One of the best places I've ever stayed on all the trips I've made. Spotlessly clean and location perfect for walking to all the delights in the area; beach, marina, restaurants and bars. If ever back for a visit, this is the place I want to stay.

Staffs were super nice to us. The property is near a few restaurants, which are very noisy at night. People were singing loudly at the restaurants way past midnight. The room offered to us were on the attic level with very low ceilings, it was only 5 feet high in the bathroom and shower. We had to bend over most of the time. This was not mentioned in the room description when I booked. Again, the staffs were really nice, but the room being offered to us was terrible.

The beach here is gorgeous . The water temperature is around upper 60s. But the weather is hot and sunny . It’s October 5, 2025 off season so not super crowded . Restaurants all over . This hotel is quiet , with very spacious bathroom . The room has an open porch when you open the door . Front desk Andres very courteous. Breakfast buffet is great . Line for coffee . Hotel has a small pool . Thank goodness it’s a smoke free hotel . Everywhere else people are smoking and vaping 😖

Everything was amazing! The room was outstanding, the pool was breathtaking the view was just as amazing! Honestly this stay was one of the best places we stayed at in Portugal. The only downside was when we asked for additional towels in the room we were told we already had two towels and were never given extra towels. That was very strange and upsetting but other than that the stay was great.

We liked how convenient the hotel was. The one thing we didn’t like was the possibility of being charged for sheets/towels - the staff did an inspection at check out and if they were deemed unacceptable you’d have to pay money from your deposit. Ours were fine and we weren’t charged anything but it made the stay less enjoyable. (We saw someone aroguing with the staff about this at check-out). Otherwise a good stay.

The hotel’s lovely and in a stunning location. The front desk clerk was super helpful and friendly. Everyone speaks English (and many speak multiple languages) which is very helpful & welcoming. My only qualm is that only some rooms have elevators; others are accessed exclusively by stairs. Aside from that inconvenience (my fault, not theirs), it was a lovely stay in a beautiful town.

If your room is on the first floor, you will hear everything that happens in the lobby until about midnight. Great hotel, within 5 mins walking distance to Albufeira Beach, Clock Tower and Old Town; very near shopping street. Perfect for overnight stays, super convenient location. Room was large, spacious double bed with comfy mattress, duvet and included towels/toiletries, and good Wifi. Had Balcony overlooking the front of the villa. Everything looks newly refurbished, very clean, light and airy. Great continental breakfast included, pool area overlooked the beach, very scenic view in the morning for breakfast. Unfortunately pool could not be used due to windy weather conditions. I had a really nice welcome by hotel staff on arrival, thank you Joao! i would recommend staying to any traveller.

They are always available to attend to any request or questions. There is free street parking and we had our rental car parked for two days in the same spot without any issue. Restaurants , bars and plenty of shopping are only a few blocks away. Breakfast is European style. Plenty of cold cuts, a selection of fruits, breads , cheeses, yoghurt, cold cereal and crepes. No hot breakfast American style but we were more than happy with the selection offered. Overall we give this place a 5 stars review.

Beautiful views from our room. The salt H2O pool was perfect for a refreshing afternoon swim. The patios had wonderful furnishings and many areas for relaxing. Everything thing was very clean. The breakfast staff were friendly and polite. Showers had great hot water and good pressure. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Not sure if it’s a family’s hotel or not, because if it’s then I understand why they have this strange policy.
The best thing about it is the view, but the service wasn’t great. No coffee, tea or mini bar in the room. Rooms were small, but clean with not very comfy bed. Breakfast was very basic. Staff don’t speak English, except Philippa, she was awesome.

We were a little disappointed with the room. The bed was very hard, but we did get a “topper” for the second night. The AC was not cooling, but it was fixed. Apparently 4 rooms are grouped in the same system, and if one room sets to “heat” it affects the other 3. When we entered the hotel we noticed a particular smell. It became evident that it was from a bug spray, as we had a problem with ants in the room. Our room was not swept when it was cleaned. We were charged €1.50 per day for the room safe.

She was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and available. Parking is at an absolute premium. There are a few spots across the street, but if you don’t get one it’s an adventure.

I can't say enough good things about this property. It was conveniently located by the beach, shops, parking was easy. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. We had a first floor bedroom and felt safe enough to keep the sea-facing door open all night to feel the breeze and listen to the waves crashing outside. Sunrises from the balcony were surreal. I will be back someday!

We encountered other guests that had the same problem. When I asked the owner for some ice she said it was for their use only. WHAT??? I wanted a glass of ice. This is not acceptable. I asked again the next day and was told I could have it once then would have to buy it. I was given 3 small single ice cubes, and they have an ice machine! After talking to other guests that had the same problem it was because the owner wanted us to buy their alcohol. No way! I would rather go to the bar next door and spend my money, not cool.

The view from the seaside rooms is unbelievable, so pretty. The patio area with the pool is small but all the guests were as friendly as the staff. We had a fantastic time, could not pick a better place for this price. The hotel is up hill but a little quieter because of that I think. Walkable distance to the main streets and the marina, but midday is very hot so a taxi and tuk tuk are a little more comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Nice hotel, central, I had a couple of minor niggles. At over €100 for the night (perhaps they have better deals at different times of the year) I would have expected a bottle of water in the room, tissues and more choice at breakfast. Having said that the room was compact but pleasant and the breakfast terrace has a lovely view and catches the morning sun.

The view from the pool deck and the breakfast room is stunningly beautiful. Very convenient location, 200 m walk to the beach and 100 m and turn the corner to the centre area of the town, yet located on a very quiet street. We spent one day on the beach in town and the second day at Marinha Beach, about 30 min. drive east. Beautiful views, clean sand. Water rather cold but bearable to swim., about 18 deg.

The location is in the old town walking distance to restaurants and shops. Our room had a big private balcony facing the ocean. Good breakfast and private parking is available. The only complaint was the air conditioner did not work. Even though they thought all it needed was a reset, we inform them that the outside motor was not working and only warm air came out of the unit.

Lovely hotel, we paid for a standard room. It was ground floor facing the road & no terrace. The natural lighting was poor & I found difficulty applying my makeup. I would next time choose a room with a sea view & terrace. The walk in shower was large & modern & water piping hot. The room was cosy with a contemporary feel.

Lovely view from poolside looking over the beech stayed in a lower room was very cramped but nice ,great shower nothing to put wet or damp beachwear onto dry because we had no balcony got locked out of hotel after 12 because no reception and our keycard wouldn’t work to open the door had to wait for another guest to open the door for us then the card wouldn’t open our room door had to ring an emergency number that was in the hotel ie no number outside and someone came after about 20 mins hotel manager said our card had been wiped of all information

Fantastic place to stay, very helpful staff, spotlessly clean, great location - close enough to the old town but pleasantly quiet. The only recommendation I would suggest is for a digital safe in the room so you don’t have to keep hold of a key. We both look forward to returning in the near future
