The overall Aspect of the Hotel is good ! Food is good, Staff always friendly and Helpful !

But,…. The Superior Room in the Annex Building is in DIRE need of Renovation - specifically the Bathrom ! Mirror reflection lining came of (and looked like a rugged frame at first, the grouting of the floor tiles , mouldy silicon seals——
So please dear Hotel Team - get going!

We were really disappointed with our stay here. From the start, no one offered to help us with our bags, even though we were two girls struggling with a lot of luggage. We had to maneuver the cart down a ramp ourselves. To make things worse, we were given the wrong directions to our room, which resulted in us unloading everything off the cart and carrying it down a full flight of stairs since the cart didn’t fit in the elevator.

On top of that, we had paid for parking but were met with attitude from staff when they didn’t actually have a spot available for us. The room itself just okay, the mini fridge wasn’t stocked, the shower had no door and sprayed so aggressively that water went all over the bathroom, and there were clear signs of mold. Room service was equally disappointing, with food that simply wasn’t good. The location is nice but the hotel is dated

Overall, this stay was frustrating from start to finish and definitely not worth the price. We wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Por dónde empezar? Desde que llegamos nos sentimos muy bienvenidas. En nuestro primer día, conocimos a David, Miguel, Anthony, Moha, y los dos Carlos. Instantáneamente nos hicieron sentir como si fuéramos amigos de siempre. Todos fueron muy atentos y cariñosos. El hotel está hermoso pero lo que hace a ROC Illetas espectacular son los empleados. Con decir que hasta lloramos al despedirnos de todos nuestros nuevos amigos. No cabe duda que pronto regresaremos.

We had some trouble with the friendliness of the staff - some at the desk were very friendly and others were not at all but we were always able to get the help we needed in the end with just a little bit of stress. Would still stay again!

Beautiful hotel in Mallorca. The staff was friendly and the views were stunning. The spa services were great. The small downsides of the hotel include; the pools were cold and there are limited chairs around the pool, the ocean was quite rough where you can access it from hotel and we had little ants in our room. Other than that we loved our stay. The hotel is in a great location with mini markets/restaurants nearby and a 2€ bus ride into downtown Palma.

The biggest redeeming quality of this hotel is the outdoor facilities and the swimming cove. The beds in the main building were comfortable and the room was pretty clean but I’ve never stayed in a louder hotel in my life. You can hear all of your neighbor’s conversations and it sounded like people above us were moving furniture every night. Fire alarm went off at 2am as well. AC in room was decent. Went through 6 key cards in 3 days due to them not working as well. (We are aware they can’t be near phones or magnets.) Breakfast was great. The $35 dinner buffet was okay but not great. Overall was okay for a first trip to Mallorca, but would stay at a neighboring hotel next time.

The hotel has nice view to the sea with access to the beach. They should provide free water bottles. There are only two or three restaurants near by and a small mini market. Most of the furnitures inside the hotel area are old. Parking spots are very small so if you have regular size car it is difficult to park. Pillows are very uncomfortable.

Fabulous, safe spot. Lovely little coves and beaches, plus mini-markets, restaurants etc.
Staff seemed dissatisfied, bar reception. Breakfast staff absolutely appalling to the point of shouting at guests for removing dirty plates that should have been cleared to sit down. Food was chaotic and cooked often cold, but all else, great. Suspect there is an under-staffing issue there

Stayed here for a few nights in between European cities, which was nice to sit and enjoy the beach. Bus was super convenient into Palma, right outside the hotel. Breakfast buffet had decent selection and was nice to not have to go offsite for this meal.

Pool area was nice and family friendly. Although they say reserving chairs is prohibited, people had their towels out bright and early reserving chairs. It is nearly impossible to get chairs by the pool/beach so be prepared.

Service was very slow at the restaurants onsite, and staff at the pool bar wasn't very inviting. Rooms definitely need to be updated but did the job.

My family recently stayed at this property in a 2 bedroom Oceanfront suite. The view was beautiful and the pool and sea were beautiful. That is where the positives end.

