Our stay was fantastic. I would highly recommend Dona Graca. The staff was warm and inviting. The breakfast was delicious and the apartment style room was charming. We would love to visit again and stay at Dona Graca. We felt very at home and the customer service was top notch. Lisbon was a beautiful city to visit.

This property is very well kept. The rooms are very clean and spacious for our family of four. The front desk members are very kind and helpful. We spent 10 days at Dona Graca apartments & were delighted! it was the perfect place for our birthday getaway! Each morning we received fresh rolls & OJ.. our fridge was stocked with yogurts & delicious jellies. The staff was friendly & readily available to assist with questions
The space was nicely designed & right outside was a lovely garden area & pool. Close to restaurants & groceries. Highly recommend!

Great apartment, spacious enough for us and our baby. Apartment backed onto the pool which was perfect for us. Only thing we weren't aware of is that the garden and pool area is shared with a restaurant next door so in the evening there are restaurant diners in the garden. Although they say you can still use the area, we felt a bit uncomfortable going out there because it was a quiet dining atmosphere.

The location of this property was pretty good. A bit out of the way if that is what you want. Parking was very easy, we liked that about the location.

The room itself was fine, clean. The door was very old and having to use an old key to open and close it every day was a bit annoying as it kept getting stuck.

We had an issue with our credit card on the day of check in, the property was not accepting payment from our Canadian Visas. We tried several times and many cards, we also confirmed from our banks that our cards were totally fine and it was an issue at the property. It was very stressful and the staff didn't offer much to compensate making us feel like it was our fault (when it was not). If you are a Canadian or even US checking into this property, be aware your card may not work.

The pictures of the pool area were very deceiving in my opinion. It is very small and not many places to sit if there are multiple people or families outside. The back area was also a bit tired looking.

All in all the stay was OK, however, I would not stay here again.

It was our first time to Portugal and what a great way to start our trip! We were greeted with warmth, beautiful/chic design, and such a open and spacious, clean room. Very peaceful and relaxing spot. We couldn’t recommend it more!

We enjoyed a quiet neighbourhood that was 20 minute walking distance from central Lisbon square. The property’s uniqueness of old and new architecture was appreciated and allowed us to instantly relax and immerse us into the Portuguese culture. The morning breakfast provided was more than enough food for a family of 4. The personnel were extremely friendly and helpful and we will share this place with friends who visit Lisbon. Thank you for creating a memorable stay for us.

Overall not what I was expecting. On a bright day, the garden is really pretty however we came in November and with some rain our apartment had a consistent smell of damp. Breakfast was just 4 pieces of bread and some cheese. If you needed more coffee they came at a cost of 2.80 for 4 capsules. Overall wished I stayed in a proper hotel

A great breathing space amidst the Lisbon bustle

We had a lovely time in our Dona Graca apartment. We picked it for the pool and garden as private outside space is a premium in Lisbon. The pool is shallow (0.8m) but good for paddling. The garden is nice with a good mix of shade and sun through the day. The apartment was lovely.

Everything about this day was perfect! We travelled with a nine month old baby and the hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful with everything! You can get local advice and recommendations. The apartment was perfect clean tidy modern and enjoyable in every way. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Lisbon.

Great location, gorgeous apartment with tasteful interior. The hosts are very friendly and cannot do enough to help you. Charming Lisbon Apartments!

A charming and relaxing apartment in the heart of Lisbon! We spent 10 nights at Dona Graca apartments and loved every moment. Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals in the evening. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood on a hill that looks out over the city and river and all the best sites and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and our room was so clean and well decorated it really did feel like home.

We don’t normally book apartments but booked this one based on the reviews over a hotel. We read quite a lot of the reviews. We were glad we did. The reviews here are a true reflection.

We would say this apartment is a cross between an apartment and a hotel. They offer the best of both. The owners have spent some money on the property inside and out.

There are about eight apartments and they look after you while you are there. The breakfasts are great and reception will help you out (so impressed with their English).

The downsides are it is a couple of streets further away from the centre. Not really a problem. It’s hilly, not really a problem. The one difficulty for me was the mattresses were fairly hard and take some time to get used to.

Overall, very happy.

Very nice place

The hotel is by the top of the hill by Alfama. The area is old (Alfama is an old part of the city so it all looks old) but that adds to the charm in many ways. Lisbon is quite small and the taxis cheap so a taxi or uber can get you anywhere in around 15-20 mins cheaply. Our room was very new and modern though. The 'room' was actually made up of a few rooms so it felt like a small flat which was very nice as it felt quite large and modern. It was a very nice property, clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our 'room' was on the top floor which was fine for us but may be an issue for older people because of the stairs (there is not a lift), but there are ground floor rooms for older people I suppose. The front desk was not 24 hours as it's not a large hotel but they arranged to be there after hours for us if we arrived late (so that was not an issue for us) and seemed to be there most the time. Wifi was quick. I would stay here again.

Minutes after booking I received an email from the hotel asking if I needed any help and offering me assistance for the trip.

The hotel took care of a taxi from the airport to the hotel and added it to my bill.

The hotel is fantastically located in a quieter area. Lots of space in reception and lots of space in the room. The staff were fantastic and I could not rate the experience we had highly enough. Every time we saw anybody they were eager to please and genuinely wanted to make our experience a positive one.


Upon checking in at reception one person checked us in and the other explained Lisbon and what to see and do whilst the documentation was prepared.

Swift and efficient its lovely to see people who enjoy dealing with people fulfilling such a role.

Great choice in quiet neighbourhood

We arrived after usual. Check in time but this was not a problem. We had let the Hotel arranceca transfer from the airport and the driver called on the way

Our Europe trip highlight

We feel very lucky to have discovered Dona Graça. After searching for weeks for a place to stay in Lisbon, this one popped up at the last minute (as it had just opened). There is no other hotel in Lisbon that ticks every box for what we wanted. Beautiful design, beautiful quiet pool, not an overcrowded tourist hotel, friendly staff, air conditioning, nice neighborhood, the list goes on. Breakfast delivered every morning to your room (so convenient), and just a 10 minute walk down the main area of Alfama. We tried to stay longer but unfortunately they were booked out. Even though we had to check out after 4 nights, they offered for us to come back the next day for a swim in the pool! So nice! Best hotel ever. We can’t wait to come back when we visit Lisbon next. The absolute highlight of our 4 weeks in Europe. We were so sad to leave!

We thought the place was beautiful and well designed with a perfect mix of old with new! It was in a great location within walking distance to many tourist attractions but it also felt secluded from the buzz of the city with the relaxing pool area at the rear of the property! The attention to detail was appreciated as was the delicious breakfast! The staff were very accommodating and helpful and went over and above to ensure a memorable stay.
