The activities were pretty much closed on Sunday so we didn’t get to really enjoy it. The staff was called multiple times to my room even when I extended my day and they would not even come. I’ve definitely had a better time at this hotel two years ago, but this wasn’t the experience that I needed for the money that I paid.

Place is very dirty. Rooms are small and very noisy. Blinds don’t block out outside lighting. A/C unit is poor. My daughter saw a large black bug in the bathroom during the night causing her to scream waking us up ( she’s 7). Bug scurried under door. We checked out next day even though we had 3 days booked. Staff told us we would be refunded for final 2 nights. We never received the refund. Pictures are deceiving. Use caution..

We stayed for a week. It took us three days and that was with me going down to the front to get our room cleaned. We would come back at four or 430 5 o’clock to

get ready for dinner and it still wasn’t cleaned. It took us three days to get a working coffee pot the bugs around the pool, where her redness my poor grandchildren got eaten alive by these black things they really should think about spraying. We will never stay there again. They were dirty diapers, laying all over and I know people have babies, but clean up after yourself.

La pasamos muy bien en familia...sobre todo los niños,se divirtieron muchísimo en los parques de agua que tienen en su instalacion....
Solo quedamos un poco insatisfechos en cuanto a las instalaciónes de habitaciones por dentro,las vimos bastante oscuras,creemos que debían pensar en la posibilidad de en lugar de ventanales,mejorarlas en un futuro con balcones con cristalería etc,además de ponerle más luces por dentro...
En cuanto a todo lo demás, no tenemos queja......

When we arrive the night of our check-in, there was no water. There was a water leak and so the water was shut off.

Our entire state no one cleaned our room. We had to call for service.

The main pool water was dirty.

The waterpark was the only fun thing for kids to do and the water seemed pretty clean.

Overall, service could’ve been better and a lot cleaner.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay, the water park was excellent with a mix of bigger slides and a really water play structure for smaller kids. Plenty of chair if you get there early, the water park is literally in the middle of the hotel, super convenient to get to and from your room. Parking was abundant and easy, we were able to park right outside our room both nights.
The hotel itself has some restaurants and a Starbucks right in the hotel. The surrounding area had lots of restaurants and little shops that could easily be walked too. We went out at night and felt very safe.

We were travelling with an electric mobility scooter, Luckily we were on the bottom floor however there is only and elevator in building number 6 so if you have accessibility needs make sure to ask for building 6 or the bottom floor in the other buildings.

Overall the hotel was fun safe and clean, comfortable beds, excellent AC, also excellent water pressure in the shower!

The hotel was absolutely fantastic! There were so many activities for kids to enjoy, and my daughter made so many friends during our stay, which made it even more special. The location is amazing—everything is within walking distance or just a quick scooter or bike ride away, including tons of great restaurants. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

The toilet in our room was filthy (puke stain going down the side) when we checked in. I asked guest services for housekeeping to come to our room 6 times over 8 hours and nobody came. Finally I asked for a room change, and they gave us the room next door rather than have housekeeping come and clean the toilet, forcing us to pack up and move all our luggage for a two day stay.

Stay far away from this place. Calling it a “resort” is completely misleading. The rooms are in terrible condition—everything is worn, outdated, and clearly neglected. From the furniture to the overall cleanliness, it feels like basic maintenance hasn’t been done in a long time.

What’s even worse is their dishonest and predatory billing practices. They try to charge guests for “damages” that were not caused by them. When confronted, they fail to provide any clear evidence, documentation, or reasonable explanation to justify these charges. It feels like a blatant attempt to take advantage of guests after their stay.

Customer service is unhelpful and dismissive, offering no real support or resolution. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, they deflect and leave you stuck dealing with unfair charges.

Overall, this was a frustrating and unacceptable experience. Between the poor room conditions and questionable billing tactics, this place is absolutely not worth your time or money. Book somewhere else and save yourself the headache.