Our first night I called and complained that we did not have hot water. I was told that we should have hot water. On our 3rd night at around 4:45 am we heard a pop and discovered our hot water heater had broken and was spilling all over the room. My husband went up to the front desk and got the man working. He gave us towels, but we had to get trashcans and get rid of the water for hours. It took many calls and trips to the front desk before a maintenance person was available to help. We had to cancel our travel plans that day to tend to the emergency. We were offered to move rooms, but the room was a smaller room which would not have been big enough for our family. Luckily the hot water heater was replaced and we did not have to relocate. The hotel assured us that we would be given compensation, but since we booked through Expedia none was given. They offered a cabana, which we couldn't use for most of the day as we were tending to the water in the room. We were given one day free parking. Note there is very limited parking at this property and it is 20 euros a day for the few spots they have. We paid a ton of money to stay at this property. While this was an isolated incident, it was not handled well. The property lied about a refund for the trouble that was given.

This hotel itself is beautiful. The ocean is beautiful and nice to swim in. The staff was friendly, however, it seemed as though they were understaffed. When we arrived no one helped us with our bags, which we were expecting for the price that we paid, that the staff would be a little more helpful. They didn't really explain the hotel or show us around either, which we hoped they would at least direct us to our room.

This hotel is exactly what appears online which is refreshing. We were in awe when we first walked out and it took us a moment to simply take in the beauty. The hotel was a bit tricky to get used to due to the many floors but once I figured it out, it was easy to navigate. A tip would be to make notes so you can recall that the 4th floor is the lobby, and the 3rd floor is the restaurant / bar, etc. I wish more of the bars stayed open later. You can always find a drink but after 5 or 6 pm, you’ll have to make the walk to get a drink each round. That was a bit annoying but I was willing to deal with it for all that we got.

Visited the property for a trip with some friends. The location is ideal with a lovely beach not far away and beachbar not too far away either. Palma is an easy visit on the bus and very cheap to do too.
The welcome was lovely, we had a wonderful greeting and the entrance is very modern. The rest of the hotel is a bit of a maze. I had a partial view of the sea and my room was quite dated. The shower screen leaked all over the bathroom floor too. It was a comfortable sleep however, the doors are thin so as soon as people started banging from 7am you are woken up.
My friend had an issue with her room key, 6 times she had to go to reception and most times she was told it was her fault because it was near her phone - it was not. She didn't get an apology, just a shrug.
We also tried to eat at the a la carte one night but left after 20 minutes when noone even offered us a drink. We then went to the buffet and the sea food was lovely.
The food overall was ok, service left a lot to be desired and in parts it is dated and dusty. The gym air con wasn't working.
One member of staff deserves a shout out. Dani was fabulous.
It was a good trip and nothing about the hotel really spoilt it but it's not somewhere I would look to visit again. it is comfortable and lovely location just needs some refining.

Cockroaches should give you the explanation. I woke up to this very early and just checked out. I spoke to the front desk attendant. He didn’t care. I also sent an email. No response. So that’s that. Although the staff were absolutely amazing, it was frustrating that our room was constantly filled with ants. We asked the staff several times to address the issue, and while they cleaned up the room and were sincerely apologetic, the fact that they address the problem or move us to a room without ants is why I give a 2 star review. Will never stay here again. Also, while the problem was addressed, our hot water did not work our first night. It was upsetting not being able to shower after an 18 hour flight.

I wish I had planned a longer stay at the Hotel Roc Illetas. The property was fantastic, with great beaches within a short walk. I can't comment enough on the staff; they were truly awesome from the moment we walked in. Santiago spent 15 minutes with us at check-in explaining the area, the beaches, and most importantly, the bus route that takes you into town from the hotel. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet and love that the hotel bar stays open until midnight. We will be back and we'll be bringing friends!!

Wonderful Easter holiday

We are just home from a wonderful week in Mallorca. We have three daughters aged 10,10 and 12 this hotel was just perfect for them. Small enough to allow them some independence but large enough to have everything we needed. The outdoor pool isn’t heated so it was fresh in April- but so much fun to jump in. The indoor pool is heated well and was popular with my kids jumping from one to the next. We had a sea view suite and it was just incredible to wake up and have a coffee on the balcony every morning. The cleaners were impeccable. Our room was spotless and we received new towels, coffee pods and milk daily. We had a few day trips and the hotel staff were always so helpful and friendly. Very organised always knowing our names. We got the bus into Palma for just €2 each and were able to use Ubers to get around too.
The hotel breakfast buffet was a good standard and when we ate in the restaurants we were also happy with everything. The beach at Illetas was one of the most beautiful with the bright turquoise water. Climbing down the steps for a sea swim from the hotel we saw tropical fish and it is really a very beautiful spot.

