I did reserve the room through the app.
They gave me a key from a room that was occupied by 2 males and I open the room at that moment when they was having sex.
And after all that incident they gave me a room that looks like nobody clean it, the shampoo little bottle was empty and just two towels, the shower did look nasty with hair on the shower head and everything did looks like it didn't was clean.
And also they start knocking from 9:45 like there was a fire outside just for the check out, when check out its at 11 A.M

I booked 2 months in advance to make sure we got the room we wanted. Only for them to tell us when we got there that..oh we tried to call you telling you we don't have that room available and we had to give you another room. They called myself and my mother a day before confirming if we were going or not? Obviously..If we had booked the rooms in advance then obviously we were coming.
My mom's room smelt like old musty stale cigarettes that not even leaving the fan on all day in the room could get the smell out.
Walked into the bathroom to find bugs. Told the front desk about it and the only thing I got was a look of bewilderment asking if I wanted to check out because they had no rooms left.
The fist size hole in the wall was a lovely addition to the room as well as the gash in the bathroom door. People are opening and slamming doors when you are trying to sleep and there's barely enough parking for anyone because there people who live there . It's difficult to find a cat friendly hotel so this is why we resorted to this one.

Adding into this review this place is festooned with black mold in both my mom's room and our room and someone OD'd in the parking lot tonight

Bed was squeaky because it wasn't bolted to the wall. Cheap blanket, Bed wasn't comfortable and they gave two of the worse pillows ever that I woke up in pain. Bathroom wasn't clean, Saw spot of blood on the corner of Bathroom. Worn out toilet seat. Coffee maker wasn't clean. One of the lamps was older than I am. Never going back if I have to pay and would never recommend

All staff friendly. Check in/out easy. There’s a smoking section and so the building’s atmosphere is treated with a strong but not unpleasant smell. Common areas are clean and well maintained. Rug in room could use a cleaning. Thank you!

Front desk services were pleasant, responsive and quick. It does appear the property is under renovation. Community spaces were nice. Linen needs a replacement. There was limited bath linen. Thank goodness I had my own. What was nice is parking for oversize vehicles.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! This hotel was disgusting, it was filthy, smelled and is not safe to stay at. From the resident sitting on the couch in the lobby with no shoes to the clerk being behind glass not to mention the resident that was in front of us paying her weekly rent with blood running down her leg. We should have known then to leave then but gave it the benefit of the doubt and checked in. We get to our room and open the door to the fresh smell of gallons of bleach used to clean the room. I would have rather gone outside in the snow to go to the bathroom than use the bathroom in the room. The sheets were stained. There was stains on the walls where bleach was poured on the walls to get what I can only assume was blood off the walls near the door. There were other spatters on the walls. I don’t think the last person in this room ever checked out by the looks and smell of it. That was enough for me, we grabbed our stuff went down gave the key back and went to the Holiday inn express 20min down the road. I will take it up with my credit card company to get the refund on the room.

The one of the most annoying thing I can say is that the doors of your room slam as you enter your room. All I heard last night were doors opening and slamming closed throughout the entire stay. Did not get much sleep at all.

Then he changed it. But the other room was okay. It was better than the first one. But the water pressure was amazing.

This property has a million and one options for eating, with in walking . When you walk through the doors it is always clean. If you have to wait a second you can sit on the furniture and it is clean. They have a computer and printer in case you need to print a document right fast. The staff are a group of great people and there is no shady business going on here …. I 20/10 would recommend a stay here.

I did not stay at this property. They had the booking up and called me to tell me to call Expedia to ask for a refund.Then when I called Expedia they told me this had to be done with the hotel. Then I called the hotel and the man at the desk said he would process a refund. The refund was never processed .. I paid for a service I did not recieve .. but the Holiday inn across the street was good .

Housekeeping threw out my belongings. Had to get the police involved for the staff to even do anything. They were completely rude. Tried saying nothing happened but looked at the video with the police and saw them throwing out my belongings. As I left housekeeping found my belongings in the trash and were completely rude about returning it.
Bed sheets were also stained with what some kind of bodily fluid I dont want to think about.

Absolutely will not stay again

Room had two singular towels in it. When we asked for more, the young man at the front desk reported they simply did not have any extras.

Our room was closest to the outside exit. The back portion of the building is very sketchy.

The hallway echoes intensely. Any time someone opened their door or spoke in the hallway, it sounded like they were breaking into our room, especially in rhe middle of the night.

The room was a good size and relatively clean, however, for a no smoking room, it did smell like cigarettes. My stay was miserable. I did not sleep all weekend long. Between the people above me stomping around and the couple screaming bloody murder through the night it was honestly terrible. It was so loud and scary my daughter didn’t want me to leave the room to go to the front and complain because she thought someone was being hurt. I did go to the front to complain about the people above the next night, and the stomping subsided for a bit. I thought the screaming couple had gotten kicked out after a whole night of screaming but alas at 6am the next morning I was awoken by crazy people screaming again and wanted to cry. I hear the staff knock and say “is everything ok” at the point..like, really? People like that need to be kicked out. I honestly should have requested a refund after the first night of not sleeping but I’m a very timid, non confrontational person, so that’s my own fault. I can tell you, I will never stay at this location again. The positives: it’s in a nice location, lots of food options, a movie theater. It’s just too bad staff did nothing about the screaming couple.. I can’t think I would be the only one who heard them.

