This hotel is located a 10-minute drive from the centre of La Rochelle, close to the Ile de Ré Bridge and the sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast. Bordeaux is only 90 minutes' drive away.

Established in 2007, this apartment hotel provides all the services guests would expect from a new hotel-residence with a modern sense of style. It comprises 117 apartments and 12 studios.

This is a budget environment place. We stayed for one brief night but were not impressed by the place. For ex. we had to make our own beds, and a bed sheet was torn/ripped, and we needed to clean up after ourselves to avoid a cleaning charge, which I didn't like on a vacation. Nice orchards around the area

Great comfort place full of amenities. Children had a great time in the swimming pool. Nice outdoor place to chill out. Will definitely come again x

It's not really a hotel

This place is not really a hotel. It's more like a bungalow renting site. Expedia says that reception is closed between 12pm to 3pm, however when you call them they say until 4pm.

You need to pre-book breakfast, dinner even snacks on the day before! You certainly need to shop in a supermarket before you stay there, if you are staying for a few days.

Food is very average for French standards (I am not French, but I travel to France every month for work).

The mattresses on the beds were awful. Not talking about too soft, or too hard. Just didn't feel like they were proper bed mattresses. Felt like some kind of foamy material, probably overused.

The reception staff couldn't care less and were not friendly at all. First day we arrived within the closing time and they sat in reception ignoring us outside with the doors locked (they could see me waving at them...). I had to beg for them to begrudgingly open the door for my little boy who was desperate to use the toilet. After that they locked the door behind us and opened it again at 4:10pm to basically give us our keys, which took 10 minutes. No courtesy, no personal touch.

The rooms were clean, the pool was nice. That's just about it.

Average hotel

Overall decent place. We really were looking for an inexpensive overnight stop on our road trip to the south of France. We got in around 6pm and the hotel did not have our reservation, booked and paid through hotels.com the night before. With my bad French and the receptionist's English and my booking confirmation printout we worked it out. It took a few minutes but she got us a room and then asked me to pay and I convinced her that we'd paid already. Wifi in the lobby was broken. No wifi in the room. The site says wifi in public areas but then where you book on hotels.com and pick your room type, hotels.com shows the wifi icon and when you hi we over it, it says wifi in room. That is not true, I was hoping it was but expected with the hotel description that it was not.

Room is a little apartment disconnected from the lobby portion of the hotel. There was an indoor pool near the lobby but didn't walk to use it later in the wintertime. Apartnent was nice and clean but very white walls and sanitary with not much to them. There was a pullout sofa which we'd expected for the kids. It seemed ok. It took a bit to figure out how to pull out the bed. We thought it was broken at first. We then had to hunt around for the sheets which were in the closet by the bed. Kids seemed comfortable enough on the pullout.
Master bedroom was also plain and white but the bed was firm but comfortable. We didn't use the kitchenette. There is also a patio for use with nice weather. Our trip was for New Years so we didn't really use it but it looked nice. So overall it was a decent inexpensive stop for us. The breakfast seemed overpriced so we didn't do it. We packed some things ahead of time and continued on the road in the morning.

Grosse déception pour la famille !

A l'arrivée, on nous annonce qu'il n'y a plus de draps doubles. Ok on se débrouille. On arrive dans le logement, climatisation en panne en pleine canicule avec un petit de 20 mois. Le canapé lit est arrivé au bout de sa vie, nuits compliquées. La vaisselle pour 4 très insuffisante. La bonde de la douche démontée. Et enfin la piscine. Je demande pour les jets d'eau pour les enfants je cite \"elle est réparée mais nous n'avons pas la pièce\" moi:\"donc elle est en panne\" l'accueil :\"non, non, elle est réparée, on attend la pièce etc le covid l'Ukraine...\" Je n'ai pas la même notion du mot \"réparé\". Un personnel délétère qui ne fait rien, sauf aller fumer . Points positifs : le calme et les très bonnes pizzas du snack. Je déconseille et je n'y retournerai pas.

Le bloc de maisons est bien pensé, terrasse personnelle, calme, entrée du complexe sécurisée par code. Le studio aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement (lavabo a du mal à s’écouler dans la salle de bains, joints de carrelage très fatigués dans la salle de bains, rideau qui tient mal dans la grande pièce) Le chauffage fonctionne bien avec la Clim réversible.

