This hotel turned out to be a delightful little gem. The rooms are small but very comfortable and quiet. The location was convenient. The atmosphere felt very traditional, charming and well, British. But the best part was the staff- from the front desk to the bellmen to the waiter in the restaurant, they each had a lovely way of making us feel taken care of during our brief stay.

Everything about our little trip to London was absolutely wonderful! We had such an amazing time, but the most special part of our stay was truly the staff. Every single person we met was so warm, kind, and genuinely lovely to talk to — and the attention to detail was simply exceptional.

As we were visiting to see Florence + The Machine for my birthday, we were already so excited — but the thoughtful surprises made it even more unforgettable. I was so pleasantly surprised to find a lovely little birthday cake waiting in our room, which was such a kind and unexpected touch. Then, to top it all off, the team printed a photo of Florence and left us a sweet message in our room while we were at the gig, wishing us a wonderful time and reminding us they were there if we needed anything. It was such a personal and thoughtful gesture, and it truly meant so much.

The room, amenities, and breakfast were all absolutely fantastic, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you so much for making my birthday trip so special — we genuinely can’t wait to come back and stay again!

A wonderful 2 night stay in a very special hotel. The staff could not have been anymore accommodating. We loved every second. Stunning Christmas decorations everywhere we looked. The room was beautiful, bed very comfortable and luxury bedding. Location is perfect and right on the middle of where we wanted to be. Looking forward to returning.

The Chesterfield Mayfair has become my favorite place to stay at when I am in London. I’ve been here 3 times in the last two years. It’s centrally located. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. But day keeps me coming back is the exceptional service from the staff of the hotel. They are very accommodating to all your needs. It’s nice to see the same staff time after time. The Chesterfield Mayfair has become my home away from home.

A wonderful place to stay

Totally worth the money - I felt so comfortable and pampered. Great neighborhood to walk around. The staff is wonderful - the room is great. Comfortable bed, great towels and amenities. Bathroom is great. Tea and cookies in the room - more cookies every night. I don't usually stay in better hotels but i'm so glad we splurged for this.

A beautiful classic traditional English hotel

I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect classic English hotel in a great location.....the Chesterfield really checked those boxes. Mayfair is a really beautiful area of London. We spent 3 nights when we arrived in England and then 3 weeks later we spent 3 more nights before we went home. The Chesterfield is a perfect English experience.

The Chesterfield is an excellent find in Mayfair. The concierge staff were very responsive to my advance questions and requests. The front reception staff were very helpful at our check in and also to our needs through the week. The bar staff were happy and social. Our rooms were decorated well and the beds were comfortable. Location is a short walk to Green Park station, close to Hyde Park, Grosvenor Square and Berkley Square. We were very happy with our stay.

Hidden away comfortable gem.

The Chesterfield hotel was tucked away down a quiet street ten minutes walk from Green Park tube station and a good half hour walk to Oxford Street.
The hotel was very traditional in its surroundings.
Staff were attentive and friendly on the reception and at breakfast.
We had The Afternoon Tea of which I was disappointed with as I am gluten free and thought they could have done better but my granddaughters afternoon tea selection looked fantastic.
The room was small at the back of the hotel but very clean and beds were very comfortable with large soft pillows.
Overall a lovely stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone whom wanted to pay a little extra money for that traditional touch in service.

What they sell as a junior suite is just a regular room. We were next to a room undergoing refurbishment and so the corridor had paint thinner smell, and there was drilling in the morning. The air conditioner was quite weak and my request for maintenance for dismissed by maintenance. Overall not good value for money