You can tell people live there full time, which wouldn't be an issue, but garbage and dirty linens were piled up in the hallway. There were people hanging out in the parking lot, on the stairs, etc. The room was a place to crash for the night, basics were there.

Hard to find entrance. Room did not have AC on and it was super hot. Tv didn’t work and same with the remote. My key card stopped working and I had to go to the front desk 4 times in one day to have it fixed. Says services breakfast but doesn’t. There were also a lot of sketchy people staying at this hotel.

We stood there for one night because we picked up our Son from a nearby University and the Price was cheap. We was barely there 10 hours and came home with Bed Bug bites all over our bodies and Face. I would never stay at this Hotel again not even if you paid me. I pray I didn't bring any home with me but our whole bodies are riddled in bed bug bites.

Do not recommend this place for the general public. The smell (mix of cleaning products and smoke) was so overwhelming that it felt like we couldn’t breathe. The noise from others staying there was also way too loud. Our room was pretty run-down and outdated, and didn’t seem like it was cleaned all that well. The tipping point for us was finding a cockroach in the bathroom. Luckily the staff there promised to give us a refund. We could not even stay one night there, and left that first night for a nearby hotel.

Room was clean. Didn't know they had lower level rooms, but luckily there was a side door to go out so i didn't have to go up and down the stairs. No elevator so it worked out. Staff was pleasant and housekeeping was extremely helpful. Only issue was the noise overhead. Sounded like they were dragging and dropping things on the floor.

**** WORST HOTEL STAY EVER ****

Not only is this hotel dumpy, we could hear stomping and thumping ALL NIGHT LONG from room above us. At 1 am we called manager to have something done. He came to the room to 'listen for himself' then went up to speak to occupants. The next day, early again, banging continued. Apparently there was a family with 5 children, and the manager had been trying to reach them for 3 days. Why put 7 people in one room, and on the TOP FLOOR so people below have to hear that? I spoke to other people on my floor and they said they could hear it too.We left first thing in the morning and found a red roof inn a few miles away and it was so much better. Their continental breakfast didn't even have juice for kids, coffee only. Luckily there was a dunkin donuts next door. Parking lot is super suspicious, no benches or bbq or grassy area like in the pictures. manager unhelpful, kept dodging my calls once i returned home, until i got Hotels.com involved. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. Go to the Red Roof instead. This was such a terrible stay, and really put everyone in a bad mood until we got to a better hotel. I can't say enough warnings about this place. One positive - one of the maids/ staff did get some orange juice for my kids, and was very apologetic for the noise and lack of sleep. The manager couldn't care less. Then he offered me a king size bed. How is that going to help unless we are not anywhere near that family of 7+ people? No thanks.

Here you get what you paid for, its cheap for a reason. The room smelled horrible once I got there and I could not air it out enough. There were stains on the sheets and towels. The walls had holes and the floor was stained. My tv didnt work and when I tried to heat the room the air conditioner blew out a thick cloud of smoke that made the room smell even worse. As a single female traveler I did not feel super safe in the area. However the staff was nice and they did have a dunkin donut next door.

I wasn’t pleased at all with the stay. Upon arrival, the staff member I dealt with was nice and welcoming. Check in was a breeze. Once we (my kids and I) entered our room, I immediately smelled something off. It smelled bad. Yes, I picked a “non smoking” room. I went to use the restroom and noticed a bunch of loose short hair all over the toilet. Thankfully, I had my own disinfecting wipes because I had to wipe down everything once I saw all the hair left behind. I’m pretty sure the room wasn’t cleaned. There was water/juice bottles under the bed and couch. The carpet felt extremely dirty. My feet felt disgusting after taking a few steps around. My kids and I left with a ton of little itchy red marks all over our bodies. I’m assuming it was bedbug bites. The only positive part of this experience was the area, staff, and breakfast. Other than that, I would never stay here again.

I liked the convenient location to where I needed to be in Waterbury the next morning. The room was large enough, had ample drawer space, was clean and quiet.
On the other hand, there were only two coat hangers for the rack and the front desk could not provide any more. There were no extra rolls of toilet paper and the one in the bathroom was nearly out, so I had to go to the front desk for more. Empty kleenex box - had to go to the front desk again. On arrival, I found the toilet running water at full flow (I fixed it) and the TV was on very loud with some cartoon. Breakfast on Saturday didn't start until 7 AM and I needed to be out soon after that. Just one kind of cereal - very sugary kind of cheerios. There was only decaf coffee, no regular coffee pots. Go figure how they can justify that for breakfast.

I liked how they accept dogs and it's next to a DD, a movie theater and a gas station. Didn't like how there was someone else's used soap still in the shower, smudged on so hard it looked like it had been there for months. They're breakfast isn't as good as it used to be