Pas pour les très courts séjours

Je conseille Vacancéole - Résidence le Domaine du Lac pour des séjours moyen à long (possibilité de se faire à manger dans la kitchenette, terrasse agréable, piscine etc). Je ne conseille pas pour de très court séjours (1 ou 2 nuits) du type \"hotel\" car il n'y a pas la prestation d'un hotel : nous n'avons pu prendre une douche car il n'y avait que 2 échantillons de gel douche pour une réservation pour 4! Il faut faire et démonter les lits. etc

Schreckliche Erfahrung

Wir hatten eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung in dieser Anlage.
Mitarbeiter sind überfordert, da sie zu zweit die ganze Anlage bewirten müssen. Wir fanden einen schrecklichen Zustand vor mit Spinnennetze und Spinnen im ganzen Haus. Verstaubte Tische als hätte niemand seit 1 Jahr geputzt, Terrasse und Eingangsbereich voller Dreck und Blätter, 3 verschidene Stühle für ein Appartment für 6 Pers.,etc.
Wir sind sofort wieder abgereist und warten nun seit 1 Monat immer noch auf unsere Rückerstattung für diesen unakzeptablen Zustand. Wir haben auch Hotels.com um Hilfe gebeten und warten noch was passiert. Auf jeden Fall entspricht die Anlage an sich den Fotos, die Appartments allerdings bei weitem nicht.

Un sentiment mitigé

Le village est agréable et bien conçu. La localisation est bonne, au calme et proche de plusieurs points d’intérêt. Le stationnement est aisé. Dommage que la propreté du logement à notre arrivée ne soit pas à la hauteur. Surtout en période de désinfection en principe systématique entre deux clients. Le mobilier est assez vétuste. J’avais connu le village il y a quelques années, il m’avait laissé un bien meilleur souvenir.

Très belle résidence de vacances mais quel dommage ce manque d'entretien et de propreté dans les appartements ! Toiles d'araignées, brosse wc laissant plus que désirer. Paroi de douche manquante (de l'eau partout), joints sales et plafond douche qui cloque et s'apprête à tomber ! Nous avons transmis ces commentaires à la réception mais vus les avis sur d'autres sites, nous ne sommes pas les premiers et cela semble durer dans le temps....Sinon très bon séjour : spacieux et fonctionnel(bien équipé au niveau cuisine), climatisation et matelas au top. De belles terrasses et espaces verts. Pas de vis à vis.

Séjour agréable malgré la fermeture de la piscine. Cet endroit permet de profiter de la douceur du climat grâce à une terrasse privative . Un rafraîchissement de l’intérieur de l’appartement serait souhaitable car le mobilier ainsi que les peintures sont assez fatigués.

Vormieter hatte ein Hund, überall Hunde Haare im Zimmer. Nach Reklamation kam der Herr der Reception mit dem Staubsauger und einen Duftspray! Ok, nach 10min roch es wieder nach Hund!
WC war nicht sauber, roch nach Urin, auch der Apfall vom Vormieter war noch da.
War schon 19:00 uhr und ich hatte keine Lust mehr mit Frau und Baby noch ein Hotel zu suchen nach 500km Fahrt.
Schade, Pool und der kleine Imbiss wahren super und haben den Aufentahlt Tags durch angenehm gemacht.
Auch schade dass mir zwei mal der Betrag von der Kredit Karte abgebucht wurde. Mal schauen wie ich dass Geld zurück bekomme.

Bien dans l’ensemble.

Un site agréable avec de belles piscines bien entretenue. En revanche le logement est un peu moyen sur la propreté. Beaucoup de toiles d’araignées et de bourrés de poussière dans les coins haut. De la moisissure dans la chambre à cause des joints de la douche à refaire. Un petit coup de frais dans l’appartement serait parfait. Sinon le personnel est souriant et serviable. Je garde l’adresse pour y retourner une prochaine fois

Arrivée à 18H45 , j'ai réservé dans cet établissement exprès pour la piscine en temps de très fortes chaleurs, la piscine a fermé à 19h!!!!! 33 degrés, 24 juin !!! c'est inadmissible ! je n'ai pas pu profiter de la piscine ! l'heure de fermeture devrait être adaptée en fonction du temps et pas du personnel, beaucoup de personnes étaient installées sur les transats et ont du partir.

