The bedrooms are quite dated and could do with being refurbished, that said they are really clean and our stay was very pleasant. The pool area is really nice, plenty of sun lounges. Reception staff very friendly and accomidating. The bakery underneath hotel isxa must visit. I have stayed here before and will stay again

It’s very nice and a great location . It needs to be more clean . When I checked in, the washroom was dirty . I had to go get some disinfectant supplies to clean was gross . In general needs deep clean.

Stayed with a friend in the pool view apartment and it was absolutely brilliant. Hotel is in an excellent location to walk to both old town and new town. Close to supermarket and other amenities. The apartment was a great size and very comfortable. The facilities at the hotel were superb. Couldn't fault it at all!

Hotel very nice only comment I would make is that I never realised you had to pay extra for the gym and spa. It’s only 3 euros per person per day and well worth it but I wasn’t aware of this charge before arriving at hotel. Definitely wouldn’t stop me going again.

It's fine. If you're looking for a no frills, simple place to stay, this is it. Although it has a big pool, gym and other amenities, it's DEFINITELY not what I would consider a 4 star hotel. I would rate more as a 2 or 3 star max. But it was still \"nice\". Staff were friendly.

Bad side was the room. It was small, outdated with a very strange design to it. It needs a refresh overall.

Hotel staff were excellent. The rooms could do with updating but very clean and comfortable. All in all very quiet apart from one afternoon where there was some major work in the apartment above me. The metal chairs on balconies are very uncomfortable to sit on too. Hotel central for most things - walked to old town daily, plenty of restaurants nearby and also took a taxi to Vilamoura (€25).

I have traveled to numerous places and stayed in countless hotels. However, this particular hotel proved to be the worst experience I've ever had. To start, the room had a strong odor, and the furniture was notably aged. I booked a one bedroom apartment for 4 people, which included two sofa beds, and my daughters both complained of discomfort and back pain after the first night's sleep. The hotel's 4-star ranking puzzled me, especially when there was no shampoo provided in our bathroom. Astonishingly, the front desk's response was to suggest purchasing shampoo from a nearby grocery store. In all my 30 years of travelling to more than 22 countries, I have never come across a hotel, even one with a 2-star rating, that didn't offer complimentary shampoo to guests, let alone instructed them to buy their own. Furthermore, the absence of beach/pool towels was another disappointment, with the hotel's solution being to purchase them elsewhere.

Remarkably, the room contained a safety box, but obtaining a key for it came at an additional cost. Even basic amenities like teabags, coffee, and bottled water were lacking in the room. The overall condition of the hotel room, including stained towels, left me feeling disgusted. Despite the steep price of over $500 per night, I couldn't even consider this hotel worthy of a 1-star rating. Fortunately, our reservation was limited to just two nights, after which we relocated to another hotel near Pine Cliffs for the third night.

Hotel is in a great location to walk into the old town. It is on a road with transport links, supermarket next door and restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room was of a good size and the communal areas including the pool were excellent and very clean.

Apartment was spacious and well-equipped. Apartment was very clean and cleaned daily. Hotels.com website states \"Wifi available - EUR 10 per week\". To be accurate, this should be corrected to EUR 10 per week PER DEVICE. Wifi was not always fast or reliable, despite the cost. The restaurant was open for breakfast but not for dinner unless there was a large group staying at the hotel. The apartment had a safe, but not larger enough for a laptop, and also NOT FREE

As others have said, property very clean, they seem to keep their staff. Surprising to pay for wifi and the safe, as its normally free.

Bit surprised one morning to see people putting towels out to bag the beds, as there were abundance of them! Take or buy your own dishclothes etc, no scissors in room.

Good location, good customer service. The only problem is that the infrastructure is old/ outdated and you can hear absolutely every noise from the surrounding and from the neighbors.
There's also an ongoing construction next to the hotel and it's super loud. Sadly we couldn't sleep so well due to these.

Will go back again

Brisa sol is the place to be we had lovely apartment over looking the sea they upgraded us. Sun hits the balcony in the morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful Saudade one of the house keeping staff was excellent and very friendly. When I go back to Albufeira this is where I will stay and the fabulous cake shop downstairs is a must lots of restaurants and shops nearby and the beach only 10-15 minute walk.

