The staff were unfriendly and weirdly insisted on having photo ID for Uk citizens ( which I didn’t have. ) The room was tired with battered furniture and the most rudimentary of hospitality trays.

We were unable to book the breakfast on the Hotels App when I booked. Having eaten this morning, we then found out it was nearly £50 for the 2 breakfasts! I have never had such an expensive breakfast in my life.

Our room was clean, but the catch on the window was loose, which left a gap, so we heard the traffic noise in the night. If only we'd realised before we went to bed, but it was too late to ask for a different room by then.
The hotel was clean, but not a good value breakfast

I’m so excited to finally write this review! It took me a little longer because I lost the concierge’s card, and I’m terrible with names—I believe his name was Rashid. I hate not being sure how to spell it, but he truly saved my stay in London.
I was in the city for just one night to attend a gala event for the Design et al Awards. Unfortunately, the airline lost my luggage with absolutely everything in it—my gala dress, shoes, makeup, everything! When I arrived at the hotel, I had only a couple of hours before the event. I walked in, explained what had happened (while crying like a baby), and Rashid immediately stepped in to help.
He encouraged me to go up to my room, wash my face, and not give up. He even lent me a phone charger, gave me directions to the nearest stores, and reminded me not to let this ruin my opportunity to receive an award. Thanks to him, I managed to get what I needed—and we ended up winning! I would have been disqualified if it weren’t for him.
On top of that, the bed was super comfy, and the location is perfect. But honestly, it’s this kind of service that makes all the difference. Rashid—you’re a hero! I’ll definitely be staying here again.

This hotel badly needs a renovation and deep clean. I think the carpet in the hallways is probably 30+ years old based on the color and the griminess. Room carpet didn't feel that clean either. Also, the two room chairs had stains on them. For the price I had to pay I would expect that the owners would reinvest back into the hotel. Hotel staff were mixed. Some were pleasant some were curt. However, there are so few options in this area of London. If I could avoid this area, I would.
Breakfast was OK. Not worth the price. The best thing was the hummus. In fact the hummus was really good and a great healthy option paired with cucumbers to start your day. Tea options not good. I'll probably try to avoid this hotel in the future if I can find better options or choose a different area altogether.

The facility was old and needed updating. Furniture was is worn and the blinds were filthy. The staff was not helpful, room service was nonexistent...phone went unanswered. The onsite restaurant was very un-inviting...had breakfast from off the menu instead of buffet which seemed to annoy the staff. Went once for dinner since no local resturants were available. We were the only ones there, the food was barely edible (fish n' chips). The hostess/waitress tried too much to be social to the point of annoyance. Street noises outside our room was loud with shouting and yelling into the early morning hours. Trucks making deliveries were our wake up calls, with backup beeping and general offloading noises.

The location of this hotel is really great. It is close to many of London’s attractions within walking distance. The Green Park station tube is also close by. Shepard’s Market is just across the street with many good options for supper or a few pints. The location, unfortunately, is the only thing going for this hotel. The facilities are very run down and tired. The carpeting in the rooms have stains, there were holes in the drapes and the mattresses have no mattress covers nor fitted sheeting. This was true for 2 rooms that we had reserved. The hotel is also very loud and can hear everything from the hallways and adjacent rooms. The breakfast they serve is subpar with cold coffee. The staff were generally friendly however my mother-in-law who is 80 was pushed out of the way in the doorway by the concierge without apology nor excuse-me to serve other “higher” end clients. Overall very disappointed with this hotel and would not recommend. 2 stars was given only because of the locale, otherwise it would be a 1-star.

Excellent location, a bit older rooms, limited in terms of plugs, any usb access and electrical items like the mini-freezer was not functioning properly. Most importantly, keep in mind relatively small twin beds… we have been told no alternative to this..
Staff is helpful but some may be in less problem solving mood! We asked for a plug converter 2 people directed us to tesco across the sttreet and the final gentleman opened a drawer and gave us one. Asked for a late check out, the manager on duty said explicitly no abd 2 hours later another person said yes for an hour extension…so, nice hotel in excellent location but with some perks!

For starters our room wasn’t even clean. I had to clean surfaces off myself because they were so dusty. The furniture was cracked and damaged. I mean we know it was an older hotel but I didn’t even want to sleep here. I honestly would never stay here in the future. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our ten days and it was by far the absolute worst! Disgusting! Plus on top of that we are missing a laptop after staying here and leaving our bags with them while waiting for check in! Do not recommend.

It wasnt the best for the money to be honest and wouldn't return. Was made to pay a large deposit upon checkin for room, room was small with cheap toiletries and only one breakfast teabag each. Then when it came to breakfast as we had booked through Expedia they wanted to charge a lot more per person - they told me breakfast was cheaper if booked direct through hotel.

Loved this place! It’s an old London building and therefore has its old building charms, but is beautifully maintained and decorated. The rooms were lovely and the staff so friendly. The restaurant onsite is also great, and there’s a little convenience store on the corner and one block or so away. There’s a coffee shop called Nero directly out the front door if you prefer a more continental type breakfast. Being with walking distance to Piccadilly Circus and other main areas was brilliant. We’d uber out to our first destination in the morning and make our way back. It’s a nice area too, so no concerns being out late. All around, this will be our designated spot when we return to London next.

The hotel is located within walking distance of most major attractions including Buckingham Palace. Mayfair is absolutely beautiful with plenty of restaurants in the area. The hotel's breakfast was also a great option in the morning. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. My one major suggestion would be to have a kid's menu for dinner or kid's portions. Because we were traveling with children, we needed to find other restaurants in the area that were kid friendly and the options are limited.

Stayed here as it was in a perfect location and was able to walk to my destinations. When I checked into this hotel I was impressed with both the staff and the hotel. I got there early and not only was my room ready but was also upgraded to a superior room with a balcony. The room was very clean and spacious with all amenities I needed, I will most definitely but here again.

We were there (twice) in November/December 2024 because my club on Pall Mall could not accommodate us. It was a lot more expensive than my club, both for accommodations and breakfast. But that being said, the place works. We had a room on the 6th floor the first time (621), a floor which had been renovated and was on the back of the building. Consequently much quieter. The second room (310) was on the third floor, facing the street. So much more ambient street noise. Plus, a whole series of strange bangs in the middle of the night, which sounded like access doors not working. The rooms were both comfortable and well equipped although, for reasons not clear, the TV handset in the second room (310) did not work and required two visits by hotel staff to get things working, not a good experience. We only ate breakfast, both times, and the buffet works well but the staff seemed both times to be in training and totally uncertain about what to do. Meaning that getting coffee (and refills) was a challenge, to say the least. I thought that the location (Curzon Street, off Berkeley Square) might make getting cabs a problem, but it wasn't -- the main draw back with the location is that to go anywhere you wind up on Piccadilly and have to sit there watching the meter chew through your sterling as the traffic goes nowhere, whether you go west or east. But that's London, everywhere.
