Be warned….this is an extremely noisy hotel!! Bar/club noise from midday until 4am. If you want to sleep before this, take ear plugs! The hotel inside is also noisy, we could clearly hear what our neighbours were doing, we heard every conversation and phone ringing from reception, hoovering in corridors and everyone going up/down the stairs. First floor room. Maybe other rooms higher up would have been quieter.

Room was very small (101) it also had a very musky smell. there was a plug in air freshener in the bathroom which smelt nice so we left the door open all the time.
double bed is very small and very hard.
Roof top terrace is lovely and Christoph is a great friendly bar man.

If your going there to party your in the right place, if you want to rest and re charge not the hotel for you it’s on the party street and very loud until 3-4 am. Breakfast was also great. Great location and convenient to walk around and the room is clean but for some reason, when we woke up next day, there were all these flies? Bugs? coming in thru bathroom sink pipes in the bathtoom.
it was scary and disgusting..
and its very very noisy not from the hotel but restaurants and bars near the hotel that goes on all night..so if u r a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.
Besides these 2 thigs, everything else is good.

The price of the stay was reasonable at €90 for 2 nights, however the standard of the rooms and facilities is low. There is a strange smell in the rooms, a mechanical noise kept us awake both nights. There seem to be no double beds only single beds pushed together with separate sheets. We booked primarily for the rooftop jacuzzi however when we turned on the bubbles the scum that rose the surface was disgusting so we didn’t get in again. It is cheap and a good location very close to beach and old town. Although if you are expect to go to sleep before 12am I wouldn’t recommend here as you can hear the singers in nearby pubs very clearly. The staff in Riccos the restaurant attached to the hotel are lovely though and go above and beyond for the customers.

Brutal. My room was tiny, bed uncomfortable and there is lots of street noise. I couldn't sleep until 3 or 4 am. I showed up before noon and the girl promised to hold a quiet room on the top floor for me. I came back late and found out she didn't do what she promised. Instead, I was in a room facing the street, 1 of the noisiest places to be. You're paying for the location, if you want to be in Old Town

Noise from other guests were not the fault of the hotel. Did not spoil the trip and would come back again, with ear plugs. Bars and noise from outside was apparent when the doors are closed but not loud enough to prevent sleeping in my opinion.
Roof bar was a treat and spent most days, barman Christophe was very attentive and funny.

Great location. They let you rent beach towels for a small fee but very useful and helpful if you want to save some luggage space and not bring a beach towel. The beach is a 2 minute walk away with tons of restaurants, shops and entertainment. Would stay here again.

Awesome place to stay!

We went on a mom/daughter trip and could not have asked for more! This place was in just the \"right\" location! The price was good, it's just on the outside of all of the live action at night so you could couldn't hear it. It was steps away from the beach too! Easy to grab a taxi or uber. We let the girls stay out on their on because it felt very safe - they are 18.

Amazing hotel at the centre of old town. 2 minute walk away from the beach. Lots of shops nearby. The hotel was clean and the staff and cleaning services were great. Marta, specifically, went above and beyond for me when the hair dryer in our room stopped working. I believe this was only a fault in my specific room and they had it fixed instantly. The view, the balcony and roof top were also great. Loved this hotel and would recommend to all.

Lovely hotel and location but be aware

Other guests are out till late and come back rowdy, shouting, and throwing up! Not something you want to be listening too while you try to sleep! Happens till roughly 5am so make sure you have a little drink to help you sleep 😂 nothing to be expected of considering the bars are out side! The music goes on till late but the rooms quietened down once you close the doors and windows!

During my stay at Hotel Baltum in Albufeira, I found the location to be excellent, being very central. However, the experience fell short of expectations. The room was extremely small, leaving hardly any space to move around. Unfortunately, the washroom had an unpleasant odor and lacked proper ventilation. Moreover, the overall cleanliness of the room was not up to par. Regrettably, based on my experience, I wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again due to these issues.

When we arrived to hotel baltum; we were early and asked if we could store our luggage. We were given a key to a luggage room but no one accompanied us. This is far from a secure luggage storage system. Thankfully nothing happened to our belongings but we were certainly nervous. We had only 2 towels and no hand towel in our room and when we asked if we could have an extra towel we were told we would need to wait until 8 AM the next morning. The rooftop bar we were so excited for was never opened. The room was humid or freezing cold with no temperature in between and overall felt very outdated. I would look for another option if I return to Albufeira.

The location is the star of this hotel. Right in the heart of the old town, where everything is in walking distance. Things of restaurants and shopping right around the corner. The room was very clean, with daily house keeping service at no extra charge. Parking is tricky, but the P1 garage is at the end of the street, €10 power day, and plenty of shots available. We got the regular room, and it was small, max 2 people. so if you have children, you probably will need to get a bigger room or 2 rooms. Definitely will stay here again.

Hotel Baltum is right in the middle of the Old Town Albufeira which is amazing. We had a lovely balcony over looking the town centre so we could see a lot of the bars and restaurants. The room was good, however the beds were not very comfortable and were quite solid. The staff were very friendly and the rooftop bar had a spectacular view. I would definitely recommend the hotel.
