Room was great outside was a bit messy but obviously they are getting ready for the start of the new season. Only issue was having to wait till 3 o’clock to get into the room which was a pain because we arrived at the 10.30 and had absolutely nowhere to wait so had to find somewhere in town which wasn’t convenient.

We loved the breakfast, which was different than any place we have ever stayed. Basically you pick whatever you would like; pastries, toast, eggs, meats, cheeses, juices, coffee, and make your own. The kitchen is excellent and always available. This was so convenient!

The pool and pool area are very nice, and although we didn't use it, this would be great for kids.

The entire facility is kept really clean.

Although it is not located either on the beach or directly in town it is really convenient to either, and there is a large grocery store about 150 yards away. We walked every single day and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Alvor, I think, is one of the best towns to stay at in this part of the Algarve. The town center, unlike many other places we visited, seems like something that preceded tourism, in that it is located right on the river and has character, but with tons of shopping, bars and restaurants, but it is small enough to get to know. Really a lovely town.

We had the Master Suite and it was huuuuge. The room was clean and it also had a big balcony. The continental breakfast was great. A lot of options and you could also make your own eggs in the kitchen. No complaints, our stay was perfect.

Great place to stay only 10 mins walk to town centre , about 6 different apartments that sleep 3-4 people each'
Nice Pool & Sunlounge area, great breakfast selection & super hosts in a quiet side street with a few local bars &eateries & supermarket a few minutes walk away,
whats not to like? One of the best places i have ever stayed in.

The property is located in a great place, close to restaurants and the beach. Check-in was a little frustrating as the keys were not in the box as per the instructions but management rectified the situation within 15-20 minutes from arrival. Cooking area has a real bad smell of moth balls that permeate the rooms and clothing when in there too long.

Really enjoyable weekend in a spacious, comfortable room looking onto the pleasant garden/pool area. Great continental breakfast spread and an amazingly equipped enormous kitchen available for guests who wished to cook or attend to laundry. Only minutes from an Intermarche supermarket and an easy walk into the original village area of Alvor, which is teeming with restaurants and bars. Also easy access to the beach and interesting cliff walks. Ticked all my boxes!

We stayed just one night in their smallest room in this residential area. Everything went smoothly with checking in and out. Did not have more than a hello from the owner but not more was needed. Off street parking was very nice. A nice pool and breakfast. It was simple and good.

Clean comfortable stay with breakfast in Alvor

Summer cascade is a great location, 2 minute walk to grocery and several restaurants and a reasonable 10 min walk to the main restaurant/barb corridor and 20 min walk to the beach/boardwalk. it offers a common room dining area with continental breakfast and access to kitchen so you can prepare your own meals. Very social with other guests. Secured parking and outdoor pool are welcome amenities. Our unit (“pool view”) was a self contained modular house with two very small bedrooms, kitchenette and living area. The space is tight but functional. Twin beds seem to the norm in Europe. Great pubs and restaurants in this town

Check-in was not easy, saw another guests also struggled so I helped.
I also did not receive the VIP gift (a bottle of wine?)
The breakfast was a little disappointing, I chose this location since guests commented good breakfast, but mostly carbs and no hot items.
The lady that works there was nice (just no English at all)

Alvor View family loft

We stayed in the 2 bedroom loft apartment. It is a very compact space and did not come as a surprise as the photos on the website show. We were only staying for 4 days so it was perfect. Its an ideal location close to everything, continental breakfast is also included from 8-11 and tea and coffee available all the time. The pool area was quiet so no problem with sunbeds. The host Lucibela went above and beyond for us. My 73 year old mother with reduced mobility was with us and when we arrived early to drop the bags Victoria made a call to Lucibela and we were given our apartment early. It was such a lovely gesture and my mother was able to have a lie down after our travel to Alvor. I cannot praise them enough. My mother was a late addition to the trip so I didn't check what accessibility would be like but she managed the ramps and one flight of stairs fine with her crutch.

