Everything is in good walking distance and the pool was nice. Also the reception staff were really friendly and so helpful.

Only complaints were the shower was half broken (probably should have mentioned it to the staff but I couldn’t be bothered) and the bed has probably been slept in by 10,000 people and needs a new mattress.

A disappointing stay at Salina Bay. The reception staff are rude and unhelpful. Check in is at 5pm, and there were no available rooms so had to wait an open ended amount of time. We didn’t get in the room until almost 6pm. There were no apologies whatsoever.

The apartments are basic and uncomfortable, beds broken and creaking. The grounds are full of signs saying ‘ do not step on the grass’. It is pathetic. You come to this place on holiday to relax and are instead met with ridiculous rules and unsavoury staff.

Personally I would avoid, this is NOT a 4 star hotel but more like a hostel.

Great location in Porto Vecchio

This was a great base to use for our trip to Corsica. The property is comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The staff are lovely and helpful. There's a grocery store across the street and it's only a 10-15min walk to the old town. It was an easy drive to places like Zonza, Palombaggia, Santa Guilia, and Bonifacio. Would definitely recommend if you need a place in Porto Vecchio.

Great property with very nice pool area with plenty of chairs and sunbrellas Grounds are kept beautifully. Spacious apartments with double bathrooms and two bedrooms. Great location to visit southern Corsica from. Free sunbrella rental when going to the beach. Super market for groceries literally across the street. Free parking.

Very good but lacking atmosphere.

It's hard to criticize in a way, as the unit is excellent and kitted out well enough for self catering. The grounds are manicured with a beautiful pool. Location is good 5 min flat walk to the harbour area. However, it's bereft of character and lots of emphasis on what you cannot do - after check-in both my wife and I independently had this memory of when we checked-in to a soviet style hotel in Vietnam a number of year ago! They are very cheap about the providing minor extras - check-in miniscule amounts of dish detergent, no coffee or tee,1 toilet roll for 7 days, etc. - pay extra to get pool towels.

Pool bar does not accept card payments. Only cash and do not provide receipts which I found strange for a hotel of this size.

Lawn mowing takes places during kids nap times which is also something to be aware of.

Hotel is in very good location.

Good location (not amazing nor walkable to a beach, but certainly convenient for the beautiful nearby town of Porto Vecchio, 5min walk away). Plenty of parking close to apartment blocks.
I liked the modern spacious one bedroom apartment and balcony (2 adults in main bedroom, advertised as a queen but felt like a super king size , 2 kids aged 7 and 10 shared the large sofa bed); clean and good-sized swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers and nearby toilet.
The gym equipment is minimal (4 or 5 cardio machines, 5-6 weights machines, no floor/ stretching area).
Helpful, friendly reception staff to assist with local knowledge and any tourist bookings.
Negatives include- no balls nor inflatables in the pool, not allowed to walk on the grass.
Be prepared- they supply one toilet roll. You will need to supply hand soap, all toiletries, washing up equipment, bin bags and surplus toilet rolls. Not a problem but useful to know beforehand.
Despite the many positives, my main dislike was that the complex had very little character. It felt like a generic apartment block which could have been anywhere in the world. There’s nothing personalised to identify that you’re in Corsica or France.
You will benefit from a hire car to explore the surrounding area. We drove as little as 10-15 mins to beautiful local beaches and up to 1.5 hrs to go canyoning in the mountains which was the highlight of our week! Also be sure to visit Bonifacio, 30-45 min drive depending on traffic.

Fantastic base for exploring Corse du Sud. Ample free parking. Location perfect. The pool is wonderful, but a little cold. The gym is small but functional. Apartments are a good size, huge terrace overlooking the mountains that had sun during the day, well equipped. Feels very safe. The complex itself is very well maintained. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a great experience from the start! The receptionist was very friendly and the apartment perfect for our needs. The location is ideal as a starting point for exploring the beautiful beaches in the south of the island. We will definitely consider booking it again on our next trip to Corsica.

