Everyone in the hotel were great except the only girl bartender, she acted entitled and made me feel uncomfortable she stated that I had to adapt to her country and made it clear to me.

Great people, hated the girl bartender very arrogant and racist can’t believe she’s still working there. If she’s still there next time I will complain to the owner. Uire is wonderful and Jose excellent.

Es war zu laut in dem Hotel. Von der Rezeption und der Empfangshalle der Krach schallt durchs ganze Haus. Am Wochenende, sprich am Freitag und Samstag wurde bis in die Nacht rein gefeiert, so dass man nicht schlafen konnte.. Ich werde dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen.

I booked a twin room for a solo trip, but the hotel kindly changed it to a double bed at my request. I was also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room with a balcony and a view of the pool. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The resort is well located, close to the beach, with transport readily available for longer trips. I had everything I needed during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would consider coming back again.

Great friendly staff! The staff everywhere were friendly. Cleaners, people at the bar, restaurant, spa. The only downside i would say is at the spa the turkish bath needs a refurb. Also the gym for them to charge they should really have more equipment there n make it bigger. Paying 5 euros a day when u bought all inclusive is not ideal. Food wasnt great also. It was ok

The property was stunning, clean & gorgeous. The staff was great. Special shout out to Otilia for all her help getting my sister situated in my room. She's a lifesaver! Joanna: Great efforts on all your activities. I wish I had more time to participate but I was with the GSD Soccer group attending their functions. Nuno in the bar was fabulous too. The meal options were great as my husband LOVES fish & beer. He was very happy.

Only dislike that is consistent with other comments: Towels for the pool area. I'm glad I read that and packed accordingly.

The resort had nice amenities. The food was the same basically every day, which is fine but if you desire a wide variety, you will not get that.

The resort was very busy due to the festival going on, so my room was not properly cleaned daily. Towels weren't hung up, bed wasn't changed during my 5 nights I was there and the trash was ignored. I understand they get busy, but the staff should account for the fest and etc going on in the area.

The spa was nice but you can't do any services as a couple. That's a bummer and can take up a lot of your time.

If you need a taxi anywhere, schedule it immediately. Do not wait. Book your airport return service when you check in. The closet you get to your departure date, the more expensive it got. It shouldn't be that way, but that's what happened. There is an in house service that is a flat rate which good, but again book early! Use Uber and FreeNow as well.

The room is a good size. The mattress is terrible. Period. There's a small kitchen which makes it nice if you want to make your own snacks and etc.

Get to the pool early and claim your place. There's a bar outside too and entertainment. It can get loud and annoying so sit far away if that's not your thing.

Lovely relaxing stay. Hotel was modern and clean with large, spacious rooms. Swimming pool was huge with ample sunbeds. We stayed on a B&B basis and breakfast had everything you could ask for. I would most definitely return to this hotel.

Alvor Baia serious about cleanliness during pandem

Hotel was very clean all around. Staff was friendly and were amazing at breakfast. It’s a large breakfast room with many visitors but staff served everyone with a smile and were helpful. Breakfast was also of a very good quality and a lots of variety. They were also very efficient in getting everything organized and cleaned!

Sufficient for overnight stay

Comfortable hotel that’s actually an all inclusive resort. We only stayed for one night during a short trip to Faro from Lisbon to Seville, but found the hotel to have everything we needed. The room was clean, although the beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable. Wifi worked well and room was equipped with a small stove and microwave. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming with a lack of fresh fruit, mostly canned fruit.

Lovely hotel. Perfect for families. Would not recommend for young couples. Depending on room location it can take a long time to walk from reception to your room. Rooms are clean but are not refreshed in the same way. Dirty sheets are not replaced daily. Pillows are the worst I have ever had in a hotel, they are all lumpy. Wrist band policy is terrible. I can see the point for all inclusive but it’s ridiculous if you’re only getting bed and breakfast. You need to wear for the entire stay. They are horrible by the end! Plus everyone in the town knows where you are staying. Very off-putting.

The staff were helpful. Restaurants were good. There was a lot of food choices. Bars were always well stocked. The room was basic but clean, beds were hard. Shower was really good. The only thing this hotel lacked was adult entertainment. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday this is the place. Pool and grounds are fantastic. It’s about 15/20 minute walk into the village which was really nice.

Good Hotel but very overcrowded

The rooms are quite basic for a modern hotel with a pull out sofa bed which is rock hard to sleep on and very uncomfortable to sit on . The twin beds are also quite hard .There are two flat screen Tv’s in each room but the reception on them are awful and fuzzy. There is a microwave in the room which looks like it’s about 30 years old and it wouldn’t entice you to use it.The bathroom was the best part of the room and had a fantastic shower.The pool
is huge and very family friendly but trying to get a sunbed is like a lottery unless you are up at the dawn. On the plus side of things this hotel has fantastic entertainment for both adults and kids with the animation team excellent . The food is also very good and the all inclusive drinks are served at the pool bar only which can have long queues but move quickly.We found the staff to be very friendly and on check out as we had a late flight we could use the all inclusive for the remainder of the day which was a nice touch . We found all the common areas spotless and well looked after ... Would we stay here again probably but if the hotel made a few changes with the rooms and the pool area a lot more people would recommend this hotel to there friends .

