Upon arrival we was taken to the wrong hotel, as it was poorly signed, please take note that there is the sister hotel down the road, we then went to the correct hotel. Check in was chaos, the stuff was stressed, understaffed and rude, we were promised an early check in as I messaged the hotel prior. We then arrived at 10:30am, and then we couldn’t check in, was promised if we come back at 12:00noon we could get in our room, we had been up since 2am, went back at 12, no luck we didn’t get into our room until 4pm, even when check in ‘opens’ at 3. We then was put in another building across the road. The room itself which was a family apartment and the pictures did NOT match. The room was completely different to the pictures online, the hotel was as well, the only thing what matched was the view. The pressure on the shower was shocking and went hot and cold.

The sunbeds by the pool is like a war, the pool supposedly opens at 7am, but the 5 days we was there people had towels down even earlier than this and sunbathing and there was physically no room for everyone staying at the hotel. The second pool in the building we were staying in was in complete shade and didn’t get any form of sun so everyone uses the main pool.

If you have a late flight you can’t get a late check out there is a long lost and they charge 80 euros, the shower facilities are disgusting and smelt damp and you can tell they have not been cleaned, definitely not a 4* hotel!

This is a great hotel in a great location, everything was grand the food, the entertainment, staff,. Only issue i had was with our bathroom which needs updated due to moulding around the shower area which made it look a bit unsightly

No sea view with family room, we were in the back suites, although photos on hotels.com showed that.

The one annoying thing is the cleaning staff consistently entering the room even though we had the \"do not disturb\" sign on the door. And this happened on multiple days...

Något slitet hotell och rummen kunde städas bättre. Vi hade all inclusive och under all kritik att man inte kunde få vatten på flaska på rummen utan vi fick köpa det själv. Vatten har alltid ingått på andra all inclusive hotell. Detta hotellet svarade med att man kunde dricka vatten i restaurangen men hur gör man när man är utanför restaurangen. Det var förbjudet att fylla på från egen flaska i restaurangen. Maten var ok men alltid osaltat och smaklös.

The Hotel is in a fantastic location right on the water at the end of the beach. Staff and service was good and the upgraded room we had was also very good. The entertainment was a bit poor and the food was average. Overall reasonably good value for money.

4 star hotel but 3 star rooms

While the hotel is 4* our room certainly wasn’t. The size was great and so was the view. However the furniture was shabby, the sink had a big chip and the hairdryer blew only cold air. There was no aircon so we had to leave the door open to the balcony which kept banging shut if it was breezy. Also one night the guests below were smoking weed on their balcony so we had to shut the door. The pool area is great but hard to find a sunbed because despite the hotel policy, guests were reserving beds with towels and then using them for maybe an hour that day. The hotel is on a steep hill and for us it’s a bit too close to Magaluf. There are many lovely restaurants and bars in the area and the beach is fantastic. If you can afford it, go for the junior suite, the balcony is amazing!

Lovely hotel on the cliff, great location overlooking the bay, close to the beach and local restaurants; not too noisy compared to closeby Magaluf.
Very good food for a buffer, different every day, friendly staff. Price ok and very nice room with view of sea&pool (deluxe). Friendly, comfortable atmosphere, easy to reach by local bus from Palma airport. I'll definitely return.

My daughters and I stayed @ the Leonardo Royal for 4 nights and enjoyed our time there. Wonderful breakfast buffet to start the day, friendly staff, beautiful views, property is pretty, walk to restaurants or supermercado. We taxied to different parts of Mallorca during the day and were happy to come back to the Leonardo.

Great location and found the staff on reception and in general all week to be excellent and helpful - great that there are a couple of blocks and options in terms of pool areas and bars - only slight issue we found is lifts and waiting - because of the split between buildings and separate lifts for getting to beach and main pool, you often have to wait for multiple trips for lift whixh are also really small so if you have a baby and pram like we did you cant fit or share with others so often had to wait quite a while to get a free and empty lift to get to lobby and then to get down to pool

Very disturbing vibrations going down in the walls from roof top machinery for ventilation all night. No good if you are on holiday for some rest and sleep...
You will soon have a mayor problem with water leakage in the bathroom. The pastic wall carpet is coming off.