Lovely clean apartment. We had a basic one bedroom with balcony. Reception: extremely pleasant staff, very efficient. Bathroom: shower with plenty of hot water, shampoo/body wash provided. Towels included. Hairdryer. Bedroom: safe. Lots of coat hangers. Extra pillows Separate air conditioner. Kitchen: all utensils included. Dishwasher. Full size fridge freezer. Just bring extra tea towels and a cloth. Living room: sofa bed if required. Plenty of storage. TV. Only 2 channels for English speakers. CNN and a German English speaking channel. Air conditioning. Balcony: sofa, table and chairs. Manual dryer. Pool: large cleaning. Pool towels provided by reception. Lots of sun beds.No need to run and save a bed with a towel at the crack of dawn!! Pool bar: limited offerings but ideal for a cold drink or ice cream. There is plenty of parking. Car is a necessity. This hotel is an ideal base for exploring. Supermarket across the road for all your daily needs.

The unit we stayed in was lovely, with views of the pool and surrounding mountains. There's a supermarket just across the road, and the bustling port a few minutes down the road. Easy drive to some amazing beaches and mountains. Good cooking facilities, friendly staff and a great pool.

A comfortable apartment in good location\n

The apartment was comfortable and spacious. We had a lovely large balcony with a view of attractive gardens and parking. It was very quiet even though we were next to the lift - we couldn't hear it.
The amenities including the swimming pool were also very attractive.
The location was excellent with the Port only a few minutes walk away and the Old Town a 15 minute walk. There was a large supermarket at the end of the drive too.

Great place but No WiFi

Nice property very well maintained by the staff. Perhaps Better for a week + stay than 3 nights. Lovely pool and pool bar lady. Only issue with this hotel is the WiFi did not work at all our whole stay which the reception knew and with such a big property should have had an engineer fix it immediately.

Nice Apartments close to the Port

The location is fantastic. Its walking distance from the port. The port is very vibrant with lots of bars, restaurants, cafes etc. There is a large supermarket just outside of the apartment complex, making it easily to purchase provisions for breakfast etc.

The apartment was comfortable, the kitchen was adequate. The swimming pool is large and well maintained. There is also plenty of parking available for your car.

The only 2 downsides of this place are :
1. The reception is open only for a limited number of hours. The check in is only between 5pm-7pm and if you miss this slot, its a problem.
2. There is no ongoing housekeeping. The room is serviced on a weekly basis.

On the whole, Salina Bay is a nice and comfortable place to stay and I would not hesitate recommending it.

Excellent accommodation, clean & well decorated. Large patio and very spacious inside. The only negative was the wifi as the connection was very poor. Outside the grounds were kept in immaculate condition with a good pool area. Parking was great too. All within easy walking distance of the supermarket which is just over the road and the port which is a 5-10min walk away.

We found the hotel very comfortable and well equipped. It was situated close to a supermarket and some very nice restaurants. The grounds of the hotel were well kept although the pool was very deep and also very cold. there was plenty of parking space, but the large stones on the parking spots made it difficult to drive on and off, everyone had the same problem, so they may want to look into that one.

A perfect base for exploring south Corsica

A lovely setting a short walk from the port and restaurants. Manicured grounds, clean pool and plenty of space. Kids play area for table tennis and climbing etc. Well thought out kitchen with enough stuff to cook basic meals, easy to buy from the nearby supermarket or whilst out and about.

Down side - no place to hang out, other than by the pool - nowhere to meet for a drink and swap stories of easily filled days, other than each others rooms or in town.

Room cleanliness down to you after arrival - lots of cleaners but none entered. Took own rubbish (no recycling facilities). Bought own loo rolls, towels used for the week. Need own pool towels too - took up valuable easyjet kilograms!. We would go back tomorrow. Had a great time.

Highlight for kids the zip wire at Oespedail in the mountains and river swimming. For the grown ups the boat to Iles levezzi from Bonifacio.

Overall brilliant but needs a meeting point/ bar on site.

Har bodd på dette hotellet en uke de fire siste årene. Et trygt og godt kompleks med store gode rom og et funksjonelt kjøkken. Gratis parkering og flott basseng.
Gangavstand til både havnen og citadellen med mange shopping og restauranter.
Ligger også bare en kort kjøretur unna de flotteste strendene på hele Korsika.

