The room was lovely, spacious and clean with complimentary water and coffee. You get the traditional riad feel even though it's quite new but plenty of authentic Moroccan charm which makes it really cosy and friendly.
We were given an update on our original booking which was a bonus. The staff couldn't be more helpful with anything we wanted. Location wise was great, just a short walk to the beach and promenade and plenty of taxis around if you wanted to go a bit further, but also able to walk to most places if willing to.
On site the spa included an indoor pool, small gym and jacuzzi free to guests staying.
The onsite restaurant offers top quality food, but within a short walk are lots of other options to suit all tastes.
Our first time in Agadir and will definitely be returning soon!

The biggest attribute at this hotel is not the beautiful building, the amazing food or the calming atmosphere- it’s the combined staff. Literally everyone ( well, perhaps not the spa) meets you with a smile and you’re left in no doubt that you’re welcome and valued. Big shout out to Rida ( but equally want to recognise the other bar and restaurant staff and the endlessly cheerful pool guy and super helpful reception staff. I know why we returned here twice in 3 months - and despite the poor weather on this recent trip - we’ll be back.

This is a perfect place to spend a few days relaxing if thats your thing - and it is mine.

The rooms are incredible (we had a junior suite and I was really impressed) the ambience of the public spaces is warm, friendly and convivial and the staff are stellar -particular shout out to Rida in the restaurant who hit the balance being professional and attentive at all times and personal and warm when the opportunity arose.

It was particularly amusing to find some of the most beautiful and friendly cats wandering around the hotel alongside a fat and friendly labrador and can you believe it... five tortoise

All in all it was a top stay

Lovely sanctuary

This is a beautiful Riad and decorated to a very high standard with lovely traditional features. Candles and roses everywhere and the garden and pool area was fabulous. The restaurant offered a great variety of wonderful dishes both at breakfast and dinner, a superb visit.

La plus belle propriété d’Agadir ! Pour un séjour chic et loin des grandes structures sans âme, la Villa blanche est la meilleure option. Tout y est absolument charmant et fait avec beaucoup de goût ! Le restaurant est un vrai délice, que ce soit au déjeuner ou au dîner. La plus belle partie de cette maison reste le spa, avec ses magnifiques installations et son personnel qualifié et sympathique, un grand merci à Assia pour son sourire, sa bonne humeur et son professionnalisme !

Lovely hotel, beautiful interior looking a little jaded but with wonderful touches like white roses in vases throughout the hotel, including two vases in our room and one in the bathroom. Candles lit at night time making the hotel look beautiful. Nice staff, a little slow on room service request but we called down during dinner and they were busy.

We had the best time at this riad! The design of the hotel is very intricate. Flowers and candles everywhere and you can smell it all around the hotel. Very relaxing and romantic. We had a wonderful massage and had a nice time enjoying the amenities such as the pool and jacuzzi. We also had a lovely time at the bar with live music. Would definitely rave and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 5 star experience.

We had a lovely stay here.
Once inside it was lovely and peaceful apart from at night when we were disturbed by traffic noise.
The overall building and decor was lovely. The candles in the evenings created a charming and tranquil ambiance.
We had one evening meal here which was delicious.
If we were to visit Agadir again we would stay here.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay here. We only stayed 1 night at this Riad. However, we found a huge cockroach in our bathroom which I have photos of. The toilet seat in our room was broken and wobbly. Breakfast was incredibly expensive for what it was - omelette with bread, pastries and fruit. Seemed to look nice on the surface but underneath there were a lot of cracks

Nice, smaller hotel on the beach in an area of mega hotels frequented by French tourists. Hôtel has 2 pools, excellent spa services, bar, restaurant and indoor and outdoor dining spaces. We wouldn’t recommend it for children though.

I like the cozy style and service of this boutique hotel, Mustafa at the restaurant is always wonderful.
He is one of the main reasons that we keep coming to this small but nice hotel.
However, the food in the restaurant needs to improve, the steaks are limited in variety, and tend to be hard,
It could add t-bone steaks from farmland of Morocco,
Breakfast must be included within room change.
They need to provide iron and iron board, and complementary tea& coffee in the rooms.

Fabulous place with amazing food doesnt quite get everything right - i had to ask several times for towels for instance. And the location is a hike or taxi drive to the centre. But these are minor complaints. It really is an amazing place with excellent food.

Very bad stay at Riad Villa Blanche- Disappointing

The dark moment of our trip in Morocco. Our stay at Riad Villa Blanche in Agadir. Unfortunately this stay was part of the longest of our trip.
Extremely disappointed with the reception. Not even a \"hello\" from the employee when we checked in. He looked at us like if we were lost. We found the overall interaction very rude and off putting.

