public rien eu besoin de payer .. hallucinant pour un pays qui roule pas sur l’or..
Les vacances ce sont très bien passé , je recommence cette hôtel ..
Attention pas trop de francofone dans l’hôtel . Surtout anglais et allemand .

Bello, ma da migliorare

Hotel carino, ma non tenuto bene (muri scrostati, polvere nei corridoi) potrebbero migliorare la manutenzione generale, oltre alla pulizia..siamo arrivati in camera (standard) e sul pavimento c'erano polvere e qualche carta di caramella, segno che non era stato pulito il pavimento. Anche le strutture dei letti erano vecchie e logore. Il personale è disponibile e gentile. Il cibo molto vario e buono, abbondante.
Attenzione per chi ha bimbi piccoli: NON fidatevi del tizio alla reception della casa dello yeti, ci ha detto che era adatta a noi (con una bimba di 2 anni e mezzo), senza dirci né mostrarci cosa avremmo visto, ci siamo fidati ma invece era terrorizzata e urlava piangendo fin da subito, c'era un'altra famiglia con una bimba di 5 anni pure lei terrorizzata e in lacrime. Vie di fuga di emergenza non ce ne sono, abbiamo passato dei minuti orribili. NON consiglio assolutamente x bimbi piccoli.
Altra nota dolente: hotel a maggioranza di clienti inglesi che disturbano e urlano durante la notte, corrono x i corridoi, bevono, si ubriacano e lanciano oggetti dalle terrazze.
Lo avevamo scelto perché sembrava carino x i bimbi, ma in realtà non ci tornerei.

I oktober var vattenparken stängd. 7-åringen fann mycket annat att göra på hotellområdet medan det var svårare för 3-åringen (varning för uppochner-huset som kan upplevas otäckt. Ingen höjdare för den m klaustrofobi heller). Lyhört och ofta sena shower på innergården. Ta med öronproppar! Mycket att välja på till frukosten som öppnade kl 08. Grillen vid middagsbuffén var toppen! Ingen vattenkokare på rummet, men sköna sängar. Poolerna var iskalla, men havet skönt. 20E deposition för badlakan. Två jättefina, nästan folktomma (i oktober), stränder på kort promenadavstånd. Transfer tog 20 min med taxi, Easy-taxi tog halva priset (40 E) jämfört med hotellets egna transfer. Sammantaget hade vi en fin semester, men väljer nog ett lugnare hotell nästa gång. :)

Superbt läge i Magaluf, perfekt för barnfamiljer.
Bra frukostbuffét och ett stort plus att en del av attraktionerna intill ingick för hotellets gäster.
Något slitet rum som hade behövt lite bättre möjligheter till torkning av handdukar och badkläder.
Städningen kunde vara bättre då det var ett tjockt lager damm ovanpå kylskåp och tillhörande möbel.