La piscine est très agréable et les abords très bien entretenus.
le systeme de machine à laver est bien peut être une machine supplémentaire serait-il plus judicieux. trop d'attente parfois.
la localisation proche du centre est aussi un bon point.
Le Wifi de notre appartement fonctionnait très mal
la literie du canapé-convertible était inconfortable.

On the surface everything looks good (nice apartment and good looking pool). The downside is that for this price point the beds are quite uncomfortable, the air-conditioning is noisy and it's annoying to not have the option to book things to the room (you pay a deposit after all) at the pool bar. In addition charging extra for towels and parking seems a little petty. Last but not least the WiFi is very bad. It feels like they want to lure in bookings by presenting a nice first impression but care little about making the stay pleasant. They certainly have to try harder to earn a higher rating.

La verdure, la piscine, la vue.
Cuisine , il manquait beaucoup de choses, à l’arrivée l’étendoir de linge était cassé , des tâches des saleté au niveau des équipements et malgré l’avoir signalé à l’accueil rien n’a été fait.
Les autres points négatifs sont le ménage qui n’est compris qu’au bout de 10 jours et ça s’est écrit nul part , on est resté avec les mêmes draps et linge de maison pour toute la durée de notre séjour.
Dans la terrasse des guêpes venaient nous rendre visite tous les jours à tel point qu’on était obligé de rentrer à l’intérieur.
La deuxième salle de bain sentait énormément la moisissure et ça nous a gêné pendant notre séjour.
Bref je n’ai pas été satisfaite de mon séjour.

Un peu déçu

Globalement, nous avons passé un bon séjour. Cependant, côté personnel, c'est pas top: problème de frigo qui ne fonctionne pas, mais on nous dit que tout va bien avec un frigo à 15 degrés!. Au bout de 3 demandes et après notre insistance pour que ce frigo fonctionne, on nous change d'appartement. Dans celui-ci, la douche est bouchée. Ça fait beaucoup coup sur coup sur 2 appartements. Le bonjour est souvent en option. Nous n'avons pas apprécié d'être prises pour des imbéciles. Les soucis peuvent se produire, c'est compréhensible mais c'est la façon de traiter le problème qui nous a déplu. En fait, on les dérangeait plus qu'autre chose. Il a fallu leur dire à 3 reprises qu'un frigo à 15 degrés au bout de 2 jours sur un thermostat 7, c'est pas acceptable, pour qu'ils fassent quelque chose.
Les appartements sont corrects mais commencent à fatiguer. Je pense qu'au lieu de s'occuper des extérieurs H24 pour que pas un brin de pelouse ne depasse, il faudrait s'occuper un peu des appartements.
La piscine n'est pas chauffée, mais ça passe si vous n'êtes pas trop frileux et par contre, pas pratique pour les enfants car on n'a pratiquement pas pieds nulle part (je fais 1,70).
Par \"menage\" une fois par semaine, il faut entendre: on toque à la porte, on vous donne un sac avec des draps et serviettes propres et à vous de vous débrouiller. Ça ne nous a pas gêné en soi, mais il faut changer le terme de ménage qui n'est pas approprié ici.
Sinon, résidence idéalement placée.

Very nice apartments with a view

Very nice and clean apartments with a beautiful view on Porto-Vecchio.

The apartment complex also offers a very large and nice pool as well as a cozy but decent gym.

Reception also gives very useful advices for activities around Porto-Vecchio and Corse

Would stay there again.

Très bien

Nous avons passé 15 jours dans cet établissement et tout était super. Appartement spacieux, propre à tout point de vue : sanitaires, linge de maison et de toilette....
Le personnel de l'accueil et de l'entretien est au top, souriant et serviable.
Un grand merci à l'établissement pour cet agréable séjour. Nous y reviendrons c'est certain