I recently stayed at this holiday apartment and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the onsite parking was fantastic, and the keypad entry system was straightforward, making access easy. The room itself was nice and comfortable, although it would have been helpful to have a full-length mirror since the only one available was in the bathroom. The bed was quite comfortable, and the Easter chocolates were a thoughtful touch that added a bit of charm to our stay.

However, there were a few drawbacks that impacted our overall experience. I had a bit of a scare while using the toilet, as it wasn’t firmly fixed to the floor. Additionally, we weren’t made aware that there would be no housekeeping during our stay. I noticed a washing machine in the communal kitchen but didn't realise we were expected to wash our own towels.

Another point of confusion was regarding the amenities. Calling the area labeled as a “gym” a gym is a bit of a stretch; I have just as much gym equipment in my spare room! Furthermore, the ‘jacuzzi’ was misnamed—it was actually a hot tub, and the pool looked dirty and likely just needed some chlorine.

On a brighter note, there was plenty of choice for breakfast, which was appreciated. Overall, while the apartment had its perks, I believe some clearer communication and improvements in maintenance could significantly enhance the guest experience

5 Stars – Exceptional Stay at Summer Cascade Alvor!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Aparts & Suites Summer Cascade in Alvor. The host couple was unbelievable—so warm, welcoming, and attentive, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The rooms were clean, cosy, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the self-service continental breakfast—fresh and well stocked every morning.

The facilities were top-notch, with a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi, plenty of secure parking, and a very safe, peaceful environment. A special touch that meant so much to us was how they treated our kids—they received Easter eggs and colouring books, which made their stay even more memorable.

Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for getaway!

Beautiful rooms and amazing staff!

The staff at this hotel are amazing! They are so helpful, so friendly, so welcoming! The first day we arrived they immediately helped us settle in. Showed us the beautiful premises and gave us some info about the area, where to eat etc. the lady was so sweet, she was always engaging our kids and even gave them beautiful colouring books which my kids loved. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the parking is easy, safe and free. The area is very walkable and close to a lot of attractions. The room is big and comfortable, we had a huge bed and big sofa bed. There is a really great communal kitchen which you can also eat in. I highly recommend staying here. This place was a highlight of our trip.

Definitely recommend this place.

The place was amazing, great location superb room and lovely staff. It is a family run business and they really know how to look after you. After we checked out they still helped us out looking after bags and had a shower and toilet to use after the pool. The room we got wasn't the one we booked, it felt like an upgrade. It was huge walk in wardrobe the lot. I'll happily stay here again we had no problems at all.

We had a lovely stay. Owners were really friendly and accommodating. Situated in a great location just a couple of minutes walk to main strip. Pool was great, nice and quiet. Added bonus of continental breakfast which was convenient. Everywhere was so clean and tidy.
I would return in a heartbeat but not to the room we had unfortunately. We booked a family room which is great for families but not for 2 adults. The bedroom was really small and was lots of space in areas we didn’t use. 3 Doors all opening into each other. It had a nice outside space though.

We stayed in the master suite which had a king size bedand two other sofa beds within the main room. Bathroom had a bath/shower combo and a seperate shower, 2 sinks, and a toilet in a adjourning room. TV with basic cable and above the ground floor so did need to carry luggage up stairs. A private terrace was available and also got a lot of sunshine through the day for sunbathing.
Overall experience was great. Friendly staff who were on hand to support with uae of the kitchen and other amenities.
10-15 minutes walk from Alvor beach, and very close to a convenient supermarket. Being a tourist town there is also quite a few bars, resturants, and snack bars within 15mins walk in the center of town. Would visit again.

Amazing place!

I recently stayed in an incredible loft in Alvor, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The space was absolutely amazing—spacious, modern, and equipped with air-conditioning, which made the warm days super comfortable. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious free breakfast, which was a great way to start the day.