Disappointing Stay at Hotel ROC Illetas & SPA

My recent stay at Hotel ROC Illetas & SPA was highly disappointing. The rooms were poorly maintained, with a broken closet door and noticeable uncleanliness, including snot on the wall that remained after four days despite complaints. The lack of air conditioning made the room unbearably hot, and the staff dismissed my concerns, stating it was \"out of season\" on April 19th and suggesting I open the sliding door, which let in street noise and didn’t help, it was still too hot to sleep. The indoor pool closed early at 8:30 PM, limiting activities for kids. The internet was down for an entire day, and the front desk staff were rude, unhelpful, and indifferent to my issues. Overall, I expected much better from this hotel and would not recommend it.

I stayed at Hotel ROC for 6 days with my family, and we had a fantastic experience. We initially booked a room for three people, and although the first room felt a bit small, the staff was very helpful and responsive when we brought it up. The next day, they moved us to a more spacious and comfortable room, which made our stay even better.

They really cared about making sure we were happy—even offering us free snacks as a kind gesture for the inconvenience. The hotel is in a beautiful area, with a nice pool and easy access to gorgeous beaches. One of the things we appreciated most was how convenient it was to get around using public transportation—we didn’t need to rent a car at all, which made things easier and more relaxing.

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and family-friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back!

The hotel gets a 2* overall. I will mention the good and bad.

Good: There is lots of variety for breakfast and dinner. There is a number 4 bus stop outside the hotel. There is a few stops within walking distance. The sea view is nice.

Bad: The building is old and needs upgrading, the shop near by is far from main centre so charge double or more for most products, this hotel is a good 5-7 miles away from the Palma centre so youll have to travel in daily. The big taxi dont come to this hotel due to being too far, you may need to hire two smaller taxi for a family of 5 or take the bus. The steam room or Sauna is often randomly switched off to save electricity making you to wait for it to be warmed up again. The outdoor pool isnt heated so the water is too cold for temperature under 25°c. The indoor pool is too small and maximum you can have is around 7 people swimming. The spa prices are too expensive you can find cheaper in Palma town. The whole apartment needs a deep mop as it seems it hasnt been moped for years. You are not allowed to bring your own water for dinner, your pressurised to buy their drinks and water at high prices. If you dont buy the drinks they take the empty glass away from your table and dont give you good customer service. They treat you like a second class customer even though we paid £1200 for 5 nights. The pillow is a cylinder shaped pillow. Its very uncomfortable and gives you neck pain. We slept without the pillow.

Pancake was nit nice, its nit english pancake. Butter was horrible.

Hotel in general : amazing view if you buy the oceanfront view.

At night there was lits of banging noise reall loud. They couldn't fix it or know the source . It kept us up all night.

Not far to katmandu resorts and park. 20min drive.

Not booking again. Kids didnt enjoy environment.

Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff and the food options and quality for the buffet half-board were excellent (some things, such as eggs at breakfast and grilled meats and fish cooked fresh at your request). We also ate in the bar one lunchtime, which was equally as good. I found the hotel to be spotlessly clean. The ocean-front room have fantastic views. The hotel is on the hillside and has split accommodation and some people may find the fixtures in the Classic Building a little dated, but if you book a sea view room, it more than makes up for it (best to do your research before booking the right room for you and your budget). There’s a bus stop outside to head into Palma (though coming back, is a couple of stops earlier, due to the one-way, so a 5 minute flat walk back) and there’s a small supermarket close by. I had an excellent stay here and would definitely book again.

Spa services were enjoyable. Palma attractions could be reached by bus #4 that stopped in front of hotel.

I was really looking forward to staying at Hotel ROC Illetas & SPA, but my experience was beyond disappointing.

From the start, there were major issues. Upon arrival, we were told there was nowhere to park, forcing us to park far down the street with no assistance for our luggage. Check-in was awkward and unwelcoming, setting the tone for what was to come.

When we entered our room, it was extremely hot—the air conditioning wasn’t working. Worse, there was mold growing in the bathroom, stained furniture, and an overall strong musty odor that made the room feel completely unclean and unlivable. The furniture was so dirty and stained that I didn’t even want to sit on it. At that moment, we knew there was no way we could stay in this hotel.

Feeling completely misled by both the hotel and Expedia/Hotels.com, we immediately left and had to book another hotel last-minute—costing us an additional $3,000. When we requested a refund for our five-night stay ($2,784.10), the hotel flat-out refused, despite the fact that we spent less than 10 minutes in the room.