Room was clean, really wish the indoor water area opened earlier as we paid resort fees but the kids only got two hours total to play. First night we had no water so no working toilet, shower, etc. Staff was very nice, but our overall experience wasn’t what I expected. Might give it a second chance depending on our schedule next time we’re in Orlando.

My stay at CoCo Key Hotel and Water Resort was overall a great experience! The resort itself is fun, family-friendly, and perfect for a getaway—especially if you have kids. My son absolutely loved the water park and didn’t want to leave!

The only issue we experienced was the water being temporarily shut off due to a main pipe bursting, which definitely caught me off guard. However, I truly appreciated how quickly and professionally management handled the situation. They compensated me with a refund credit for the resort fees, which made a big difference.

Despite the inconvenience, I would definitely come back and stay again. The atmosphere, amenities, and overall experience made it worth it!

Yes there were activities for all. The pool was okay. Since the public is allowed it makes it very crowded.

We were put in the \"tower\" which they claim is newly renovated. The floors felt so dirty and our shower would leak outside the tub pooling near the toilet. The renovations were definitely DIY's. The walls and doors were just coats of paint after one another. Very sloppy with the rust seeping through, globs of drips dried, a hole in the bottom corner of the bathroom door, a fault room door lock that took several key swipes before it would finally unlock, the paint was so thick on the doors that it made opening and closing them loud and forceful, only one elevator worked with no sign saying the other one was broken, since only one worked it made it very slow and caused families a lot of frustration, stairs were located outside with a door that never fully closed, and the lifeguards never seemed like they were truly watching. The lifeguards would walk back and forth look at one end for 5 to 10 seconds, nod their head then rinse and repeat. One of the pool gates stopped working on our last day and another lady told me how she got ice from one of the stations and it had a cockroach. Whenever the sprinklers came on it smelt like a sewer. There is so much work that needs to be done in this hotel. We won't be using it again.

Staff was wonderful, every staff member was attentive and polite. The room could have been better, the bed frames were old, our bed would squeak. The room smelt dusty and there was dust on the curtains. The bathroom was small, dint like the tub and to close the shower was hard it wouldn’t close all the way the water would drip at night. They do have more modern up to date rooms, we just happen to be given an old one.

The entrance to property was nice. Room was horrible! Beds were old and uncomfortable, even pillows were flat. Continental breakfast was not free. Only one elevator worked. Shuttle to Universal was booked, had to take a lift. Checked out early, staff wasn't willing to accommodate anything. The experience was awful, do not recommend!

I like that the waterpark is included with stay and the room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. The pool and water park never runs out of towels and the waterpark has something for all ages, kiddie pool and slides, big slides, parrots perch and 2 big pools on property. The burgers are great and location central to food and other activities.

Family friendly, great for families with small kids. The staff is helpful and friendly. Close to all the parks. However, it’s an old resort, recently got a face lift. It’s not the cleanest. Also, we booked on Expedia and were forced to pay $50 a day for access to the water park that we didn’t use.

The resort has a very cute 1960's motel vibe. There are lots of things to do: an indoor and outdoor water park. 3 really big slides outside and a giant water climbing structure. Inside is a pool and a smaller set of slides for smaller kids. (Ours are 8 and 11). There is also a regular pool towards the front with a hot tub. It also has an arcade and mini golf along with some food stands and shops. There are also restaurants in walking distance for pizza or Mexican or American.

A few things to note:
-The rooms with a pull-out couch are too small for more than one child.
-There is a luau on property several nights a week and while it was enjoyable entertainment and food, it was $250 for the four of us for one plate of food (not a buffet, as mentioned, they serve you) and a slice of cake (not a selection of desserts as they say).

Overall it was close to Universal parks and was enjoyable to stay at the resort on off days to relax!

Family-friendly. There’s something to do for the entire family. Arcade , water park, pools with slides for the kiddos. I really enjoyed my time here. My daughter did not want to leave.
