It’s a motel with a water park attached to the back. Feel like updates need to be made inside of the room. There were no floor length mirrors, only one mirror in the bathroom and i didn’t like how the doors in the rooms lead to other rooms. Bed was noisy also when laying or moving around on it

We stayed here to celebrate my sons birthday, and while he had fun, we were honestly ready to leave after the second day because there wasn’t much to do. The room was clean and pools were clean.

What concerned me most was the atmosphere. During our stay, there were at least two separate incidents where guests were involved in altercations, and police were called multiple times. As a military veteran living with PTSD, I specifically chose what I thought would be a family-friendly environment, so that was disappointing and stressful.

The staff wasn’t always welcoming, and there seemed to be ongoing tension between staff and guests throughout the property. I’m not sure if it was poor communication or something else, but there were several unnecessary conflicts that affected the overall experience.

The location may work if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay, but if you’re expecting a peaceful, family-oriented resort atmosphere, you may want to consider other options.

This was my first time staying at this location. We were visiting for Father's Day. The rooms were clean. The hotel was easy to navigate and the swim area was well organized. We were not aware that we had to pay for breakfast each day so that was something we had to navigate But wasn't hard to find other restaurants because this hotel is located on international drive and I surrounded by restaurants. But overall this was a good visit and we had fun at the hotel.

The room are not like the pict at all. It kinda reminded me of a motel. The staff were friendly and kind however there was a lot going on there. My daughter asthmatic and I wanted a smoke free location but nope, that wasn’t the case. People were smoking outside & in the rooms, which the smoke came to our rooms. Again my daughter has asthma so I wanted a smoke free zone. Pool was awesome, water park was phenomenal, they just needed to be strict with certain things and need to upgrade the rooms.

Do not stay here. Aside from the rooms not being what they promote (cleanliness, view, accommodations) the staff is not helpful. I had my phone stolen and a staff member all in my face arguing with me because of it. They ended up calling the cops and my phone was returned AFTER the fact that the police’s had arrived at the facility.

Room smelled like weed and they only could accommodate us with a housekeeping refresh.
The waterpark was why we booked and it was the only perk and descent because it was clean and you didn’t have to wait in long lines.
Overall though the place just seemed a little trashy and not family friendly. People were smoking everywhere and out being loud late. Do not recommend for going as there many other better options in Orlando at the same or similar price point and better quality.

The rooms are clean and spacious. The water park is great for the kids. Many convenient things to do on site and it is central to many places. If you have a stroller or heavy objects, ask for the first floor. No elevators.

It’s reminiscent of a motel 6 with a kiddie water park. If you’re looking to vacation on a budget this might be your place but if you’re looking for something more upscale I wouldn’t recommend. I usually stay at The Grove and maybe this is why I was so disappointed.

Major upgrades to the rooms are needed. Why would they would put beds right next to the ACs is crazy to me. Tortured sleeping for that person or the room bakes when you turn it down/ off.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not stay here again.

The room had a strong smell of humidity and felt damp and uncomfortable throughout my stay. Cleanliness overall seemed to be a major issue, especially in the pool area.

The most disturbing part of my stay was witnessing a guest bring a child with a soiled diaper/pants into the pool to rinse off feces. This was absolutely disgusting and raised serious health and sanitation concerns. The pool already appeared dirty, and seeing that happen made the situation much worse.

This experience was unacceptable and completely ruined my confidence in the hotel’s cleanliness standards. Unfortunately, this is an absolute never again for me.

The place was nice; however, we had to call the front desk several times due to a domestic situation in the room next door. Nothing was ever done. The people staying in the room were yelling profanities loudly and slamming items and smoking weed. We had children with us. It was not a pleasureble experience.

I would never return to this hotel. The rooms are very old and have a moldy smell. The air conditioner was leaking water onto the floor, the doors were difficult to open because they would stick shut, and the door handles were extremely hard to turn, clearly showing their age.

also, the bed sheets had small black particles on them!

The swimming pools were not clear, and I felt disgusted by their condition. However, since we were already there, I felt obligated to let my kids swim. Afterwards, I had to scrub their skin thoroughly because I was so concerned about the cleanliness of the water.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.

Some of the staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms could have been cleaned a little better, when walking barefoot our feet would turn black. As for restaurants, they claim to have 3, but all of them have the same menu, you just order from different locations, and it takes awhile. Kids will love it bc of the waterpark and pools. However, they don't have alot of tubes for the slides, so you have to wait in line until one becomes available. Overall, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't go back, but it was good enough.

Unfortunately our room wasn't made available until nearly 6pm, access to the water facilities closes at 7p with no access the following day before checkout as the water facilities do not open until 11a which is checkout time. Once we got our room number there was a discrepancy between the emails and calls causing us to go to the wrong room and then the correct room, the key wouldn't work. Once staff was notified they sent a representative to the room and got us access pretty quickly. The rooms could use some freshening up. Overall between the resort fee, the parking fee and the minimal usage of the water facilities, it was not worth the money sadly.

