Booked this hotel because it said there was parking, however when we arrived we were told the hotel does not own the parking lot and that motorcycles were not allowed to park. We were later told that as we were in Austria for a motorcycle race, we should have been allowed to park our motorcycles for free.
Breakfast was very good with friendly staff in the restaurant.
we needed to ask for coffee and milk a number of times as maid service only left 1 of each even though it was a two person booking. We also had to ask for pillows and towels as there were not enough.

Parking is quite tricky, you need to be aware of which entrance. Reception was not very welcome. Checking out is welcome but when exiting parking garage there was issue with the system and I have to walk all the way back to inform the front desk.

We had a great stay at Austria Trend Hotel. It's location opposite the train station was ideal, so that we didn't have to travel far with our bags. The walk into the old town was about 15 minutes, but there were also regular trams and buses, so it was easy to get around. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. There was an issue with the water for one of the days we were there and the staff went above and beyond to mitigate the disruption to us.

Hotel is close to Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) which is why i booked there. Room was nice, only one major issue for me: the AC was not working, i changed the room but i had the same issue on the new room as well. I had to sleep with the window open, luckily it was cooler in the night, but it was also noisy, as my room was facing the Hauptbahnhof. I wouldn't go there in the summer for more than a day or two, that's for sure. ACs are ancient and probably lacking freon so all they do is ventilate the air, nothing else.

Comfortable, clean hotel in the centre of Graz. Handy parking under the hotel and the rooms are very quiet, comfy beds too. Breakfast (continental style) was good with loads of choice in a pleasant restaurant area.

Everything is good - location, nice breakfast, hassle free check-in and check-out but the only thing that caught me off guard was… there were some stains on my blanket cover that looked like blood stains. I didn’t notice it the night before but was surprised to see them after a long walk around Graz when we were back in the evening. Requested for room service to change them but was told by the receptionist that no one at room service was around in the evening. In the end, I requested for fresh blanket cover and changed the cover myself so that I could sleep with peace of mind. The room looked clean otherwise.

Austria Trend Hotel Europa Graz is a nice hotel. The bed was comfortable with soft pillows. We were happy that each of us has two pillows. The room was clean. The bathroom offered a sufficient number of towels. Breakfast offered a wide selection of food and fruits. Staying in the hotel was a pleasant experience.

The lady at front desk Friday afternoon was trying to help us, but was not understanding in both German and English we spoke. The Hotel was easy to drive to and parking is right underneath. The location direct across from the main train station makes it easy to get on the strassenbahn and ride into the old part of the city. The Hotel room was clean and quiet and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

My room and bathroom were quite spacious, modern and totally clean, though I found the bed rather soft. The hotel is very well located, opposite the main railway station (with trains direct to the airport). The city centre is about a mile away and can be easily reached on foot or by very frequent trams. I had a problem finding the hotel at night. It is also called Hotel Europa, which is the name displayed above the main entrance.

Conveniently located next to the train station/transit hub, Hotel Europa is modern, clean and quiet. Everything functioned as it should and the staff was very helpful. While there were enough outlets to charge my devices, one next to the bed would be nice. I don't like pushing together to twin beds to make a \"king\" bed. It just doesn't work well.

This is an excellent hotel in a very convenient location, right next to the main train station, which also is a hub for public transportation with trams and buses. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. The internet connection was very good, which is important for me. It should also be mentioned that there is a SPAR store in the train station, which does not close on Sundays and holidays, unlike all other stores. I have visited Graz on numerous occasions over the years, and this will be my main choice from now on.

We booked last minute and would not classify our room as a 4-star experience. Sheets were clean, tho. Beds were more like a 3-star hotel.

Bathroom could have been cleaner... the grout, some dirty-looking spots on the floor, and the extending close-up mirror edges were dirty. The hair dryer was utterly disgusting--old and handle was dirty... like stuff was on it... ew.

But at least the shower looked clean enough.

The air conditioning machine had a funny noise, so it maybe needs a service or upgrade.

Appreciated the late check-out of noon.

Staff was helpful and nice. Lobby was nice.

Had a room at the rear of the hotel which was very quiet, I imagine that the ones at the front may suffer the noise from the busy road. Stayed one night as it was very close to the main railway station and I needed to leave early. We stayed in Graz for 3 nights. The hotel is opposite the main train station on a busy road. It is a 10 min walk to the old town along an unattractive road. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. Our room was at the back and so was quiet. Breakfast was good although the plates and bowls seemed to have come from a dolls house! Car parking is in a public car park serviced by the hotel's own lift, we didn't have any problems getting a space. We didn't use any other hotel facilities. Overall it was a perfectly good chain hotel.

We stopped over in Graz on our way from Vienna to Ljubljana by train. The hotel is only 50 metres from the railway station so there was no need to call for a taxi. The hotel is much more impressive on the inside than it is on the outside. The rooms are excellent, being relatively spacious, well designed, and with every facility we could ask for.

Horrible looking hotel in a noisy location on the ugly side of Graz. Strange interior with a super brightly lit bar in the reception that had zero atmosphere. Very average rooms that had tired old carpets like the hotel corridors and bathrooms. Needs a re-fit.
On the plus side the staff were all lovely, provided good local tips to bars and restaurants and the breakfast room and breakfast were both good.

A good business hotel near the station.

This was a business trip, where I was working outside Graz for 5 days, so proximity to the station was important. This hotel has the same problem as all the hotels in the area, that there are a lot of busy roads outside, so you have to sleep with the windows firmly closed.

But the hotel is perfectly functional and comfortable, so I stay there quite often. One thing that is good, is the free WiFi, which has decent bandwidth, although you may need to set your DNS servers by hand.

GP 2014 Austria

Decided on Austria this year and chose Graz as it was not to far from the circuit. Hotel in a easy location to find, on the same road from the airport and same road out of Graz to travel to race. We hired bikes on the Friday from the hotel and the nearby station, plenty of cycle ways and the traffic in the main area was light but you had to watch out for the trams. Prices in both the hotel and bars and restaurants was reasonably priced better than some places we have been to GP's. Only had 1 day to explore but we all said we would return in a couple of years for another Grand Prix. We found out after we had booked a car from the airport that a special train is laid on from Graz and other main locations to the circuit but we kept the car, and it only took us less than a hour to be back in Graz after the end of the race.

The hotel could not have been more conveniently situated across from the city's main train station. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke English. Room was very clean and comfortable. Only problem was the heat was set to 23 C at all times, which we found too warm for sleeping. We slept with a window open in early December. Despite its location, our room at the back of the hotel was very quiet. Excellent value.

This is a very clean and well situated hotel in the town centre. Opposite the train station and close to many restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff made the stay very pleasant. A bonus for us was the private parking as our car was full having driven from Turkey with a lot of things.
We would have preferred to eat in the hotel after a long day but no restaurant. If the weather had been bad we would have got wet going to eat
