While they have an electric car charger, it didn't work for my car. The front desk could not assist. They offer no pool/beach towels. Sheets are not changed daily, but they simply make the beds and take out the garbage. The pool has no lifeguards.

Lovely stay. A little surprised by some of the property condition. Parts of the hotel and our room seemed very outdated, most notably by the yellow tint on the\"once white\" fridge and other home appliances and a +20 y/old TV, which wasn't very well depicted. However, breakfast was nice. Dinner not great, so we ate out every night after our first dinner at the hotel. Overall very happy for this stay. Good value for money.

Accessibility - The hotel property is fully wheelchair accessible, however may be difficult for a wheelchair user travelling solo as the ramps are really quite steep, some doors are not automatic and the entrance doesn’t have a lowered kerb nearby, however if you go to the right of the entrance there is a lowered kerb at the garage.

The pool has wheelchair access via a steep ramp around the back of the pool bar. At the bottom there is a “half pipe” style dip (I think designed for having water in to clean feet, but it was empty) and this is immediately before the gate which you need your card to open. This personally was too much for me to manage alone, so I would be unable to use the pool as solo traveller unless I asked for help - which I am sure they would gladly do!

The villa entrance ramps are the same, too steep for a solo wheelchair traveller, but again the staff would be more than happy to assist.

The apartment we had was a one bedroom and it was very spacious! The door holds itself open once fully open which is handy for wheelchair users. The doors are all wide enough for wheelchairs and there is ample room to move around in the living space, bedroom
and balcony which is really quite rare! The bathroom we had was not wheelchair accessible purely because the door opened in to the room, if it opened outwards, it could be made in to a disabled bathroom fairly easily. The balcony was wheelchair accessible with a small but manageable bump up on the way back in.

Firstly I must praise the friendly staff at this hotel special mention to Fatima on reception. Spotlessly clean everywhere, spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. OK it's a little bit remote and a car would be an advantage but not a must. Ubers only 3-5 euros into Alvor. I'm certain I will return a very relaxing and peaceful holiday. Thanks Vitor's Plaza!

Cold shower and other minor unpleasant things

We had issues with hot water in shower which was limited time. After few minutes it got cold. We had to wait a long tim for the hot water to come back again. They send a plumber but didn't resolve the problem. On our last day they offered us to change the apartment. There was no bathtub unfortunately. Bathroom was a bit mouldy. No dishwasher or washing machine in the apartment. The bed was good but only 2 pillows. We had been provided with a free baby cot and 10% off the first dinner which was nice. The swimming pool area with jacuzzi was pleasant.

Decent family apartment style. Not close to beach.

A basic apartment style set up. It was clean and decent in condition. No complaints. Staff was friendly except for the bar personnel who seemed to have an attitude that I was bothering them with sparkling water requests. Lots of families with children. Decent grounds. No services around so you will have to have a car/uber/taxi. Average uber cost was 5-10 euros to get anywhere.

We were using the hotel as a home base while we travelled the Algarve looking at possible long stay vacations locations. Restaurant in the hotel was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Hotel pool bar servedlunch.Tuck store available on property for small items, bread,coffe,fruit etc. Units are set up as condo's with complete kitchen ,living in room and one or two bedrooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Unit we were in had furniture that was functional but tired. Large outdoor pool and smaller indoor pool. Good restaurants a short cab ride away. Hop-off bus stop at property entrance.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Portimao. No local shops, short drive away to most shopping centres and beaches. The pool gets very busy and accommodates mainly young familes. The hotel has all the amenities. We stayed half board, with the menu dispalyed in advance, good food & service in the restaurant. Overall an enjoyable stay in an apartment which was basically self sufficient.

Beautiful property with a spacious apartment and comfortable bed. I feel though that they aren't sure if they are a hotel or an apart-hotel. The kitchen had the basics, but no coffee filters for the machine, no disk soap or dish cloth. I hadn't brought these things and the mini market on site is closed on Sundays. The rooms are not insulated at all so we could hear the neighbors around us and every noise in the hallway. The floors were not very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall for the price I feel like it was a good value, I just wish they had communicated that I needed my own supplies for doing dishes.

We stayed here for 3 nights as we were attending a wedding in Alvor. The rooms are really nice. They are clean, spacious and have a good quality finish. The hotel has a calm, secure atmosphere. We spent the first day chilling around the pool and there were plenty of available sun beds (not sure how it would be during school holidays). The bar is next to the pool and prices are reasonable.

