Room was ok nice and clean. Shower was really good. Parking the car is a bit hit and miss. Had to park away from the room. Not a big deal as we didn’t have much luggage and only stayed one night. Overall it was ok.

Not far from Ringwood station, this older style looking motel was a pleasant surprise stay. Check in was easy, and the room was way bigger than I thought it would be. The mattress was very comfortable as were the pillows. It was probably one of the best beds I've stayed in. Noise didn't bother me, but it is situated along a highway. Shops and food were nearby and didn't have any complaints with the room at all.

Unit is very clean and tidy bathroom nice towel rail was loose and the guy wasn’t in the office to talk to at check-in & checkout.
There was a problem with ants that got into our food which we had to throw out, the kettle and our cups and walked over us in our beds. The Bed was extremely firm so we didn’t sleep well both nights. This was our second stay there first time was excellent. This time not so much.

On our first stay at staying at Ringwood Lake Inn...we were lucky to get our room for a reasonably good price and paid a little more for a spa...which actually wasn't worth having as it was such a small bath that it was extremely uncomfortable to have a spa, it was only good for the shower which was over the bath.
The bathroom was quiet dirty/dusty on the tiles around the floor base...otherwise it seemed ok but not excessively clean like some venues we've stayed in.
Bed was nice and big but a tad soft...otherwise, you pay for what you get.

No clock radio or clock. Had to fill up kettle in Bath.

My mum and I needed to stay somewhere in Ringwood, and we chose Ringwood Lake Inn. The staff were super friendly and incredibly accommodating after we needed to stay a further 2 nights due to a family members passing.
The beds were really comfortable and the room was just what we needed. Thank you so much for your kindness at a difficult time.

Overall we have stayed in worse . The toilet system was loose off the wall. Mildew around shower glass and around the top . Was too frightened to use spa didn’t want to see what could come out.
We did try to tell attendant when we left at 8:50 ( office was suppose to be open by 8am) but office door locked so left key

The manager/owner of the property went above and beyond to assist in refunding my money, even though I had booked a non refundable rate. I had booked the or to stay during the recent power outage after a terrible storm. We expected to be out of power for several days. Thankfully it was only out 2 days, but I had booked longer - the owner happily assisted my refund.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. Good parking outside room. The bathroom fairly newly renovated. Water dangerously hot, l think above safety level. The TV ON switch beside bed lamp switch was not obvious to elderly eyes, but staff advised. The standard lamp and one bedside lamp not working. Only one fork in cutlery.

For a short stay it is very convenient as has almost everything you need in a room, as most don't have a (microwave and a toaster) kettle, with tea, coffee & sugar, 4 small milk capsules, but no biscuits unfortunately.
And no snack bar or breakfast provided at all either.

The compendium needs updating though - one of the featured restaurants closed several years ago. I could hear the traffic from Maroondah highway (was in a room close to the road), but it was not a deal breaker. Good wifi and easy checkin.

I stayed at this property 4 years ago, I will never stay tgwre again. The dirt ring in the bath tub. I payed for a spa room,but it was dirty. Information book needs to be updated. Hole's in the linen. The room was just dirty. I wiped all touch points as it was dirty.

Conveniently located on Maroondah Hwy but very quiet. No road noise. 8 min walk to Karralyka theatre and 15 min drive to Yarra Valley. Large room, large bathroom. Microwave and toaster a nice bonus. Aircon/ heater effivient and quiet. Polite and friendly check in staff.

We stayed in an Executive Spa Room. It was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, with extra pillows in the cupboard.

Only complaint is that I feel that the rooms and the garden need work.
Rooms need to be modernised and the garden is shabby.

1: the location was great.
2: the staff member in reception was so delightful and great to talk to.
3: parking was very easy for a Kia carnival.
4: rooms were very spacious (could definitely go with king size beds with the space instead of queens)

A nice place to stay.

However, housekeeping attempted to open the door at 9:30am, knocking I.e. half an hour before check out. The knocking kept on till exact 10:00am asking me that that was the time for housekeeping to make the room.

Felt way too pushy expecting, rather forcing, to check out even before the check out time.

That was not a pleasant experience.

The reception staff were really rude. The room itself stank of cigarette smoke. Tried to open a window and the fly screen was ripped from the window.
Shower was missing hot and cold tap indicators. The fire alarm had been removed. The latch for the door was missing a screw and wasn’t secure. The bath was really dirty. It was a terrible experience where I really wanted to leave as felt unsafe and the room stank.
Only stayed as I was unable to contact anyone for a refund and the only person to call was the reception staff and they were horrible to deal with. I got out of there as soon as I could in the morning. Do not ever book there it was gross and I felt unsafe.