I even submitted photo evidence showing that the room was completely uninhabitable, yet they are still refusing to make this right. I rarely write negative reviews, but the way this hotel gaslit us and refused to take accountability is beyond frustrating. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

We picked this hotel as it sells itself as a relaxing spa hotel by the sea. Instead it is a party hotel with live music every night until past 11:30pm. The rooms have terrible soundproofing so you are kept up until it stops. The sound proofing in between rooms is also terrible. Facilities are much more tired than they look in the photos. Great location but felt total mislead in how the hotel sells itself. No solution offered. Would never stay there again nor recommend it.

Great hotel, crappy parking situation

The property is amazing. The rooms could use some updating but overall very clean. The food from the buffet was what you would expect from a buffet. The restaurant workers were so amazing. The parking situation really needs to be better explained upon booking. I arrived at 5pm after a 12 hr travel day only for their parking to be full and I had to find street parking. Then I had to wake up at 9am to move or repay for parking since there still was nothing free at the hotel every 3 hrs. My first night and AM revolved around parking which was unexpected and so annoying. I just wanted to relax :(

Right next to the bus stop, very convenient! Very nice staff and wonderful people. The area is so beautiful and it’s only a 10 minute walk to some beautiful beaches and a 25 minute bus ride to the city of Palma. Way less crowded and touristy than the main city, would definitely stay again!

The perfect place for your next couples getaway. Would dream of coming back - the food was amazing so many options, the private cove was breathtaking and easily our favourite part of our Mallorca trip. Staff was lovely and room with a view was well worth it.

Had a lovely stay with friends. Hotel is about 25min cab from Palma airport. Within walking distance of the hotel there is a small convenience shop, a beach club (Puro) and a lovely little beach with a nice, and popular, restaurant. Rooms are simple and functional. Air conditioning isn’t great. Showers are nice with strong water pressure. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. There was evening entertainment but we didn’t stay for it.

This property has a very good location, amazing views, and the rooms are pretty nice. This would be a pretty good hotel to almost every kind of leisure traveler. The morning buffet breakfast had many options, was kept tidy, and the outside table views were beautiful. The reception was warm and welcoming and were what you would expect for a four star hotel. The room while big, did show some signs of use which is normal, but these are the details that separate it from a five star hotel. My only con would be the parking situation can be pretty tricky, especially if you are renting a car and aren't familiar with the dimensions.

Be sure to ask for room in new wing.

When we checked in we were placed in the old wing, the room was dark, small and felt old. We asked to move to another room but they couldnt accomodate us until the following day. Room we were moved to the next day in the new wing was much better but still had issues.

The service was very hit or miss. We arrived late and they bent over backwards to get my family food. But, they didn’t book my early airport shuttle or replace the soap in my shower that they removed even after I requested replenishment soap.
The rooms are in desperate need of an update and do not look like they do online. For what they charge, they should have nicer facilities.
The breakfast was good but only buffet options for lunch and dinner.
It is clear that they are trying and the staff were very friendly. I am hoping they sort things out because the property has a lot of potential which is why my overall rating was 4 star.

Very clean, the room was nice and the sea view was great , we only stayed for about three days, food was good as well and staff very friendly and helpful. There is a small beach area where we been staying and it’s just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Had a 10/10 stay at this hotel! Staff were excellent, facilities and hotel grounds are AMAZING, and the hotel room was superb. Our stay was topped off with live entertainment each night (flamenco dancers, singers, musicians etc), great buffet breakfast, free spa facility included in stay, and great views. If you want a relaxing stay this is it!! The only thing to note is that you can hear noise from other guests closing/opening doors but was not an issue past 10:30/11pm. Not sure why this hotel isn’t a 5 star hotel!

The view from our balcony on floor 6 overlooking the sea was beautiful. The quality and choice of food at the breakfast and evening buffets were delicious.The spa and indoor pool was great when weather was cloudy. The staff were very attentive and welcoming.
Number 4 bus from outside the hotel takes you to Palma which was busy. Not a lot to do in the local vicinity though. Unfortunately I had my purse pickpocketed out of my bag on the packed bus on way home.
On the whole a very relax full week and would recommend this hotel.

Amazing views

We had a lovely 4 day stay and even got a room upgrade at check-in which really made the whole experience that much greater. Gorgeous views of the beach/sea. There is also a bus right outside the hotel that can bring you to Palma town which is great.
