Very poorly maintained, very poorly cleaned. Broken hvac units. Overpriced food items in machines that do not give change. Non English speaking staff. Filthy hall carpets. Inoperable shower controls, scalding water temps. Reserved king suite, was given double queen suite. Missing and non functional room phones. Cold coffee for breakfast at 615am. My absolute worst experience in 35 years of staying in hotels.

The property & room were terrible & DIRTY! Lobby smelled terrible & dirty. Elevator - SAME! Hallway to our room had stained dirty carpet, dirty gross walls. It was so gross until we got to our room & it smelled like smoke so bad. It was so disgusting!!!! There was no microwave, no refrigerator but there was cabinets where they should have been. NO water pressure in the shower. Took me 30 min to get the shampoo out of my hair. The floors in the room were so dirty & sticky. The lock on the door was broke so we had to put a chair in front of the door. I would NEVER stay there again!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!! Pictures are bogus.

Parking was easy enough.
Room on other hand. Leaks running down bathroom wall from above. There is a leak in the wall. Could hear it dripping all night. The wall at bottom looks like possible mold where the leak is.
Bathroom door is coming apart on bottom on both sides. It did not have a curtain except a lace curtains no block out curtain.
Staff was nice. The Continental breakfast was decent.
Its an old hotwl and needs renovations.

The front desk lady was nice and polite, plenty of parking and was located within walking distance to Icon park. The hotel itself needed an update, door was very hard to shut and the deadbolt was hard to use, the bathroom really needed a makeover, the wall had a makeshift hole filler from the door hitting it. Overall nothing we couldn't look past as we were there for one night. The breakfast was fair, toast, waffles, cereal, juice and coffee and breakfast attendant was friendly. Probably would stay there again.

We booked this hotel about a month in advance and when we showed up they told us we were unable to stay there because they were oversold. All other hotels had no vacancies because of a convention in the area. We ended up having to sleep in our car in the parking lot that night.

Do not recommend staying here…the first pictures shown all definitely AI images, looks nothing like the room. When we first got there to check in, we were charged $80 for fees that i knew nothing about prior to booking through expedia. The hallways to the rooms were disgusting. The hindges on the door to the bathroom was so rusted the door wouldnt shut. We had to fill up the bathtub and use that water to fill up the toilet because the toilet wouldn’t fill with water to flush. The bathtub was definitely not cleaned prior to our stay. Highly disappointed and will never be staying here again.

horrible experience began on arrival. I sat in the bedroom armchair and she had one of her legs broken. I took the phone from the room to call the front desk and the phone didn't work. I requested the replacement in person. I went back to the room to take a shower, the bathtub started to fill up because the drain wasn't working properly, I believe it was clogged. I requested a room change. When I arrived in the other room as soon as I opened the door I felt a strong smell of mold. I went to a nearby store and bought those appliances to plug in to make the environment smelly to try to soften. I soon realized that there was a large water leak under the floor and the water was literally sprouting from the floor in front of the bathroom. I requested the room change again. I got to the third room and apparently (and to my surprise lol) there was no problem. But right after walking barefoot for a few minutes I looked at my foot and it looked like I had walked on the dirty asphalt barefoot!!!! I went to the toilet to clean my foot and guess what?! There was no toilet paper lol
I asked about the cleaning and they said they don't have a systematic cleaning, it's only cleaned when requested.
In short: the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life. The employees are extremely attentive and polite, there is nothing to complain about them, I believe it is exclusively a problem of the administration, the impression that they are breathing through devices, saving every dime

We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience from the start. There is no visible sign from the road, which made the property difficult to find. Upon arrival, we noticed the balcony walkways were dirty and had trash scattered around, which didn’t leave a great first impression.
Inside the lobby, there was a strong smell of gasoline that was hard to ignore. Check-in was also frustratingly slow. With only two groups ahead of us, we still waited at least 15 minutes to be helped.
During check-in, every guest — including us — asked about the “daily hotel fee.” It was explained that the fee covers the “free breakfast,” pool access, and housekeeping (housekeeping must be requested, even if you don't they will press their faces against your window in the morning). Unless you carefully read the fine print the additional charge was not clearly listed on their website or Expedia, which understandably caused confusion and concern among guests.
I do want to mention that the gentleman who checked us in was understanding and apologetic. He handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, a younger woman with braces was quite rude and argumentative when guests politely questioned the fee, which only added to the frustration.
The rooms themselves smelled so strong of fabuloso with residue all on the floors making them extremely slippery and sticky not to mention thw headache from the chemical smell. We used one of the towls to wipe it up and the towl wa

They overbooked the restaurant by 50 rooms! We ended up saying two hours outside of Orlando to go to an event at the convention center the next day. To say I am furious is putting mildly. I plan this trip two months in advance paid in full for the hotel. Didn’t plan on having to drive from the hotel to any of the events that I had to go to. I spent half the time in my car because of this hotel. And the manager didn’t even have the balls to show his face. I expect compensation in addition to the refunded room rate.

