Property was amazing. Really enjoyed the stay overall and the view was spectacular. The staff were very kind and helpful overall with any questions and concerns we had. Room service was great and cleaned up the room very well. Had the half-board including breakfast and dinner which was amazing and was very happy with the variety of options available each day. The only downside we had seen was that they did charge for towels for the pool and that there was no complimentary water during dinner as you had to pay for any drinks you'd like. Other than that, the place was well maintained, clean, safe, and a great location for traveling around the coastline!

This is property is everything and more…. From the good breakfast to the helping staff to the amazing views. The only thing I didn’t really enjoy is walking up the property because the property is located on a hill but it’s worth stay and price.

We loved our stay at the Florida Magaluf! We had everything we needed but we really were only at the hotel for sleeping and cleaning up. We spent all of our time exploring the island and taking in the sites of Mallorca. We would definitely come back though as the hotel was lovely, clean, great views, and nice staff!

Fantastic views , very clean , breakfast amazing, location of hotel amazing . 10 min walk to Magaluf, 15 to Palmanova . Shops , bars, restaurants all within few mins walk away.
Only downside is it is a steep walk to the hotel either by road or part steps ( about 100) then road. I can image it being a nightmare with a wheelchair or pushchair . Certainly not for anyone with mobility issues or perhaps the older generation. It was hard work . If this isn’t an issue for you then go for it , would I stay again - most definitely.

First time trying this hotel we normally stay at elba sunset 2 hotels down .but thought we try hotel florida

Very nice hotel clean food was excellent hot well presented.

I paid extra for the larger room on arrival with stunning sea views from 7th floor .i was thinking of up gradeing to the suit hang loose this is the best room with its own balcony sun terrace beds stunning but expensive. We are going back in april next year and will try this room as its a little cheaper then .

Overall very nice towards the top end of prices depending on time of year and room

We had half board double Seaview 7th for 5 nights £1400 hotel only

Great Hotel!

The staff at this hotel were so accommodating and friendly. The view from the balcony room was outstanding! The room was clean and sparse which added to the cleanliness. The breakfast every morning was wonderful! The hotel is a bit of a walk from a beach but very doable. We were extremely happy with our hotel stay and wish it was closer to home so we could return more often.

Average. I didn’t like Magaluf area as much as other areas of Palma. It’s difficult to get a taxi easily. An Uber was $25 for a 1.7 mile drive. The hotel buffet was mid. Local restaurants opened at 6pm. During the day, it’s a ghost town. I hated that I couldn’t control my balcony light. In the evening, it would have been nice to turn it off to enjoy the sea view in peace.

This property was above and beyond our expectations. The pool are was phenomenal. We spent most of our days relaxing by the pools. The hotel also offered beach access that you could easily walk to. The rooftop bar was breathtaking with scenic views of the city. The free breakfast was amazing. A plethora of options of food to start the day. I found myself loading my plates with new foods every morning while sitting on the outdoor balcony and enjoying the views. It was close walking distance to bars and restaurants as well. We had a huge balcony in our room too. Everything we could have hoped for and more!

Staff friendly, location on top of steep hill. Be ready to walk steep hill to get to hotel. Parking is available but 23$ USD a day and you have to shotgun it in the morning before 9. Air conditioning was dysfunctional, I’d set it for 22 degrees but it would freeze us overnight. On her second tours of room service, our roomservice lady didn’t mop. Other than that, nothing to say.

The room are not sound proof at all. You could easily hear next room talking.We had to pay more than 100 euros extra to change the room into the main building which was more soundproof.The breakfast and dinner was great. The view from balcony is great. Night entertainment was great. Food in the bar very good. It is a short walk to the beach. Not so many dinnig and shopping near the hotel. Transport is not very easy best option would be taxi.

This hotel is overrated! Bed is very hard, you are given 1 ½ pillows ( 1 full pillow and a ½ pillow) per bed, 2 towels to be used in the room and the pool, (if you want another towel you need to exchange your wet towel for a clean towel), hotel only offers buffet dinner which is just okay, (no room service and limited shop closes early), bar offers very limited choices ( maybe 6-8 cocktail drinks). The shops and restaurants are located 10 minutes away via a steep hill. Lounge chairs are limited by the pool. The only beach is a very tiny rocky area. One good thing is the hotel is clean. I am not sure how this place is so well rated....

Not as expected.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The staff were unfriendly and did not allow me to bring my girlfriend to my room just because she was not checked in, even though she only planned to stay for a short visit and then leave. She lives in Spain, so it was very unfortunate that I couldn’t have her as a guest, especially considering the high price I paid for my stay (almost 30,000 SEK). For the cost, I expected more flexibility and better service.