Hotel was average, sadly a few staff were not overly pleasant, especially the guy on the outside snack bar. I ordered a ham and tomato sandwich, he made it with cheese,i said nicely that this wasnt what id ordered and he threw it in bin in anger, slammed the plate down and made a rude remark to me. Wouldnt go back.

This is not a four star hotel

Certainly not a four star hotel. We were double charged for the stay, the elevator broke and we were stuck and then blamed though we had the right amount of people in it. The carpets are generally dirty. The overhead shower in our room was broken. The putting towels on sun loungers thing should’ve been left in the nineties but still exists here. The music by the pool was appalling and too loud. Nobody wants to hear Teen Spirit on a Saturday lunch time. The entertainment guy was enthusiastic but grating.

The worst hotel in the world

Dear Customer Service Team,

I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Mallorca. I stayed for 3 days, and unfortunately, it was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

First of all, the room we were assigned was in unacceptable condition. It was visibly dirty, with mold on the walls, and the smell was unbearable. We tried to request a room change, but were given no reasonable alternatives.

Additionally, the hotel staff, from security personnel to waiters and receptionists, were rude and unprofessional. No one smiled, nor did they make any effort to be welcoming. It felt as though we were an inconvenience to them at every turn.

The breakfast and dinner schedules were unnecessarily strict, and as the time approached, we were practically rushed out by staff as if we were unwelcome.

Overall, our stay was a nightmare, and we would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of cleanliness, customer service, and basic hospitality was appalling.

I expect that these issues will be addressed promptly, as no guest should have to endure such a negative experience

The hotel room and communal areas were filthy dirty. The room was musty; the bedding smelt unwashed, we found hairs all around the bathroom and the furniture was chipped/dented wherever you looked. In the minibar we found a half drunk bottle of water.
We choose to checkout after one night and move to another property.
The manager could only offer us a deep clean of our existing room or to move to a room with a worse view.
We lost one nights stay even though we arrived at 1am and checked out by 9:30.
We did appreciate the hotel agreeing to refund the rest of the nights that we did not stay at the property.

We had an excellent stay last week. The staff were lovely, the location is perfect. Everyone really enjoyed. The views are spectacular and I found the hotel quiet.
We paid for all inclusive and that is what we received. No limits on alcoholic drinks. We went kayaking for free with the hotel and they were very accommodating. The sea was lovely and great you could access from the beach or the steps.
You can take a short walk on the boardwalk to the beach in Palmanova where there was lovely bars and great promenade.
I wouldn't listen to the negative reviews.
The only downside for us, was the kids club was not accessible for our stay. This was due to it being closed at our part of the hotel.

I stayed at the Leonardo Royal for a week with my big teens and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
We spent time by the pool which was never too busy. We had space to do our on thing. There were decent restaurants close by if we wanted to eat out. We went for all inclusive and found there was a variety of good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner PLUS the pool bar food options too!
Staff were friendly, helpful and approachable.
The beach was super close too with crystal clear sea, good for snorkelling and plenty of water sports on offer.
I’d definitely recommend this hotel for a family holiday.

The Hotel and catering staff were good. We did not have any complaints during our stay. The selection of food in the hotel at meal times was very good also. (keep up the good work Santiago along with the rest of the catering team).

The star quality must be given to to the entertainers that do there best to keep the entertainment moving throughout the day and some evenings, as well as keeping the children excited. They also provided kids activities each day with set times for each, that was always on time.

In the evenings there was entertainment put on for kids and for adults. Different shows by entertainers or singers that are brought into the hotel also.

The area is very good, with lots of things to do around. The beaches are extremely clean with clear waters and golden sand. Very popular beaches next to the hotel that are not noisy and only 2-3min walk.

If I had to pick some down sides, some areas were lacking four star quality that could be rectified with a refreshment of paint and maintenance. Second there was no system for getting a pool side seat, with people coming at the opening time of 10am and finding that all seats had been taken with peoples towels left of them (same a most hotels). However, the pool location by the sea is fantastic and has the sun all day long with a good view.

Had a lovely stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel Mallorca. The staff were super helpful and the food was great with lots of variety for breakfast and dinner.

The rooms were really spacious and super clean. I also loved how close you were to the beach and lovely bars nearby.