I'd definitely go back with the full family, they have a kids club during the day. The only downside as far as I could see is the location as it is quite far away and you need a 5-10 minute taxi ride to get anywhere. We used Uber a lot which was really cheap.

Lovely place for a relaxing holidays

Very nice aparthotel, located just between Portimão and Alvor, 5 mins drive from all the local beaches and Portimão city centre.
The double room was very tidy and spacious with plenty of storage space.
The lounge was massive and very comfortable including sattelite TV, and a sofa bed that could accommodate two extra guests. Full equiped kitchen and large balcony.

The common area were very nice and welcoming, large swimming pool, free gym, tennis court and play areas.
Also has a nice bar and restaurant and staff were always friendly and welcoming.

The only down side was the hot water cylinder that after two showers would take a while to heat the water again, but didn't affect our stay at all.

A reasonable hotel, but room for some improvements

Although we had a great holiday and the staff were really helpful and friendly the hotel was a little too far out for us, requiring quite a few taxis which raised the cost of our holiday especially as we were a party of 12. The other disappointment was the general cleanliness of the whole place and the cleaning of our room as the floors were not washed down all the time we were there. We had marks on the balcony that were left by the previous occupants. There was however a mop and bucket provided and so i assume the expectation was you did it yourself!! Some of our party though didnt have any complaints in this area as the cleaning of their appartment was very good. My other observation was that the evening entertainment area was very dingy and underground with no natural light which did not encourage people to go there, which is a shame as Anna who served behind the bar was lovely. we did not see much of the entertainment and so cannot comment on this. The food in the hotel was okish, but not a lot of choice if you went for the breakfast and evenng buffet.

Arrived early but room was ready and made available. Reception staff overall were efficient and friendly and facilities were sufficient for our stay and as described on the Expedia website. Hotel is slightly remote being between Alvor and Portimao, with nearest Restaurant around 200m away. We had a car so not a great problem, but Alvor is not within stumbling distance for night owls. Cabs cost 5 or 6 Euros to/from Alvor. Pool area was busy during our stay including some fun activities provided by entertainment staff, but only what can be expected for July and good for the kids. Only gripe relates to the morning ritual of having to queue at the gate to the pool for sun beds that was not opened until 9.30. A race then resulted! This is not helped by some people putting their towels down and not returning for several hours meaning some late comers went without. A Lifeguard or Pool Supervisor would help by removing towels on beds not used for say one hour max as does happen at some other resort Hotels. Air conditioning in room was good and much needed as weather was very hot during our stay.

My family and I spent three days at Vitor's. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Our only complaint was the TV. There were only a few channels and none were in English. I didn't go to sit in my room and watch TV so it wasn't a big deal for me but my son would have liked to have been able to watch TV. Other than that everything was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked this hotel purely because it had an indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool as we were going the end of March so I wasn't expecting too much as it was really reasonably priced.
I was really impressed with almost everything in the hotel. The apartments were really big and had everything we needed, the staff were so lovely, the indoor poll was great (my children loved this), the outdoor pool was massive and although we didn't use it (the weather was too cold) it was very inviting and my 6 year old braved the cold and actually dipped a foot in.
We used the mini golf a couple of times, the children's play area and the games room, all which were a great way to keep the children entertained.
The gym was a bit of a let down, and after looking at it we didn't use it, as was the restaurant, the menu was a little bit limited but the food was ok, we used the restaurant once and the snack bar once - both ok if you don't want to cook or go anywhere but I wouldn't make a point of using it but that's just us.
The location is brilliant if you have a car as Alvor is beautiful and the restaurants are brilliant and really reasonably priced.
i would defiantly stay here again and would defiantly say you will have a lovely stay at this hotel.

We enjoyed the apartment and the pool area. We never used the restaurant or bar as we always cooked our own fish and supplied our own wine. The area is very affordable for groceries, the market great and very economical for fresh fish and wonderful fruits and veggies, especially the big half green tomatoes (the most succulent tomatoes ever) and everything is central to the hotel. The kitchen could be better equipped but we got by ok we a few purchases ie: cheese grader. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Maria and Fatima. We are not able to access the rest of the survey as the site won't let us in. The place is clean but the beds are not comfortable. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at Vitors.

Lovely hotel.