We’re a couple in our 30s and had the most amazing time. The hotel was spotless (thank you to gala for cleaning our room so well) and the view was beautiful. The walk up the hill is a bit steep in hot weather but it wasn’t an issue for us. Food options were great too - we chose half board. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they all genuinely seemed happy at work, always upbeat and welcoming to everyone. We noticed too that if anyone tried to leave towels on the sun beds that the lifeguard monitored it. At meal times staff were always over within a minute or two to clear the table and constantly topping up the buffet so it was always full. I can’t recommend hotel Florida enough!

We left feeling disappointed in our stay. I really hope the following comments can be taken constructively to make improvements for other guests.
We had the following issues:
* Elevators repeatedly not working (these were tiny too so often a long wait)
* Power cut for over an hour in the middle of the night. Room was boiling & ruined our sleep as emergency lighting turned on in the room. Never acknowledged by anyone. The whole hotel was up because of it & it was noisy.
* Room tag stopped working mid stay, was locked out in my pjs after i went to get a drink of water on my floor. Had to walk up to reception in inappropriate clothing.
* 10 euros for beach towels, 18 euros for car parking per night. Seems very disproportionate pricing. Towels should not cost.
* Loud music till 11pm.
* Gym was a let down in terms of equipment.
* Bag storage before check in was unsafe & not monitored. They told us to go put our bags in an unlocked side room ourselves.
* Calls to our room at 7:30am about a rental car that wasn’t due back till later in the day. Woke us up.
* Room service came in at 8:45am on the day of our checkout before we had left.

On the upside, we really enjoyed the included breakfast & view from our room.

The breakfast is very good, with plenty of options to choose from — definitely one of the highlights. The views from the hotel are beautiful.

The parking situation is terrible. There are not enough parking spots around the hotel, and it took us up to an hour each evening to find a place to park.

The pool was kind of small, pretty shallow, and lacked enough chairs.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel was great- nice pool area, good restaurant etc…however the area was not the best. It was filled with younger tourists who were there for a party. So if you’re looking for authentic Mallorcan experiences, would suggest finding an alternate location or renting a car and leaving for majority of the day (although don’t come back too late as the streets fill up and it’s difficult to drive).

We wanted to be on the water, but not in a big marina—somewhere beautiful that we could swim and do some beaches / beach clubs! This hotel definitely met those needs!

A few things that I’d want to know if I were considering this hotel are as follows:

1. The hotel is beautiful overall and located between lots of beach clubs and promenade restaurants.
2. The rooms are extremely small. We could hardly move.
3. They have parking, but it’s pending availability and not easy to obtain (plus it’s 18/day)
4. The staff, especially Sweety, are amazing.
5. The restaurant they have is a buffet. It’s 24/pp for dinner, 15/pp for breakfast, and it’s decent… we ended up there a few times because of convenience. Every time we’d try to go somewhere else, parking was a struggle, or we just knew we’d spend 4x the cost, so we went to the hotel restaurant instead.
6. There’s ocean access (and it’s gorgeous), but it’s a bit rocky / dangerous. My husband swam and so did some other folks but the pool is a bit safer!
7. They are very strict about towel usage, which for us was frustrating. Getting additional towels or even just clean towels either cost extra money or we had to go back and forth with the staff to make happen.
8.There are SEVERAL bars, restaurants, shops and more just a quick walk away! Be aware though that the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill, so you will have to walk up and down that.

Overall, amazing though :) We’d return here if there was a bigger room available.

On our final night it was my wife’s birthday and room service brought us a bottle of cava. These were really nice touches. My husband and I spent a few days here hoping to enjoy a bit of peace and some sunshine. The hotel was great, breakfast was amazing. Lots of choice.
There was however, a week long Zumba fitness camp which was very loud and there were several classes every day on the terrace outside our apartment. I love music and dancing but this was a bit much and we would have appreciated being made aware of this when we booked. Due to the fitness camp the hotel was a lot busier than we expected.

Saying that I do recommend this hotel, great location. The rooms are nicely decorated, huge dining room and the reception staff were very helpful.

Relaxing at a very nice hotel. Like an eagle nest on Torrenova with wonderful views of the Mediterranean down under. The whole hotel shined in white and had a marvelous seaside and sunside location. Only minus is that the pool wasn’t heated and the beds was little to hard for me. Love that I could bring my boys who was over 16 at this adult hotel. If you walk down to Palmanova or Magaluf be prepared of the steep hill when you go home again. But a taxi up hill was only about 4,5 €

We had a fantastic 4 night stay here, the location of the hotel is right on the coast with amazing sea views. Just a short 10 minute walk takes you down to the front with lots of lovely restaurants on the promenade.
Breakfast was plentiful, staff friendly and cleanliness high all round.
We had a late flight home and booked the courtesy room (free of charge) to shower which enabled us to make the most of our last day.
Would highly recommend.

