I have stayed in several hotels in Orlando, but this Hyatt Place I-Drive hotel will always be my favorite, it is my third time here and I am always very pleased. The staff is very friendly, I love the breakfast, the rooms are always clean. This is definitely my #1 hotel. Kim, Roberto, Rafaela, Issabela, Cesar & Celeste are the best.

The room was clean and very spacious, which is important when traveling with a little one. The staff are friendly and helpful. There’s a cafe, mini Starbucks and a bar in the lobby which is very convenient. Plus there were plenty of great restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. We were very pleased with our stay.

I enjoy staying at Hyatt hotels and I think it is a little ridiculous when you know folks are primarily in town for a event at the Convention Center or the attractions and they are charging to eat or park. The stay should suffice but at least service was up to par.

If it wasn’t for a racist customer who was shouting racial slurs at my friend and too many kids shouting up and down the halls, and the $29 dollar per night parking fee, it would have gotten all 5. The room was neat and clean- spacious. Each day, it was perfectly re-set. Breakfast was also good with surprisingly decent options.

Breakfast items where limited, hotel was very busy over the Christmas period and was difficult to get a seat, especially when breakfast stopped at 9:30am, maybe if hours where extended, that wouldn't happen.
For some reason the man cleaning the floors decided breakfast time was the best time to do this. One lift would be out of action, leads across the floor while he dried the floors.
Why not wait until after the breakfast rush or earlier in the morning?
You pay for parking, however free carpark in the next parking lot infront of the hotel.
Swimming pool was clean, towels provided.

There was garbage outside the can right in front of the elevator and temperature of the room could’ve been cooler when we walked in. Shower was clean. This isn’t my first time staying here, and once again, it was a great experience overall. My main concern, however, is the parking situation. After paying thousands of dollars for a five-night stay, why should I have to pay an additional $20 per night for parking? This feels excessive. As an international traveler, it’s unrealistic to rely on walking or ride-sharing for the entire trip. I can understand a fee for a second vehicle, but charging that amount for one car at a place I’m calling home for several days feels unnecessary. What is this, an amusement park?

Another point to note is the breakfast. While it was delicious, the lack of variety made it repetitive and stalling. Some rotation in the menu would greatly improve the experience. If I book again, I would likely skip adding breakfast for this reason.

That said, my stay was still very enjoyable. The staff were warm and welcoming; especially Azaria, who truly stood out. She was accommodating, personable, and an absolute gem.

Pool hours are up until 10 because it is outside and towels are set out there for ease of access, nice. I did not like the surprise $50 each day holding cost though. The room service made the beds but did not remove or replace used towels or amenities and did not give us a new trash bag so we had to put our trash in a shopping bag the next two days after that.

The receptionist on the first night warned us of a locked door scenario for security after midnight without room card (which i am totally fine with) but that was actually not something they did when I returned at 2 AM and the door opened without needing verification of stay. The phones cut out on us twice when talking to reception and we never got a call back either time.

Our room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The location of this property is a complete home run as everything on I-drive is walkable from here. Only thing I found to be ridiculous is the fact that they make you pay for parking, DAILY, even though you're a paying guest at the hotel. Hotels need to stop this ridiculous practice. Oh, and the breakfast that I pre-paid for was nice and convenient but everything was COLD.

My stay was fantastic overall. The only pro kem I didn't like was the fact that breakfast wasn't complimentary and you had to pay to park. All of these shouod have been included with our stay, just my opinion. But overall it was excellent.

Anniversary trip

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hyatt place. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had a great anniversary trip. They even remembered us and greeted us when we went by each morning and evening. They comped our breakfast buffets when our room got changed at checkin and gave us a bigger room. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious.
