The room itself was comfortable and well-presented, but the lack of complementary amenities beyond basic tea and coffee was disappointing compared to other hotels in the same category. Unfortunately, the most negative part of our stay was the service — several staff members were noticeably rude, which really affected our experience and has made us hesitant to stay at another QT property in the future.

Room was loverly with a great view over the beach , unfortunately the weather was bad and no swimming possible . Friday night they have a great Latin music night with a great bunch of locals attending. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of food. Staff at the front desk very friendly and helpful.

The QT overall is a nice hotel and staff were great. The balcony’s being out of use (something not communicated beforehand) was really disappointing and took away from the stay. Having stayed in two other QT’s in other parts of the country, this one isn’t at the same level yet unfortunately. But breakfast and pool drinks were good and the room was very comfortable.

Good overall. Concierge guy was great when we first arrived. Room was on a low floor even though booked months in advance - was ok though being immersed in the sights.

Attention to detail items - doors chipped (guests can be oblivious) but keep up maintenance. Some areas closed within building felt odd. Spa was obsecnsily expensive with no confidence they would be any better than down the road and services don't include a casual entry to steam room. Some simple and easy tweaks to maximize profit and enhance guest experience.

It comes from the top though and experience in leadership so staff in general were awesome and doing what they are taught and told... But their bosses need to be taught.

It's probably great for families but for a gay couple.. the spa and pool was a sess pool of children.

Tap in bathroom sink hangs too far over sink and the bench above is the same, that should have been picked up in the design build.

The bed was amazing and comfortable along with the pillows had an awesome sleep. Good 4 star overall - if you want 5 star... Get better management with more experience.

I was asked to pay for my stay on the night I arrived, despite having prepaid. The reception was very close to charging me twice until I showed her my own records.

Also, why did I have to pay a full room fee when it turned out the balcony my for my room was not useable? People come to the GC for the balcony views!

Could not sleep as the assigned room was over an outside entertainment area with a very noisy DJ and music for a wedding party. The hotel should have told guest beforehand or done some noise mitigation, but did not.

Balcony couldn't be used in any rooms which was disappointing (and wasn't communicated at time of booking).

General areas were a bit unclean (including giant cockroach!) and the TV didn't work in my room. Had to switch rooms (but only becuase I asked, otherwise it was a \"too bad\") and the weather was bad when there so there was a little time spent indoors! Not as good as a normal QT experience.

Staff didn't do anything to make up for the hassle.

Room was very nice, staff were helpful and breakfast was tasty. We were advised one restaurant was closed for renovations, only after booking, that was good to know in advance though. What we weren't told, was that no one was allowed to access their balcony, due to renovations. I might not have booked a deluxe ocean view room had I known we wouldn't have a balcony. Also a small disappointment, but a bit of a let down nonetheless, was that the room wasn't stocked with the Kevin Murphy haircare as advertised to complement the Dyson hairdryer. Overall, it was a nice stay, but very expensive considering we didn't get the full experience that was advertised.

Sadly for all guests and staff, the current maintenance program ( unknown to us at time of booking) prevented use of the pool we were offered several alternatives at adjoining properties, But more,importantly, having no access to our deck affected us most. Thank s to the amazing staff.

Pool and Balcony were closed and not usable. Were advised of this a week prior to arrival, it was noted a neighbouring properties pool would be available to use. This turned out to be 1/2 a km away. No outdoor space to sit. Had this been made clearer earlier we would have changed accomodation. Not on really.

Fabulous, stylish property. Fantastic rooms, great splash of colour, comfy beds and high-quality linen. Amazing breakfast and well-stocked bar. Only downside was the pool and room balconies were closed for repairs. Agreements were made with 'neigbouring' hotels to use their pools but none of these were very close. Vibe was the closest but tried 3 separate times to get a park but could not. A shuttle was provided by the hotel but this was only between 10-4. The hotel did advise of the unavailability of these facilities prior to the stay and some compensation was given however, it did mean we didn't get to swim during our stay, which was important to our family.

Unfortunately the pool wasn’t available and we couldn’t open the doors onto the balcony. The staff went out of their way to compensate for this and included breakfast and some drinks.
My lower rating was due to the shower. It was basic with low pressure on a hose (many hotels have this and a fixed shower with good pressure). For the price bracket of this hotel, I’d expect better. Whilst it is only 1km to the centre, there are no cafes close by. The cafe inside the hotel was nice with good service.

We loved everything about this hotel, the decor is fun, the hotel is clean and comfortable. It ticked all our boxes - 2 queen comfy beds in one room with fresh clean linen met our needs. The pool was inviting and the spa was set at the perfect temperature. We were on the 15th floor and had great views of the city, only downside balcony not accessible door were zip tied shut. It would have been lovely to have had access for fresh air. There’s a lot of construction in the area, the noise didn’t affect us as we were mostly out and about.Highly recommended.

I specifically booked there so we had a balcony/ocean view, and paid decent money to do so. We were told upon arrival that all balconies were locked due to maintenance. We got 2x standard drink vouchers for the inconvenience.

I expect better from a hotel that’s meant to be quality.

Had an ok stay!

We had five nights in a suite and were very disappointed on check in to find balconies were all closed off atm. We wanted some fresh air and to sit there.
The bed was really too soft, might be getting a bit old? The bathroom was nice and big and had a second toilet. View was good.
We also found the sitting room seating very uncomfortable and low, and no relaxing place to sit. Ok for one night or so.
We had a bag of things in a cupboard under the sink, to keep out of the way and some bread, and we were shocked that the cleaner took them one day!, so told hotel, and they have now posted back the travel bag full of bits and pieces, thankfully.
Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.

Everything was great, the staff in particular were so helpful and friendly. I was there for a week and was always greeted with a smile.
The facilities are clean and comfortable, and having the tram only a few minutes walk away was very handy indeed.
The only minor 'grumble' was that the mini bar fridge was so well stocked, there was little room to add anything I bought elsewhere.
I would happily return, no questions about it.

This is my second time here. Very close to the beach so the walk is easy and enjoyable.
Rooms are fitted with ample lighting, heating/air conditioning and TV that I can chromcast to watch whatever I want. Free wifi for the kids. The pool/hot tub is clean and the area is beautifully presented and perfect for everyone. Bar and big screen which makes for great game nights.
Buffet breakfast was great and well worth the extra to have all the options.