We only managed a 5 night stay at this lovely hotel but, we loved it.
From the impressive frontage, reception area (& staff) to our apartment Room no; B-008.
We were well impressed. We opened the curtains the next morning to glorious sunshine.
Perfect start to the holiday! Spent all day in & around the beautiful pool - despite all the
many invitations to join in with all the activities offered.
Back to the apartment at 4pm where we were delighted to find the sun shining, right until
sundown. Beautiful. We didn't take advantage of the courtesy bus; instead we took a taxi
into town for the evening. There are plenty of bars/restaurants to suit most tastes.
The hotel snack bar had plenty choices at reasonable prices. Buffet breakfast was good.

Two bed self catering apartment was very comfortable and clean with good facilities. Friendly staff and family friendly hotel. A few km from nearest big chain supermarket but taxi back was inexpensive (6 euros i think). Free bus to beach and can get to waterpark but need to book day before travel. Onside supermarket is very useful and stocks most essentials. A little more expensive than local supermarket but probably only by about 5-10% depending on item (more expensive being UK branded items). Fun games room with pinball, table tennis,pool, and a few arcade games. Swimming pool large and clean with very nice toddler pool. Kids play area a little run down but usable. Plenty of sun loungers but if hotel is full might be tricky to get a cushion for some. All in all a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, the staff on reception were not very helpful in explaining how to get places by Public Transport.

Nearest bars and restaraunts are in Alvor or Praia de Roche approximately a 40 minute walk in the heat with a baby buggy or a 6 euro cab journey. Usually walked there - cab return.

Alvor and Praia de Roche are great. Lovely beaches

all in all hotel is lovely but its a bit off the beaten track and you have to taxi everywhere. shuttle to beach returns latest at 3.30pm so if you want to stay longer you need a taxi, supermarket in hotel doesnt open on a sunday which was very bad for new arrivals. its also expensive as it has a captured audience as you need to taxi to the nearest supermarket to get neccessities. its missing a nice bar to have a drink in the evening on the terrace, the bar downstairs is dark and dingy.

Great Place for the Price

Vitor's Plaza is really quite a nice place. Outside of the loose bathtup fixture and the inconvenient location of the toilet (in a bit crowded space) things were pretty nice. It is one of the most spacious rooms that we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The front desk clerks were always very polite and as helpful as they could be. I would like to see them renovate their garden golf area. It has only 7 holes and is not very challenging compared to most. That aside, the location was perfect for making day trips east, west , and north along the coast. The TV screen is very small, but unless you came to just sit in the room, that probably does not matter to most folks. I believe it was about a 14\" screen. I would recommend it to anyone and would return. Lots of children and families in the pool and the quiet hours at night in the hotel were very nice. Enjoy your trip. :- )

Solsängarna var hemska, totalt utslitna. Trodde poolen skulle vara uppvärmd. Inga handdukar som ingick till poolen, även på rummet fick man inte tillräckligt med handdukar.

Das Hotel macht insgesamt einen gemischten Eindruck. Das Frühstück war mir persönlich zu englisch geprägt und es fehlte etwas an Abwechslung. Auch das Abendessen konnte mich nicht wirklich überzeugen – teilweise war es leider kalt und eher fade gewürzt. Sehr positiv hervorheben möchte ich den Pool, der wirklich super ist. Allerdings halten sich viele Gäste nicht an die dort geltenden Regeln, was den Aufenthalt etwas stört.

Ein weiterer Nachteil ist die Lage: Das Hotel liegt recht weit vom Zentrum entfernt, ohne Auto ist man hier ziemlich verloren. Sehr loben möchte ich aber das Personal – durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Insgesamt also Stärken beim Service und Pool, aber Schwächen bei Küche und Lage.

C'était bien et l'extérieur était accueillant mais les appartements n'étaient pas aussi propre et bien entretenus que souhaité. Le sofa était très sale et nous avons dû mettre une couverture pour que les enfants puissent y jouer. C'est 3 1/2 étoiles pour nous. Personnel très charmant et accueillant.

Good a lil above average standard considering all amenities available at the hotel. Incl laundry services, full equipped pantry and kitchen, indoor and outdoor pools. Playing and arcade areas and a lil shop. Breakfast buffé just average. Appreciated the fresh fruits. Overall a good place with easy excess if you have your own car. Could be cleaner and good if pool towels were incl into your roomcost.

Todo correcto, muy bien equipado el apartamento, con 2 aires acondicionado uno en la sala y otro en la habitacion. Todo muy limpio, buena ducha. Piscina muy amplia, sala de juegos muy chula. Un lugar muy acogedor.

Wonderful stay, would recommend

Wonderful stay here! We kept extending our stay because the room was so comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped, shower was big, and hotel had lots of activities to keep us busy. Most importantly as I was working remotely during my stay: internet was fast!
