The Hotel Drei Raben is quite a lovely hotel - with very attentive, kind and helpful staff! We enjoyed the breakfast and the afternoon social hour with lively conversation with other guests and the hotel team. The location is great - walking distance to the Nuremberg Hbf and the local attractions (and the fantastic Christmas Markets). Rooms are charming and each one has a local ‘story’. We highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Nuremberg.

The hotel claims four stars, not sure what that is based on (there are no amenities such as pool, gym etc.). The staff is very friendly but could use some more training. Let me explain., We arrived by car and made our way to the hotel which is smack in the southern part of the old town of Nuernberg. I only discovered at the hotel that a message had been sent to me (email) the afternoon before our arrival that due to construction the GPS would give us the wrong directions, and one had to input a different address. That being said, we managed but the communication could possibly have been more timely. We used the valet service of the hotel after unloading our luggage in a side street next to the hotel. Subsequently, while sipping a libation on the small terrace in front of the hotel, I overheard three staff members discussing who should park the car of the next guest who had arrived after us, as two of them had been drinking. One, I laud them for debating this as it indicates a sense of responsibility, two, I would not discuss that in front of guests and just assume they don't understand German. Anyway, location is great, everything walkable, room was very small, bathroom had a few hairs, view was of the building next door, breakfast was good. The elevator is geriatric and tiny.

The breakfast was superb too. I like the free drink between 6pm and 8pm. In Nuremberg I will only stay at the Drei Raben. Excellent hotel. Stay here with confidence!

This little hotel is in the perfect location. Our room was spotless and our king bed was firm. It was very quiet as well. The hotel itself is in need of updating. Hallway carpets are old and stained, the lobby is clean but tired. The staff was excellent, however, and the breakfast was perfect.

This hotel has taken hospitality to a whole new level. The owner and staff are amazingly helpful, thoughtful and hospitable. I especially loved the small artistic touches in every way - from food presentation to room preparation, and those little jars used for sugar, fruits and all sorts of unexpected stuff.

Marko was awesome, he parked our car and made sure we were all set. Breakfast was wonderful and they waited for us to eat long after 11am on both days that we were there.

There was a welcome sign with our names, and chocolates waiting on the bed for us, even though we booked 30 or so minutes before arrival! We only wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely go back, if only to be in a hotel where the people genuinely care about their guests, and treat them like Royalty. This place has really raised the bar for the entire industry.

Only problem is that it is a concept so don’t expect too much normality. For me it’s great for my partner it wasn’t. Absolutely horrible hotel. Every Monday there’s a massive demonstration of some really bad characters. Hundreds of police officers everywhere very very scary. Do not go to this hotel on a Monday. Also, my phone was stolen from my car. I would absolutely not recommend going to this hotel ever.

Best location to see old town. Walkable from the train, & to anything in old town. Ralph is so helpful with recommendations for restaurants or anything you might want to see. He even had a driver ready to take us to Rothenburg because the train schedule was iffy. It wasn't inexpensive, & the driver was his father (not a youngster), but we got where we needed to be. We will stay again if we're back in Nurnburg.

We loved staying here during our visit to Nuremberg. The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. There were plenty of choices for restaurants nearby and the staff made great recommendations for dinner. The room was spacious, comfortable and well-kept, plus it came with an extra international charger for your devices. The hotel was conveniently located near the train station and other attractions. So many places were easy to walk to from the hotel, too. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to everyone. They took great care of us!

Good location but not car accessible

On hotels.com website, it says valet parking. But this hotel's location is not car accessible. They sent me an email late afternoon on the day of my check in about how to get to the hotel. I did not see it necause I did not use roaming service. So when we drove near the property, we saw blocked road. So we found a near by parking lot and carried our luggage for several blocks. It is very inconvnient. On hotels.com website, they aslo says slippers are provided. But when we asked for slippers, they do not have any pair in the hotel. It is another inconvnient. I chose the hotel according the service they provided, which I did not get. The breakfast is quite ok. And you can get one glass of wine during the happy hour. One late night, I was hungry and I asked for some food and they gave me croissant. I would gave the place 4 stars if there was no issue with car access and slippers.

The most wonderful reason to stay at this property is because of the staff who work there. They are exceedingly warm and friendly and helpful fat more than most hotel establishments. My husband became sick and they directed us to a doctor . They offered us hotel umbrellas as we left for dinner. The night we arrived they recommended a German restaurant s short walking distance from the hotel and they asked if we would like them to call the restaurant for us . When we arrived at the restaurant our table was waiting. The host invited us to come for wine tasting . Everyone spoke English clearly and made us feel welcome. This is a boutique hotel and our room was decorated in a circus motif . The breakfast was free and although not elaborate, we were able to enjoy the usual favorites served at other German hotels. Be aware this is a small hotel so if big chain hotels appeal to you this might not be as fancy as you are accustomed to but the rooms and bathrooms are clean every day . I would only mention a half wall in the shower stall did not prevent the floor from getting wet.

