As a repeat customer I was very happy overall with my stay. I was disappointed that for during my time frame the men’s steam room & sauna was out of service yet the room price remained the same. It is one of the key reasons I stay at this property
I also revisited the Our Land bar/ restaurant & was very pleased with the attentive service & staff after prior below par experiences.

My partner and I had an amazing time, the room smelt so lovely. Every time we walked into our room we were hit with the hotels beautiful scent. staff were lovely and accomadating, outdoor pool area and bar was so refreshing and made it feel like we were in another country! The breakfast was one of our favourite parts everything tasted fresh and looked so good. the only side note I have was that our bath (and little thing that holds the soap on the side) was not cleaned properly and was a little brown (also had some brown drips in the bath? like water hadn't been wiped away properly.) other than that it was a 10/10 experience and we would def stay again :)

So a notable split in the middle.

We had a lovely time staying at Corbis. Good service, friendly staff, the bus shuttle was very useful and convenient,and the breakfast and Buffett dining was worth seeing and experiencing! The spa, sauna, pool and steam rooms were clean and refreshing. We will certainly return to stay here in our future travels

Another great stay at the Cordis. Never disappoints. Kids love the place and they’re very accommodating. The Club Lounge is fantastic, there was a bit of a smell up there for a couple of days but they managed to sort it out. A few minor things but nothing worth mentioning.

This is the third time I stayed at Cordis and it's my favorite hotel in Auckland. I love the spa, heated pool and the breakfast is truly amazing! My son was especially excited with the self serve ice cream. I appreciate the reliable service, and particularly I am thankful to manager Harvey for accommodating my requests, and to Cristina for excellent room service.

Wonderful stay. I thoroughly recommend this hotel, particularly the new rooms in the Pinnacle Tower. I had such a beautiful room, a big comfortable bed, and lovely modern bathtub.
The room service was delicious and the spa and gym were clean and relaxing spaces.
I can’t wait to come back!

Lovely hotel bur k rd and Queen stretlet very dodgy, homeless and drunks hassling fir money.

.As school holidays, the pool was crowded and kids were bombing/ diving in and so not very relaxing.
You have to cast your phone as no sky movie channel content.
I had trouble so gave up.
Cooked breakfast was sub standard, people next door to me complained as well...Manager obliging and understanding , but left feeling disappointed.. takes a lot for me to complain.
Location handy to domain, but krd and Upper Queen street is quite derelict.Lots of homeless

We were given a room upgrade - even so the bathroom had lights that didn't work, chipped tiles, and poor repairs in areas of the bathroom.

Eight restaurant was very noisy and even though we asked for another table, the waitstaff argued that we would be too far from the food and seated us in the centre of the noisiest section of the room. The food was underwhelming and not worth the price we had to pay and the place reminded us of a scrum in a shopping centre food hall. The hype on the Cordis website sure didn't match the reality and we left after only a short while, nearly $300 out of pocket, as the overall experience was not pleasant.

On the positive side, we ate in the Chandelier Lounge the following evening and had some really excellent food. The leek ash crusted lamb rump was sublime. However the crispy duck fat potatoes were not at all crispy - they were soggy and had been finished in duck fat that was just not hot enough so there was no crispy exterior and fluffy interior.

The bar service in the Chandalier Lounge was also pretty average - it's all well and good to offer fancy in-house cocktails but a waste of time if you don't also cover the basics like knowing how to make a martini if a customer asks for one.

Our overall experience was underwhelming and we doubt we'll come back.

As a returning solo traveller I was treated as a valued guest. Even though it was a very busy time with school holidays & many tour groups the staff did a great job of helping me. The hotel I has implemented processes during school holidays to minimise the noise & disruption of children in the pool area which is much better.

Poor customer service- my partner was dismissed and turned away. His phone was taken from him for ID processing and he was mistreated. We are deeply disappointed in the service- and to be offered no compensation apart from an “upgrade next time we stay” dissappointing. We will not be staying again and reccommend somewhere else for better customer service.

Thecstaff vhanged our room immediately after we got a sloghtky dufferent room. The room was grear. The only pribkem was the chrome casting to watch movies. In the evenings it didnt work. Breakfast was fine for our room service breakfast and of course location is excellent. The pool was a great place to relax.
Restaurant bar was awesome too. Didnt visit the other ones this time.
Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Things to know, there is a 24/7 shop just behind the hotel, you go through the lobby.
At the front (Reception side) there's Pizza Hut, Kebab, Shop that are open till late.
The Buffet is good too and also the facilities, pool, spa, sauna, herbal steam room, the showers 👍

We were excited about our stay as we came here 1 year ago. Club breakfast was below average, i think we should try the other 8 restaurant next time to compare. Internally the building is still great externally the pool area looked like it was in need of some love. Overall we left feeling underwhelmed feeling it was 4* at best. Would probably try our luck in a different 5* resort next time we have the option.

I stayed at the Cordis with a group of friends, as we were all attending Synthony in the Domain. This was my first stay at the Cordis and it will now be my go-to for all trips to Auckland.

I loved everything about this hotel. The spacious rooms, the divinely comfortable “Dream Beds,” the gym facilities, the pool and hot tub, the convenience of being able to order an amazing room service meal at midnight with so many great options on the menu.

The service was impeccable from every staff member I encountered. A special shout out to Brent (Head of Valet) for going above and beyond - ensuring we were all looked after in a timely manner with prompt access to our vehicles as needed - whilst managing his team and running a silky smooth flawless operation. His attention to detail is impressive, and he dresses like he means it. Great sense of personal style, and witty banter.

I loved my weekend at the Cordis and didn’t want it to end. Will be back again soon.

Very good hotel. Little annoyances: had to change rooms as the first one had a bad smell. The beds were 'over made' too many sheets and too tight corners! The Room we moved to on floor 7 looked onto Symmonds St. It was very noisy day and night. Concierge Charles was fantastic. Recommended a great restaurant (giraffe) for our coeliac travelling companion.

Location was great and easy to get to off the motorway. We used the valet parking which was super convenient and the staff were great. Our room was spacious and very clean. Well equipped with what we needed, except no microwave. We had buffet breakfast and were spoilt for choice. Food was delicious. The outdoor pool was warm enough for an early morning swim then spa. Loved our stay!