My only issue was the other guests reserving sun beds with towels. We ended up going to the beach because we couldn't get a sun lounger by the pool because everyone had reserved them and gone to breakfast or town for the morning. This wasn't policed by the hotel even though it was a policy

Awful. This hotel is terrible. Tired, dirty and not like the photos at all. We travelled with a 2 year old and the air con in the room didn’t work and the room was 29 degrees at night. Moved rooms and it was the same. Other guests also complaining. Restaurant staff were lovely. Front desk staff weren’t. They were rude and dismissive. We left early and found different accommodation as it was so horrendous. Also got items stolen here.
Communication is terrible. Have emailed the hotel 3 times with no response. Hotels.com also emailed with no response
Don’t waste your money here-there are lots more options that are better.

Our holiday was great. The sea view room was fantastic. A very swimmable beach is right at the doorstep. The meals were super tasty and the staff was extremely friendly. The staff took complaints about unruly guests serious and addressed it quickly and without much fuss or noise. I would always recommend the hotel to people who rather have a nice holiday in Palmanova than party time in Magaluf.

- Cama muy pequeñas.
- En cuanto al todo incluido: es un solo restaurante cuya comida, falta mejorar la calidad, repetitiva y de calidad regular; en cuanto al servicio, no es todo incluido del continente americano o asiático, ya que uno mismo tiene que servirse su agua, los saloneros únicamente están para recoger los platos, más no para servirte. Adicional, en cuanto a las bebidas, son muy radicales, solo puedes escoger las que están en el menú y si le pides que te añadan algo adicional (limón o hierbabuena), no lo hacen!

En conclusión, es un hotel común y corriente que te ofrece comida, más no cumple con el concepto de todo incluido, ya que no están para ser serviciales, ni atender al huésped.

Fell short of expectations

Most of the hotel was fine and we had an ok stay. The view and location were great, the food was great as well. My daughter has Celiacs and was accomodated with care. On arrival I was informed our booked room type was actually unavailable, and was put in a \"better room\". That was all fine except for one major issue - our \"upgraded\" room had many maintenance issues. The phone was completely broken and no one came to replace it despite us asking several times. The shower did NOT function for the duration of our stay - the drain was blocked and the shower water flooded the bathroom within a few minutes. We notified staff immediately and they sent maintenance to \"address\" the issue 4 different times in 3 days. The maintenance man's idea of a \"fix\" was plunging the drain and it did absolutely nothing. To add to the issues with water, we had water dripping from our ceiling a few times, and other places in the hotel had water and drywall falling from the ceiling due to water damage. The one time i had to use the shower i had to turn it off repeatedly and even then we ended up with water in all corners of our hotel room. Management refused to address complaints. If you want working plumbing or you're sensitive to mold, seek other accommodation.

We stayed for 5 nights and the wifi was horrible and not really usable and we were working and the hotel staff was not helpful in finding a resolution to our Wifi problems. The AC also was not initially working and we had to go down to the lobby and ask someone to come fix it. Other than that though, beautiful property, great location and great stay otherwise.

Renovated room was unfinished, bathroom door hanging off unable to shut it, plaster falling off around the mirror, side skirts loose, plaster on the unfinished floor. Gym closed for renovation not stated when booked.

Reported all of the above and they fixed the bathroom door on our second to last day of a 4 day long weekend not good enough, the room was not what we expected. View was only positive for the room.

Food was really good, Kitchen and Bar staff were really nice too.

Area was quiet with a nice beach.

Hotel was really nice and the staff were super friendly, the beach side pool was unbelievable, but there was a lot of construction work going on during our stay which was noisy for the entire time. We were also put across the street in the suites hotel even though I didn't explicitly book it. I also think they should be more upfront about the all inclusive not including alcoholic drinks it's buried in the terms and conditions and even then it isn't clear until you get to the hotel.

The hotel has a fantastic view of the mountain and the sea, a stunning pool, and a wide range of amenities. It's an excellent all-inclusive option, conveniently located near various attractions.

Not very well, but not very bad.

Was everything good. Reception people is nice, but when speaking with you if coming someone from staff they leave you and speak with them... :) but is normal they are Spanish people :) i don't know but for 4* stars little bit not enough clean and elevators are scary :) lack of entertainment for children...