The location was perfect, close to everything. The room was very pleasant. What made the stay so great was the impeccable attention to detail and helpfulness of the hotel staff. From the wonderful breakfast, room cleaning, turndown service, laundry, dinner reservations and more, the staff showed exemplary patience and kindness.

As an example, on our first day in, the streets were closed and we couldn't get to the hotel. We parked some distance away and Ralph the host walked with us and another hotel staff person to our car, carried the suitcases for us and took the car from there to park so we could just go to the hotel and relax.

The only thing that could be improved was the rather outdated television which was too old to use Roku. Also, the Nurnberg folks are party people and they like to noisily celebrate outside the hotel until 3-4 am, but closing the windows helped.

Our stay in Nuremberg was fabulous because of the service we received at this hotel. It is in a great location , close to the train station. The owner has hired a terrific team who all work together to ensure that everything is perfect from the moment we arrived. They actually came out to greet us and bring in our luggage. We were shown to our room, everything was explained, and reservations were made for our dinners. The breakfast they service is not only delicious, has a wide variety of offerings, but also is served in individual containers to be consistent with the sanitary conditions of a post-COVID world, The hotel tells the story of Nuremberg in the uniqueness of every room. The evening cocktail hours is a lovely touch. The service is above and beyond! One of the team actually walked us to the subway to help us purchase our tickets because we couldn't read German. They recommended and arranged for us to rent a car rather than take a train that would have required 3 changes. They completely reduced the stress of our side day-trips. The linens were lovely, bathroom amenities were perfect. I am so glad we chose this hotel. We travelled in Prague, and other parts of Germany and this was our best experience! I hate to write this because I am afraid the hotel will be all booked the next time we want to go, but truly they deserve more praise than I have given!

What a wonderful little hotel! The service is impeccable! I can’t say enough about all the staff, every person was kind and helpful. From helping us get settled and telling us all about our room and the area to calling and making dinner reservations for us, they did it all and more! We totally loved this place, just within the 'Altstadt', an easy walk from the train station. Hotel is beautifully appointed with personalized, professional attention from staff. The breakfast was one of the best in terms of details in execution we're ever had and quality of offerings. Our room was beautiful, clean and quiet. Plus, there's a \"happy hour\" with a complementary drink offered (they're not too fussy as we had a friend join us a couple evenings for this before heading out for dinner). Location is obviously wonderful: safe and walkable to all the best sites and eating! Will definitely stay here on our next tour of Germany!

Drei Raben is a small hotel owned and operated by a charming family. Mom son, daughter and cousins do a great job. It is about 500 meters from the main square and tjere are numerous shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Location is unmatched. Service beyond comparison. Great people who took an active genuine interest in supporting all aspects of our visit to Nürnberg and overall travel in Germany. Although I do not generally take time to leave online comments, in this case, I think it worthwhile to other potential guests to know the Drei Raven is without question the place to stay in Nürnberg.

Comfortable small hotel in Nuremberg old town. Historic, cultural and shopping sites all in easy walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. Each room has a unique \"raben\"-related theme. (Raben = raven)

About as perfect as it gets

EVERYTHING about this small hotel was perfect ... hospitality from the moment I arrived until picking up my luggage when I left. Three tasty raven cookies, wine in the evening, plentiful breakfast, an actual, real-deal cappuccino (not a push-button one) ... and a comfy bed and quiet sleep. The location is ideal too. Highly recommended.

Hotel Drei Raben is travelers' home from home

This is an amazing and well thought place. It doesn't just have good location, great service, spotless cleanness; people who work there have been super helpful and warm - they made our two nights stay experience very special and memorable.
The size of the room was good and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had everything we can think of and delicious. Each breakfast tables is telling an interesting story, we only heard one story this time and planning to go back to hear more.
We needed a car parking for the first night, at the time we went back there wasn't any nearby spot available. The young man at the front desk volunteered to move the car for us once the convenient spot became available. The next morning, when we're ready to go the car was moved to the closest spot to the hotel front door!
These are just a few things among the others. I'm sure that all well traveled people had many good hotel experiences, but Hotel Drei Raben is very special to all of us. We'll certainly come back again and recommend to our friends and families.

This hotel was great. Very good location including to railway station, advice / assistance on checkin was really good and genuinely helpful, room well prepared and breakfast great. Staff were friendly and focused on visitors. I could not recommend more strongly.