Great hotel for the money paid in Nov 21. Studio gives option for some self catering and there is a large Supermarket next door. Also a McDonald's opposite. The cakes sold in the onsite patisserie are superb. I'll definitely be back.

Huge clean room. Suite style with a balcony and kitchenette. Friendly, helpful staff. Only negative is some accessibility issues outside, hotel has an accessible entrance on to cobbold streets and no drop from path.

Stayed here for 5 nights after we checked out of previous property due to lack of air con. We had stayed here 4 years ago so knew the air con was individually controlled. We booked one bed apartment with a pool view. Large apartment with comfy pillows and beds. Pity they don't supply any washing up liquid or cloths. Hotel is a bit dated but it is immaculately clean, hotel staff nice. Pool is huge but very cold! I could only manage 2 lengths! Apartments very central but quiet. Good stay.

Well located hotel with a good size supermarket next door for if you are self catering, staff are always freindly and welcoming good size room and bathrooms all with double size showers roim are always cleaned great size outside pool and warm indoor heated pool, hotel also has a gym and good size restruant on the lower floor and bar on the lobby floor they also have there own patersie which has recently been extended offering a fantastic range of fresh cakes at very good prices and now also sell fresh ice cream. I have been there for the last few years and always have a good experience.

Lovely hotel. Big room with kitchen facilities which was handy. Pool area really nice. Always sunbeds available through the day. There are facilities like gym, crazy golf and wifi but you have to pay for them. It's about 10 mins walk into Old Town. Big supermarket next door.

Great aparthotel,very clean throughout,lovely pool area,cant comment on food as went self catering,studio we stayed in was a bit small as well as kitchen as i do cook on holiday,but coukd still manage,staff all very friendly and nice bar terrace,would definitely stay again but would opt for an apartment next time.

The room that they gave us was on the -2 floor with a ground floor view of the parking lot and service entrance. Very bad internet, which they charge you for. We brought our own hotspot so it was not an issue for us, but if you don't have that, then good luck ! Hotel is within walking distance to the beach area which is very nice.

Business with pleasure-Hotel has it all, Great!

Great value for money. Stayed here on business but also made a weekend of it to meet friends too. Nice breakfast (cost extra) but again good value/ quality. Would stay here again every time as only 10 minute walk to the old town of Albufiera.

Beware country view rooms

Great stay at this hotel with family. Facilities and location great. One watch out is the country view rooms - view is actually of enclosed hotel car park/service area!! with a very unpleasant odour wafting across it intermittently. Overall good would stay again, but with pool view.

Great hotel for retired couples

In February, we stayed one week in Brisa Sol meeting friends who are spending a three months holiday in this hotel each year. The staff of Brisa Sol are very hard working, helpful, charming and good mannered people who made our stay very enjoyable. We had booked a studio, although it was small but convenient for just one weeks’ stay, it was very well equipped and spotless clean. For a longer stay, we would consider to book a larger apartment like our friends had occupied which was very spacey with a large living room and balcony facing the pool. In the near future, we definitely will go back to Brisa Sol for another holiday.

Great hotel. My husband and I stayed here August 2012 for 3 nights.... great hotel. It is aging, but well kept and clean. Beds are ok, but pretty standard for an older European hotel. Rooms have a small kitchen and grocery store is right next door - was fantastic to make our own breakfast. Best bakery in town next door. Short walk to both old town and new town and beach. Pool was great, clean and refreshing. Free wifi. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Excellent location, friendly staff

The hotel's location is excellent with the beach and old town less than 10 mins walk away. Also, there is a supermarket next door and Mc Donalds and KFC across the road.
We had a pool view studio and it was well furnsihed. The only flip side was that although housekeeping attended the room each day the room floor never seem to have been cleaned for all 4 days of our stay. We din't spill things so we could live with it.
The cake shop of the hotel is divine...reasonably priced and excellent taste.
We took a couple of tours to other towns in Algarve and all of them had pick-up outside the hotel.
Overall, the satisfied with the facilities and location. The only flip side was clenliness