This hotel and water park is awesome! We stayed 5 days with 2 boys (6) and (9) and we couldn’t get them out of the water. This place also has an arcade and mini golf on site, however they cost extra to use either one. as one can purchase a game card like Dave and Busters to play the games win tickets and get cheap prizes..not our highlight but still fun. There is a bar on site however you will pay for drinks just like any other resort you go too. The rooms were nice and remolded, nothing fancy but simple. Staff at front desk was very helpful, they held our bags after we checked out and still let us swim for the day, ( we didn’t fly out until 8:30 pm) they also gave us free I ride passes for every day we wanted to ride the bus. There’s a few restaurants and cheap souvenir shops across the street which was convenient when you’re on a budget. This hotel is located in a great place to get to the amusement parks easily. NOW THE NEGATIVE! our mini fridge froze our drinks and there was no temperature setting on there, the safe in the room should be bolted to the wall or floor not sitting loose on the bottom shelf ( you don’t feel comfortable leaving valuables or money in there knowing the safe could walk away. The shower door is backwards.( you open door, turn on shower, adjust temperature and get in.. not here.. you open door, reach to the back of shower to turn it on, it’s not right. Please put down shower mats and sticky’s in the shower it’s slippery getting in and out 👍 hotel

Room was clean, staff were friendly, and the pool was nice. The tv only worked 25% of the time so thankfully we weren’t in the room too much. Also, don’t eat at the restaurant unless you plan to wait a while. While being the only family there to eat, we waited over 30 minutes before asking about the status of our dinner. We were then told it’d be another 20 minutes or so and that there was only 1 cook taking orders for those around the resort. Not a great setup. They generously refunded our order and we went elsewhere. Otherwise, a nice place to stay with several amenities!

Lo recomiendo 100% perfecto para familias y sobretodo para niños. Fuimos con una niña de cumpleaños y la pasó muy bien. El personal bien pero puede mejorar en su amabilidad y sobretodo ser bilingue ya que al hotel vamos personas de todos los países y no todos dominamos en inglés y menos sin tener un poco de ayuda con el personal pero de lo demás todo perfecto, limpio y el desayuno buffet bueno, piscinas perfecto.

I recently stayed at Coco Key Hotel & Water Resort during their remodeling project, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations.

The construction noise was noticeable throughout the stay, making it difficult to relax. The room itself had not been updated and felt outdated compared to what was advertised. Considering the condition of the room and the ongoing renovations, I found the hotel to be overpriced.

A helpful tip for future guests: do not purchase the breakfast package through Expedia. Breakfast is available for a lower price directly through the hotel, and children eat free, which can save families a significant amount of money.

We also attended the timeshare presentation. Be prepared to wait a long time before being called in. The process was not well organized, so plan accordingly and be aware of the time commitment before agreeing to participate.

Overall, the water park was enjoyable for the kids, but the hotel experience and value for the price were disappointing.

Room 6502 has a sink faucet that doesn’t stay on. You have to hold it up. The shower had a movable shower head but wouldn’t turn on when you switched the knob. The thermostat, although it worked, always had an Error code on the screen anytime it times out…but the air still functioned. And the fridge was too cold and didn’t have a temp to be able to turn it up…it froze everything. None of those were deal breakers.

The hotel and water park were clean and fun. I wish the water park would’ve opened even an hour earlier as my young kid gets up at the crack of dawn.

Park of the “flooring” at the water park is ripping up and needs replaced, but it was fun. The cost of foods or drinks or arcade games was insanely high, which is normal for resorts and yet woukd be nice if they could make it more reasonable for families.

We stayed just one day and night, it was good my kids of course love it, the room was upgraded and nice, the park need some repairs the floor is bad on the pool my daughter fell twice because, and the water on the pool and water park was ice frozen then if you are going for the pool and the park it just has to be way in summer otherwise the water is to cold for kids and they can get sick, other that that is great to have fun

The pool areas look nice as well as the entrance but the buildings are old and dilapidated. We went to check in, saw the room in which they gave us the wrong room that would not accommodate my family size and we requested a refund and did not stay. The smell was so bad and it was one of those places that I’d be scared to take off my shoes in the room or even sleep on the bed. I booked a room that was supposed to be a bunkbed a king bed, and recently renovated, and it was not that at all it was a queen bed and no bunkbeds and it was old and rotten. The staff seemed friendly and inquisitive. I’m sure they deal with this often.

The shower leaked, the fridge didn’t work, the ac was either Antarctica or the rainforest (set over 70 and condensation pooled on the floors and dropped down the walls). The entire property smelled like whacky tobacky… but there was a Starbucks on property that was decent and my kids loved the waterpark… hooks to hang towels or somewhere to put wet bathing suits would have been nice as well as a real table and chair

Beds are horrible. A metal piece was sticking out the bed almost cut my leg. Pillows go flat and there’s only 3 per bed. Horrible! Water park was awesome besides it closing 2 hours early for no reason. Showers are very small. I hit my elbow