Mooi appartementencomplex in prachtig resort

Mooi, ruim, zeer schoon appartementencomplex in een mooi resort. Personeel is heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
Geen grootschalig complex waardoor je voldoende rust hebt, zowel in het resort als bij het zwembad, gelukkig geen handdoekje leggen cultuur.
Appartement ruim met volledig ingerichte keuken, w.o. vaatwasser, oven, magnetron, voldoende borden en bestek etc.
Wasmaschine (€ 5) is beschikbaar op de eerste etage van elk appartmentengebouw. Wasrekje is aanwezig in het appartement.
Bedden zijn goed, alleen de slaapbank in de woonkamer is qua matras van mindere kwaliteit en niet heel comfortabel.
Supermarkt (Casino) direct gelegen tegenover het complex.Goede bakker op 5 min. loopafstand.
Haven is 5 min. lopen en centrum van Porto-Vecchio ongeveer 15 min. lopen (wel een stevige klim).
Parkeerplekken zijn direct tegenover de appartementen gelegen. Wifi was redelijk, je kunt met meerdere telefoons tegelijk hiervan gebruik maken maar hoe meer apparaten hoe trager de Wifi is.

Appartement agréable avec vue sur jardin ( très bien entretenu et interdit de Marcel sur les pelouses).
Bien situé par rapport au centre.
Literie moyenne.
Le points vraiment négatifs :Pas de changement de draps et serviettes dans la semaine , tout est payant ( lessive,eponge, papier wc)

Schöne gepflegte Anlage

Sehr , große , geräumige Appartements und sehr gr0ßer Pool.
Leider vieles verboten z.B. reinspringen, Luftmatratze ( wir waren die einzigen ),
Rasen nicht betreten und kein Kleinkinderbecken , überall Wassertiefe 1,50 m
zum Strand nur mit Auto möglich , doch wunderschöne Strände in der Nähe
z.B. Plage Santa Guilia

Très jolie résidence, séjour parfait!

La résidence est très belle, très bien entretenue, les jardiniers font un travail remarquable. Que dire, le nettoyage de la piscine est des alentours est fait tous les matins, les toilettes de la piscines sont très propres également. Notre appartement situé au 3ème étage du bâtiment C avait une vue imprenable sur la piscine, les jardins, les marais salants ainsi que la montagne en face Aiguilles de Bavella :-)
L'appartement très propre également, juste quelques traces de doigts sur les porte du placard de la chambre ainsi que sur la porte d'entrée, le reste était nickel!
Le personnel au petit soin, le dernier jour notre avion ne partant que le soir (chambre à libérer pour 10H du matin) ils nous ont gracieusement preté des serviettes pour la piscine et offert de nous doucher dans une salle de bain près de la réception en nous pretant de nouvelles serviettes! Le top! Personnel au service des clients.A réserver à nouveau sans souci!:-)

Great place with very high standard apartments

Great place with very high standard apartments and fully equipped kitchens. The area is calm and the pool was very nice. Only a few guest left their towels on the sunbeds all day which meant it was possible to get a sunbed even late in the afternoon which was the busiest time of day. It's only 10-15 minutes walking distance from the old town all though it's a steep walk :-) One important thing is that the sofa bed was very poor. You feel the metal frame and all the springs. Therefore you have to go to the reception and ask for an extra mattress!

Appart hôtel d'exception

Nous venons de séjourner à la Résidence Salina Bay à Porto Vecchio.
Après un accueil des plus agréables, avec toutes les précisions possibles sur la résidence et les activités alentours, nous avons découvert notre appartement qui était superbe.
Spacieux, bien agencé et surtout très propre.
Tous les espaces verts sont très bien entretenue ainsi que la piscine.
La résidence est au calme et à proximité de toutes les commodités et très bien situé pour visiter le sud de la Corse.
Je conseille vraiment cette résidence et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.
Seul bémol : il faut rendre la clé des chambres à 10H le matin, ce qui est vraiment tôt, 11H serait un minimum.

Excellent séjour d'une semaine passé dans cette belle résidence avec une grande piscine + bar.
La résidence est bien entretenu et le personnel est sympathique.
L'appartement de catégorie standard, était grand et bien équipé avec une grande terrasse et la climatisation.

A prévoir lors de séjour : Les produits d'entretiens (liquide vaisselle, pastille lave-vaisselle, etc), et un supplément ménage si vous restez plus d'une semaine, le ménage est fait uniquement à la fin du séjour.
Le wifi fonctionne bien, mais malheureusement, uniquement sur un seul appareil à la fois.

Un supermarché et une boulangerie sont près de la résidence.
Le port est à 10 min et le centre historique à 15 min à pied.

On y reviendra rapidement.