After a rather long check in process, he didn't even propose to help with our suitcases, nor did he comply with the basic: password for the wifi...
Once we got to the room, we were welcomed with a weird smell in the hallway. Not a good sign for such an expensive hotel.
Our room faced the street, each night we were woken up by the loud noises coming from right outside the hotel. Loud music from cars parked at the Riad. People having very loud conversations at 2 am (crew members?). A barking dog for most of the night.. Cherry on the cake, a returned of a wedding at 3am with full on music and laughters.
The cleaning crew would forget to give us 2 towels, we had to request towels almost every day.
Our only luck was the fact that we were away for most of the day and only came back to sleep.
I will skip the very bad experience at check out with again the same employee...

We do NOT recommend Riad Villa Blanche and we will not stay here again. For the price, there are many other nicer hotels in the area.

Classy and luxurious

This is a beautiful hotel, designed in the traditional Moroccan style with authentic furnishings and decor to make you feel as if you are residing in a palace of old. The staff were super helpful, polite and professional.

Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard, and quick visits were made during the day to freshen it up (whilst we were out) and turn down the beds.

Breakfast is extra at £15 per person, but worth every penny. Dinner is classy and again at a price. This is one if the more exclusive restaurants in the area.

In summary, a fantastic, luxurious and comfortable stay.

We definitely felt we had made a great selection when we booked Riad Villa Blanche! Everything felt special from the moment we pulled up outside the front door and even though we had lots of plans to see more of Agadir we didn't end up leaving the hotel once. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful - we had a small issue with our room which was dealt with immediately. Food was exceptional, the spa was bliss and we're still dreaming about the pool!

Over priced for what it is.

The riad was very nice and modern but overpriced compared to others. The hotel staff were friendly but the receptionist would not change a 100 dirham note for us to pay the taxi, saying that he had \"no money\" at the till.
Agadir is not the best place in the world; we were there on business but I wouldn't recommend going for holiday.

Luxury as if from another age

Spent 4 nights here: a Riad style hotel near the end of Agadir's corniche. The Hotel breaths a warm and very luxurious Moroccan atmosphere, and together with the fantastic breakfast and restaurant, it is as if one were transported back to another age. Enjoyable pool area too.

Looks good but lacking badly on the detail

We were taken aback by the hotel on arrival, the surroundings and restaurant. It is a very nice place, but the location isn't great to explore Agadir.

The breakfast, lunch and dinner food were all good. All be it the lunch menu very small. Note the restaurant doesn't open until 8pm, personally a negative but I believe fairly typical of Morocco.

The spa, all be it we never took up any paid service, was very poor. Cold cold water in the 'heated' pool. Extremely dark all round, the sauna was turned off and only partially hot when we entered and the jacuzzi lacking of any power and again cold.

The hotel was what disappointed the most, the turn-down service took our soap away, didn't provide new, no new water was provided, there were adult and baby cockroaches in the room, we found used cotton buds in the box in our bathroom, the bath plug didn't close on the fancy ornamental bath, we couldn't get an iron and ironing board for five minutes to iron a dress, instead were advised repeatedly to pay and wait for their service, the sun beds by the pool were all broken, a struggle to find one you could sit-up on without it falling down.

The worst thing, after the first day we kindly advised the hotel manager with a list of things to improve. Nothing was taken on board in the subsequent nights stay and no form of any recommence was even offered - this is extremely poor service anywhere.

Not in the center, but don't need to go out!

At first, I was hesitated to book Riad villa blanche, because it was located a little bit out of city center.
But when I got there, I realized that I don't even need to go out from this beautiful riad at all.
Riad is beautifully decorated and has a romantic spa and indoor & out door pool. Not far from the beach. You can relax as much as you want without even going to city center.
If you are a couple, you should also take advantage of the gorgeous restaurant(open till 10pm) and romantic bar(open till midnight).
Service was nice and actually I don't have any bad things to say..
Marjane is about 5 minutes by taxi, so if you need shopping you can ask for the taxi at the front.
Will definitely stay here again.

A beautiful experience from start to finish

From the moment you arrive you are surrounded by a truly lovely environment and well-mannered and helpful staff. The decor, the layout and surroundings are all welcoming. Our room was on the 3rd floor with sea views. Each has a slightly different touch but all feature Moroccan decor, large comfortable beds and the smell of roses and jasmine everywhere.
The staff are young, enthusiastic, well trained and extremely polite. Being young, some lack a bit of experience, but are keen to learn and to please.
The spa facilities are first class as are the staff. We took a four-day package of treatments: pampered to bits for a very reasonable price.
The hotel isn't on the beach but little more than 5 minutes on foot or 1 minute (and 50 cents) by orange cab.
I can't imagine a nicer experience in Agadir - or elsewhere.