All inclusive isn’t really all inclusive you have to pay for alcoholic drinks, paid for a triple room was given a double with bad views, our room also flooded when it rained and when people would use the toilet in the room above we could hear it, our toilet also smelt like fish/sewage quite often. Staff was lovely , overall hotel looked nice and lobby and bars had nice views. Pool got busy quick so only got to sit by it one day unfortunately

I booked for a last minute short holiday, staying in the hotel side (ie not suites). Firstly, my favourites on my stay were that the staff were lovely, and the view from my room (6th floor double room) was incredible. I would stay here again but only if I found a cheaper deal. My stay was ok but I felt a bit ripped off for what I got. Improvements needed:
- more lifts (hotel staff use the lifts a lot so only 1 to get to top floors), and only fit 4 people at most
- rooms are good size but tired, things broken, squashed flies on ceiling, cracks in ceiling
- walls in room very thin, need sound proofing
- bathroom needs an extraction fan, and a proper door so air doesn't seep into the bedroom. grouting in shower needs replacing.
- I had ants on my bathroom floor. No hand soap (used free shower gel)
- it just didn't feel that luxurious but if you're at the pool all day I can get over it
- food was good for the price of all inclusive, loved the fish
- people need free continuous access to water, it's too restricted in the hotel (tap water legally drinkable but always makes me sick). In the summer months water should be readily available at least
- staff remove plates in restaurants too quickly, I was on my own so if I went up to get a drink my food would disappear
- no room service

Hotel is in a good location at the end of the beach, and only 30mins from airport. Check out at noon was appreciated if you have a late flight.

Great hotel, loved lounging by the pool yet overlooking the sea and yachts. Great choice of food. My only negative was that there could of been more staff behind the bar, both by the pool and inside in the evenings. Long ques and wait at times just for a drink.
Would definitely come again and recommend.

Excellent location, some minor improvements needed

This hotel is exceptionslly well located - about 30min from the airport, right at the se front, in a quiet enough area but very close to very many bars and restaurants.

Staff are all absolutely lovely and very helpful.

The swimming pool and the swimming deck are excellent, with stairs to go swimming in the sea from the deck, an amazing infinity and children's pool with a life guard on duty. Very importantly, there are plenty of sun loungers and parasols for everyone.

The pool bar could run a little better and the quality and selection of food can be improved but it wasn't bad.

Our room was clean and perfectly functional, albeit a little bit tired. A good painter & decorator could bring it up to really good standard in a day.

We went to hotel restaurant for breakfast one morning. There was a wide selection of foods but €52 for two adults and a child was extremely expensive for a hotel standard buffet. For comparison, it is possible to have much better breakfast at any of the nearby restaurants for around €35.

All in all, we would go back to this hotel and have enjoyed our stay there. The room was very good value for money.

Ok base for beach break and Magaluf partying

Hotel is actually in Magaluf not Palmanova. The local taxi drivers all corrected me on this. The Magaluf strip starts a stones throw from outside the entrance to the hotel.

Overall the hotel was ok, I want to be fair as I usually stay at Nixe Palace in Cala Mayor and you cannot compare these hotels as Nixe palace is wonderful.

Ok so I will start with the positives-
The view from this hotel is fantastic.
The food choices are good and plentiful
The restaurant staff and maids are brilliant
The beds are comfortable

Negatives
Some floors smelt stagnant and damp.

Got in the lift to find someone had enjoyed a night out and been sick all inside the lift.

I asked about the possibility of late checkout when checking in and was told it was on a first come basis.
In the morning I got up and went down stars in departure day at 7am and was told, you need to come back at 9am for the shift change, went back at 9am and was told you need to come back at 10am (each time they were taking my room number) went back at 10am and was told to come back at 11am, went back at 11am to be told by the receptionist who didn’t even ask my room number- that the hotel was fully booked and had been and there would be no chance of a late checkout. I was then told I could use the shower room, at the end of the day when I asked to use the shower room was told we don’t have a shower room, but was advised to use their sister hotel over the road, I couldn’t shower as no towels are provided.

Excellent hotel overlooking beach. Prime location. Sea view rooms are a must. Rooms are above normal size. Flatscreen tv has about 16 uk channels including BBC ITV etc

Too good to stay only for one night!

Amazing experience! The bottle of sparkling wine left for us was the cherry on top!
Some downsides were the lack of car parking at the hotel entrance and some noise overnight from other rooms.
However, the viewing and confort from a deluxe room compensated all of that.
Truly recommend this hotel! 5*
