We loved our stay at Quest Parnell. This was the third Quest we stayed in while in NZ and definitely the best. The 2 bedroom apartment had plenty of space for our small family and everything we needed. Parking is a little expensive at $29 per night. There is nearby outdoor parking for $10 if you don't need the convenience of the undercover garage downstairs.

Phoned Quest uusing my cellphone and person said push communication button on panel. There was no cummunication button - just the dial pad that kept cutting out. This was a great stay while in Auckland. Near to so many great cafes and the room had a washer/dryer so we could do laundry as we were in New Zealand for 25 days. The bed was very comfy and the room spotless. Pennie was exceptionally helpful and so flexible with an early check in and giving us good suggestions on what to do, where to go and where to eat. A fabulous experience.

Our telephone did not work even after it was replaced and there was a terrible noise in our hallway from drying out rooms. The people at the front desk were very helpful. Quest Parnell was an excellent stay for the beginning of our holiday. The hotel had a small pool and workout gym which we used. They were alright.
We got the apartment and it was spacious! The location was great for us as it was near a grocery market so we could buy food to prepare in the kitchenette. Additionally, there were many restaurants nearby. Also, the hotel is near the Parnell train station as well.
The kitchen had a dishwasher, a sink, and stovetop with plenty of pots and pans. The restroom had a washer and dryer which we used. These were very convenient.
The bed and pillows were comfortable enough and the heater worked great (especially with the cold weather during our time in Auckland). Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

It’s a good option and close to train. It’s getting old though and could do with a tidy up. Carpet doesn’t look clean although I’m sure it was, it’s just old. No tissues in the room and expensive for what it is. Everything is very basic and stale. We stayed in apartment 2. The room was spacious and having laundry facilities is handy. The sheets were clean and the bed was super comfy but the dressing tables and not be cleaned for some time. Our room was very noisy as it was next to the back entrance/parking so from 5am on Saturday rubbish/laundry trucks start coming, so no sleep in. The room had quite a loud continuous humm, this could also be heard from the hallway, we thought perhaps it was coming from the transformer directly outside the bedroom?? The toilet was also noisy when flushed. The window had no lock on it, just a piece of wood holding the window shut. Rooms not serviced on Sundays. Staff are friendly. Location is great being close to some fantastic restaurants… would I stay again, No, for the price you can get better elsewhere.

Great location, easy walking distance to a lot of dining and shopping options, only 10 mins drive to central Auckland. We got a cool view of the sky tower from our room. Staff really amazing, only niggle was the bathroom servicing got missed on the Saturday of our stay, but when bringing it up with the staff, they apologized and rectified immediately. Would stay here again.

I was really surprised by Parnell - didn't know anything about it in advance, just booked because Quest is always a great place to stay. Parnell was gorgeous, so unique and you can see that the quirkiness of the buildings and shops are really treasured. Quest was very close to the main street and a great quiet space for my family to be. The kitchen was great and we were able to do some cooking in preparation for the rest of our NZ trip.

Information needs updating on platform. No room service regarding breakfast and no receptionist after 5pm. Had to park in a tow away risk carpark to check in. No signage when approaching front entrance that the carpark is around the next corner about 100m away. Otherwise once in room after the 3 phone calls to an offsite receptionist everything else was fine. Good sized rooms and a comfortable stay. Breakfast is not available though as these are self serviced appartments.

This is the third time we've stayed here, it's a good solid choice if you want to be close to the CBD (but without the access hassles), close to the motorway and with loads of dining options on your doorstep.
