The hotel and the staff are terrific. This boutique hotel has good dining, nice infinity pool with a bar, great location and beautiful rooms.
I extended our stay for this trip and can not wait to come back later this year.

A rare jewel. A design team that executed to perfection. The drive to ultra luxury in all elements of the hotel experience completely successful. A bed and sheets that surpass Four Seasons with a room that is darkened perfectly for the ultimate sleep. Quiet with little touches like expensive super quiet elevators and ultra heavy finished doors and windows a serious positive. Perfect breakfast great service. 10/10.

Expensive for what it is. Very small property. Breakfast limited. Couldn’t get sun loungers one day as too busy. Couldn’t use half board on lunch (only hotel I have ever come across that won’t let you do that). Gym tiny. AC didn’t work in there one day so was unbearable.

Very clean though. Rooms nice. Lunch was good, bar area nice.

Plainly put: this hotel is swank and in a very cool neighborhood... especially if you're trying to find an area more relaxed than Palma. The staff is all helpful and friendly, the pool and vistas are fantastic and the drinks and food are great. Our room was nice but there was just one thing that drove my wife and I nuts: at least in our room, the blinds/curtains don't close all of the way (the track on each side of the window goes from the edge of the room/window to about halfway to the middle. What all this means is that you're waking up at 7am every morning whether you like it or not.

That aside, again, the service and property are stunning and I would absolutely go back and recommend to people.

Excellent boutique hotel in a quiet area but only a very short walk to the towncentre.
The client definitely comes first as the service is supetb without being intrusive.
We stayed for 3 nights then moved to another more experienced hotel for three more nights.

I am very glad I chose Portals Hills Boutique Hotel for my vacation. I can't describe my satisfaction with everything I experienced during my stay.
Staff and customer service is superior. Restaurant food and bar beverages were amazing. I can say my experience was unique and I would definitely chose this hotel every time I visit Mallorca again.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly but huge and special thanks to Laura, Reto and Dominic for their welcoming and dedicated service.

If you like boutique hotels this is fab

Great hotel very modern and stylish. Expensive however I did read this in the reviews before I booked. There is no nightclub so ignore this on their website. Lacking in atmosphere in the bar area so don’t choose this hotel for any evening music or ambience. Pool area is really nice, it wasn’t too busy but I would imagine when it’s busy the pool is too small. We ate lunch there twice and really enjoyed it but as previous reviews have stated it’s expensive. The bedroom was very spacious and staff are really helpful and friendly. I would go again but perhaps out of season. Short walk to some lovely restaurants and the port which is around 15 mins away.

Fantastic hotel. Staff round the pool and in the restaurant were fab. Perfect place for couples to relax. We had an issue with our air conditioning which resulted in us having to change rooms. We asked to see the manager 3 times and this never happened despite her being on site which I feel is poor on the management side, especially in such a small hotel. All other staff staff couldn’t do enough. I would still recommend and return as this is a hidden gem!

Amazing Hotel

My husband and I have just returned from our second visit to this stunning hotel. It is the ultimate in luxury and relaxation and you are treated like royalty. Breakfast is on the beautiful open air verandah overlooking the Med with everything you could possibly want and attentive, gracious service. There is a fabulous pool area with an infinity pool, luxurious furniture and cabanas with pool butlers attending to your needs. I very much hope I will be fortunate enough to be able to return here in the not too distant future.

Wonderful hotel 5 minutes walk from Portals centre

Everyone now and again, you can stumble on a little gem of a place. Portals Hill is just such a gem.

The service was ultra-professional at all times. The rooms were spotless. It was very comfortable. The music outside provided a delightfully chilled vibe and the views out to sea from our room were a joy to behold.

I found myself trying to find fault with something ... anything ... just to provide something to say in the review, but in the end I gave up: it's just too good.

So I'll just finish with \"Stay here: you'll love it.\"

Fabulous Boutique Hotel

Had very high expectations in arriving as had read a lot of positive reviews. Wasn’t disappointed as from the moment we arrived everything lived up to our expectations from the location, the room, the pool area and the food. However the best feature of the hotel by far was the staff who were just so friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel , situated up in the hills but not a problem to get out and about either walking or taxi s very prompt , bout 5 euro down to the Harbourne , supermarket and bars and restaurants nearby only 5 mins walk , hotel itself is lovely , very modern clean and comfortable , we didn't find the music a problem round the pool , service is really good , although I thought the drinks and food by the pool quite expensive , we loved this place and would go back just pricey !!

Highly recommend it for couples or friends

We had a very nice stay in Portal Hills.
The hotel is new and clean, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
The location is great, everything is pretty accessible (although i still recommend renting a car to visit Mallorca)
The pool is quite small, but as expected as it is a boutique hotel.
The hotel staff is very nice (valet, cleaning ladies, restaurant and reception staff).
Our only disappointment was at the check out, the lady (Andrea) was a bit rude when we asked for 20 extra minutes to check out, atlhough when we arrived for check in our room wasn't ready yet and we didn't complain.

This is a fantastic boutique resort. The staff is top notch - friendly and very competent. The pool area is lovely. And since it is on a hill the views of the sea are spectacular. I would definitely go back! The penthouse is a knockout with two floors!!

Only disappointment was our room did not have a King Size bed it was 2 singles together but not even zip and linked- apparently our room 207 and 103 are the only two like this!!

Relaxing Weekend Away

We only stayed for a long weekend, but we left completely revived. Perfect size of hotel-not too big/busy with a laid back vibe. Beautiful pool area and sea views from all angles of the hotel. Lovely open balconys especially on the forth floor. A spotless bathroom with fresh towels and toiletries for guests leaving to the airport after checking out is very well thought out, and allows you to make the most of your last day

Lovely boutique hotel with nice pool area

We stayed 4 nights in the Key West Suite which is located at the far end of the hotel on the pool level. Was lovely as had own reserved sun beds and an outdoor area to sit. Was a 15 minute walk down to a lovely Marina with plenty of restaurants. Not cheap. Steep walk back up but plenty of taxis if needed.

A strange place to review...

Some staff were fantastic and so pleasant and yet others stand offish and almost disinterested, breakfast a disaster, never got an order right for the duration of our stay and closed at 10.30 and I mean 10.30, 10.31 and they've packed it away sometimes your advised...room lovely with great view. Location a lot better than you initially think but if your not a hill climber this isn't for you.