Really nice resort hotel. Rooms are large & clean, great shower. Food was good, although not much choice for vegetarians.
Smoking was allowed anywhere outside, this should be restricted to designated areas as not pleasant for non smokers when sitting by the pool.
The tennis paddle courts were charged at €20 an hour! This should be included and is not mentioned anywhere in the resort description. We felt this was too much to pay per hour, it appears so did everyone else as they were always empty!
As a family we had a good stay and I would return.

Great hotel for all weathers

The hotel was well positioned with a free shuttle bus to the beach, including a free return to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and able to sort out any requests we had, from cleaning our room to getting a taxi to any destination. A handsome amount of leaflets were displayed in the reception of activities in the local area. Food was very nice and very family friendly.

With a few tweaks this hotel could be excellent ,the biggest pool I have ever seen! Rooms/ beds spacious and comfortable,lack of tea making facilities in the room frustrating and puzzling since there is a kitchen ,food good overall but the dining experience dissapointment ,due to the noisy ,school dinner hall atmosphere ,absolutely no chance of a quite relaxed dinner for two ,nowhere to eat outside ,they wouldn't even let you take snacks outside and policed it robustly ,a dedicated smoking area would improve things for us since smokers outside everywhere ,lnconsiderate,and ,just throwing cigarette ends on the floor,the staff were hard working and charming,the services of a good architect and a small refurb spend could improve the dining rooms hugely and perhaps provide some outside dining space

Lovely hotel 10 mins walk to town 15 mins to beach

Lovely hotel, food was amazing could not fault it.
My only moan is you had to pay for the gym and there was only 2 running machines, 1 cross trainer ,1 bike and a few weights. Also in the spa they class children of 12 years as adults and charge adult prices. Other than that brilliant Hotel and would recommend.

Wir können uns absolut nicht beklagen. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und sehr sauber. Das Essen war im Rahmen einer Halbpension reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und sehr schmackhaft.
Wer die Entfernung zum Strand von nur 1,5km bemängelt, sollte auch dazuschreiben, dass ein hoteleigener Bus von 09-18 Uhr annähernd stündlich zwischen Hotel und Strand pendelt.
Es gibt einen riesigen Pool. Zusätzlich gibt es auch einen kleineren Pool für Kleinkinder.
Animation und Abendprogramm haben wir nicht genutzt und möchten und deshalb kein Urteil erlauben.

Einziger Wermutstropfen ... Es war verboten, Freunden das Hotel und das Zimmer zu zeigen. Unsere Freunde wurden durch den Sicherheitsdienst wieder vom Gelände geführt. Die Situation hat uns etwas verwirrt, da wir so etwas auf all unseren Reisen noch nie erlebt hatten.

Superbe hotel moderne très bien tenu.
Bien situé pour découvrir l'Algarve.
Le personnel est souriant et accueillant. La chambre/studio est spacieuse avec un grand balcon, la literie est correcte. Le ménage est effectué tous les matins.
La nourriture des restaurants est de qualité et variée.
Points négatifs : durant notre séjour, les jours de la semaine un seul restaurant ouvert au lieu de deux le weekend, beaucoup trop de bruit. Est-il nécessaire de mettre de la musique ?
La salle de sport est en supplément et accessible uniquement à partir de 9h30 : inadmissible pour un 4 étoiles.
Les chambres sont impersonnelles et manquent de décoration.

Repetimos visita a un hotel que nos había encantado en la anterior ocasión con la incertidumbre que el paso de los años hubiera hecho efecto en la calidad del alojamiento. Nada más lejos de la realidad. Un correcto mantenimiento y una atención agradable en un hotel con una inmensa piscina hacen del Hotel un lugar estupendo para descansar/desconectar. No descartamos, pasados unos años, volver a repetir.

El hotel es muy grande, las habitaciones están genial pero los colchones no son muy buenos. Fuimos con todo incluido y el buffet ha estado bien y variado, incluso una noche hubo barbacoa. Hay una bar en la piscina donde puedes pedir bebidas durante todo el día, y a media mañana y a la hora de la merienda también hay un pequeño picoteo en la zona de restaurante. Como la capacidad del hotel es tan elevada, en temporada alta debe ser horrible pero en octubre se estaba estupendamente.

El hotel está bien, pero no cuida los detalles. Los accesorios de aseo personal de la habitación escasos, solo un gel multiusos con un dispensador en la ducha y un jabón de manos.
Ni un bolígrafo y una hoja de papel para poder escribir algo.
El buffet estaba aceptable. Sin mucha variedad pero buena calidad.
La estancia me ha parecido cara para los servicios en general.
El Spa caro para el tipo de instalación.
Resumen, bien pero puede mejorar

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour
Hôtel magnifique. Les chambres sont bien insonorisées, juste pensez à mettre des tampons ou rajouter embout pied plastique pour les chaises pour le bruit de trainage de chaise. Lit confortable. Terrasse agréable. Je n'est jamais vu de piscine aussi grande!!!! On a très bien manger. Il y a de tout. On peut facilement changer de repas tous les jours. Mais y a toujours des ouins ouins!!

Hotel ist in Ordnung. Sehr kleines Spa ist nicht inklusive und für 15,- pP völlig überteuert. Restaurant ist iO aber nichts besonderes. Restaurant ist sehr sehr laut. Service an sich iO aber es wird teils abgeräumt, wenn man noch isst.