The Riad Villa Blanche opened for business in February, and it is evident that there are still some teething problems.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, from the entrance at the front door to all the public areas. The bedrrom was absolutley 1st class with all the facilities that you would expect-beautiful bathroom with separate walk in shower and jacuzzi bath, separate WC (unusual nowadays) and walk in wardrobe. The only complaint would be that some of the rooms (1/3 approx) look over and are closely overlooked by a residential area-the remaining have either a sea view or look over the nearby hotel but at sufficient distance away.
We were greeted with a welcoming Kir Royale which was a most welcome touch at 7.30 in the evening. The bar and restaurant areas are once again beautifully decorated.
We dined in the restaurant 1 night. Although it was experimenting with a Degustation menu we settled for 2 courses. The food was reasonable, with the prices high for Agadir. Personlly I am not convinced that the residents will want this type of menu.
The outside pool are is very limited, which is understandable as it only caters for 28 rooms-we normally stay in the Sofitel and are therefore spoilt with this type of facility.
Finally-one complaint-we left an adaptor in our room when we left and relocated to the Sofitel which is only 500metres away-we were kindly dropped down by Florent the manager. The adaptor was found and left in reception, where it was when I called to see if it had been found. The Riad is charging top market rates for Agadir and I would have expected that they would have dropped it down to our new hotel.
Overall-well worth the experience

A truly beautiful building with thoughtful details throughout. The staff were by far the best part of this place — especially in the pool area and café, where they were incredibly attentive and made us feel all our needs were taken care of. The housekeeping and room service staff were outstanding. It was also very charming to have a turtle, cats, and a dog at the hotel. The dog was super sweet and gentle.

However, we did react to the fact that all hotel information and menus were only available in French. There was also very little Moroccan food offered on the restaurant menu, which we found disappointing. Prices were quite steep, both in the restaurant and the spa. We ended up ordering food to the hotel on the days we dined in.

The hotel is located off the beaten path, within walking distance of the beach (about 10 minutes), but there are no cafés or restaurants nearby. You’ll need a car or taxi to get around.

Par contre vu le prix des chambres le petit dejeuner dervait etre inclus..18 euros en supplement avec du thé en sachet de \"casino\"...vraiment dommage vu le standing que veut proposer cet hotel..les chambres en bord de route sont bruyante...j ai changé avec un supplément pour une chambre au calme. Restaurant excellent mais un peu cher. Malgre tout un bon sejour mais je ne reviendrais pas.

We loved our nights here at the riad. Beautiful architecture and really serene atmosphere. Breakfast was tasty. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, which was delicious as well. Staff was very nice. Great with both the indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Overall a very cute and lovely stay. The only things that were a little bit annoying was maybe the distance to the city center - it was a bit far to walk to restaurants and other places. But it just made us stay and enjoy more time at the hotel.

Nous avons globalement passé un bon séjour malgré un gros point noir, le burkini est interdit à la piscine et au spa.
Nous trouvons toujours ça désolant dans un pays musulman de refuser le burkini pour le regard des autres, uniquement pour ce point nous ne pensons pas revenir dans ce riad.

Notre accueil a été excellent, avec un personnel très a l'écoute, disponible et surtout compétent.
Seul bémol, une réservation faites par l'hôtel au restaurant La Scala ou nous n'avons finalement pas pu diner car ils sont tout simplement très mal organisés et ne prête absolument pas attention aux clients.
Mis à part ce problème, notre séjour à été parfait.

Hotel très joli mais...

La villa blanche est un hôtel très cosy a taille humaine. La décoration y est très réussie dans un style typiquement marocain et le spa est très joli.
Le personnel est très serviable et s’exécute rapidement mais cela ne peut masquer les problèmes suivants:
- Ménage dans la douche très sommaire (le reste de la chambre était propre): cheveux restants, serviettes changées mais sales...
- Insonorisation inexistante (simple vitrage ??). Les boites de nuit environnantes se font entendre toute la nuit le weekend et les conversations des chambres voisines sont audibles tout comme le bruit du trafic si vous avez une chambre côté route.
- Mobilier de piscine à remplacer, il a fait son temps.

Pour avoir séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels a Agadir ces 20 dernières années si la villa blanche fait un effort sur les 3 points cités ci-dessus ils seraient largement numéro un (surtout l'isolation!). A l'heure actuelle je leur préfère le Riu Tikida Palace et le Sofitel Thalassa Sea & Spa.
