This small boutique hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff, particularly Daniel were most accommodating. We will return to this property. The breakfast looked fabulous but unfortunately we had to be gone both mornings before it opened at 8 am. My only suggestion would be to open breakfast by 7 am as many day tours have early start times. Thank you, Dalma Suites!

While the overall stay was pleasant, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The breakfast hours were not ideal for active travelers—starting at 8 a.m. made it difficult to enjoy the offering, especially since we typically left the hotel before 7 a.m. The selection was also quite limited, which made it hard to find something suitable. Additionally, it would have been nice to receive a warm welcome upon arrival, as there was no staff presence at the front entrance. Lastly, the entrance stairs were quite steep, making it challenging to carry luggage in comfortably. I hope these points can be considered to enhance future guest experiences.

Great location in Alfama! Everything was within walking distance for tourists. Only thing we had issues with was that the shower drain wasn’t draining properly and the fridge made some noise all night.
Besides that, the whole suite was amazing! They even provided complimentary bottled water, a bottle of Rosé and nespresso coffee. The staff that greeted us and checked us in was very polite and professional!
Outside the hotel, there are a ton of good food options within walking distance. The hotel is also on the famous 28 tram route!

Beautiful room. I was travelling with my teenage children and elderly mother. I wanted somewhere to stay with 2 bedrooms to give everyone a bit of space. Our ‘room’ exceeded our expectations, we all said it was the nicest place we’ve stayed in. More like a 2 bed apartment, we had so much space, 2 spacious bedrooms, comfy beds, 2 bathrooms, lovely living space with an amazing view of the river, sofa, arm chairs, TV, dining table and mini kitchen. The styling was beautifully done, our room was kitted out with everything we needed- there was even a mini kitchen with washing machine, microwave etc. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were on the 4th floor, there is a lift but there were stairs from our door up to our room. We paid extra for breakfast which was delicious and there was lots of choice. The location is very central, in the heart of Alfama, on a steep, busy road with a no.12 tram stop outside. The staff at the hotel were lovely, very efficient and helpful. I would definitely go back.

Really cute, quaint apartment hotel. Worked great for our family of 5 in the two bedroom suite. Elevator was appreciated as room was on the 4th floor. About 10 stairs to get up to the apartment once in the room. Breakfast was a delicious mix of eggs, toast, pastries and fruit. Worth the add on. Great area of the city. It was wonderfully situated in the old town area of Lisbon. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the beds were comfortable, and views from 4th floor were fabulous! Walkable to dining, drinks and sightseeing. Be aware that it is not easy walking in Old Town, narrow streets with narrow sidewalks. The old cobblestones are uneven and it is very hilly. If you need flat, even pavement stay in a newer section by the river.

They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and treated us like family. Our room was amazing. The views were incredible and the bed so comfortable. There is a restaurant attached with delicious food and a friendly manager as well. The location is great. Close to many miradouros and bars/restaurants. Also, just steps from castle de sao Jorge. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

Only 2 issue with rooms is the towels which were showing signs of age i.e. well worn but they were changed when needed and lack of clothes hanging space (used hangers on door handles and managed). Basic breakfast provided if required but not much else at hotel, it is basically a nice room in a good location. Be prepared for lots of uphill/downhill walking on very steep hills around hotel also shop around for decent food. Lots of very basic pretty low quality food offered for tourists all over old town. I followed reviews and still unimpressed. Not easy to find good local food. But definitely recommend hotel if you just want a lovely room

It is extremely difficult to find parking and so if you are driving it is good to be aware of this. We had an extremely difficult time understanding the directions to the garage and finding a parking garage that was close by. Perhaps the hotel could provide travelers with a parking map? Just a thought. Amazing area!!

We highly recommend this lovely hotel right in midst of Old Town. We stayed in the family suite with our two teens and we had plenty of space for all of us and 2 bathrooms which is super handy. The suite was very clean and comfortable. We also had a great view of hill leading from old town down to the cruise ships in port. Finally, the suite was very quiet. I was amazed at how well the double doors blocked out any and every sound from the street. I even overheard my picky husband recommend this hotel to his work colleague!

I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. They were all very personable and EXTREMELY helpful. They were, by far, the best I've encountered in my travels. My room was clean and very large. The location was perfect for exploring. The tram stop is right in front of the hotel and there are tons of nearby eateries (open on Xmas eve and day also). If you get a bit homesick, the place across the street has excellent pizza. There is a beautiful plaza just 1 block away. Good walking shoes or sneakers are a must, as the area is all cobblestone and the hills are significant.