The property also featured a lovely pool and jacuzzi, both perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. There was plenty of space to unwind, and it never felt crowded. The highlight of our stay, though, was the owners. They were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. Their hospitality truly made our trip special.

If you’re looking for a place in Alvor, I highly recommend this loft. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and fantastic service!

Received access instruction via whatsapp and offer of support. Luckily the host was at the gate when we arrived so showed us to our suite. Bedroom and en-suite. With lovely fresh smelling bedding and towels. Lots of extra bedcovers but none needed. We stayed in Estrela and it has it's own private terrace with loungers and a picnic table but literally 10 seconds to the pool. Pool area clean and fresh looking. Plenty of loungers and seating. A communal kitchen is always open and the breakfast room is open 7-11. Help yourself to bread, cheeses, meat spreads, pastries and fruit and yoghurt. Tea and coffee all day. You have your own fridge in bedroom for your own supplies. 3 minutes walk to large supermarket and bars and restaurants of Alvor centre. Small, intimate property with low key hosts who are always happy to help.

This place is so cute..Easy self check-in. … Lucy Bela is amazing… So caring and responds to all messages very quickly. The only problem it was that the drain in the shower was clogged up and there was no one to fix it and showering it was very difficult because we had to keep shutting the shower off to avoid a flood and the bathroom was filled with live and dead bugs .

The roof top cabin was nice. For someone who is 1,90 m tall, like me, the toilett can just be used with an open door 😂 since the stall is so small.
Nevetheless the owners are very friendly and allowed us to check in earlier.

A experiência começou um pouco confusa no check-in, com informações desencontradas e falta de clareza inicial. No entanto, depois disso, o atendimento foi cordial e prestativo. É importante destacar que o local funciona mais como um hostel do que um hotel propriamente dito, e o quarto em que nos hospedamos era bastante pequeno. Por outro lado, o café da manhã foi um ponto alto da estadia — bem servido e com boas opções.

Mobilhome sur une terrasse !

Appart hôtel , avec un très bel emplacement et literie très confortable . Accès piscine et jacuzzi et parking gratuit très pratique . Le moins chambre familial en préfabriqué sur la terrasse , comme un mobilhome , très serré , portés qui se choquent on reste coincé , porte chambre qui grince , aucune isolation ou intimité surtout au wc ! Ces chambres familiales ne sont pas représentées sur les photos et non décrites sur le site comme tel . Ça fait m affaire 2-3 jours mais pas plus .le petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur ! Des croissants portugais seraient un plus … pas assez de lait à disposition et de jus de fruits , bref autant enlever du tarif et prendre un petit déjeuner dans les environs !

Juste un petit bémol sur les arrivées tardives bruyantes :-(
(c’est une maison et les murs sont peu étanche au bruit…dommage que ceux qui arrivent ne le comprennent pas)
Notre hôte était discret, disponible et entretien super bien les espaces communs 🙏🙏

Bel residence, l'appartamento per 4 persone non troppo grande ma accogliente. Il bagno piccolo ma con una doccia bellissima. Lo spazio comune benctenuto, bella la piccola piscina e piacevole l'idromassaggio. A disposizione degli ospiti la cucina in comune con un proprio armadietto con combinazione. La colazione varia e abbondante. Unica nota negativa per me è il doversi lavare i piatti e le posate della colazione o pranzo e cena. Preferirei una lavastoviglie dato che non si conoace la pulizia altrui. Unica nota negativa gli asciugamani avevan oun brutto odore. Per il resto perfetto

Nette Leute. Liegt an der Hauptstraße von Alvor. Das Apartment war preiswert aber es was ein Gartenhaus 4*8m mit 1 Küche, 1 “Wohnzimmer”, 2 “Schlafzimmer”, u. 2 Bäder!!! Kein Platz für Handgepäck im Schlafzimmer. Ein Traum für Minimalistische Ferien.