We have just returned from 4 nights in Hotel Florida and had a fantastic stay! All of the staff were friendly/helpful. We arrived a couple of hours early so hoped to be able to leave our bags whilst we explored but as our room was ready they let us have the room straight away.
We spent some time lounging around the pool area/bar each day, there was always music playing and a great atmosphere.
Hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast had a wide selection.

The hotel is at the top of a steep hill, this wasn’t an issue for us but might make a difference to others.

Everything promised and more was delivered. Breakfast was good quality and over long time period (allowed early start or lie in!). Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Room was clean and power shower was amazing.
Location was good and easy access to both Magaluf and palma Nova beaches and attractions.
Paid extra for sea view and for large balcony with private sun beds and this was well worth it.

We loved our stay at Hotel Florida and would love to stay again/would gladly recommend. The resort felt quiet compared to others we've booked in the past, and compared to the nearby Son Matias area. Son Matias is walkable though and there are many options for food, drinks, and shopping. The onsite restaurant was very convenient as well. We loved that there were many places to tuck away along the coastline, which allowed us to be near the action or not. We stayed in the Siesta Suite which was well worth the upgrade - the private rooftop was stunning and the room had everything we needed.

I stayed here for 2 weeks as a single solo traveler who was working remotely. The internet service was reliable and extremely good through out the different areas of the property making it flexibke for me to work from my room, my balcony, the bar by the pool or the lobby area.

Breakfast was clean and variable and so tasty.

The pool was always incredibly clean, chairs do tend to get \"saved\" in the morning but if u know that and put your things down no one will move or take them.
The entertainment was wonderful at the pool. No music until about 12pm which gave everyone a relaxing morning, then afro beats and sometime live sax player in the afternoon. Such a great vibe!

As i went in October there were no \"partiers\" everyone was calm, quiet and respectful at all hours.

Beds were comfy and i loveddddd my balcony seaview!

There is also a path to a cove to swim during the day.

Palma nova which is the beach next to the hotel is so lovely and a quick 10min walk with so many places to eat and have a cocktail.

I have the best time and the staff were always so friendly and accommodating. Also speak multiple languages including my native English/ Spanish, I heard German, Dutch, Russian and Portuguese!

I never felt unsafe once at the hotel. They also have tours at the front desk ( which i recommend the 8 hour tour to Soller with church, boat ride, cliffs and tram/train).

Parking is terrible there, you better book in advance they only have less than 10 spots available at all times. Good luck finding parking on the street.
I didn’t like that you had to pay extra for Pool Towels
The dinner food in the restaurant was not good, save your self $50 and go somewhere else. The breakfast Buffett was decent.

Amazing views from this excellent property on the top of a hill overlooking the ocean. Take a right and after a short walk you are on the beach in Palma Nova, take a left and you are on Magaluf beach. Food was great and plenty of things to do close bye. Pool and bars are excellent. We were in a Superior ocean front corner room and the views were incredible!

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Florida very much.
Check in was easy and quick. We had a room with a sun deck on the 3rd floor facing the water. It was as advertised and comfortable. The view was great, and we enjoyed watching the many yachts and day sailers.
We purchased the half board with our room. The breakfast and dinner had many choices and we always found something we really liked. We found this to be an excellent value.
The beach is a short walk or you can jump in the water from the rocks at the hotel. Exiting the water is difficult here but a short swim and you can walk out. Water shoes recommended.
The water in the swimming pool was cold but refreshing in the heat.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return.

Parking is a shame, they should provide an alternative instead of leaving people stranded on a one way road with nowhere to park outside the property, plus they do not even let you in the driveway of the property to allow a safe luggage drop off and check in process.

We only had 3 days here but we would have loved to stay longer if possible. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful (English well spoken thankfully as my Spanish is very minimal). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with a balcony overlooking the ocean.
They also make many efforts to be sustainable which we appreciated (we are scuba divers and are very aware of ocean fragility with island populations).
Pool deck was lovely (bar & food avail.) and there were many spaces to enjoy the sun or shade (lots of umbrellas).
We chose to include breakfast and it was great value - many options, all fresh, for full breakfast. We had dinner one night at the hotel and the buffet was very good then too.
Either beach in the area is minutes away walking, and there is lots going on but the hotel itself was not rowdy or noisy.

I highly recommend this destination for couples!

Lovely staff, great food, the most beautiful, sandy beach…. We also enjoyed the large pool. This is our 49th anniversary and they sent up Cava. Such a thoughtful, Spanish treat.