- initial room key wouldn’t work. Couldn’t get a replacement room key for 24 hours so every time I left my room, I had to get the front desk to let me in.

- room was dirty, shower had rust everywhere

- no TV remote

Staff was amazing and super friendly.. breakfast was literally a waffle maker and 2 cereal options and toast... the bathroom door didn't close, the door to the room didn't shut well, we only stayed one night so we endured. The bed was actually pretty soft the main room looked renovated, bit the bathroom toilet leaked, there was mold in the shower, ai have asthma it was pretty bad, my girlfriend tried to clean it for me, but the Staff Jess in particular made us laugh. I know the area had some trouble and i try not to write just the bad... so here are the positives as well... it is conveniently close to shopping and restaurants, as well as to all the parks. If you need to change rooms and they have availability they will definitely try to accommodate you.. we were only there one night and things were booking fast... so we made it work.

Absolutely horrible hotel! Rooms were very poorly maintainer whether HVAC not working or door lock not working. At a time only1 room key will work even if front desk provides 2. They provide 2 keys with a disclosure only 1of them work & we do not know which 1 so mark 1 with a black marker; so customer tries & figure which one will work. If you try to get other one worked; previously working key will stop.
The coldest day in 15 years in Orlando & heater doesn;t work. I got room changed but figured that they provided same room to another customer without fixing so staff is not really bothered. Same goes with room cleaning; they do not do on own & ask to tell front desk if you want to clean but despite that they do not.
Even breakfast was limited items & staff has been told not to fill up once its over.

Horrible horrible; not meeting Choice/ Quality Inn nor standard at all.

For a short stay, it was okay. However, cleanliness was a major issue. I had to go to Walmart to buy disinfectant wipes. The toilet was covered in urine, and the shower/bathtub had hair, including pubic hair. The mirror above the sink was covered in spit and toothpaste, and there was hair and toothpaste left in the sink as well. The bathroom door handle was barely attached, and the shower and tub handle came off.

The room had a humidifier, and without it running there was a damp, musty smell. My family and I woke up twice with sinus and throat irritation.

The food was okay, and the staff was nice and helpful.

The stay was full of problems and missing important details:
1. Three days/ 3 times were changed the Electronic Room Keys because not opened the room.
2. Breakfast terrible / no diversity, all days the same
3. No hygiene articles in room and dust everywhere.
4. Room trash not collected during stay althought it was notified,
5. Cigars odors like marihuana entering room ducts. It was notified.
6.Bathroom shower broken and leaking water.
7. Service and amenities really bad.

Never consider go to this with your family. Rooms were like Motels.

We stayed in what we thought was this quality inn 2 or 3 years ago and it was great. Evidently they sold the property and bought the old red roof inn next door. Not nearly as nice!! The staff promised us a first floor room but no room was ready yet. They said go grab a bite to eat and come back, they'll hold the rooms for us. We came back and they gave those rooms away and we ended up on the 3rd floor. Then they weren't sure which set of keys to use so they gave us one of each so we could go up and check which one works then we had to return to the front desk to get a key made. Kind of lazy if you ask me. Not very professional. Just an overall very bad experience makes me want to think no more quality inn. We were staying in the area another 5 days and would have typically added on to the reservation but decided it's best if we moved to a different hotel. Definitely will not be staying at this one again

For my recent stay at Quality Inn Orlando Near International Drive, 8342 Jamaican Ct, Orlando, FL 32819, which I booked through Expedia for January 9–16, 2026.

From arrival, the condition of the property was concerning. The front entrance mat was dirty, and the carpets on Level 3 were poorly maintained, though they were vacuumed on January 13. Inside my room, I found hair in the bed sheets and a toenail clipping on the floor beside the bed, which is unacceptable by any standard.

Throughout most of stay, Wi-Fi was not available in my room; including a total internet outage on January 14. I was finally able to access it on January 15. Because of this, I had to pay out of pocket for mobile data, despite internet access being advertised as an amenity. I also encountered a cockroach in my room one night, raising further concerns about cleanliness.

Breakfast offerings were extremely limited (bread, bagels, waffles, coffee, tea, and juice only—no eggs or other hot options), and even basic equipment was lacking, with only two slots of a four-slot toaster working. Additionally, housekeeping was only provided upon request, which was not clearly communicated at booking.

While staff members were polite and apologetic—particularly Jess and her coworker who attempted to assist on the night of January 11 or 12—the issues were never resolved.

