Room very bijou shower needed attention on temp control if someone else used theirs in another room water stopped coming through your shower .Greeted by lovely young kind guy but younger female receptionists too busy on their mobiles didnt even say good morning to us when we did or eve or afternoon very rude both me & husband thought never had that before anywhere .

So noisy on weekends. Can hear music from clubs nearby, drunk people shouting all night, sirens, and people with ridiculously loud cars that felt like they were outside the whole night.
Also we requested a bath but didn’t get one and the standard double is too small for two people. Was convenient to walk everywhere but I guess any hotel would be as the city is very small

The hotel is in a great location assuming you are wanting to stay in the city centre with lots of shops, pubs and eateries right on the door step. The room was small but quite adequate and clean and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. We didn’t have breakfast there choosing to eat out instead so cannot comment on that.
We drove to Newcastle and most city centre hotels do not have parking, for Grey street there are a couple of options, we chose the Manors car park which depending on which route you take is between 5 and 10 minutes walk away. We went there as you can pay for a few days then come and go as you please.
A good trip and we would stay at the hotel again.

Room was fine. Noise from bar over the road to the hotel until after 2am was ridiculous. Appreciate the hotel can’t influence this but maybe people should be pre-warned off the noise prior to booking.
Old building and noise from creaking floors above from 6:30 in the morning was not appreciated.

We booked 3 rooms. All were lovely, warm and comfortable. Toiletries smell really great and everywhere was clean.
Check in was quick and easy, we arrived at 2:15 and 2 of our rooms were ready so we were able to leave our bags and freshen up. The hotel is right in the city centre so lots of things to see and do. I have stayed before and would stay again.

Our room was the first room and i was worried the smell would be in there too but luckily it wasnt. Room was fine, bathroom toilet banged against the wall when you sat down, seemed loose. 2 of the lights in the junior suite weren't working the staff gave us a complimentary bottle of prosecco which was lovely since the lights did not impact our stay in the slightest.

Very clean rooms x lovely hotel x staff so friendly and helpful, very central , no complaints, however the room had 4 steep steps down to the room and another 4 steps within the room, okay for us but not for my 81 year old parents with luggage and unsafe for them having to walk up 4 steps to the toilet in the night ! So just ask hotel which rooms steps etc I’m sure they would accommodate as very friendly