Road girls trip

Un court séjour car une seule nuit réservée mais nous avons été ravie du logement avec chambre/salle de bain indépendante pour les 2 chambres, l'environnement très calme ...idéal !!
Bémol : Pour une nuit les draps et serviettes sont fournies sauf qu'à notre arrivée vers 21h00 pas de draps ni de serviettes !! Du coup obligée de retournée à l'accueil (fermé) et de choper le portable en cas d'urgence ..là pas d'excuses au tel mais la personne l'a quand même fait 10 min plus tard de vive voix en nous apportant le baluchon ... Idem le lendemain incompréhension pour le rendu de la carte badge d'accès au logement et perte de temps à la rechercher (carte restée dans le logement) sous la menace expresse de nous la facturer 5€ ...bof mais cela n'a pas gâché notre séjour !!

Bon logements mais les services sont devenus nuls

L'aspect hôtelier est très bon, les logements, les lits et l'aménagement sont biens.
Par contre l'accueil, les strictes heures d'ouverture ou de fermeture sont contraignants.
Le sourire du service client a dû être oublié dans un centre de détention.
Le client garde ses valises jusque 17h et doit dégager avant 10h. Pour un long week-end c'est un peu dur.

CHECK IN TROP LONG !...

Petit village de vacances et de repos, utilisé pour le rentabiliser en hôtel de passage !...
Notre GPS nous a amené sur un chemin à coté de l'accueil !.. Le check-in est très long et pas adapté aux courts séjours. Il y avait donc une file d'attente conséquente. La piscine est belle et permet de bien se détendre après les heures sur la route. Nous y avons passé une bonne nuit avant de reprendre la route.

RESIDENCE A RAFFRAICHIR D'URGENCE ! peinture écaillé, odeur d'humidité dans la salle de bain, toiles d'araignées dans les toilettes... Dommage car l'appartement est spacieux et bien équipé. La piscine pourrait être bien si elle était rénové avec des douches qui fonctionnent... le sauna \"fait main\" laisse à désirer et le carrelage du hammam est décollé à de multiples endroits ! pas de restaurant ouvert en avril

Séjour impeccable

Nous avons séjourné une seule nuit avec un bébé de 8 mois. Les infrastructures étaient parfaitement adaptées. Camping paisible, idéal pour se reposer. Néanmoins de nombreux loisirs tél que des cours de tennis, la piscine... Sont accessibles. Le personnel accueillant, compétant et au petit soin.

Village très bien adapté pour des enfants (aire de jeux, structure gonflable, espace extérieur).

La chambre était en très bon état (douche et literie notamment).

Contrepartie du calme, il n'y a pas de commerces à proximité.

Enfin, le restaurant peut dépanner un soir, mais il ne mérite pas le détour : 4 plats possibles, tous avec des frites et de la salade verte en tant que ''légumes de saison''.

Wir waren leider nur kurz da und konnten dementsprechend von der Umgebung nicht viel sehen, auch wäre es in der warmen Jahreszeit sicher noch viel schöner gewesen. Auch war es ziemlich schwierig, unser Häuschen in der Dunkelheit zu finden (Rezeption war schon geschlossen und daher keine Auskunft möglich). Schade fanden wir, dass der Pool am Abend geschlossen ist und die Wellnessbereiche gar erst nachmittags öffnen, Abendessen war auch nicht möglich.
Zur Hauptsaison ist das bestimmt alles anders und man kann sich in den schönen Appartements und der ruhigen Umgebung wunderbar erholen.

Wir haben eine Nacht in dieser Ferienanlage verbracht. Dafür war es ok. Schwimmbad leider nicht sehr sauber.

Un peu loin de tout mais finalement permet le repos.
Seul bémol et c'est dommage, pas de housse de protection matelas dans le lit des parents à deux places.
Le problème peut vite être . Sinon, très bien continuez comme cela.

Très bien accueilli, le studio est très bien, un accès au spa offert, wifi de bonne qualité, environnement calme et accessible.
Le restaurant est vraiment bien, le chef cuisine maison à des prix abordable. Je recommande fortement

Petit problème vite réglé

La découverte du studio ne fut pas extraordinaire, j'ai découvert des légumes qui avaient été laissés dans la cuisine depuis des mois. Odeur et coulure dans les meubles de la cuisine.

Cependant, ce problème a vite été réglé dès le lendemain. Le ménage intégrale de ma chambre a été fait et je n'ai pas eu besoin de faire de ménage à mon départ en contre-partie de ce désagrément.

D'où ma note, dans tous les cas, j'ai fini avec une chambre propre.