Given the number and seriousness of these issues, I believe this stay did not meet the standards advertised on Expedia.

The desk staff was very nice and friendly but there are so many problems with this motel. All outside building doors are left open all night, with outside stairs providing unlimited access to anyone. The room keys needed to be re-coded every day, there are no bathroom fans, the air conditioned don’t work. (We had two separate rooms). There are ice buckets but no ice machine. Finally, there is a breakfast but it is entirely carbs no protein foods. (Only dry cereal, bread, waffles, bagel) There is juice and a couple of apples if you’re early enough. Housekeeping doesn’t clean or re-stock, but only makes the beds.

The hotel is conveniently located.
It is right across from the Eye, Madame Tussauds , and Ripley's.
But, the bathroom had some rusted areas as well as stains on the floor.
The furniture could use an upgrade.

The motel is run down and old. It needs to be updated. There was paint chipping off the walls, makeup stains on the flooring, rusting on the toilet and the outlets by the bed did not work. I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. There was a glob of lotion or something on the floor by the shower. Couldn’t stream with the WiFi. TV kept randomly turning on in the middle of the night? I had to unplug it. I wouldn’t recommended. However, it is cheap, the air conditioning worked well, there was an air purifier which was nice. No weird smells in the room. Small fridge and freezer. Bed was comfortable. You get what you pay for I guess but worth an extra $50 to stay somewhere nicer.

Facility outside really dirty aswell. Unfortunately this brings good meaning to the phrase; you get what you pay for.

The AC/Heat unit in the room didn't work, also they have roaches. There is a Staff member named Johnny who will hit on you if he likes you and kiss you on the first day you arrive. He will hover by your door; he will however discount your daily rate too. The staff smoke pot but if you're in the back area it will go into your room, and you will enjoy the aroma of weed smells. They have another member named Chris younger who is completely not a great staff member or good with people at all and is usually there at nighttime. The room 227 in the back second floor I stayed in was newly redone, the faucet for the tub leaked not just a little but I was able to build a moat out of towels to make sure it didn't flood the bathroom floor. Rooms should have Microwaves, to make it easier on guests to not have to go to the lobby floor to heat up their food, since most guests typically order food, go out to eat and have leftovers.

The hotel looks nice on the outside but once you go inside it’s not what you expected. The water don’t flush in my room and then the water was cut off the last day I was there. There were roaches and too at night in my room. The key didn’t work when I checked in the staff helped me to get into the room and fixed that issue. This hotel is going through renovations, the good stuff: room was clean, beds were comfortable, no carpet, I was happy there was a dehumidifier the room, it is very close to many things to do very walkable area seems very safe area too.

The not so good stuff: the shampoo needed to be refilled, it was nearly empty and there should have been a body wash but instead it was just a typical small soap bar but shampoo and conditioner were full size dispensers, the hallways look a little scary remnant from previous owners neglect I guess, ice machine broken, we didn’t have breakfast there just didn’t look too good ended up going to Dennys.

The stay was OK. I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t have a microwave in the room. Other than that it was pretty decent. What I don’t like is in a whole week and I still have not got my deposit back. I constantly call the front desk they don’t answer. I talked to the reservations. They called the front desk. They don’t answer call customer relations they pretend like they don’t hear you on the phone at this point I’m going to dispute the deposit charge because it’s ridiculous. A hotel that never answers The phone is unacceptable.

I was charged $50 security deposit but never refund after I left, now I have to call my credit card company and open a dispute claim, they never give the receipt, so I will need to open a dispute without any prof of the charge. Too bad.

A couple of the staff members that I encountered were extremely nice and helpful, although there wasn’t much help needed from them. The room however, was terrible. At a quick glance, it seems fine or at least average. But when the toilet paper hanger fell off the wall and the water dribbled from the showerhead and there was a portable air conditioner inside the room among other things, I realized I didn’t enjoy the stay much at all.

I was placed in two room cause to roaches. The hotel entrance sign is on the ground broken. The elevator is missing a button. The third floor is getting new rugs and guess is inhaling the fumes. Homeless people sleeps in the lounge at night time only when the front desk is in his office.
Refrigerator freezer is frozen where you can’t place a small bottle of water. My guest opinion is the company needs to invest and new management and staff and hope they can save this company.

For my bug issue the hotel informed me I have to call Expedia and file a claim for a full refund I did this morning. I have video & pictures for my issue with the hotel.

The room had noticeable repairs and the walls need a new coat of paint. The shower tub had rust. There was also a lot of blonde hair on the floor and sink. The air purifier/humidifier needs to be changed every day. The google and Expedia website needs to be updated, there is no gym access. The hotel could use a water refill station and microwaves in the room.

I never check-in. I have a reservation and at the time of my arrival they told me that the hotel was full. sold my room.
